OMG don't ever use this company. Too many CHIEFS and not enough Indian's. The office staff in the Austin office has no idea when or where they are sending caretakers too. Caretakers that come out are not treated with the appreciation they need from the higher ups.
Omg you are so right! They also can't seem to pay employees on time! Still waiting for a paycheck after a week. Still calling corporate ect. To try and get my paycheck. Mean while my rent is late and phn would have been turned off if i had not barrowed money. Who are they kidding? I cant get the truth out of anyone and catch them in lies about whether or not my payroll has been submitted. 1 week later it has still not been submitted. This is NOT good business. There is more bad where that came from but not enough room for it on here.
Omg I been with the company for years, have seen a lot and heard every lie known to man from the Austin Texas office. I think the best way to put a lite under the office people butt is that the employees and family should send a certified letter to the president of Girling he will have to sign for it in order to see what the mail is. I have had clients email the big office out of state no luck resolving the issue. they end up going with another agency but some do still touch base with me. as for your pay check hum I would log the calls then go to the board of labor a investigation will start your work records will be looked at and figured out honestly Girling may owe you more than you think uncountable times I had to fight for my pay check. the Girling web site give info. on the higher up staff.
Ive been treated very bad after i always say yes when they ask can you float. They say $10hr but when i get paided no where is there $10 on my check stub. Also i get calls from Girlings office saying i will not get paid $10 because i worked to many hours which are the hours they gave me to work when they need me to work with a client they talk to me nice but when its time to pay me they are mean
I was a patient, and someone is using my social security number......wonder where they found that.....can't get anyone in the corporate office to respond or help. What a joke. No, they have not taken care of me for a long time, but have all of my personal information.......social security number, D.L. #, D.O.B., etc....... beware!!!!!
The San Antonio office isn't any better. Its so hard to communicate with anyone there. I've been calling and calling about this new Vesta Visit Clock system that isn't working. It cant verify my Token ID but has anyone returned my call, Noo!! Which means I probably won't get paid. My mom happens to be client of Girling/Gentiva, maybe its time for us to take our services else where!!
My dad has been having issues as well with this company we are changing too can't believe this company is still in business. My poor dad is 90years old its sad that we have trust in Girling but no more. The caretakers they send are lazy and always on the phone or just don't show up at all. We are calling Girling seems like they don't care .......
I am very sorry to hear what your father as a client has to go through. I am an employee and well over educated for this job. I have heard so many complaints and wish I could be there to help every single one of you. Unfortunately, it all comes down to money. The company doesn't want to pay and hire just about anyone without knowing who they really are. 19 yrs here and I honestly only do it because I care. Today was the last draw for me. My pay rate sucks and to top that off its 3 months late! I too wonder how this company is still in business?
My dad is elderly and every week his caretaker never shows up always having to call Girling. Then when they send someone either they don't know how to wash clothes, dishes ,etc. to busy on there personal phone. When we call to complain its the same answer we are sorry and we will try to send someone.... But we will find another agency and won't recommend Abilene Girling to our family and friends that for sure.....
This company is full of shit with any and ever little thing don't ever work for them they miss a whole 30 hours on my check been waiting for two weeks for that 30 hours and ever time I call they are on lunch are in a meeting like really Smh at this company
I have been trying to reach my case manager since the 4th and it goes to voicemail. Since Jazzmin(?) refuses to return my call I called and asked for a supervisor and no surprise that it went to voicemail. I would not recommend this unprofessional company to anyone.They hire sight unseen and the quality of people they have sent is irresponsible. They couldn't care any less for the well.being of the clients.If you care about the well being of a loved one or yourself stay clear of girling.I will be calling Austin to speak with a supervisor tomorrow but I have a feeling I willjust be leaving another voicemail. This job is a joke it use to be a decent place to work but its just a hassle it's not the clients its the.people over us they don't want to give us raises but I'm quite sure the people in the office are getting all the benefits.I work with tjis company for five years I loved all my clients one of them died on me and it's never been the same but I do have one client I've been with since I started she's moving out of state so when she leave I'm done good bye
Girling is a joke. The provider I had stole from me and when me went to the store with me also. She was always on the phone or sleeping.She half did get job.She would come in late and leave early. Couldn't clock out because she left early. She still got paid cause she lied and Girling and ANITA believed her without asking me.ANITA never answer my calls and when you do talk talks to you she has excuses,denial and lies. GIRLING IS THE WORST, A REAL NIGHTMARE.I suffer with daily and don't need these issues.I hope no one has to experience them .

When I met the lady when I first started working for Girling I was going to b making $9 and hr but when I finally got my check it was $8 and the manager let this girl take my patient I have never went to a job that do that unprofessional and they want return ur phone calls at all and this is the Girling home health in Houston Tx
IT'S 2020 AND GIRLING HEALTH CARE IS STILL USELESS WITH THE SAME USELESS PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE.. IT'S VERY SAD THAT THEY TREAT THEIR WORKERS LIKE BS BUT WANT THE WORKERS TO DO THEIR VERY BEST WITH THE CLIENTS.. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE OPEN!! NO BENEFITS,VERY LOW PAY AND THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS!!
The Bryan office is just as horrible. I've been waiting since June for a caretaker. They have sent me a grand total of one person who wouldn't do any of the services I'm approved for. All she really wanted to do was Swiffer the floor and take breaks, wasted at least $50 of cleaning supplies. She used the same rag to clean the toilet then wiped down my apartment with the same towel, never washed it. I could have gotten cholera or E Coli. Always left early, sometimes just never showed up. I tried to make it work with her for nearly a month because it took them 6 weeks to find her, but I was actually worse off with her here because she never would help me with anything, just left me messes to clean up.I didn't have anybody for another 6 weeks then I randomly had a knock on the door on Monday. They had given my address to a total stranger and had her come here without saying anything to me! I had a doctor's appt that day, couldn't host a caretaker. It wasn't the caretaker's fault. They lied to her by saying they had told me. They didn't ever call me then had her come again today when I was resting. I don't have the energy to babysit Girling. I need help! I hope Medicaid hasn't been paying them for my 14 hours/week of help this whole time. THIS IS FRAUD. They cannot perform the service they claim to. They don't even treat people with disabilities like we are people. Just awful.
