Valvoline Corporate Office Headquarters, Address & Phone Number

🗨  Comments

Valvoline corporate office and world headquarters are located in Lexington, Kentucky. Valvoline Inc. operates and franchises Valvoline Instant Oil Change and other automotive preventive-maintenance service centers in the United States and Canada.

Customers commonly search for the Valvoline headquarters address, corporate phone number, Customer Care, corporate complaints, claims number, email support, service records, damage-claim guidance, product support, or a way to escalate an unresolved oil-change concern. It is important to distinguish Valvoline Inc.’s service-center business from the separate Valvoline Global Operations motor-oil and automotive-products business.

Valvoline Corporate Office and Headquarters Contact Information

Important phone-number distinction: 1-800-327-8242 is the primary Valvoline Instant Oil Change Customer Care and complaint number. The separate 1-800-832-6825 number is for Valvoline Global motor oil, antifreeze, transmission fluid, lubricant, and other product questions.

Important facility distinction: The Lexington headquarters is a corporate office. It is not a public oil-change service center, repair bay, parts counter, motor-oil return center, invoice pickup location, or guaranteed walk-in claims department. Use the location finder to contact the service center involved in a transaction.

Valvoline Inc. and Valvoline Global Are Separate Businesses

The Valvoline name is used by two related but legally separate businesses. Customers should contact the correct company based on whether the concern involves a service center or a packaged automotive product.

Valvoline Inc. and Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Valvoline Inc. is the publicly traded preventive automotive-maintenance company associated with:

  • Valvoline Instant Oil Change service centers
  • Great Canadian Oil Change locations
  • Express Care service operations
  • Company-operated and franchised quick-maintenance centers
  • Oil changes and other services performed at a Valvoline location
  • Service-center complaints, receipts, customer claims, and location feedback

For an oil change, damaged vehicle, receipt, technician interaction, service record, incorrect service, location complaint, refund request, or service-center claim, contact Valvoline Instant Oil Change Customer Care at 1-800-327-8242.

Valvoline Global Operations

Valvoline Global Operations is the separate Aramco-affiliated business associated with Valvoline-branded automotive products, including:

  • Bottled motor oil
  • Antifreeze and coolant
  • Transmission fluid
  • Gear oil
  • Grease and industrial lubricants
  • Product compatibility and fitment
  • Retail product orders
  • Product technical support

A concern about a packaged Valvoline product purchased from an auto-parts store, mass merchant, online seller, distributor, or service shop should normally be directed to Valvoline Global rather than Valvoline Instant Oil Change Customer Care.

How to Contact Valvoline Instant Oil Change Customer Care

Valvoline Instant Oil Change provides telephone, live-chat, and online written support for service-center questions and complaints.

  • Telephone: 1-800-FAST-CHANGE or 1-800-327-8242
  • Telephone hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. ET; Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. ET; except holidays
  • Live chat: Available through the official contact page during published support hours
  • Written message: Use the email form on the official contact page
  • Expected form-response time: Approximately 24–48 hours

The phrase “800-327-8242 email” can be confusing. 1-800-327-8242 is a telephone number, not an email address. For written support, use the official Customer Care email form rather than attempting to send a message to the phone number.

How to Escalate a Valvoline Corporate Complaint

  1. Contact the location involved. Ask for the service-center manager and explain the concern as soon as possible.
  2. Determine whether the center is company-operated or franchised. A franchised center may be operated by an independent legal entity, although it uses the Valvoline Instant Oil Change brand.
  3. Keep the service documentation. Save the invoice, service date, store address, mileage, vehicle information, recommendations, declined services, payment record, and names or roles of employees contacted.
  4. Document any alleged damage. Take photographs and videos, obtain an independent diagnosis, retain towing and rental receipts, and preserve removed or failed parts when possible.
  5. Contact Customer Care. Call 1-800-327-8242, use live chat, or submit the official contact form.
  6. Ask for a case or claim number. Use the same number during every follow-up contact.
  7. State the requested outcome. Examples include a refund review, corrected service record, repair-cost review, reimbursement review, written claim decision, manager contact, or explanation of a denial.
  8. Keep a dated contact log. Record the representative, date, time, promise, deadline, and result of each conversation.

If the issue is unresolved and written correspondence is necessary, first ask Customer Care to confirm the correct mailing address and department. Do not assume that sending documents to the physical corporate headquarters will automatically route them to the correct claims or Customer Care team.

Valvoline Claims and Vehicle-Damage Complaints

Valvoline does not currently publish a separate public claims telephone number. Customers reporting alleged damage or a service error should contact Customer Care at 1-800-327-8242 and ask that a case or claim be opened.

