  1. Hello,

I have a complaint to make. Last year I bought a pair of sandals in VA. and soon after purchasing them, they started coming apart. I went back to Bass outlet and was able to exchange them. Now I have worn this for a short period of time, and I loved them. Those came apart as well, but my husband was able to glue them back so I could wear them. Now,I just put them on this year for the first time and wore them two days and now they have come apart in a different location and don't know that this can be fixed. Any suggestions for me? I am surprised that these shoes that are suppost to be such good quality would be so inferior.

I would be willing to send them to you so you could see them, and I may even have the receipt for them.

Please let me know what I can do about this.

    Sincerely,

    Geneva Nolin

  2. I purchased two pair of BASS shoes on 12/4/2012 at the BASS STORE in Laughlin, NV. These were a Christmas gift for my adult son. One pair has SPLIT OPEN on the SOLE over 5 1/2 inches on left and 2 inches on the right foot. I have contacted the company about replacement, I am waiting for their reply. Sincerely Janet Blau

  3. Bass should look at how they treat their long time employees. Bass should promote within instead they hire outside of the company and skip over those who work hard and deserve it!

  6. I am really unhappy with your customer service. I bought a pair of black patent Weejuns from Macy's. I had them for 3 and a half months and one of the shoes came apart at the top. Macy's will not exchange them because it has been too long, and they shouldn't have too anyway. I called your customer service line and was told they will not do anything about it because I the shoes were not purchased directly from you. I love your shoes, I have several pairs, but you should have made it right. This is not a cheap pair of shoes and they should have lasted longer. I will not buy another pair.

  7. MY Great Grandfather, Grandmother, and numerous other relatives worked at the Bass Shoe Co. in Wilton Me. and I am sure that they would be ashamed of the quality of the shoe being sold now.

  8. I bought a pair of Bass shoes and they came apart completely while on a business trip where 6800 of my associates were attending. I have pictures, is there any recourse?

  9. I work at a G.H. Bass & Co. store. Store 4488 to be exact. The management is very rude, and do NOT treat employees well. One employee had a short term memory issue. The head manager told him to do something and then made the comment "Can you remember that?" and looked at him like he was a little kid. Another employee, who has worked there longer than the head manager, also is in college. The employee needed to leave early because of a 50 page paper due the next day at midnight. The head manager pulled the employee to the back stock room and explained to the employee "You are making your problems, my problems". Ever since that, I have not seen than employee since. Another employee who was working so hard to fold all of the shirts perfectly even just finished re-folding FOUR WHOLE TABLES of shirts. The employee decides to help another employee with re-organizing shirts hanging on a wall. They stop for a second to grab another load of shirts, while they are doing that, they are talking. The manager walks up to them and says, "I don't mean to be an a**hole but this is why you two can't work together, because all you two do is stand around and talk." Clearly, that was not what was happening. I am highly disappointed with the management at this store. I really hope that other stores are not like this.

  10. I have over 30 pairs of bass loafers. I’ve been a very loyal customer and this is the first time I’ve any type of problems with my shoes. Some of my loafers are over 5yrs old and still look new. This has to be defective the top right shoe has come apart along the stitching about 3”. I’ve tried to return them but I don’t have the order number and no one seems able to fine it. I some times use guest checkout, which I never will again. I hope you will replace the defective shoes

  11. Unbelieveable. Ordered 2 pairs of sandals. For 5 days I would check the tracking number and was told they would be delivered that day and they never were. Finally I call customer service and am told that there appears to be some problem with my local postoffice. I explain at the time I ordered from Bass I also bought items from other vendors which I received no problem. I told the girl I wanted my money back. She refused to refund my money and claimed I had to fill out an insurance form and then wait a couple of weeks for a refund. I google your corporate office and gave them a call wanting to explain to someone why you've lost a customer and was told by the switchboard that unless I have a name they do not transfer calls and do not take messages. When I said this was ridiculous she called me an idiot.
