Residence Inn Corporate Office: Headquarters Address, Phone and Complaints

🗨  Comments

Residence Inn Hotel

Residence Inn by Marriott is an extended-stay hotel brand owned by Marriott International. Guests often look for the Residence Inn corporate office after a hotel manager has not resolved a reservation, billing, refund, cleanliness, maintenance, accessibility, Marriott Bonvoy, employee-conduct, long-stay, or customer-service complaint.

Residence Inn does not publish a separate standalone brand headquarters. Its corporate operations route through Marriott International at 7750 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, Maryland. Marriott’s corporate-headquarters number is 1-301-380-3000, while Residence Inn reservations can be made at 1-800-331-3131.

Residence Inn corporate office and Marriott headquarters in Bethesda Maryland

Residence Inn is a Marriott International extended-stay brand supported from Marriott’s headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland.

Residence Inn Corporate Office and Headquarters Information

Important: The number 1-301-380-3000 is Marriott International’s corporate-headquarters number. It is not the primary number for an individual Residence Inn reservation, hotel bill, lost item, room complaint, Marriott Bonvoy account, refund, or employee matter.

The previously listed customer-service number 1-800-721-7033 could not be verified on Marriott’s current official support pages and should be removed.

Where Is the Residence Inn Corporate Office?

Residence Inn does not maintain a separately published corporate headquarters. The brand is owned and supported by Marriott International from:

Marriott International, Inc.
7750 Wisconsin Avenue
Bethesda, MD 20814

This is Marriott International’s headquarters and the appropriate corporate address for broader Residence Inn brand and executive-office matters.

It is not usually the correct destination for:

  • A hotel-room complaint
  • A lost item
  • A folio or hotel bill
  • A refund from one property
  • A maintenance problem
  • A reservation change
  • An employment issue involving one hotel
  • Merchandise or documents intended for a local hotel

Those matters should begin with the Residence Inn property involved or Marriott Customer Care.

Residence Inn Customer Service and Reservations

Use the following numbers based on the type of assistance needed:

Marriott Customer Care is the more appropriate corporate support route for:

  • An unresolved hotel-stay complaint
  • A billing dispute after checkout
  • A refund that has not been processed
  • A reservation or cancellation issue
  • A complaint involving more than one hotel
  • A Marriott Bonvoy benefit dispute
  • A problem with Marriott’s website or app
  • A request that needs to be routed to the hotel’s ownership or management company

Marriott currently provides Customer Care support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Individual hotels and departments maintain their own operating hours.

How to File a Residence Inn Corporate Complaint

The most effective route depends on whether the issue is still happening during the stay or remained unresolved after checkout.

Speak With the Hotel During the Stay

Contact the front desk immediately when a concern involves:

  • A dirty room or kitchen
  • No hot water
  • Heating or air-conditioning problems
  • A broken appliance
  • Smoke, odors, pests, mold, or water damage
  • A bed-type or accessible-room problem
  • Missing towels, bedding, cookware, or toiletries
  • Noise
  • A room that was not ready
  • A safety or security concern
  • A housekeeping or maintenance request

Ask the front desk to document the issue. If it is not resolved promptly, request the manager on duty or the hotel’s general manager.

For a serious room problem, ask what alternatives are available, such as:

  • Repairing the problem
  • Moving to another room
  • Providing replacement equipment or supplies
  • Relocating the reservation to another hotel
  • Adjusting the room charge
  • Providing Marriott Bonvoy points or another goodwill remedy

The available resolution depends on the hotel, occupancy, ownership, rate, and circumstances.

Contact the Residence Inn General Manager

A property-level complaint should normally be reviewed by the hotel’s general manager before being escalated to Marriott headquarters.

Use the hotel page on Marriott.com to locate:

  • The direct hotel phone number
  • The street address
  • Check-in and checkout times
  • Parking information
  • Pet fees
  • Accessibility features
  • Breakfast hours
  • Hotel-specific policies

Ask for a written response or case reference when the matter involves a refund, accessibility, room condition, safety, or a substantial billing dispute.

