Shaw’s, Facial recognition. The Lancaster NH store uses Facial Recognition. The Seafood and Bakery departments in particular will ignore some customers and even misprice items.

Shaw’s, Outstanding Local Store, Poor Rewards Program Support. The Shaw’s store in Falmouth, Maine is excellent. The manager and his staff go above and beyond, and I truly appreciate their service and dedication. As a third-generation Shaw’s customer, this store continues a tradition that began with my grandmother, who used to bring friends for the senior discounts every Wednesday. However, the rewards program and centralized customer support are another story entirely. As a 72-year-old disabled senior with special needs, I’ve found the program to be completely inaccessible. Your voice recognition system does not work for me, and it’s incredibly frustrating that the first-level support staff often struggle to understand or assist effectively. It took me three calls and over 12 minutes on hold—with music I didn’t want to hear—before the Falmouth store kindly gave me a direct number to try. This is not the experience any customer should have, especially someone trying to access basic benefits. I am a regular shopper, especially in your Kosher foods section, and I advocate for other disabled individuals and seniors. I also routinely report accessibility issues to federal agencies—not because I enjoy it, but because it’s necessary when companies fall short. Your Falmouth store deserves 5 stars. Your rewards program and support system, unfortunately, earn Zero Stars. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously and work to improve accessibility and customer service for all, especially those of us who need a little extra support.

Shaw’s, I usually avoid Shaw’s because the employees working the cash registers have not been trained not to acknowledge the customer or interact with the customer at all. No greeting, no telling the total of the order and no thank you have a nice day. If they are working alone, they just ignore you. If they are working with another employee they just carry on a conversation with that person while putting your bread in the same bag as your soda. The prices are higher but this poor customer service is why I will continue to drive further, right past Shaw’s Easton MA, to go to any other grocery store. Big Y, Market Basket or Roche Bros. I managed a customer service team for over thirty years and this is just a lack of proper training and enforcement. Do better!!!! This has happened several times over years of shopping. I won’t be shopping there anymore.

Shaw’s, Outstanding customer service! I love Shaw’s meat department at 320 Warwick Ave 02888, The meat staff is always ready to help with smile. The cuts of meat are great. The meat manager is a gem she and staff are ready to answerer any questions for me, as to how many portions and size I will need when hosting large family events. I can’t say enough about my Shaw’s meat dept. What I will say is, I have and will remain a lifetime customer of Shaw’s. I am 70 yrs young, I have made it a point to bring my family members and introduce them to my Shaw’s team so they too can enjoy the outstanding service that Shaw’s has given me. They deserve 6 Stars plus! Thank You so much!

Shaw’s, Saturday mornings at Shaw’s in Harwich, they only ever have 1 cashier on. This occurs even in the summer when it’s packed. Today there was no cashier on at 8:15 because the front-end manager went upstairs to get something as she was the cashier. I was told I’d have to take my full cart of grocery to self-checkout. I politely told the nice bagger no so she called the self-check out cashier over to ring up my order. She was very nice, but worried she was going to get in trouble for leaving the self-check out area. Shaw’s is a major prominent grocery store and tons of people do their grocery shopping on Saturday mornings so maybe, I don’t know, actually have cashiers on.
