  1. This is the review I am plastering over the entire internet regarding your spring valley location.

Jefferson Dental Clinic on Spring Valley is the worst place I have ever been to in my life. The staff is beyond rude. The Dentists are ghetto hacks! It took 2 solid hours for them to do x-rays only. Then I had an abscessed tooth that was causing me major pain. The only option the said was to extract it. Infact this is the only option the ever give. The office manager or the hideous lady who does the consultations insulted me and said I had poor hygiene which is why I had teeth problems. The little old lady asian dentist had the bed side manner of a prison guard. I called back 3 days later to see if I could get the tooth delt with and got the evil consultation lady on the phone. She was again very rude to me. The earliest they could schedule me was 3 days away and thru the weekend. I asked if they could refill my pain meds to get thru till I could get in to see them. She said she checked with the doctor, which Im sure she didnt and said they would not refill it. They only refill meds to patients who committ to an appt. I told her I had an appt on Monday and she said we are not refilling it.
While I was there also, they would not let my daughter sit next to me in the dental chair. She had to sit in the office in a uncomfortable chair for a 2 yr old and my child is 8. I am utterly appalled at the rudeness, the inability of the staff and dentists and the utter refusal to accommodate clients. The people and facility is the epitome of ghetto. BE AWARE - RUN FAR AWAY! Throw a rock at any other dentist and it will be better than this place. Now I have to go through the entire weekend in pain because the staff and dentists could care less about their patients.

    1. I’m very disappointed in the service I have gotten the two times I have been to Jefferson Dental. I went in for a cleaning, filings and had a crown done and I have had one issue after another since. My crown has fell out twice and part of my tooth chipped. This last time I went in after the consultation I was quoted one price and when I went back to finish my procedure they told me I had to pay additional amount that was not told me before. I called corporate multiple times and they said they would reach out and did not and when I called back either I got hung up on or they would say someone will reach out to me and has not ..and never call back But it’s OK I’m gonna now it’s time to tell everyone who is Jefferson dental 🦷 is.. I will be posting all over the media and Internet I cannot wait after six months...

    2. I had 2 horrible experiences with the one on Pioneer in Grand Prairie! Unprofessionalism, unhygienic, over-medicated me, and tried to extract my tooth even though it was infected and caused horrible pain when they tried to pull it out. This place is awful. I will never return!

  2. I am writing concerning the treatment that I received in your Grand Prairie location. I had an extraction on the 28th here I am exactly one week later and in extreme pain. I went to back the same clinic to get a reevaluated and set there for an hour and was told that the dentist was not available. They are the ones that scheduled me at 8am. I was sent to a second location that was 15 minutes away so now I wasting time and gas. I was saw by another dentist who stated that I had dry socket. So in order to treat it I would have to pay 40.00. That is there mistake. I was not given any direction on how to take care of dry socket. I did everything that was directed by the pink slip from my first visit. So after seeing second doctor I was told I need to go back over to my first dentist again. Now more time and gas to end up where I started in the first place. As I am sitting here they asked what brings me in today. Do you people not take notes.
I had to explain whole story again while sitting get in pain.

    1. Now I get back to the original dentist. Told my whole story in pain again. Then the dentist comes in tells me my mouth is infected. I said then why was I told I had dry socket from your other location. The dentist said that the second dentist was wrong. Who do I believe?

  4. I am writing about the treatment or lack thereof at your Edgebrook location in Houston on 01/2/16. My husband had an appointment for a major procedure at 11 a.m. Since we were going to be there, I asked if my son and I could be fit in for a x-ray and cleaning. My husband has insurance and HRA that would fund his procedure, but I nor my son have dental coverage at this time. I explained that we would be paying out of pocket and if there was anything major, I would have to reschedule but that we would be getting the cleaning and x-ray’s at the very least. I had no cavities but was informed due to my coffee stain that I would need a deep cleaning that was just over $550. I told them I would come back at a later time for a deep clean, but I just wanted a standard cleaning today since I was 2 months overdue and they refused. They said that they would only do the deep cleaning and not a cleaning. My son had a cavity which we had filled and they cleaned his teeth for $150, we had $2500 worth of treatment for my husband and did not leave until 5 p.m. I am appalled that I would be turned down for a cleaning and spent the whole day on Saturday sitting in the lobby. This is a scam to make people finance procedures and I will be notifying the BBB because you are supposed to be in the business of helping people maintain healthy teeth and gums, not make them wait until they can afford to come in for a procedure they don’t need. Also the staff was rude, the payment specialist made me wait for 45 min just to tell me they would not clean my teeth unless I recieved the "Recommended" treatment. Very sad that you would call yourselves a Dental Clinic, because you are only in it give poor service and rip people off.

  5. I'm an employee and I'm miserable the coordinator is lazy and she's very condescending. I had to clean all the rooms and follow the Dr for all the procedures she didn't even help. The Dr. Is in and out and I didn't even have time to really speak with the patient.