Escalate to Marriott Customer Care

Call 1-800-535-4028 or use Marriott’s official contact form when:

  • The hotel manager did not resolve the complaint
  • The hotel has not responded
  • A promised refund or adjustment is missing
  • The complaint involves Marriott Bonvoy benefits
  • The hotel disputes what occurred
  • The concern involves multiple properties
  • A written corporate record is needed

Provide the reservation details and request a Marriott case number.

Contact Marriott Corporate Headquarters

The Bethesda corporate office may be appropriate when:

  • A serious complaint remains unresolved after hotel and Customer Care contacts
  • The complaint involves a broader Marriott or Residence Inn policy
  • A legal, regulatory, media, privacy, franchise, development, or corporate matter is involved
  • Existing support cases have received no meaningful response

Written correspondence can be addressed to:

Marriott International, Inc.
Attention: Residence Inn Guest Complaint or Appropriate Department
7750 Wisconsin Avenue
Bethesda, MD 20814

Calling or writing to headquarters does not guarantee direct access to Marriott’s CEO or a Residence Inn brand executive. The matter may be referred to Customer Care, the hotel’s general manager, a regional operations team, or the hotel’s independent owner.

What to Have Ready Before Contacting Residence Inn

Prepare:

  • The hotel name, city, state, and street address
  • The reservation confirmation number
  • The check-in and checkout dates
  • The room number
  • The name on the reservation
  • The rate type and cancellation terms
  • The hotel bill or folio
  • Photographs or video of room-condition problems
  • The names of employees or managers contacted
  • The dates and times the issue was reported
  • Any Marriott Customer Care case number
  • The specific resolution requested

Do not publish a reservation confirmation number, Marriott Bonvoy account number, payment-card details, room number during an active stay, home address, medical records, or private employee information in a public review.

Residence Inn Billing and Hotel-Bill Complaints

Review the hotel bill before leaving the property whenever possible.

Common billing concerns include:

  • An incorrect room rate
  • A parking charge
  • A pet fee
  • A deposit or incidental hold
  • A late-cancellation or no-show charge
  • A duplicate transaction
  • A charge for an additional night
  • A damage or cleaning fee
  • A charge assigned to the wrong guest
  • A Marriott Bonvoy redemption error

Billing Problem During the Stay

Speak with the front desk or hotel accounting department. Ask for a corrected printed or emailed folio before checkout.

Billing Problem After Checkout

Contact the hotel directly or use Marriott’s official contact form. Provide:

  • The confirmation number
  • The hotel and stay dates
  • A copy of the bill
  • The disputed line item
  • The amount believed to be correct
  • Any supporting receipt or reservation terms

Marriott Bonvoy members can often obtain bills for recent stays in the United States and Canada through the account activity section on Marriott.com or the Bonvoy app.

A pending authorization is not always the final posted charge. Ask the hotel and card issuer how long an incidental hold normally takes to clear.

Residence Inn Cancellations, Deposits and No-Show Fees

Residence Inn does not have one universal cancellation deadline for every hotel and rate.

The applicable rules depend on:

  • The specific hotel
  • The rate selected
  • Whether the rate was prepaid
  • The arrival date
  • The hotel’s local time
  • Whether the booking was made through Marriott or a third party
  • Whether the reservation was part of a group block

Check the cancellation policy:

  • Before completing the reservation
  • In the confirmation email
  • In the Marriott Bonvoy account or app
  • Through the reservation lookup tool

Cancel before the exact deadline and save the cancellation number.

For a third-party reservation made through Expedia, Booking.com, Priceline, a travel agency, or another service, changes and refunds may need to be handled by that company.

Reservation, Room-Type and Accessibility Complaints

Contact the hotel before arrival when a specific room arrangement is essential.

Confirm:

  • Accessible-room type
  • Bed type
  • Roll-in shower or accessible tub
  • Distance from the elevator
  • Hearing-accessible features
  • Kitchen accessibility
  • Mobility-equipment space
  • Service-animal requirements
  • Connecting-room requests

A room preference and a confirmed accessible-room feature are not always treated the same way. Ask the hotel to explain what is guaranteed and what remains a request.

