I was very disappointed in the Kabota Corp. after receiving a letter from the dealer that in December '14 I spent $25,000 on a Kabota tractor includng 5 attachments. The dealer informed us that Kabota is more interested in units sold then in customer service. This is my second Kabota and it will be my last just because I don't care about the way you conduct business. It's really a sorry commentary when customer care comes in second to sales! My daughter and I purchased a commercial grade zero turn mower from Wilson Equipment In Spartanburg, SC On April 29th, 2017. The first month and a hal, we were absolutely elated with this machine. Two day6s short of owning this machine for 90 days, and the last month and a half-our machine has been in the shop more than it has been here mowing anything. First they said nothing was wrong with it, to take it back home and run it. We did and of coarse the machine got worse. Took it back and they tell me the fuel pump is faulty, and it will take a week and a half to get the fuel pump shipped in- unless if I wanted to pay the freight to get the part overnight-which i agreed to do because the grass continues to grow even though I have no mower present, even though we just laid out close to $8,000.00 for this brand new mower. so 8 days later the fuel pump is back and installed and I am told my less than 3 month old mower is working fine. We couldn't even finish mowing our place, a little over 3 acres of grass, before the mower starts to stall. PTO engaged or not, the mower would not run. so I have my mower 2-3 days before I load it up and here we go back to the shop. Now I am told that the carburetor is bad. So once again my mower, 2 days short of being 3 months old, is back in the shop. Now I know machines or parts will break down, its a machine. My question to you now is "What are you going to do about it?" 2 major parts in less than 3 months, all my down time as my yard turns into a hayfield while waiting and waiting for repairs to be made. At what point is this machine gonna be declared a lemon and replaced??? Happens with cars all the time! We did not put out that kind of money for a mower that lasts a month and a half- Don't you agree that $8000.00 is a bit steep for less than 2 months usage??? I am not trying to get something for nothing, we damn sure didn't mind the cost of our mower while it was working. But I will be damned if I continue to pay for something that costly and it is of no use to me. At first I was merely angry and disappointed with Wilson Equipment for all the sales build up talk on this mower and the freakishly slow service department. Now< simce my mower has spent almost as much time in the shop as it it has in service, I am beginning to question the brand of machine I bought. Once again, what are you going to do about it??