  6. I went to the Garland, Tx. clinic with a dental emergency. I had lost a crown and needed it replaced. My regular dentist's office was closed that day. I told them that I did not want whole mouth x rays or a complete exam but that I only needed to tend to the one crown.
When they began to take all x rays I should have left but I was in a precarious situation. I needed help as soon as possible. After all the x rays, I was escorted to a small room where I was presented with a full review of every type of procedure I could dream of. I was pressured and demeaned. The young women was robot-like. I believe that is a high pressure tactic. The price I was presented just for a temporary crown was way too high, I have had a lot of dental work, even recently enough to know a fair price. Lastly, when I asked for a copy of my x rays I was told I would have to pay for them! That is not a common practice. My insurance paid for those. Worst experience ever!! By the way, the next day I went to my regular dentist the next day. He x rayed the one tooth, and no I did not need the root canal and rebuild that was I was told at Jefferson. The cost for office visit, temporary crown and permanent crown was literally HALF the cost of Jefferson Dental.

  8. I am about to complain about Jefferson Dental. Some of you may have seen my video about how they messed up my tooth on February 13. Root Canal gone wrong! I still have their endodontic file in my root. I did not have a toothache, yet now since that day I do. Advil is happy since that means daily pills for pain. Today would be appointment 5, YES, I am here AGAIN when I should be at work. This means loss of pay for me. Guys I really need your input on this. Do you think I should pay for the first appointment/ services and all others that have to do with this situation while they fix it?? Duncanville, TX

  9. I went to the Jefferson Dental clinic on HWY 529 in Houston and the office manager charged me $1000.00 for services before verifying my insurance and didn't submit the full claim to my insurance company. The office manager took it upon himself to know what my insurance company would pay and would not pay for in which, I and the Insurance company asked the office manager to submit the full claim and he continue to decline to submit the claim to see if the insurance company would pay. After almost an hour of excuses from the office manager he finally agreed to submit the claim in which the insurance company had agree to pay for the claim in which it has been 1 month since that date and i still haven't received my $10000.00 refund from Jefferson Dental. I consider this to be deceptive billing and fraud for i was billed before my insurance was even considered.I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and The American Medical Board. I am also preparing to file a legal complaint against this company to obtain my full refund.

  10. Jefferson Dental is an establishment that needs to inquire on training and professionalism for their staff. They have long wait times, you will wait at least a hour before you are called to back. On the other hand, when I scheduled appointment I told them I was expecting, however I’m seeking a routine cleaning. I had a medical clearance faxed over, so I can receive the service. When I arrived at the location I asked the lady at the front desk is everything ok with my medical clearance for a cleaning, she stated “yes!” After, patiently waiting for a hour they called me back. Not even examining my teeth they told me they can’t do anything. I’m appalled! The staff knew I was expecting when they received my documentation and when I arrive, but still allowed me to stay there over an hour. I will not be back. A total waist of time. I would not recommend Jefferson Dental. Not only that I received 4 root canals that Display dark areas on my x rays from previous work that your dentist provided. The crazy part is every since the work has been completed the dark spots have shown up on my X-rays . Now I have to go to a specialist to get them fixed because your staff can’t fix what they’ve ruined.

  11. I have been waiting for the clinic to call me for an appointment for a denture fitting a month ago and not having heard from them I called them to be informed that all the clinics were closed due to a system problems. Since then I've called every week to check on the status as I am concerned since no official notice was given to patients through the answering service. This is extremely frustrating and concerning as the company did not issue an official notice of the closing, just through the answering service. I have left messages for the clinic to please return my call and officially explain to me what's happening as I am very, very worried as not being formally informed with assurance of the stability of Jefferson' clinic. You so often hear of companies closing and living clients to fend for themselves. I believe the procedure of advising patients has been so unprofessional and lack of
consideration to its patients. Every time I called I left my name and phone # for someone at the clinic to call me and explain to me what are their plans of handling the patients treatment. No one ever called and today I called again to check on the status and was told that she could make an appointment. This called was at 11:00 and she gave me an appointment at 2:00 and I asked her to ask the clinic to call me to confirm as I live far away. She assured she was sending the information to the clinic immediately. 1:00 p.m. came and having not heard from the clinic, I called again and explained that I was waiting for a confirmation, she went ahead an assured me she would immediately send an e-mail to the clinic and someone would call me to confirm. Now I'm at home and its 2:00 p.m. no call!!!!!????? Why hasn't the company bought some cheap phone numbers to at least answer calls from patients for assurance. This is truly, truly terrible....waiting for so long... So WHAT TO DO NOW!!!! PLEASE SOMEONE CALL ME.

  12. This is a n extremely unprofessional clinic and is the Goodwill of dentistry. I have lost weight and I'm having health issues because of the clinics inability to correspond with their lab. I have paid in full nearly $3000 and they continuously cancel my appointments saying the dentist is coming in that day or that my partials have not arrived after 3 weeks OR that they are unsatisfactory. Voice cancel the day before my appointment and I cannot eat.

