  1. PUT THE DAMM DATE YOU PRINTED TAX FORMS ON THE STATEMENT!!! IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL WHICH IS THE LATEST STATEMENT YOU SEND OUT. I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO VANGUARD ABOUT THIS FOR YEARS AND AM READY TO MOVE MY ASSETS TO A COMPETITOR IF THIS DOES NOT GET RESOVLED. YOU ARE COSTING ME TIME AND MONEY (INCREASED CPA FEES) DETERMINING WHICH IS THE LATEST OF THE REVISIONS YOU PRODUCED.

  2. Very unprofessional and sarcastic customer service representatives. I called to attempt to access my account after verifying my identity online- only to come to a screen that sent a security code to a phone number I no longer have. I called and explained this to the customer service agent- who then proceeded to ask me 10 more questions to verify my identity - only to then tell me that I failed to identify myself and that inorder to gain access, I would have to pay for a letter to get notarized and mail it in to them with a signature. Then I asked if I can withdraw my funds and close the account- he was more than happy to do that and even offered to send me a check - ( ALL WOTHOUT VERIFYING WHO I WAS ) Beyond livid is an understatement.

  3. Our HOA is using a Vanguard Agent in San Jacinto/Hemet CA, area. This agent has made numerous errors in filing our paperwork to the State and has not completed completed paperwork when promised to have it done. He also does not return emails that are written to him on the progress of paperwork given to him to be completed.
    I am hoping you check on your agents because this one is very unprofessional.

  5. Very frustrated...just waited 30 minutes online to speak with an advisor and I got disconnected. Vanguard needs to do more to support their investors and feature live chat or hire more representatives! What do people want for their money - CUSTOMER SERVICE!

  6. Very difficult to get someone on the phone. I cannot get onto my account and even worse, it is saying that they do not have a record of my account. Loved Vanguard, but their website leaves a lot to be desired and is NOT user friendly.

  7. I have been on hold with "Customer Service" for an hour and a half now. I have been switched to a different department 4 times. This is unacceptable!

  8. The best way to handle the problems in this entire post, is simple close your account with this corrupted outfit, and put your investment into the competitors' account. Do not waist your time on the phones and the emails. This is chasing the wild goose with no direction as is the case of the Vanguard Group et al. Your time is your life, do not follow a wild goose...

  11. 16 days, 15 phone call 7 3/4 hrs of call time, passed from one to another, got hung up on once, have spoken to 15-16 different individuals who never give call back info or last names, was told there are no manager, no compliance office or officer, was told the problem was my ISP (not), was told there was a glitch and they were working on it........ going on 3 weeks and I don't have access to my funds. STAY AWAY, these guys remind me of Bernie M.

  12. Dear Mr. Buckley, I am at my wits end with trying to get into my account via my computer.
    I have tried many times and it continually tells me I have to call in to get access.

    So I called in, so far 4 times. Each time sitting on my ceiling phone on hold for 1.5 to 2 hours.
    I have spent a total of 6+ hours on hold with two connections. On the 1st call I told them my issue, they said I was assigned to a rep and I need to talk to them - I was put on hold after I already waited on hold for another 1.5 hours and no one came to the phone (except your friendly computer voice who kept thanking me for my patience).
    Two more calls and I sat on hold for over 1.5 for each - finally I gave up.
    This morning I decided to hold out for the call to answer. After 2 hours on hold a person came on the phone. I couldn't believe it - a real person. First thing I did was ask them to not put me on hold, all I wanted was my computer reset and giving a temp password - which she did - it was great I was finally going to get into my account.
    I went to the Vanguard site, clicked on the user name and put in the temp password and it told me I had to call Vanguard to get access. Each time I tried the system to give me access by putting in my name, ss#, zip code and birthday - the site told me my account didn't exist. Funny, when I call in with my pin number it gives me a total of my account. There is something wrong with my account online and all I am doing is trying to get into my account - seems simple -- not so much to ask from a company holding my $$.
    Your system is so frustrating, the only way to get a hold of someone to take care of simple issue is call...6 hours on hold. I am a patient person, but this is crazy. I tried to get some sort of response by going to your Facebook page - guess what I was told...call the number between 8 am and 8 pm. Seriously....I think after 6+ hours of trying to get a minor issue fixed I deserve a quick, easy response from the company and the solution.
    I am so frustrated right now all I want to do is get my $$ out of this company.
    Tell me there is an easier solution for this crazy issue.

  13. We have been calling and being put on hold for over an hour only to be disconnected. One time we got a call back and she transferred us and they hung up on us too. So total of 4 hours on hold with this company. Still no assistance provided. I thought Vanguard was a reputable company. After this experience the monies will be pulled out as soon as my lawyer gets a hold of them. Shameful.
