Schnucks, The manager at the Godfrey store is amazing! The manager at the Godfrey, IL store is very personable.. He always recognizes his customers and always willing to help locate something and/or to answer any questions. He is a great asset to the Schnucks company!

Schnucks Bloomington IL Excellent Service

Schnucks, The Good Part. Instead of only complaining about the deli in Bloomington IL store should have included the good part: Yes as noted Mary Beth was THE best deli manager. However several other are excellent too: Dave who managed the dairy/frozen food area was superb – he just retired. Barb who frequents the customer service area and other ‘office’ duties is also superb; she knows the store – how to get answers the very rare times she does not know; she is willing to help with check-out at very busy times – she is excellent and I hope Schnuck’s recognizes this. Kat is part of the customer service desk help and also knows how to take care of issues that may arise.

Schnucks Bloomington IL Deli Issue

Schnucks, Changes in Deli, Bloomington, IL. Ever since Mary Beth left this deli has gone downhill; the salad and other case items are in wide open flat dishes and always appear as if have been sitting for hours, dried out on top. Seems can never have broccoli raisin in stock and deli staff hardly in place, friendly. The one good remaining after Mary Beth was the Boar’s Head products. Two days ago, all this had changed to a DietzWatson brand; the two guys were different – friendly, talkative helpful; I asked why the change – because Boar’s Head had recall; well, that was way last year and only for one of the ham products; other local stores (Jewel-Osco) continued this line just not the recalled hams. I asked the one person if was new manager and he said, no but I wish; I wish too would be excellent. This young man, forget his name – maybe Danny; dark hair and glasses?, would be excellent; customer friendly, knew his products. So tried the horseradish cheese and salami for salad. The new brand of cheese hardly tastes like horseradish cheese and the salami was terrible. I sincerely hope you return to Boar’s Head and put this young man in charge of the deli. In the meantime will make extra stop at Jewel for Boar’s Head.
