Best Western corporate office and BWH Hotels headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona
BWH Hotels and Best Western Hotels & Resorts are headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Phoenix headquarters handles corporate administration, brand strategy, hotel membership, marketing, technology, reservations infrastructure, loyalty programs, quality standards, development and other BWH Hotels functions. It is not the front desk or billing office for an individual Best Western hotel.

For a current stay, room problem, hotel charge, missing receipt or local employee complaint, begin with the hotel where the stay occurred. Use Best Western Customer Care if hotel management does not resolve the concern or if you need the complaint documented and forwarded for further review.

Best Western Hotels & Resorts Headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona

Best Western Hotels & Resorts headquarters is located at 6201 N. 24th Parkway in Phoenix, Arizona. This address is also associated with BWH Hotels, the global hospitality enterprise that includes Best Western Hotels & Resorts, SureStay Hotels and WorldHotels.

People searching for Best Western HQ Phoenix, Best Western corporate headquarters, Best Western head office, Best Western hotels head office, Best Western main office or Best Western hotels corporate office are generally looking for this Phoenix location.

The verified Best Western corporate number is 1-602-957-4200. This is a headquarters number and should not be confused with the reservations, Customer Care or Rewards phone numbers.

Best Western Plus Corporate Office Information

Best Western Plus is a hotel brand within Best Western Hotels & Resorts. It does not have a separate Best Western Plus corporate headquarters.

Corporate matters involving Best Western Plus generally route through BWH Hotels headquarters in Phoenix. A complaint involving a particular Best Western Plus property should normally begin with that hotel’s front desk or general manager and then be escalated to Best Western Customer Care if necessary.

The same distinction applies to Best Western Premier, Executive Residency by Best Western, BW Premier Collection, BW Signature Collection and other brands within the BWH Hotels portfolio.

Best Western Hotels Are Independently Owned and Operated

Best Western-branded hotels are generally independently owned and operated. Best Western International provides brand systems, reservations, marketing, Rewards, standards, technology and related support, but it does not own, manage or control every hotel carrying a Best Western name.

This structure affects complaint handling. A local property may control:

  • Guest billing and receipts
  • Incidental and damage charges
  • Local cancellation decisions
  • Room assignments and upgrades
  • Refund approvals
  • Housekeeping and maintenance
  • Employee supervision
  • Parking, pet, deposit and amenity policies
  • Lost-and-found property

Best Western Customer Care can document feedback, route a complaint to the hotel and review certain brand-level concerns. However, a refund, charge reversal, points adjustment, travel credit or other compensation is not guaranteed.

What to Have Before Contacting Best Western Corporate Office

  • Hotel name, city, state and street address
  • Guest name shown on the reservation
  • Confirmation number, shared only through a verified private channel
  • Check-in and checkout dates
  • Booking channel, such as BestWestern.com, the hotel, Expedia, Booking.com or a travel agent
  • Rate type and cancellation terms
  • Receipt, folio or billing statement
  • Best Western Rewards number, when relevant
  • Names or positions of hotel employees contacted
  • Dates and approximate times of conversations
  • Photos of cleanliness, maintenance, pest, damage, safety or accessibility concerns
  • Copies of emails, cancellation confirmations and prior responses
  • A concise timeline of the problem
  • The specific resolution requested

Cover payment-card numbers, home addresses, complete confirmation numbers, Rewards credentials, room-access information and other private details before uploading documents or photographs.

How to File a Complaint With Best Western

  1. Report the problem during the stay. Contact the front desk or manager while the hotel still has an opportunity to inspect the room or correct the issue.
  2. Ask for the general manager. Property-level billing, cleanliness, service and maintenance complaints should normally be reviewed by local management first.
  3. Keep documentation. Save the receipt, confirmation, photos, names, dates and written hotel response.
  4. Contact Best Western Customer Care. Call 1-800-528-1238 or submit the official guest feedback form.
  5. Request a case or reference number. Save it with the date, representative’s name and promised next step.
  6. State the requested resolution. Examples include a bill correction, refund review, room-charge review, Rewards adjustment, management follow-up, apology, maintenance inspection or brand-standard review.
  7. Request escalation when necessary. Ask whether the complaint can be reviewed by a supervisor, brand representative, district contact, quality team or other appropriate department.
  8. Use outside resources when appropriate. Depending on the issue, this may include the booking provider, payment-card issuer, health department, fire or building authority, state consumer-protection office or legal counsel.