Keep the confirmation and screenshots of the room description. Contact the manager immediately when the assigned room does not match a confirmed accessibility feature.

Do not include detailed medical diagnoses in a public review. Describe the required accessibility feature and what the hotel provided.

Residence Inn Long-Stay Complaints

Extended stays can create recurring concerns that may not appear during a one-night visit.

These can include:

  • Housekeeping frequency
  • Linen and towel replacement
  • Kitchen and appliance condition
  • Hot-water reliability
  • Mail and package handling
  • Parking costs
  • Pet fees
  • Room maintenance
  • Rate changes or extensions
  • Tax treatment after a qualifying length of stay
  • Noise and long-term construction

Ask the hotel to explain in writing:

  • The housekeeping schedule
  • The long-stay rate
  • What happens if the stay is shortened
  • Whether taxes change after a certain number of nights
  • Parking and pet charges
  • How maintenance requests are tracked

Report recurring maintenance problems each time they occur and retain the service-request history.

Residence Inn Senior, Government and Group Rates

A discount may depend on the hotel, dates, demand, rate availability, eligibility, and booking channel.

Possible rates can include:

  • Senior rates
  • AAA or CAA rates
  • Government and military rates
  • Corporate rates
  • Group and wedding-block rates
  • Extended-stay rates
  • Marriott Bonvoy member rates

A hotel may not offer every rate on every night. Weekend, event, and high-demand dates can have limited discount availability.

Before booking:

  • Compare the available rates.
  • Review the cancellation terms.
  • Confirm eligibility requirements.
  • Ask whether the discount applies to all nights.
  • Save the rate details and confirmation.

A complaint that one hotel did not offer a senior rate should not be presented as proof that Residence Inn has a companywide policy against weekend senior discounts.

Marriott Bonvoy Points and Missing Stay Credit

Residence Inn participates in Marriott Bonvoy.

Members may earn points and elite-night credit on qualifying stays booked through eligible Marriott channels.

A completed stay can take up to 10 business days to post.

When a qualifying stay remains missing:

  1. Wait 10 business days after checkout.
  2. Obtain the paid hotel bill.
  3. Sign in to the Marriott Bonvoy account.
  4. Open account activity.
  5. Submit a missing-stay request.
  6. Upload the bill when requested.

Third-party bookings and certain group, wholesale, voucher, or package rates may not qualify for Marriott Bonvoy points or elite-night credit.

For general Bonvoy support, call 1-800-627-7468.

Lost Items at a Residence Inn

Contact the hotel directly as soon as possible when an item is lost.

Provide:

  • The hotel name
  • The stay dates
  • The room number
  • The confirmation number
  • A detailed description of the item
  • Where it was last seen
  • A safe contact method

The Bethesda corporate office is not the fastest route for lost property because each hotel controls its own rooms, housekeeping, security, and lost-and-found records.

Do not provide phone passcodes, online banking passwords, full card numbers, or other unnecessary security information when describing a lost device or wallet.

Residence Inn Breakfast, Housekeeping and Amenities

Residence Inn commonly promotes:

  • Spacious suites
  • In-room kitchens
  • Separate living and sleeping areas at many properties
  • Complimentary breakfast
  • Fitness facilities
  • Guest laundry
  • Pet-friendly accommodations at participating hotels
  • Marriott Bonvoy benefits

Amenities, schedules, fees, and service frequency vary by hotel.

Residence Inn extended-stay suite with kitchen and living space

Confirm:

  • Breakfast days and hours
  • Housekeeping frequency
  • Pool and fitness-center availability
  • Parking charges
  • Pet fees and restrictions
  • Laundry costs
  • Kitchen equipment
  • Accessible amenities

A description on one Residence Inn hotel page does not necessarily apply to every property.

Residence Inn Careers and Human Resources

Search for hotel and corporate jobs through the official Marriott careers website.

