  1. On 3-5-14 @ store # 457 a former employee was being yelled at by another shift leader in front of customers the gm manager seems to feel like it is ok for that to happen it is not professional nor does show proper conduct of business the gm seems to favor certain employees over others and does not take the time to correct the management issues it seems that it is ok for shift leaders and managers to yell and treat other employees like they are dirt

  2. why don't you send an undercover boss in the Love's in Ottawa. The managers don't hold some of the younger employee's accountable for the job duties while others have to pick up after them. I am a trucker and I can see a couple of the guys working their brains off and getting frustrated. I think you should be concerned before you lose someone that is trustworthy and a good worker. I know I wouldn't work for Love's because for what they have to do, isn't worth what you pay them. My advice? Send someone in and ask employees' how it is to work for you. You may be surprised. I will still come there to get my fuel because the showers are clean and well kept because a couple of your employees care. Quit working them to the bone. I am a friend, I think, of one of your employees and I think she should get paid more for what they have to put up with. Thank you for listening.

    1. They obviously don't care about their customers so how could you think they would care about their employees loves does not care I can't even find a phone number to do a legit complaint on a brand new store you can email them your complaint LOL and I'm only saying that they don't care about their employees and if they don't care when customers have legit complaint so that problems can be corrected but don't get me wrong I do frequent certain Love's Travel Centers don't go to the new one in Ennis Texas if you've ever felt like you were not wanted somewhere or if you would like to feel like you're not wanted somewhere go to Love's Travel center brand new in Ennis Texas management will look at you and not say hi even when you give him eye contact cashier was the same way actually looked very rude back at me when she did acknowledge my body being there verbally she did not there was absolutely no food done on the griller it was proximately 3 a.m. I'm assuming then we're done they all look pretty raw what I could see cuz he wouldn't move then I walked and looked around and in return asked if I could park and close my eyes for an hour or so cuz I was falling asleep driving and was told no there signs posted everywhere he said and that there is there sure wasted money on them there is one and just about in front of every parking spot customer parking only 1 hour but guess what there's two cars in that big beautiful parking lot very few trucks so May the Public Notices let us doesn't care for me to file a legit complaint on this that don't go to Love's Travel center brand new beautiful store is always empty when you go by now I will never go in there again I had never felt treated so disrespected and knowledge there for every Love's I go in they all greet you they all go out of their way to help you they will allow you and tell you to take as long as you need if you

  3. I have been trying to get in touch with someone in the construction department for some time now. I am trying to get local contractors on a new store you are going to build in MO. I have ran into this problem before and the business owner has out of state workers build the store while our skilled tradespeople sit unemployed.

  5. My wife works as a shift lead in the ottawa store on the Hardee's side and her manager is Ed. I'm really sick of how often her phone is being texted from her manager Ed sometimes it's in excess of 30 per day! ANY time of day and apparently in group texts to all the mngmnt. WOULDN'T this be like a meeting for work that is not paid? I don't like this man harassing my wife at will. This is a personal phone being used for uncompensated meetings. STOP THIS BEFORE I FILE A LAWSUIT ED

  6. Look, I am all for saving water and recycling, but the touch less sensor hand wash has got to go. 11/4/16 got to Love's in Jasper, Al and tried to wash my hands, I got them wet and soaped up but could not get sensor to work to rinse. I was mad. Love's, you are lucky I did not have a hammer on me, you wouldn't have a sink. Go back to the standard faucets and find another way to save water. I like the sensors on toilets since many people don't know how to flush.

  7. My wife and 12 year old son had a very bad experience at your Love's Harrisonville Missouri store. An assistant manager accused my son of stealing an old pilot's style hat. He told the assistant it had been bought ($19.40) at a Love's store near Joplin (Neosho No. 5 Missouri) and confirmed by an M.D. friend that was with the group. The assistant continued to accuse in front of my son's and wife's friends from the American Taekwondo Association that where also in the store and McDonald's at the time. It was suggested he call the police or the store where the hat was bought, that fell on deaf ears, but he continued on. All of the employees refused to give their names, I suppose out of fear that they finally realized they had made a mistake. The verbal abuse of a lone minor is taboo in our society and is unlawful. Two, it is simply bad business if you care about retaining customers. Three, people like this assistant should not be working with the public. I hope you will get to the bottom of this ASAP. I know I intend to. You may contact me at [email protected] or 501-240-3253.

  8. Yes LOVES TRUCK STOP towed my husband's truck ~ Said they have a 24 hour policy, I said really it is NOT posted, I was then assured it was posted all over, I said where? I was not shown but said in here, I said what about outside? There are NO signs anywhere, and I double checked and there is not ANY SIGNS ANYWHERE OUTSIDE, BEST part is They could not even find out whom towed it, they were calling when I went to the Subway and saw a dude in Plouge's overall and asked him if he towed any trucks from here, he said yes and I said where did you take them? He gave me the number and we called and when I said something to the people in the back and they were still on the "well he did not sign the book, that's why we towed it" I said he didn't know he was suppose to as it is not posted and we left to get his truck. Thank you Love's Truckstop Pittsboro Indiana for costing us $850.00. Your Concern over a drivers well being (didn't try contacting the company to see why the truck was there) I mean he could have been laying inside deathly ill, dead or hey maybe spending time with his family over CHRISTMAS) Thank you for the care and consideration you exhibited to us, the $850. is just a very costly tag to remind me to NEVER go to a LOVE"S truckstop ever again, I will encouraging all my friends to boycott you as well, and We are not the only ones, there was a female telling us about them towing her truck the day before.I understand new policies but I do not understand enforcing without posting them so that people are aware of your polices.
This is pretty crappy customer service I mean you are a Truck stop correct? Trucks are parked there? We have parked there over the last 2 years and NEVER had this issue until now, so why now? why not over the last 2 years? I think this is crap!

  9. Apparently it is the operating practice of Loves to bully employees or allow them to be by their supervisors. The corporate office doesn't seem concerned at all. So that is what Lawyers are for. The Mt. Vernon Store will soon be served. People have the right to be treated with respect. Even when you need to let them go from employment. There is a right way and a wrong way. They have chosen the wrong way.

  10. I would like to tell you of a good experience that I had with Love's store 450, W. Memphis, AK. We were moving from TX to NC and as we were coming off of the highway, we hit a hole on the exit ramp and ended up with a hole in the tire and luckily the Love's store was right there. We had the car packed up to the gill and did not know even where to start. We went into the store to see where we could get a new tire. Everything was closed at that time. Ms. April Urquidez and Ethan Milligan were working at the store. It was raining and very cold that night. When i asked for some help, Ms. April asked Mr. Milligan if he could help out. They asked me to stay in the store because I was so cold. Mr. Milligan and a Sheriff's Deputy from the county (Mickey Thornton) went out and unpacked the back of the car to get to the spare, had to find something to get the tire lugs off and then put the tire back on and pack up the car (we had soooo much stuff back there). While in the store Ms. April was very nice to me and then my daughter (who is in the military). If it was not for them, i don't know what we would have done. If this gets to the higher ups, please send them a thank you letter for their professionalism and help.