A corporate office complaint is easier to review when it is factual, chronological and focused on the unresolved issue. Avoid including unrelated grievances or unsupported accusations.

Best Western Corporate Office Complaints Phone Number

The primary Best Western corporate office complaints phone number for guest concerns is Customer Care at 1-800-528-1238.

The Phoenix corporate number, 1-602-957-4200, is the Best Western headquarters phone number. It is not the best first route for an ordinary reservation, room, billing, Rewards or refund complaint.

Best Western Reservation Cancellation and No-Show Complaints

Best Western cancellation requirements vary by hotel, rate plan, booking channel and travel date. The applicable deadline and penalty should appear during booking and in the confirmation.

A guest who does not cancel within the stated deadline may be charged for one night. A prepaid, advance-purchase or minimum-stay reservation may have different or stricter terms.

If a flight cancellation, illness, weather event or other unexpected situation prevents travel:

  • Contact the hotel and reservations department as soon as possible.
  • Ask whether the dates can be changed or a credit can be issued.
  • Keep airline cancellation notices and other supporting records.
  • Request written confirmation of the hotel’s decision.
  • Check any travel-insurance or credit-card trip protection benefits.
  • Contact the third-party booking provider if it processed the reservation.

An unexpected travel disruption does not automatically cancel the agreed hotel terms, but the hotel or booking provider may choose to approve an exception.

How to Request a Best Western Refund

Refund responsibility depends on the property, reservation type, booking channel, payment processor and reason for the request.

For a direct hotel charge:

  1. Contact the hotel and request an itemized folio.
  2. Identify the charge or night being disputed.
  3. Ask the general manager for a written decision.
  4. Contact Best Western Customer Care if the hotel does not respond or the matter remains unresolved.

For a reservation made through Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking.com, Priceline, a credit-card travel portal or another third party, that booking provider may control the cancellation and refund.

If a charge appears unauthorized or inconsistent with the reservation agreement, contact the hotel first and then ask the card issuer about applicable dispute rights. Filing a payment dispute does not guarantee that the charge will be reversed.

Best Western Billing, Receipt and Extra-Charge Complaints

Best Western states that guest billing and receipt information is accessible to the individual hotel. Contact the property directly for:

  • Missing or incorrect receipts
  • Duplicate room charges
  • Incidental holds
  • Parking or pet fees
  • Damage or smoking charges
  • Missing-item charges
  • Taxes and resort fees
  • Deposit questions
  • Refund status

For a disputed damage or missing-item charge, request the written hotel policy, itemized amount and any inspection report or photographs supporting the charge. Respond in writing with your own records and request management review.

A pending card authorization may be different from a completed charge. Ask the hotel and card issuer whether the amount is pending, settled, released or reversed.

Best Western Cleanliness, Pest and Bedbug Complaints

Report a cleanliness or pest concern to the front desk immediately. Ask the manager to inspect the room and document what was found.

Useful records may include:

  • Photographs or video
  • Room number, shared privately
  • Date and time reported
  • Names or positions of hotel representatives
  • Whether another room was offered
  • Whether the property inspected the room
  • Receipts for reasonable documented expenses

If the issue involves a serious sanitation or public-health concern and hotel management does not respond appropriately, contact the local health department or other applicable authority.

Do not publish medical records, photographs of bites tied to identifying information, room-access details or private information about hotel employees or other guests.

Best Western Hotel Safety and Maintenance Complaints

Hotel safety complaints may involve exposed wiring, broken locks, fire hazards, damaged furniture, unsafe railings, nonworking smoke alarms, flooding, blocked exits, sharp objects, defective appliances or another condition that could cause injury.

Do not touch exposed wiring or attempt an unsafe repair. Leave the affected area, notify hotel management and contact emergency services or the appropriate local authority when there is an immediate danger.