Positions may include:

  • Front-desk agents
  • Housekeeping associates
  • Maintenance employees
  • Breakfast and food-service staff
  • Sales managers
  • Assistant general managers
  • General managers
  • Regional and corporate positions

Many Residence Inn employees work for an independent hotel owner or management company rather than Marriott International directly.

Current and former employees should use:

  • The hotel manager
  • The employer named on the pay statement
  • The hotel-management company’s Human Resources department
  • Marriott’s internal associate resources when employed directly by Marriott

The reservation, Customer Care, and corporate-headquarters numbers are not dedicated public Human Resources lines.

CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com cannot access applications, schedules, payroll records, tax forms, personnel files, benefits, or employment-verification records.

Residence Inn Ownership and Hotel Management

Residence Inn is a Marriott International brand, but individual hotels may be:

  • Owned by Marriott
  • Managed by Marriott for another owner
  • Owned and operated by an independent franchisee
  • Managed by a third-party hotel-management company

This distinction matters because the local employer, property owner, and entity responsible for a building-condition or employment complaint may not be Marriott International.

Ask the hotel for the legal ownership or management-company name when it is needed for:

  • A formal complaint
  • An insurance claim
  • An employment matter
  • A legal notice
  • A safety or property-damage issue

Marriott Customer Care can often route a guest complaint to the property and applicable management team.

Residence Inn Reviews and Complaints

Visible submissions to CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com currently include individual experiences involving:

  • A senior rate that was reportedly unavailable for a weekend reservation
  • A dirty oven during a long-term stay
  • Repeated hot-water problems
  • An accessible-room and bed-type dispute
  • Uncomfortable mattresses
  • A pool or whirlpool concern
  • Requested room-charge reimbursement
  • Room availability and front-desk interactions
  • Missing towels and coffee
  • A positive accessibility and front-desk experience

These are individual reader reports. They do not establish that every Residence Inn property, employee, mattress, room, discount, or maintenance department produces the same experience.

Public reviews should not include:

  • Reservation confirmation numbers
  • Room numbers during an active stay
  • Detailed medical histories
  • Payment-card details
  • Private employee information
  • Unsupported accusations of criminal conduct

A helpful review identifies the hotel, approximate date, issue, people contacted, response received, and final resolution.

Residence Inn Senior Citizen Discount Issue

March 18, 2025

Residence Inn, Complaint. I have made reservations for Mar 21 and Mar 22, 2025 to attend my great niece wedding at the Residence Inn Marriott in Glen Hills PA. Since I did not receive an email confirmation I contacted the office yesterday evening. They located my reservation and confirmed my email address which was wrong. The person I spoke to corrected the email and sent a confirmation. I also reserved a room for Mar 22, 2025 for my son and grandson who are also attending the same wedding. My complaint is that this Marriott does Not make senior discounts on weekends. I am 79 and will ask for senior discounts wherever I go. Next wedding/event I will reserve a hotel that does make senior discounts on every of the week!

Residence Inn Roanoke VA Disappointing

February 28, 2025

Residence Inn, Long term stay. My husband and I are at the Roanoke, Va location by the airport. My husband is working in the area. We first got here there was an issue with the stove/oven… we set the smoke detectors off 2 times in the oven as it was nasty. It had about an 1/2” of crud on the bottom of the oven wish set the smoke detectors off 2 times. I went down to the front desk and made a complaint. Nothing was done. The young lady at the desk gave me an excuse that there is only 1 person that is allowed to clean the ovens and she was not there that day. From my knowledge housekeeping should be certified to clean an oven. 1 of the main housekeepers came in an I asked to her about it… she was in shock that it looked like what it did… I have a video of it, will try to post. I told her that it was a health issue and a fire hazard. She agreed. So she started cleaning. 3 days later, My husband took a shower and lost Hot Water, lets just say his shower was quick. So he called down to the front desk and they sent someone one up. They guy checked the hot water, no issues… hubby does this for a living told him he thought that the tank was not getting hot an it might have to be replaced. Guy said if we have any other issues to let him know. Well I guess someone else complained that they didn’t have Hot Water, so now they are replacing it. We left for dinner at 3:30 pm on 28th February 2025, came back an no hot water, was told that they are repairing it… well it’s 9:14 pm 28th February 2025 and we still have no hot water. My hubby should be in bed as he needs to shower to work tomorrow. For the price that we are paying for our 6 months stay you would think that if someone complains about an issue that things would be fixed faster. At $150 a night this is unacceptable. I want a compensation for the issues we have had so far at this location. Please do not hesitate to to contact me!

