AND I WAS TOLD NO REFUND WAS SUBMITTED BY HOT TOPIC YET **HOT TOPIC CUSTOMER SERVICE REP ASSURED ME AND GAVE ME A REFUND CONFIRMATION NUMBER** WHICH IVE BEEN CALLING WITH FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS WITH TO CHECK THE STATUS NOW ALL OF THE SUDDEN I SPEAK TO A REP 12/21/2015 AND THE CONFIRMATION # GIVEN TO ME IS MISSING NUMBERS!!! I know how you feel! I made an order over 2 wks ago & was emailed a tracking number that stated all 3 items are in the same shipment. I received 1 of the items thinking they mistakingly sent the other 2 items seperate. Finally after another week of not receiving the other 2 items I email them asking where the other 2 items are. They messaged me back saying sorry bout that but 1 of those items are out of stock & we can't guarantee delivery by Christmas! No one at any point. I had to contact them asking where my shipment is! Instead of FINDING the items & getting my shipment to me in time they tell me I can either get a refund or drive the hour and a half to the nearest Hot Topic store & hope they have it! They have the most absolute HORRIBLE customer service I have ever had to deal ! This is why this company will soon go out of business because of how horrible they treat their paying customers! My order was IN STOCK when I placed my order & because they screwed up not sending it to me when they should have, its out of stock! I gave them till 2 today rectify this or I'm contacting the corporate office & reporting them to the better business bureau & posting a horrible review on every site I can & all social media. I'm in customer service management & I know they CAN remedy this situation if they care & not helping shows they are an uncaring irresponsible company & I'll be sure to let know !

12/22/2015 I JUST CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE REGARDING MY REFUND AND AFTER RUNNING OUT OF PATIENCE BEING ON THE PHONE WITH THEM ALL WEEK TO FIX THE OVERCHARGES I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR THE GIRL CANDY (IF THATS HER REAL NAME ASKED ME FOR MY ORDER NUMBER , I GAVE IT TO HER, SHE THEN ASKED ME IF I WAS SURE ABOUT THE ORDER NUMBER WHIE SAYING MY NAME.. WTF IS GOING ON CANT THEY GET THEIR SHYT TOGETHER!!!SHE ALSO REFUSED TO TRANSFER ME TO A SUPERVISOR ASKED ME FOR WHAT??? I TOLD HER WELL ONE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT HER AND TWO TO CHECK THE STATUS ON IT. STILL SHE DID NOT TRANSFER ME, SHE WAS SO DUMBSTRUCK IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE. I went into your store spent 100.. Then walked back into one of your NY locations where an employee with short pink hair then rudely stated are you going to make a purchase or leave! I just opened your card as well... That's being shredded and all of my family will never shop there again. Your employees need better training and your staff are rude and nasty. So, I work at Hot topic store 148 in Mankato, Minnesota. and never before in my life have I met someone with such blatant disregard for mental health than I have with my current general manager, she flat out told me to 'suck it up' when I had an anxiety/panic attack last Saturday 7-9-2016. store 148 has too many employees as it is and if she didn't need me she never should have hired me. 3-4 hours a week is not part time part time insinuates 10-15 hours a week and I've barely worked 20 in two months.
I was thrown out of the mall by mall security in Butler pa, clear view mall .Someone from the store made a complaint or statement about me to the mall security and security caused a big scene yelling in my face ,And threating me with violence.Then parades me down the mall ,with many on lookers and throws me out of the mall.Im a well respected certified teacher in the state of pa and community ,I have also worked for the government of GUAM DOE.And there is some mall security officer threating me causing a scene. In my face,yelling at me ,and kicking me out of the mall.I did absolutely nothing ,I didn't even set foot in the Hot topic. This was totally out of line. I'm pressing charges .My professional reputation has been tarnished .This was totally uncalled for.Finally Im a born again Christian and would never be dispectful to any human being. This is totally ridiculous. I cannot reach corporate office they will not let you speak to a live person.When I called the store and spoke with the manager and one of the employees,at two different times.I was treated with total disrespect an hung up on.Please avoid this store Hot Topic.