Take photographs only when it is safe to do so. Ask the hotel to document the condition, move you to a safe room and provide a written response.

Best Western Accessibility Complaints

Contact the individual hotel before arrival when you need an accessible room, lower peephole, roll-in shower, mobility assistance, accessible parking, service-animal accommodation, communication aid or another specific feature.

Ask the hotel to confirm the requested feature in writing. A general website amenity description may not contain enough detail for a particular accessibility need.

Best Western also provides a web accessibility form for difficulty using BestWestern.com. A complaint about a physical hotel feature should be reported to the hotel manager and Customer Care.

Best Western Third-Party Booking Problems

If the reservation was made through an online travel agency, employer portal, credit-card travel site or traditional travel agent, that company may control:

  • Changes and cancellations
  • Prepaid charges
  • Refund processing
  • Travel credits
  • Guest-name corrections
  • Confirmation information

Ask the booking provider for both its own confirmation number and the hotel’s confirmation number. Keep both until the stay and all related charges are complete.

If the hotel cannot locate the reservation, contact the booking provider while you are at the property and ask it to communicate directly with the hotel.

Best Western Rewards, Missing Points and Account Complaints

Contact Best Western Rewards at 1-800-237-8483 for account access, missing points, status, award nights, redemptions and promotional offers.

For a missing-points request, keep:

  • Rewards membership number
  • Hotel folio
  • Stay dates
  • Hotel name and location
  • Booking channel
  • Promotion registration confirmation
  • Screenshots of the account activity

Do not post a Rewards account number, password, verification code, full receipt or future travel plans in a public comment.

Best Western Reviews and Complaints

The reviews currently visible on CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com include complaints about reservation flexibility, denied refunds, ants, alleged bedbug bites, dust, a nonworking Jacuzzi, a reportedly wet or soiled bed, partial compensation, maintenance problems, possible exposed electrical wiring, sharp objects in carpeting, lack of luggage assistance and a disputed pillow charge.

One reviewer described being unable to shift a reservation after a flight cancellation and being treated as a no-show. Another reported cleanliness, pest and amenity concerns at a Washington property.

A separate guest alleged that a hotel bed had a wet or soiled area and objected to receiving only a partial refund. Another reviewer reported possible electrical and maintenance hazards at a Missouri hotel. A fifth disputed an additional $50 charge described as relating to a pillow.

These reviews represent individual experiences and allegations. CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com does not independently verify every room condition, pest report, safety allegation, hotel conversation, billing decision or refund request submitted in a public review.

A useful Best Western review identifies the hotel city, approximate stay date, reservation type, general problem, hotel-management response, Customer Care route used, requested resolution and whether the issue was resolved.

Best Western San Diego CA Disappointing Reservation Issue

May 23, 2025

Best Western, Reservation Issue Due to Flight Cancellation. I had a reservation at the Best Western in San Diego, CA, but our flight was canceled and we were unable to arrive on the scheduled date. As soon as we were informed of the cancellation, I contacted Best Western to see if we could adjust the reservation by just one day. Unfortunately, I was told they couldn’t change the date or issue a refund because we were marked as a “no-show.” Despite reaching out to customer relations and corporate, I’ve received no assistance. I’m extremely disappointed by the lack of flexibility and understanding in a situation that was clearly beyond our control. This experience has made me reconsider ever booking with Best Western again.

Response from Corporate Office Headquarters

How Can I Get a Refund? Request Written Confirmation of Denial: If you haven’t already, ask for a written statement from the hotel or customer service confirming they denied the date change and refund. This will help in filing a dispute. Dispute the Charge with Your Credit Card Provider: Contact your credit card company or bank and dispute the charge under the reason of “services not rendered.” Explain that your flight was canceled due to circumstances beyond your control and that you attempted to reschedule immediately. File a Complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB): Visit https://www.bbb.org and submit a complaint against Best Western. Include your reservation details, what happened, and that you were denied a resolution despite taking prompt action. Email Best Western Corporate Again (Brief but Firm): Use the contact form or email: https://www.bestwestern.com/en_US/customer-care.html. Include your reservation number, a short summary, and a request for either a refund or travel credit. Consider Posting a Polite Public Message on Social Media: Companies often respond faster to public concerns on Facebook or X (formerly Twitter). Keep it respectful but direct, stating that your flight was canceled and your request for help was ignored.

