Problem. Charged cancellation fee for contract when inquiry made on $10 late fee charged to me, was not informed by customer service of the impending cancellation fee. Agent seemed out to get me because I stated I was electing another service carrier for gas service and purposefully withheld info on contract penalty. Contract expired in July, so why would I not continue if I was going to pay $150. I was trying to save $10 on late fee penalty and was not given full disclosure on this contract to allow me to wait until July to change service over. Could not understand why I was denied a waiver , customer service worked to the benefit of Gas South, not to me as the customer. I should have been reminded of my contract time left, and received service expected by a nine year customer of gas south.
I have not only contacted your "customer service" regarding my receiving bills from a home I sold in June 2015 but I have been treated as if I am some sort of delinquent bill-skipping liar! I refuse to pay the bill that the new owner has accrued! I cancelled the services when I sold the house and AGAIN in December 2015 because I kept getting the bill! Bill the new owner for his use NOT ME!
