  1. My 81 year old mom has an account with Farmers in Thomaston, Ga. She had been sick and was going to miss one payment in a year. They said she would have to pay an extra $25.00 every time she made her payment from them on. Horrible. I will no longer let her buy anything else from there. Elderly people on a fixed income shop there and trouble does come along. Shame on you all.

  2. I bought a fridge and a recliner from Farmers in Monroe,Ga.
    I have had the recliner for right at 4 years. It is falling apart around me, This chair has never be slept in or treated bad. I have had to put boards in the back to sure it up. I did contact the local store, There response was what you want us to do about it, This chair should last longer than 4 years.I will not go to farmers ever again.

I have been customer of farmers for quiet a few years I bought a stove from them they refused to fix it stopped paying til stove was fixed now they want me to pay all back payments I resumed normal payment kept getting repatriation calls day and night and even calling my job and references and even family members not on my list now am letting them take stuff back but according to them everything I have paid on for past few years has to go back i have not paid for one single thing in 5 years I have been paying

  4. Buyer beware of farmers furniture especially Covington Georgia. Sorry furniture management and staff will lie to get your money and not carry through with their promises. Treat the elderly and disable veterans very disrespectful especially after they get their money.

    1. The management staff at the Hinesville Ga. Farmer store is very rude and unprofessional. I feel like they are in need of training, when you a just a total the taxes should be adjusted too. The reply I got was, well she give you the delivery fee and insurance and the sale price of the adjustment back. Once you a just the merchandise total your taxes are adjusted too. The art of customer service has gone down hill. We as consumers work hard to shop at your businesses , but this is making it hard to do so. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

  6. BOUGHT AND PAID CASH TODAY FOR FURNITURE NO DELIVERY LADY SAID MOVERS WERE OFF BUT THEY WERE IN THE STORE THE MOVING TRUCK WAS PARKED IN LOT WHERE IT HAD BEEN FOR MORE THAN A DAY NO MANAGER NO HELP POOR SERVICE

  7. Former employee at farmer's furniture. I had a good relationship with everyone until I figured out what the politics of working with lazy and carefree warehouse workers entailed. I did my best to work hard but working with people that don't care is unbearable to me. No job should be like that. There were people that really put their heart into their jobs but the warehouse crew just didn't give a dam.

  8. I BEEN TALKED TO THE FARMER FURNITURE ABOUT MY BILL AND THEY CALL ME 4 TO 5 TIMES A DAY AND MY FAMILY. I TOLD THEM THAT I AM NOT ABLE TO PAY MY BILL. I AM IN A HARD SHIP AND THEY TOLD ME TO PAY OR THEY WILL DO LEGAL ACTION AND I HAVE BEEN CALLING THE LOCAL OFFICE STAFF . ABOUT MY SITUATION AND ASKED THEM TO PICK THE ITEMS UP AND THEY SID NO WE DON'T DO REPOS

  9. I am Dion Boutwell of Hawkinsville, Ga, I bought a Yard Machine mower last year
    from Farmers Furniture here. I told them when I got it the machine was a lemon,
    they should take it back, they said no they could get it going. Two weeks ago I was cutting grass when a spring broke, it still run but very slow. I called Farmers
    was told it would have to be picked up. It has now been 2 weeks tomorrow, all it
    needs is a spring, and the repair person it was took to knows this and is machini lot of money off this.
    Now I would like a new mower a Snapper Or Toro, y'all can keep the Yard Machine.
    if a mower is like this it should be taken back and a new one put in its place
    It just amazing that no one at Farmers could put a spring on the mower, there are
    2 friends of mine that said they could put it on if Farmers would supply the spring
    I am not making a payment until this is taken care of I WANT A NEW MOWER!!

  10. I bought a Polan Pro lawnmower from farmers in Clanton Ala and I’ve not had it a year and it’s been in the shop more then it has been in my yard. Every time it messes up they send it to be fixed and the shop never fixes what is wrong with it. It’s in the shop now been there almost a month and they still have not fixed the right thing yet. And plus the farmers where I live don’t carry that lawnmower anymore so I just want them to trade my lawnmower for another one is all. But I keep getting the run around about it. I’m get sick and tried of all the bullshit

  11. I have bought furniture from the Conway, SC location several times and I never will again. I wanted to buy a fridge and pay in full and they told me that I couldn't do that. they said I had to put it on an account to pay every month. They call 10 times a day and harass you when it is time to make your monthly payment. The delivery people are horrible. They busted my fridge and scraped my back door trying to get it in the house. They didn't even tell me that they busted it. I looked over it and saw it before they left. There were also dents in the side because they were in a hurry to get it done and go home. This furniture chain needs to be shut down. It is horrible. I will never buy anything else there nor will I refer anyone to them.

