The sulphur springs location is open. They just have the most hateful spanish manager I've ever met. Gosh, he needs fired. Everything's about Him! You know? He's so so rude and nasty.Every timeI go in there his kids are in there. I'm sure eating Free.He is just a bad manager. Hispanic or whatever he is. He needs replaced .
Elko Nevada is a boom town with several goldmines and miners working 12 hour days. When I travel 20 miles to work in Elko I can pass 10 busses full of miners. Its a town that is really growing fast. From about 40,000 people to about 60,000 people in a couple of years. There is construction everywhere.While living in Texas and Los Vegas my family enjoyed Furrs restaurants. Why not check out Elko Nevada?

Sat.July 20th my husband and I were eating at Furrs in Sulphur Springs Texas (my husband has had a stroke and doesn't talk much) so I enjoy visiting with the girls that work there as was the case Sat when they were not busy,their supervisor(a lady in navy pants and top) came by and said"four of you standing around next time I will write you up"so rude in front of diners.
Sulphur Springs has some good people now, except the guy Mexican manager who is a butt to everyone of the employees and yells at them and demeans them in front of staff and customers, they really need to get rid of him!
The staff should always be able to take time if they're not busy to visit with customers,it's a family restaurant after all,isn't it???????

Your senior citizen's discount in Odessa TX is very degrading to senior citizens. Remember these senior citizens were the one's that when they were younger put you where you are now and you treat them like that. The .40 cent discount just does not seem right. Do the right thing with our senior citizens.

The Furrs in Sulphur Springs, Tx has major manager issues. They are rude to customers and the staff. They make degrading remarks about waitresses and line-servers in front of customers. I, nor any of my friends and family, will eat there again. It was embarrassing to say the least.
The sulphur springs location is pretty good now, except for the guy Mexican manager, he is nothing but a jerk.... He screams at employees in front of customers and staff and belittles them to. I don't understand why they won't change get rid of him and replace him with the ladies that run the place with kindness.. They are Mexican tooo. But, The nicest people I've ever met. They are named Brenda and Tito. Brenda has been out sick, I hope agree gets better soon and comes back, I've been treated bad myself by that Mexican manager guy.. 👦. I don't want to eat there till Brenda comes back! I'm telling you the Mexican manager is still rude. It's like he hates everyone but. Him self. Go there and see what i mean...
Oh I forgot it's like, 2,000 degrees in the place there in sulphur springs, cause, they have no air conditioning.. Looks like if main office is in Plano,it's close enough to send someone down to watch Manager anonymous and see how he just is No good at managing....
I too, have been to the sulphur springs location, and have witnessed some very ill words from the manager there. He's just one,whom should not be in charge of others.

Sulphur Springs Furrs has awesome waitresses and line servers, however, the management is RUDE!!!!!! We will not be going back until things change. Someone in the corporate office needs to investigate this restaurant. Maybe do some Undercover Boss thing.
I think you should go back to charging by item. I have seen so much waste, such absolute waste, with your 'all you can eat' policy it is shameful.

I have been a former employee for a year and a half and I have been extremely disrespected. I worked at the location in Arlington Texas and i believe that location needs new management. When i first started working at this location i made it very clear that i was still in high school and i was very active in sports, When it came to games and playoffs they never let me take off and if they did they let me take off it was a major issue. In addition to that, i believe the head General Manger and/or Mangers did something in the system to mess with not only my check but former employers checks. And to top it all off i was fired because i couldn't show up to work due to weather over the Christmas break. There was a major snow storm in the Mid East over the Christmas Break and I immediately contacted the manger at this location and explained everything to them about the weather conditions and when i was coming back, and they hung up in my face, I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone. And in addition to the manger wrong doing to their employees this job is very very very unsanitary, and something should be done. I worked at the Furr's Cafeteria when it first opened in Santa Fe, NM, when I was 17 years of age. We had 2 wonderful managers that trained the staff very well, with very high standards of what was expected of us as employees. My husband and I went to the Furr's on San Mateo in Albuquerque, NM and to say we were disappointed and disgusted with the appearance is an understatement!! Some of the salad dressings were completely empty, other had food that did belong in the dressing. There were several salad items that were completely empty and of course the salad bar was littered with salad food particles. The floor area of the salad bar had jello on the floor as well as salad food items. My gut instinct was to forget that I was a customer first and to begin to clean the area and refill the salad bar with fresh food and salad dressing served in DIFFERENT containers.I looked for a store manager and could not find one so I asked an employee that was working and cleaning her food station to please let the manager know what a disarray the salad bar was in. It took a good 15 minutes to get a young man, that looked to be about the age of 18, to clean the area and he looked SO LOST! I'm assuming he worked in the kitchen.As a very long ago, former employee Of Furr's Cafeteria and now a customer, I was shocked to see this mess and more disappointed to see that store manager NEVER once came out to see not only the salad bar mess but also to see the lack of several entrée and side dish items that were missing in several food stations.Also, it doesn't say much for a company like yours not to offer an email or fax number where you can be reached by customers. The quality of your food has gone down hill and now I'm beginning to doubt the cleanliness of your food! I just want to know why the prices are so high. Husband and I went out to the location in Plainview, Texas last week on a Monday for dinner and had no drinks with the meal only water. When we got the ticket it was 27.00, I did not review it because he paid and afterwards I asked how much so I could debit it out of our account. I just could not understand why I paid so much. My daughter has a doctor's certificate to obtain the child's plate at all eating facilities because she is not able to eat full portions. Your company doesn't allow this, but yet you have children that can eat as much as an adult. What is with this policy?