  13. I am so disappointed in this repeated cancellation. I am going to assume that you are ready to engage in a malpractice issue. I have contacted the corporate office and I'm still getting the runaround. This is my teeth

  15. I spent $6000.00 on 4 front teeth implants in 2018 I had a sizzure and broke them. I went back to replace them I was quoted $2000.00 came back with the money and was wondering old it was now $4000.00, again got the money together and again told a new price not $6000.00. I paid got them done they had me sign a document saying I accept and am satisfied with them. I came back for a follow-up l, they insisted I buy a custom mouth guard for $300.00 I said no thanks I didn't use one with the first set that lasted 3 yrs. Office staff typed up a letter to sign relieving them of responsibility for dental failure, I didn't get to see the dentist for the follow up they just wanted my signature which I did not give. 2months and they are wiggling, so I called made an appointment when I got there the presented me with a form she said it was only acceptance of service to he is rendered, I noticed there was another form behind it with the signature line sticking out as if it was the first page so I started reading it, office gal kept saying I didn't need to read it, I did and she kept rushing me to sign. It basically said I accept full responsibility for the failing implants and I'm pleased with the work done that day, I was like NO I'm not signing something that has not taken place yet. What do you know the dentists having issues with patient before me. I sat there for 3hrs. I left and rescheduled. We will see. I said I had no problem signing after I'm satisfied not before! Underhanded, sneaky snake on the grass ethics. Let's see what happens when I go back.

  17. Your Katy, TX location already has had all of its employees let go and replaced. This tells me you have a management problem because it is no better than the first group. My son now has waited nearly 2 years for someone to OK a deep cleaning. Wrap your head around that. A DEEP CLEANING. The first group that failed to do anything never contacted his insurance company and it was a complete failure. The new group still has not done so after nearly 6 months. I tried to call the location and got nothing but attitude and when their manager finally called me, I can see why the employees give it. They mirror HER attitude. This is the same group that when I went in last year when Covid was fairly new, my sons were called in for an appointment that had been changed since Covid started. They never called any of the patients and informed them that THOSE appointments also had been cancelled and we found out BOTH TIMES by showing up to the appointments and being told only then. The 2nd time, the ONLY ones in the front room were myself, my wife and my kids. I was attempting to get the inept front desk person to find out if they at least had contacted at that time the insurance company to OK the deep cleaning, and she looked it up and stated they had NOT EVEN CONTACTED THE INSURANCE COMPANY. This must have been Feb of 2020 and he already had been waiting 6 months. When I asked to speak to a manager, the manager came out and the first thing she said was "two people have to go outside, only two are allowed in here at one time". She did not even stop to think we are a FAMILY and therefore that is NOT any rule as we LIVE TOGETHER, but she continued to aggressively tell me that two people needed to leave the front and go outside where it was literally ice cold and raining so that she can tell us how pathetically inept this "new group" is and nothing different than the old group. Fast forward, April of 2021. My son still has not been OK'd for a deep cleaning and nothing has really been done concerning his dental care except charging us for visits while they mess around with his teeth and bank money. Now these cowards hide behind their employees. Their best response to treating their customers like trash is "find a new dentist".

    ReplyDelete
  18. How do you hide behind your employees like cowards and not address issues your people cause and expect that people will just go away? The Katy office can't answer their phone. The service that answers them says THEY have a hard time reaching that location. When I finally get someone there, they are rude, uneducated, childish, and ignorant. I simply asked to speak to a manager and told them the basics and they sat there and played gatekeeper and made up trash as I understandably got more upset that they refused to let me speak to someone, she escalates it talking over me and then cries that I'm "raising my voice" as she continues to talk over me with excuses for why I can't talk to someone. I talked to the "call center" over two hours prior and there I am at 10 minutes til 5 PM and nobody returned my call. You can not run a business by evading phone calls and issues.

  19. Yes I have been going to your Walzem location in San Antonio Texas. It has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a dental office. The first dentist I had removed all my upper teeth fracturing bones throughout my mouth. The last dentist if a little better they remove bottom teeth without fracturing my bones. But however I am still unable to get my parcel and my upper denture because no one seems to know how to take imprint for my dentures. Tried to put the wax mold in my mouth that was taken supposedly of my mouth. The wax imprint of my dentures what's so large it would not fit in my mouth what I told the dentist that it was too large too bulky the fit in my mouth because I could not even close my mouth the dentist became upset because I was not able to close my mouth decided to reschedule me for the 4th time to get my imprint I was scheduled three times where I waited almost 4 hours never saw the dentist they were overbooked understaffed it was one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had. When I sewed the second dentist buy broken bones in my mouth she said it was common they're six months I still don't have my dentures they are still rescheduling me over and over again I want to change dentist but I don't know if I can that they have already been paid to do my work please don't go here