Also a Hot Topic employee. Have been on the phone with both customer service, as well as trying to get through to the corporate office, for well over 2 hours. I have worked for this company for 5 years now and have been treated horribly by every person I have been able to reach over the phone. All I am trying to do is get my W2. YOU SHOULD NOT FORCE EMPLOYEES TO GO ONLINE FOR THEIR W2!!! I will be attempting this on Monday morning when (hopefully) I can speak with a HUMAN and get this issue settled. Dear HOT TOPICS Head Office:I ordered online 9/8/17 over the phone with Hot Topics customer service.Two weeks had passed by and I haven't gotten any updates with my order.I finally sent out an email to customer service asking for a tracking number on 9/21/17. Received a reply 9/22/17 saying that my order has been cancelled and NO ONE NOTIFIED ME.9/23/17 10am went in-store to repurchase the items from my original online purchase order number 11027383 except for items: 10591714 and 10963625 because they did not have it in-stock.My online order that was cancelled originally had a 30% off promotion included which I never got in-store.The store manager advised me that to call the Online Customer Service and request a price adjustment on my purchase.At 11am I called the online Roots Customer Service (1-866-460-5577) and they couldn't provide me the price adjustment.The CS rep was very rude (Alex 5330), he advised me to call actual Customer Service for Hot topics line (1-800-892-8674) who also could not help me and provide a price adjustment.I spent 45 minutes on the phone with CS rep Lius who told me he advised me to call the STORE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE at 1-626-603-3182 WHO ALSO COULDN'T EVEN SEE MY IN-STORE PURCHASE OR GIVE ME MY PRICE ADJUSTMENT.They then told me to call HEAD OFFICE at 1-626-839-4681. Tried to find a corporate email with no luck. I went to a store in Ellenton Mall only to disrespected and extremely embarrassed in the Ellenton Hot Top store in the Outlet Mall. The bad thing is I couldn't go to the manager, because, the person that was so awful was the manager. (I think her name was kayle or Kyle, I had my mother call to talk to the manager about the situation and she told my mother I am a manager and I don't have to give my name). This is what happened I specifically traveled an hour away to the Ellenton mall I normally don't mind the drive considering I enjoy the mall I like the service this specific day (Halloween)I was going to get a pair of tights for my Halloween costume. I walk in to the store and immediately was greeted with one sweet girl who worked told me some good deals I start walking towards the side of the store to work my way to the tights area to only be told " This is my second time seeing you this week must seem depressing to walk around the mall and not buy anything " I was taken away considering I wasn't even given time in the store and I felt the comment was super unprofessional and extremely insulting My response was," I'm sorry". I didn't know we weren't aloud to look, her remark was to get the fuck out of her store if I wasn't going to buy anything. She said she needs to make a certain quote of sales and if I wasn't buying anything then I needed to get the fuck out of her store. I was furious and extremely embarrassed. I traveled an hour or so away to only be treated with nothing with disrespect. I wanted security there, I wanted to be told why I was being thrown out of a store her answer was, "because I didn't make conversation and she tried both times that week".
I wanted to see if a they had the max costume exclusive funko pop. I was told that they can no longer tell me over the phone weather they have it in or not. I was also told that they can not hold it ether. I said I have to work. I cant go there every morning and hope that you have the item in. Worst custumer service. I have been a loyal cstumer. I will never shop there again.
horrible customer service i placed an order over a week ago and it still hasnt shiped, i have been on the phone with them almost everyday, and everytime i get its shipping very soon or its shipping today, well thats bullshit. then they tell me they are still within the time frame an ill get it by ten days, today is day 8 i doubt ill br getting the stuff within 2 days! horrible company a bunch of liars and scam artist, ill never do business with them again
Ordered online and all went through and gave me order number and when I checked status it was still processing for a week. I emailed customer service and they said give it a couple more days. Next thing I know they sent email cancelling my order for lack of merchandise I wanted. Why can't you just not let items through to paying field if you are all out of merchandise??? I am so upset and will never shop at Hot Topic again.
