Fiesta Mart Home Office - Cashier Failed to Package Give me My Entire Holiday Grilling Meats

Rated 1.0 out of 5
September 5, 2023

At store #60, 9/3/2023 @4:09 PM, Cashier checker Ricki did not give me all of my food at checkout. I live about 15 minutes away. Upon arrival home, I discovered the missing items and immediately called the store. There person who answered the phone was rude and kept insisting that I, the customer, FORGOT to get my food. I corrected her and explained that I did not forget, it was the cashier who failed to provide the items purchased. She kept antagonizing me by saying, The food you FORGOT. She instructed me to return to the store with a receipt. I was assisted by Kathy acted as if I was lying about the missing items. She said that she had to get another manager because it was “a lot”. She reached out to Manager Marlene, who called Ricki and said that Ricki did not remember. Marlene said that therefore she would have to turn the issue over to loss prevention because again, it’s a lot. She requested my email for loss prevention. I was calm but quite upset. It was the last holiday of the summer, I had just spent $141 in the store, guests were arriving and I had no more money for food. I asked if they could watch the cameras to confirm and she offered no recourse at all. For the record, I am missing 6 items out of 20 including my shrimp, ribs, and TACO meat…. all of the main courses of my holiday gathering menu. I had to borrow money to more food and ran so late. I am requesting to be made whole for the price of my food that I did not receive, the additional money that I borrowed to obtain new food items, AND gas money to return to FIESTA upon instruction and to no avail. This experience was awful!! Attached is my receipt, the items with an X beside them are the missing items.