Best Western Silverdale WA Disappointing Experience

May 12, 2025

Best Western Silverdale, WA. Sugar Ants, Bed bug bites, Jacuzzi did not work in room, dust very thick so not clean. Door peep hole was at the top of the door, so for a gal that travels a lot I had to roll the desk chair over to see who was knocking. Will never stay there again!

Best Western Gold Canyon Inn & Suites Gold Canyon AZ Disappointing

May 10, 2025

Best Western Gold Canyon Inn & Suites Gold Canyon AZ Disappointing! Stayed at this hotel on May 2nd and 3rd. Went to bed on the first night and woke up during the night only to find the bottom of my pajama leg was wet. Checked out the bed to find a large wet spot. Found out it was urine, after smelling the sheets. It was disgusting. Next morning, made a complaint at the front desk. They gave us a new room. Told them I wanted to get a refund for that night. Was told it was up to the supervisor after they did an investigation. The supervisor would only take off 50% of the one night. We never heard from the supervisor either in person or by phone to apologize to us for the inconvenience. This could have been a health hazard. We are not happy at all of not getting a full refund for that night. No more Best Western for us.

Best Western Landing View Inn Branson MO Disappointing

May 4, 2025

Best Western, Landing View Inn Branson MO. 1 night stay at this hotel. I have stayed here before. This time was a disappointment. Easy check-in & nice clerk. She was very helpful. Going to room not very easy – hotel built on a hillside. No luggage carts at all. Hotel doesn’t have them due to hillside. But 2 wheel hand truck dollys would still be helpful. We are almost 70 yrs old & need wheeled assistance for luggage, etc. Upon entering room, placed wifes luggage on luggage stool. She opened top flap, opened it up & it tapped a large, framed picture on the wall. The picture fell down on top of luggage – no damage to picture or luggage But hidden behind picture was a capped (wire nut) electrical cord embedded in the sheetrock in a cut out hole. The wire was live – it ran behind sheetrock to floor, came out behind baseboard & was plugged into outlet. It was not mounted in a legal code elec. box & not Romex type wire. Definitely not legal. Not even sure why it was there. (See pictures) Tried to turn on TV. Not working. Frig was not working – neither plugged on. Moved cabinet slightly with both on & in it, plugged it in & it worked. My wife also stepped on 3 paper staples embedded in carpet. No injuries but there could be that potential. Bed was clean, comfy. Breakfast very average. I’m a Best Western Rewards member & have been for many years. I’ve liked Best Western & have almost used them exclusively for the last 10 years. But I was really disappointed this time, especially since this was not a cheap 1 night stay. Best Western, whether privately run or corporately owned…is better than this & should ensure any hotel with their name on it meets “all standards”. The electrical cord issue is really a “code issue” & should not be left alone.

Best Western Pendleton OR Disappointing Over Charge

April 23, 2025

Best Western, $50 added charge. We stayed at Best Western Pendleton, OR. The room was okay, but we were not given a room receipt upon check out. The hotel added an extra $50 onto the room with the note: Pillow. The pillows are subpar and who would take one? We took nothing from the room and did nothing but sleep in the room. We typically travel from Mesa, AZ to Washington state for the summer. One of our hotel stops for years has been Best Western Sawtooth at Jerome, ID. We will no longer stay at any Best Western, the brand has been damaged and trying to correct this charge has been impossible. We have traveled all over the world. Panama, Philippines, Germany, Holland, Czech Republic, Mexico, Canada. East coast West coast US and in between. I have never encountered this before, a false surcharge. I do recall some of the Philippine’s hotels would ask us to wait before leaving, until the room was inspected and verified by staff that there was nothing taken or damaged. We never had an issue even in a third world country. I made a complaint to Best Western Corporate offices and I have not heard back.
