VG Foods HQ - Thanksgiving meal is a joke

This Thanksgiving meal is a joke!!!! I ordered a meal for Thanksgiving from the Owosso store. If I wanted container food and a bag of mashed potatoes I would have bought it myself! Your store employees and your order slip are very misleading! I was totally under the impression that the food was made there! When I reached out to the store manager, she was very condescending. Yes, I used one swear word, hell, and she was very rude about that. Could hardly get a word in, because she was trying to explain that this food that comes in a package is homemade!! So I asked her if stoffers are homemade, and her reply was I don’t know anything about Stouffers all I know is we have it in our freezer cases. My sister also ordered a meal and she specifically asked if they cooked turkeys one or two days before and the employee told her yes. You mislead people, this was completely embarrassing to have my guests see this! Shame on you and your company! What a waste of money!

I went to VGs in Fenton on Leroy St. Yesterday afternoon to get some doughnuts and some meat mix for meatloaf, the overweight balding man with all the tattoos made me feel so uncomfortable. I was asking about meat sausage/hamburger mix and he was asking me about my pants while staring at my breasts the whole time. Disgusting. Think the silver-haired man said he was a lead. I’ve been coming here for a long time, the meat department has gone down quite a lot as of the last few months.

VG Food Stores - Meat department

Awful experience, with terrible service in the meat department. Was in there Halloween and asked a question to the butcher named Jeremy, he proceeded to talk about how great the ladies in their leggings looked and pointed to a woman and young lady who happened to be my wife and 13-year-old daughter. Disgusting and infuriating, the next time I came in there, the same guy was going off on a customer telling them to just go to Walmart because he wasn’t going to assist. I’ve been coming here for many years, not shopping for meat here anymore until they make some changes.

I do hope you handle this. My family and I enjoy shopping here because it’s so close. We will go farther for meats if we have to.

I did a bottle return to the VG’s on Leroy St. in Fenton today. There were 2 bottles of the ICE brand flavor that I assume aren’t registered in the machine. The machine wouldn’t take them which is fine. I went around to the service desk as I’ve done many times before to turn them in and get my .20. It was closed at that time. I was making a small purchase and needed to cash my bottle receipt so I just went to the cashier at the register. The young girl at the end of the register then said “Do we carry that flavor?” I answered “No I guess not” she then said “We don’t take them then. “ I said I’ve returned them many time before as you do carry this brand. She again refused to take them. “ She said “They weren’t supposed to”. I just said okay fine. And took them home with me. It wasn’t worth an argument but for the simple fee of .20 I left with a very bad experience with your customer service. I’ve shopped for many years at this store and I just feel that this was a lack of courtesy. Again just the principle. My husband was a Kroger manager for many years and their policy was under $10.00 just give it to them. Certainly not the .20 cents but the principle.