  12. my husband and I bought a $2000.00 dollars mattress only because it had a 15 year warranty. I had ro have them replace it because the pillow top got messed up and started bunching up on it. so after waiting 3 months they finally brought one and it was like concrete it was a $399.00 dollar mattress. I then called and spoke to the manager and she stated that she picked that one out thought I would like it. I explained to her that I wanted the same kind of mattress that I paid for so then yesterday I get home to a cheap mattress that was $500.00 dollars its so cheap I can pick it up with one hand. my husband and I bought $10,000 dollars worth of new furniture from farmers home furnishing in Haleyville al we never missed a payment and was never once late. we paid off out account 8 months ahead. so if this is how they treat there customers that are valued I will never buy from them again. so at this point I'm in the process of contacting a lawyer to see what I can get done. its a real shame that that they try to scam people like that.

  13. We purchased a stove and refrigerator from your Lawrenceburg TN store. We have had problems with the stove and when we ask about the warranty we was told to call the manufacturer, they told us that it wasn't anything they could do because it was covered under the extended warranty which We purchased because the sales person said that we would get instore credit after we paid it off if we didnt have to use it. We have gotten nothing but a run around from the store. Every week we are told that they are putting in a request but nothing ever gets done. Today we was told they they dont have a repair tech to call. We have now been paying on a stove for over a year and can't get it fixed.

Have bought many things from your Cullman, AL store, the last time was a clearance dryer with a service plan n October of 2019, im an over the road truck driver and have to make my payments over the phone, 10 months in to this and I still owe the same amount as when I bought it. Makes no sense, and when I question It I'm told the manager will have look into it and get back with me, really. We are all hardworking people trying to pay our bills and try to get ahead. I hate the idea of wondering where my money actually went, obviously it didn't get put toward dryer, are we all being scammed so you can hold onto us longer and get even more money out of us all

  15. November 05 2020 My Wife and I went to the Thompson Bridge Road Office to purchase a sofa bed and a desk. I just got out of the hospital and my wife saw the sign no credit required sign posted, decided to give them a try. We are customers of Aarons and have never been treated in such a lackadaisical and careless attitude to acquire a sale. They did a credit check on my Raymonds account without letting me know that they were doing so. The representative Diana Howell only informed me after the fact making light of it as saying it is only a soft check. Then she wanted to send me to a third party in house credit and sat down for another 15 minutes we sat there over an hour and nothing was accomplished. The Rep Diana instructed us to come back tomorrow . We were traveling home Diana called and wanted to process an online application started processing and asking for bank account information and routing number and lastly my debit card information at this time it was best not to do business with such a store that advertises one thing and does the complete opposite.

    I purchased insurance when I bought a mattress set, just in case anything was to happen to me. I was taken out of work due to covid 19 , so I was grateful for the insurance I had taken out. this insurance never made one payment, I had to go into the store tp purchase more items to keep them from coming to get my bed. Mattress was bulging , bad sagging issues, they gave me the exact same bed, my mattress was $999.00 I was told to get another set I would only get a $400.00 credit and would have to purchase another mattress set. This company is getting rich off hardships. This company is a joke, I will never purchase anything else from this company again

  17. I paid cash for an accent chair, ottoman & sofa. The sofa had to be ordered & I was told it would be here by 3/30. I wasn't going to be in my apartment by then so I paid for a storage unit rental. Should've never rented the unit -- my sofa still isn't in & I'm going on 3 months. If I don't get it by the end of the week I will demand a refund. The mgr of the Prattville Alabama store is the rudest person I have ever come in contact with. I will NEVER open the doors to that store again & am constantly warning people to stay away from them for the horrible customer service!!! Ugh....I should've stayed @ the Ashley store.

  18. I brought a $2800 lawnmower suppose to brand new. The Wallace office tried to onload a use lawnmower on me and that exactly what the did. I have had so many problems with this lawnmower for it to be brand new. The order was written up for a whole new series of lawnmower. They are saying that they cannot help me because my insurance went off in April of this year. Three months after I purchased it I had to replace the battery, then I had to replace the Carburator now the transmission is gone. Your people in Wallace got my money which I know that is all matter. But if they can lay down at night and sleep after they unloaded that used lawnmower off on me Farmer Furniture are true crooks. No there is nothing I can do about it, but I can spread the word of what they done to me and it will have impact on the business. People already is talking about the dirty deals they get there so I not so far off from having an impact. You over charge people and I know a new lawnmower would not call for the repairs I have been making. They push that used lawnmower off on me.