Potential service-related complaints may involve:

  • An oil leak after service
  • A loose, stripped, cross-threaded, or over-tightened drain plug
  • A cracked filter housing
  • An incorrectly installed oil, air, or cabin filter
  • Incorrect motor oil or fluid
  • Too much or too little fluid
  • A missing cap, cover, shield, fastener, or component
  • Engine, transmission, differential, cooling-system, or air-conditioning concerns
  • A warning light appearing after service
  • Damage allegedly occurring while the vehicle was in a service bay
  • A towing, rental-car, repair, or diagnostic expense
  • A delayed or denied claim

What to Do Immediately After a Possible Service Error

If an oil warning, low-fluid warning, overheating condition, major leak, unusual noise, smoke, loss of steering, brake concern, or other potentially serious condition appears after service, stop operating the vehicle when it is safe to do so. Driving a vehicle with inadequate oil or fluid can worsen damage and complicate the investigation.

Record the following before repairs are made when practical:

  • Dashboard warning lights
  • Fluid on the driveway or under the vehicle
  • Oil or fluid level
  • Visible loose or damaged components
  • Current mileage
  • Date and time the problem began
  • Towing destination
  • Statements made by the service center or inspecting mechanic

Obtain an itemized written diagnosis and estimate from a qualified repair facility. Ask the facility to photograph the problem and retain failed or removed parts when possible. Do not delay an emergency repair when delay would create a safety hazard or cause additional damage.

If a Valvoline Claim Is Denied

Ask for the claim decision and reason in writing. Confirm what evidence was reviewed, such as the service invoice, technician notes, service-bay video, photographs, inspection results, or maintenance history.

Keep copies of all records and note any response or appeal deadline. A denied claim does not by itself establish whether the service center caused the loss. Liability can depend on the evidence, vehicle condition, service history, timing, diagnosis, contractual terms, and applicable law.

How to Get a Valvoline Receipt or Service History

Customers seeking an invoice, receipt, or service-history record should begin with the Valvoline location that performed the work.

  • Contact the store directly
  • Use the Valvoline Customer Care email form
  • Use live chat
  • Call Customer Care at 1-800-327-8242

Invoice requests may take up to approximately 24 hours. Provide the service location, date, vehicle information, name used for the transaction, and a safe email or mailing address.

Do not post a complete invoice publicly. Receipts may contain a full name, partial payment-card number, VIN, license plate, telephone number, email address, customer number, or other private information.

Valvoline Pricing, Coupons, and Refund Questions

Valvoline service prices can vary by location, vehicle, oil capacity, selected oil, service type, local market, taxes, environmental fees, and whether the center is company-operated or franchised.

Before authorizing a service:

  • Ask for the total price
  • Confirm how many quarts are included
  • Ask whether additional-quart charges apply
  • Present the coupon before payment
  • Ask which services are recommended versus required
  • Confirm whether the location accepts the specific coupon

Refund requests should normally begin with the service-center manager. If the manager does not resolve the concern, contact Customer Care and provide the invoice, payment amount, store, service date, and reason for requesting a refund.

Valvoline Human Resources and Careers

Valvoline does not currently publish a dedicated general Human Resources telephone number for public customer use on its main Customer Care page.

  • Valvoline Inc. jobs: Valvoline Instant Oil Change careers
  • Corporate and service-center opportunities: Search through the official Valvoline careers site
  • Current employees: Use the internal manager, payroll, benefits, employee-relations, or HR contact supplied by the employer
  • Corporate routing: Call 1-859-357-7777 and ask whether the corporate switchboard can direct the inquiry

The corporate number should not be described as a verified direct HR line. Applicants should confirm that a position appears on an official Valvoline careers website before providing sensitive information.

Do not send Social Security numbers, banking information, identification documents, passwords, or payment to an unverified recruiter or social-media account.

Valvoline Ownership, Leadership, and Operating Status

Valvoline Inc. is an active publicly traded automotive preventive-maintenance company.

  • Company: Valvoline Inc.
  • Stock exchange and ticker: New York Stock Exchange, VVV
  • President and CEO: Lori Flees
  • Parent company: None; Valvoline Inc. is publicly traded
  • Headquarters: Lexington, Kentucky
  • Operating status: Active
  • Current network: Approximately 2,400 franchised and company-operated service centers in the United States and Canada

Valvoline Global Operations is a separate automotive-products business affiliated with Aramco. Its President and CEO is Jamal K. Muashsher.

Valvoline Inc. and Valvoline Global Operations share aspects of the Valvoline brand but operate different businesses, websites, support systems, and customer-service telephone numbers.

Company-Owned and Franchised Valvoline Locations

Some Valvoline Instant Oil Change locations are operated directly by Valvoline Inc., while others are operated by independent franchisees. A branded sign does not necessarily mean the location is owned by the public company.

When filing a complaint, ask:

  • Is this center company-operated or franchised?
  • What is the franchisee’s legal business name?
  • Who owns and maintains the service records?
  • Who reviews refunds and vehicle-damage claims?
  • Who issued the invoice and processed the payment?
  • Who carries the applicable liability insurance?

