Banfield Corporate Phone Number, Headquarters Address & Complaints

🗨  Comments

Banfield corporate phone numbers vary according to the type of help needed. Banfield Pet Hospital does not currently publish one general headquarters switchboard for every customer issue. Its corporate headquarters is located at 18101 SE 6th Way, Vancouver, WA 98683.

For Optimum Wellness Plan billing, call 1-866-935-5738. For plan cancellations and general wellness-plan questions, call or text 1-888-649-2716. Customers with hospital complaints should begin with the hospital involved and then use Banfield’s official hospital-feedback route.

Banfield Corporate Office Address and Phone Contacts

Important phone-number clarification: The numbers above serve different departments. The wellness-plan billing number, cancellation number, online-order number, website-support number, and payment-method number should not be presented as a single general Banfield corporate phone number.

Banfield Hospital Complaint or Experience

Begin with the Banfield Pet Hospital where the appointment, treatment, purchase, billing discussion, or customer-service interaction occurred. Ask for the practice manager or hospital leadership when the first employee cannot resolve the concern.

If the hospital does not resolve the issue, submit hospital-experience feedback through Banfield’s official contact page or email ba***********@******ld.com.

What Is Banfield Phone Number 1-866-894-7927?

The number 1-866-894-7927 appears in Banfield’s official account system for certain customer-care and wellness-plan payment-method questions.

It may be useful when a customer needs to update the payment method assigned to an individual wellness plan. However, Banfield’s main contact page does not identify this number as a universal corporate-office or headquarters phone number.

Use the more specific billing, cancellation, enrollment, online-order, or website-support number whenever it matches the issue.

How to Escalate a Complaint to Banfield Corporate Office

  1. Contact the hospital involved: Speak with the veterinarian, practice manager, or hospital manager as appropriate.
  2. Document the issue: Record the hospital location, appointment date, pet’s name, invoice number, amount charged, and names or roles of the people contacted.
  3. Request a case number: Ask Banfield to provide a reference number for the complaint or account inquiry.
  4. Use the correct department: Contact wellness-plan billing, cancellation support, online-order support, or website support when the problem belongs to one of those departments.
  5. Submit written feedback: Use Banfield’s official contact form or hospital-experience email and retain a copy of the submission.
  6. Request a written response: Ask for confirmation of billing adjustments, cancellations, refunds, account changes, or promised follow-up.
  7. Send corporate correspondence when appropriate: Mail a concise written complaint to Banfield Pet Hospital, 18101 SE 6th Way, Vancouver, WA 98683.

Explain what happened, identify the hospital and date, describe the support routes already used, and clearly state the resolution requested. Send copies rather than original documents.

What to Have Before Contacting Banfield

  • The Banfield hospital location, city, state, and hospital number if known
  • Your pet’s name and appointment date
  • Your MyBanfield email address or client ID
  • The invoice, order, or wellness-plan information involved
  • The date and amount of any disputed payment
  • Copies of relevant emails, text messages, or chat conversations
  • The names or roles of previous representatives contacted
  • Any existing case or reference number
  • A short timeline of events
  • A clear explanation of the resolution requested

Do not include complete credit-card numbers, bank-account numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or unnecessary medical information in ordinary correspondence.

Banfield Optimum Wellness Plan Billing

Banfield Optimum Wellness Plans are year-long preventive-petcare packages. Customers can generally pay for a full year or use a 12-month monthly payment arrangement with AutoPay.

The payment card or bank account used for monthly plan payments may be different from a saved payment method used for hospital purchases or Banfield’s online pharmacy.

For a wellness-plan billing concern, gather:

  • The signed or electronic plan agreement
  • The enrollment and renewal dates
  • The monthly payment schedule
  • The date and amount of each disputed payment
  • Services already received under the plan
  • Any previous cancellation request
  • Emails or messages received from Banfield
  • The payment method involved

Call 1-866-935-5738 for billing and payment questions. Obtain a case number and written confirmation of any adjustment.

Banfield Wellness Plan Cancellation and Renewal Complaints

Banfield wellness plans are annual preventive-care packages rather than month-to-month veterinary insurance policies. A customer who selects monthly payments is paying for an annual package through scheduled installments.

For cancellation or renewal questions, call or text 1-888-649-2716. Before ending a plan, ask Banfield to explain:

  • The current plan term and renewal date
  • Whether the plan has already renewed
  • The effective cancellation date
  • Any remaining amount associated with services already received
  • Whether future automatic payments will stop
  • Whether written documentation is required
  • When written cancellation confirmation will be provided

Keep screenshots, emails, text messages, case numbers, and billing statements. If the plan is canceled because a pet has died, notify Banfield promptly and ask what information is required to close the plan.

Banfield Wellness Plan vs. Pet Insurance

Banfield’s Optimum Wellness Plans and Banfield Access Plans are preventive-petcare packages. They are not traditional pet insurance.

A Banfield preventive-care package generally provides specified routine services, office visits, testing, vaccinations, or discounts according to the selected package. Pet insurance commonly addresses qualifying illnesses, injuries, or reimbursements under a separate insurance policy.

Banfield states that customers can use most pet insurance plans alongside a Banfield preventive-care package. Questions about an insurance claim should be directed to the insurance company, while questions about an Optimum Wellness Plan should be directed to Banfield.