We stayed at the Marriott in Langhorn P.A. 15 Cabot Blvd and myself and my wife are very disappointed in the hotel and the room we stayed in.

November 27, 2023

We booked a room at Residence Inn Marriott in Langhorn P.A. 15 Colbot Blvd, we checked in at 4:15 pn on November-03 and spoke to the front desk person who attempted to check in she stated we do not accept cash only credit cards that were not stated on the web site. So I had to deposit money back into my account. Booked Friday, Nov. 03 2023 to Nov. 06-2023 3 Nights. Confirmation Number was 84720718

We booked this room 2 months ago and it was for a Handicapped room and King bed we were located on the 4th floor and walked all the way around to the end of the floor, my wife is handicapped and has trouble walking. Well away from the elevator, entered the room there was no King bed and the mattress on the bed was horrible very soft, and sunk in it was a Queen not a king called the front desk she stated quote she couldn’t change our room due to the hotel was booked up we asked if someone can change out the mattress se sent up her Husband who worked there he returned 15 minutes later and stated the mattress can’t be turned, I and my wife slept in the worse mattress ever my wife has just had left hip replacement 3 months ago woke up in a lot of pain to the hip and back due to the mattress. My wife had bad left hip and back pain due to the sleeping conditions at your hotel we like to have another night not charged to us we feel we should not be charged for the inconvenience to the hotel and the staff. Also, I was disappointed the Whirlpool was out of service and the pools were full of over 50 kids, The total experience was horrible, and will not stay at the hotel again not happy. Hope I hear something back thank you Like in my conversation we like to have another night Reimbursed to us for the inconvenience caused by the condition of the room and staff. Dear Residence Inn Home Office - Quite Happy with our stay

October 19, 2023

We were quite happy with our stay. The room was spacious and very accommodating for the handicapped person in our group. Also want to mention Juhan at the front desk who was wonderful – everytime we came or went she held the door for us to get our wheelchair-bound person in and out. She was great and very accommodating. All the staff at the front desk were wonderful – a real credit yo your organization. Thank you!

Residence Inn Headquarters HQ - Complaint

December 13, 2022

Residence Inn Jackson tn. May 20, 2023, depart May 22, 2023. Reserv # 94432689. I have had a reservation for 2 bedrooms for almost a month. The day before arrival I called to double-check. I arrived and the older lady at check-in said the room was no longer available. I explained to her that there were 3 adults with limitations that needed a bed. She said we would have to book two rooms as two beds were not available in a room. She was very rude and not at all helpful. I then asked if there was a Hampton Inn in town and Suddenly she had a 2 bedroom available. Is this a bait and switch or what? Of course, she made us wait an hour. The next day I asked for three sets of towels to be delivered to the room. She said there were none. I told her I did not need them now but to put them in the room with two regular coffee pods. I got three large towels and no coffee. It is a shame one person can dictate your feelings about an establishment, which I will not return to for future family events. Everyone else I dealt with went above and beyond. When I concluded my stay the young man at the desk jumped up to help me carry my box. The restaurant people especially DJ were delightful. When I returned home I had a call from them on my answering machine. I could hardly understand the name, it was like Clovis McCole, some sort of supervisor. I tried to call all day on Thursday but there were phone problems as it was constantly busy. The next day I got through and no one had heard of the above person. I asked to speak to the general manager, Mary Patterson who was listed on my evaluation, and they had never heard of that person. That Inn is in serious trouble and needs attention.