Valvoline Customer Care may assist with documenting and routing a complaint, but an independent franchisee may also need to participate in the investigation or resolution.

Valvoline Reviews and Complaints

Current visible CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com reader submissions include individual experiences involving:

  • A transmission complaint alleging that the correct fluid level was not restored and that a later claim was denied
  • A Dothan, Alabama complaint alleging that a cabin filter was installed incorrectly and that an air-conditioning problem followed
  • A complaint alleging that an over-tightened oil filter caused a cracked housing and left the customer without a vehicle
  • Concerns about delays involving estimates, repairs, and rental-car approval
  • A complaint about being unable to obtain a paper receipt because a store printer was reportedly broken
  • A positive Seaside, Oregon review praising employees who checked the oil and helped reassure a customer about a warning light

These are individual reader-submitted accounts and have not been independently verified by CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com. They do not establish that every Valvoline location, technician, manager, franchisee, service, or claim has the same outcome.

Experiences can vary according to location ownership, staffing, vehicle condition, maintenance history, service selected, technician actions, documentation, diagnosis, claim evidence, and how quickly the matter is reported.

Valvoline Competitors

Valvoline Instant Oil Change competes with quick-lube chains, tire and automotive-service companies, dealerships, repair shops, mobile maintenance providers, and independent service centers.

Valvoline Transmission Failure and Unresolved Customer Service

May 14, 2025

Valvoline, Transmission Failure! I put in a claim, and I was denied because of the timing of the transmission change but your store didn’t put back all the transmission fluid back in the transmission. Why is it Valvoline doesn’t own up to the mistakes? I’m now out of a vehicle and could be soon out of a job because the fluids weren’t top off. I will share my documents and photo with my lawyer.

Valvoline Dothan AL

October 25, 2024

Valvoline, Quality control (Or Lack Therof). On 10/07/24, while performing an oil change, the Dothan, Alabama Valvoline Instant Oil Change manager removed several large portions of the dash removing the cabin air filter in my BMW 330i sedan. Problems with my A/C unit began immediately so I returned the next day when I had time to spare. The manager seemed content having no solution and provided no further instructions on the complaint process. I immediately went to a European mechanic shop and they diagnosed that the cabin filter was installed incorrectly causing the interruption in the ac system. The receipt and description of this diagnoses was provided to Valvoline customer care through my claim process. The manager denied the claim (about himself) and denies any and all responsibility claiming the filter was removed and replaced correctly. I explained to him that BMW systems have many variables and components and neither of us can explain fully how this ac unit works so yes his process can and has caused this issue. The workers were zip tying their shoes together by the shoe laces being unprofessional during my car service and I had to point it out to this manager. Bottom line is I went in for an routine oil change and left without my air conditioning and it’s costing me in more ways than one. No offering a refund of my oil change, no back up on minimal necessary repairs needed by the official BMW dealership which is a must at this point. Valued customers should be given the benefit of the doubt because it can build trust and loyalty, which can lead to long-term business success. We aren’t all… out to get somebody else to pay for something, we’re just trying to get our oil changed on our lunch break.

Valvoline Disappointing Customer Service

August 26, 2024

Valvoline, cracked oil housing. My oil filter was tightened so tight that it cracked my oil housing. Even severing the oil gasket. Amanda the manager explained how the filter was probably “over torqued”. Needless to say, that was last Wednesday 08/21/24 and I’m still without a vehicle as they are calling around looking for “quotes” on my vehicle. I called for a rental vehicle and was told I’d need to pay $70 a day and that they would have to put a request in the see if it would be approved. It’s now 08/25/24 and I’m going into the work week without a vehicle still. I have never spent $98 on a service just to be put in the hole so much.

Valvoline Customer Service Issue

May 30, 2024

“No receipt, without email” I was asked if I wanted the receipt emailed, I said no thanks. After paying the $150.00 bill, I asked for a receipt to be told they only email them. I stated I don’t have an email account , then was told.. well, our printer is broken.

Great job!… I won’t be back.

great service from Valvoline in Oregon - 5 Star Review

August 21, 2023

I was on the way home from a vacation at the beach with my 90-year-old mother in the car, when my oil light started flickering. I pulled into Your Valvoline site in Seaside Oregon. Anthony came out to help me. He explained that it was probably a fuse that was bad not the oil. He checked my oil and added a little as i was a little low. He also had the assistant manager Deon come over and give me his opinion as I was really nervous to drive on one-lane roads for 50 miles with my oil light on. I am happy to say that I got home with no problems took my car to my mechanic and he fixed the fuse and all is well again. The customer service given to me on Saturday 08/19/2023 was like nothing I have seen in recent years. I really think they should be acknowledged for their customer service.