Hospital Experience and Veterinary Care Complaints

Contact the hospital where the appointment occurred when the concern involves:

  • An examination or diagnosis
  • Medication or prescription questions
  • Vaccinations or preventive treatment
  • Dental procedures
  • Laboratory tests or diagnostic imaging
  • Surgery or postoperative instructions
  • Communication with a veterinarian or hospital employee
  • Appointment delays or scheduling
  • Drop-off appointment concerns
  • A hospital invoice or charge
  • Medical records or follow-up care

Request the veterinarian, practice manager, or hospital manager based on the issue. Ask for copies of relevant medical records and invoices when needed for follow-up with another veterinarian.

Urgent-care warning: Do not wait for the corporate office, an email response, or a public-review reply when a pet may be experiencing a medical emergency. Contact the Banfield hospital, an emergency veterinary hospital, or another licensed veterinarian immediately.

Online Pharmacy, Home Delivery, and AutoShip Complaints

For an online medication, pharmacy order, shipment, delivery, or AutoShip concern, call 1-888-626-3992.

Have the following information ready:

  • Order number
  • Medication or product name
  • Order and shipping dates
  • Tracking information
  • Delivery address
  • Prescribing hospital or veterinarian when relevant
  • Photographs of damaged packaging or products
  • The resolution requested

Contact the prescribing veterinarian promptly when a delayed, missing, damaged, or incorrect medication could affect the pet’s treatment.

MyBanfield Account and Website Support

Call 1-877-656-7146 for help with:

  • Locating a MyBanfield username
  • Finding a Banfield client ID
  • Locked accounts
  • Password-reset problems
  • Duplicate online profiles
  • Website errors
  • Accessing medical records
  • Managing online appointments
  • Website questions or comments

Banfield Request Yearly Plan Please

May 20, 2025

Banfield, Offer a different wellness plan. This isn’t really a review, but has corporate ever considered a wellness plan that includes only one visit a year? My cats would so benefit from that. They hate going to the vet. If you offered a lower price for such a plan, you may be able to reach a completely new market, especially given the state of the economy at this time. I would really like you to explore this new plan to see if there is a market for it. I have 4 cats and putting them on the plan with dental is not possible. I am a senior citizen and am fortunate to have a good income, but the cost of 4 Active Care Plus plans is just not doable.

Banfield DIsappointing Customer Service

February 21, 2025

Banfield, These unacceptable care and services reviews are too real. I’ve had concerns about Banfield’s service before, but my recent experience at the Reston location was truly unacceptable—reminiscent of those nightmare customer service stories you see on social media. After reading other reviews online, I now realize my experience mirrors many others, and unfortunately, the complaints are all too real. Not to mention, there is a class action lawsuit against Banfield, further proving these issues are not isolated incidents but a widespread problem. 1. Misleading Information About Medication – I specifically asked Banfield to call in Posatex to Costco Pharmacy and was told that Costco does not carry it. This was completely false. After paying $78 at Banfield, I later confirmed with Costco that they do carry it—for only $51. 2. Neglect in Pet Care – My dogs were crated all day, and despite Banfield’s claims that they had been properly cared for, they immediately urinated upon leaving and guzzled water as soon as we got home—clear signs they had not been given proper bathroom breaks or water throughout the day. 3. Extremely Unprofessional Staff – After four calls trying to confirm my pickup time, I was placed on hold for 10 minutes, then yelled at and hung up on when I said I couldn’t wait until 5:30 PM to pick up my dogs. The lack of professionalism and courtesy was shocking. 4. Banfield Advocacy Hotline – A Complete Joke – To make matters worse, the Banfield Advocacy Hotline is a disaster. No one ever answers. Instead, you get a false message claiming, “Stay on the line for a Banfield care transcriber to submit feedback on your behalf.” But guess what? The call hangs up automatically after the lengthy, meaningless message. This entire experience was beyond frustrating. After reading reviews from other customers, I now see that these issues are not isolated incidents—they are a pattern of negligence, unprofessionalism, and poor customer service. I used to advocate for Banfield and even deterred employees from signing up for the company-sponsored pet protection plan based on past concerns. Now, after this, I cannot in good conscience recommend Banfield to anyone who values compassionate pet care, honest communication, and professional service. If you truly care about your pets, I strongly advise seeking care elsewhere. The fact that a class action lawsuit exists against Banfield alleging negligent care and misrepresented fees and pricing speaks volumes. This is a company that prioritizes profit over the well-being of pets and the satisfaction of their owners.

Banfield Disappointing Customer Sevice

January 13, 2025

Banfield, Poor care and cold hearted customer sevice. I have used the Banfield Wellness program for 11 years for one of my dogs and 3 years on a second one-since 2022 the quality of care has gone down the tubes. The “vets” change with every visit and seem to get less experienced, it has turned into a joke-they have no consideration for the animals or their owners. Dealing with the customer service people is even worse! I recommended them to several people at the beginning, now I tell everyone to stay Away! After the most current issue I was told that “Maybe I should find a new vet” which I have, now they are looking for payment for the remainder of the 2 plans Good Luck with that!!!

Banfield Frustrating Customer Service

December 31, 2024

Banfield, Dishonest Business Practices force me to submit the rating of 1 Star, although that is only because 0 Star isn’t available. Duplicate billing for over one year has forced me to seek legal action. After repeated attempts to Close my account, I continue to received monthly billings which I challenge to no avail. Cancel my account!