It has come to my attention that the management at the Furrs Cafeteria in McAllen Texas is having their employees work off clock. MYself, being in management and working for a rather large company understands that this is against company policy. If it happens in the company I work for it is grounds for termination. Somebody needs to look into this. Thank you
Military personnel beware! Furr's at 2004 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112 the manager Rudy and his staff has an issue with American Military. He has stated on more than one occasion how if their not Hispanic he doesn't like them in his restaurant. He and his staff has verbally put down white military in every way. We work at Furr's and the way management pushes out anyone different is wrong. Rudy is extremely racist and does not agree with American Military. Be warned if you are planning on visiting Albuquerque Furr's. This job has been very difficult to do with the management we have. We were told of we say anything we get fired!
I came here to make a comment and noticed the review on Military personal. I can see where that comes from. Management is rude and does NOT seem to care about customers. We are an elderly couple and have been coming to furs for years. We are going to goto Golden Corral from now on. The staff here are not friendly and the food is often cold. Our watress took our reciept and argued with us that we did not pay. She also said my husband is to old to remember. The manager wore glasses a large man argured and said we had to leave. My daughter and her husband showed them the bank app that showed time and amount still in processing and then the lady at the register was finally asked and she said yes they did pay. My Son in law who is a lawyer said he believed they were being racist. I do not know one thing i do know is i will never go here again.
Ok, my mom, my oldest brother and I went on 12-10-2016 to the Furrs in Sulfur Springs Texas and was ok nothing to write home about, the desert we ate was coconut pie, man on man I ate 2 bites that was enough it had not to good of a taste, Now here comes the dream Killer, as my mom was getting a straw for the holder which was a plastic cup, a Roach came out with the straw, the cashier through the cup and straws in the trash, ok now we are at the table and was eating AS I looked over to the booth across from us What did I see another Roach roaming around on top of the TABLE, I didn't even go to bathroom, the place looked as if they didn't shout the store down to do a thorough cleaning and an extermination, yea I would rather you shout down than let your customers SEE Roachs running, that's a deal breaker, My mom and I went back to Sulfur Springs, to see her brother in the hospital, when we left the hospital I asked her where do you want to eat she said NOT Furrs, let's eat at the Chinese place, that's my story, Furrs U C U Lost A Customer, thanks but no thanks
My Husband and I ate at the Furrs in Garland TX on 03/25/2017. The front manager was very rude and she refused to wait on us. Furrs sends out email's with these great coupons deals. My Husband and I wanted to take advantage of this deal, but when I got up to the counter, I was unable to open the email that was sent to me from Furrs. I showed the manager the email which was clearly dated 03/27, but because I couldn't open the email she refused to give me the deal even thou the heading of the email stated "2 can dine for $18.99". We were sitting at the table and I was able to open the email that Furrs send too me at work. I asked my husband to go back up to the counter and show them the coupon and get a refund. My Husband said that when he got to the counter the manager refused to wait on him. It took us almost 25 min to get them to honor that coupon. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT THERE.
Car was broken into at the san antonio,tx location and the managers are aware of all the break ins and fail to get good surveillance camera's or security.
Someone needs to come to plainview tx and tell the managers how to talk to their employees I know the name of the manager his name is Tim I don't like the way he talks to his employees I think its not right while people on in the line I will call the office in the morning I'm very disappointed in the way y'all hire y'alls manager's and they think they are god and can treat there workers anyway they please.
