🗨  Comments

SiriusXM is headquartered at 1221 Avenue of the Americas in New York City. Sirius XM Holdings Inc. operates satellite radio, streaming audio, podcasts, advertising services, connected-vehicle products, and Pandora. This page provides the SiriusXM corporate office address, corporate and Customer Service phone numbers, current leadership, ownership details, cancellation and billing guidance, complaint-escalation options, and reader-review themes.

SiriusXM Corporate Office Address and Phone Numbers

Corporate-phone clarification: 1-212-584-5100 is SiriusXM’s corporate and executive-office telephone number. It is not the best number for routine subscriptions, billing, cancellations, radio activation, streaming, vehicle transfers, promotional pricing, or app support.

Customer-service update: SiriusXM’s current public contact page lists 1-800-689-6881 as its general Customer Care number. The older numbers on the former article have more limited or specialized uses and should not all be labeled as ordinary Customer Service.

Human Resources clarification: SiriusXM does not publish one general public HR phone number for applicants, current employees, or former employees. Applicants should use the official careers website. Employees should use the internal Human Resources, payroll, benefits, manager, or employee-support contact supplied by SiriusXM.

SiriusXM corporate office headquarters at 1221 Avenue of the Americas in New York City
SiriusXM’s executive offices are located at 1221 Avenue of the Americas, 35th Floor, New York, NY 10020. Its corporate phone number is 1-212-584-5100.

Where Is SiriusXM Headquarters?

Sirius XM Holdings Inc. lists its principal executive offices at:

Sirius XM Holdings Inc.
1221 Avenue of the Americas
35th Floor
New York, NY 10020

The building is located in Midtown Manhattan and is also commonly known as 1221 Sixth Avenue.

The New York address is appropriate for general headquarters references, corporate correspondence, Investor Relations, governance matters, media inquiries, business relationships, and written complaints when SiriusXM has not provided a more specific address.

Customers should not automatically send subscription payments, billing disputes, radios, product returns, cancellation notices, or account documents to the New York headquarters. SiriusXM provides separate Customer Care and billing correspondence routes for consumer accounts.

What City Is SiriusXM Headquarters In?

SiriusXM’s headquarters is in New York City, New York.

The full corporate address is 1221 Avenue of the Americas, 35th Floor, New York, NY 10020.

SiriusXM also maintains studios, offices, technical facilities, satellite operations, advertising offices, and other business locations in additional cities. Those locations do not replace the New York office as the principal executive headquarters of Sirius XM Holdings Inc.

What Is the SiriusXM Corporate Phone Number?

The SiriusXM corporate phone number is:

1-212-584-5100

This number is associated with SiriusXM’s New York executive offices and appears in the company’s public corporate filings.

The corporate number may be appropriate for:

  • General corporate routing
  • Corporate business inquiries
  • Investor or media contact questions
  • Executive-office correspondence questions
  • Vendor and commercial matters
  • Requests involving an unresolved company-level complaint

Calling headquarters does not guarantee direct access to Jennifer Witz, another executive, the Board of Directors, Human Resources, the legal department, a programming executive, or an employee with authority to change an individual account.

For account-related issues, start with the applicable Customer Care or account-management route.

SiriusXM Customer Service Phone Number and Hours

1-800-689-6881

  • Telephone Hours: Monday–Sunday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Eastern Time
  • Online Chat: Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week

Have the SiriusXM account number or Radio ID available before calling. The Radio ID may also be described as an ESN or RID and can often be found by tuning a compatible vehicle radio to channel 0.

Customer Care may assist with:

  • Subscription plans and pricing
  • Renewal charges
  • Billing questions
  • Payment-method changes
  • Trial subscriptions
  • Adding or removing a vehicle
  • Transferring service
  • Radio activation
  • Refresh signals
  • Missing channels
  • Streaming login problems

  • The account number
  • The Radio ID, ESN, or RID
  • The vehicle make, model, and year
  • The VIN when requested
  • The email address and telephone number on the account
  • The billing ZIP code
  • The subscription or plan name
  • The charge date and amount for a billing concern
  • The previous case number
  • The requested resolution

Provide those details privately through an official SiriusXM channel rather than posting them in a public review.

Which SiriusXM Phone Number Should You Call?

General Consumer Customer Care

Call 1-800-689-6881 for general subscription, billing, account, radio, streaming, and support questions.

Canceling Direct-Billed SiriusXM Service

SiriusXM’s current Manage or Cancel Service page lists 1-866-635-8641, the Online Account Center, and online chat for direct-billed cancellation.

SiriusXM’s Customer Agreement separately lists 1-866-635-2349 for Audio and Infotainment cancellations.

Because SiriusXM currently publishes both numbers on different official pages, customers should begin with the online account or dedicated cancellation page and retain a screenshot, chat transcript, cancellation number, and effective date.

Temporarily Suspending a Subscription

Call 1-866-635-5027 when requesting an eligible temporary subscription suspension.

SiriusXM currently permits certain paid subscriptions to be suspended once per calendar year for up to six months. Restrictions apply, and a suspended promotional period may continue to expire on its original date.

Family Friendly Programming

Call Listener Care at 1-800-967-2346 for information about Family Friendly plans and channel options.

SiriusXM for Business

Call 1-888-539-7474 for SiriusXM Music for Business and commercial-location accounts.

A business subscription is different from a personal subscription and may be subject to separate service terms and music-licensing requirements.

Marketing and Contact Preferences

Call 1-877-447-0011 or use the online contact-preference tools to manage SiriusXM marketing communications.

How to Escalate a SiriusXM Complaint

  1. Start with Customer Care. Call 1-800-689-6881, use online chat, or sign in to the Online Account Center.
  2. Request a case number. Record the date, time, department, representative’s name if provided, and promised response date.
  3. State the exact issue. Identify whether it involves billing, cancellation, renewal, pricing, radio service, streaming, an unknown vehicle, marketing, programming, or another concern.
  4. Ask for supervisory review. Request a Customer Care supervisor, billing specialist, cancellation team, account-security team, technical-support team, or another appropriate department.
  5. Save supporting records. Keep statements, screenshots, chat transcripts, emails, offer terms, cancellation confirmations, and previous case numbers.
  6. Use the unresolved-issues route. SiriusXM’s Contact Us page provides an escalation option for issues that were not resolved satisfactorily.
  7. Follow up in writing. Send a concise billing dispute or Listener Care letter to the Detroit correspondence address when appropriate.
  8. Protect payment-dispute deadlines. SiriusXM’s agreement states that billing disputes should be raised within 30 days. A bank or card issuer may impose a separate deadline.
  9. Send a corporate complaint when necessary. A clearly documented company-level complaint may be mailed to the New York headquarters after ordinary account routes have been attempted.

Use one clear timeline. Include each contact date, the support route used, the answer received, the amount or service involved, and the specific correction being requested.

How to Cancel SiriusXM

The correct cancellation process depends on who bills the subscription.

SiriusXM Direct-Billed Subscriptions

Direct-billed service can currently be managed or canceled through:

  • The Subscriptions tab in the SiriusXM Online Account Center
  • SiriusXM online chat
  • 1-866-635-8641, as shown on the Manage or Cancel Service page
  • 1-866-635-2349, as identified in the current Customer Agreement

Ask the representative to confirm:

  • Which subscriptions were canceled
  • Whether other radios remain active
  • The effective cancellation date
  • Whether another renewal will occur
  • Whether a refund or credit applies
  • The cancellation-confirmation number

Cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal date to reduce the risk of another automatic renewal.

Apple, Google Play, Roku and Other Third-Party Billing

A SiriusXM subscription purchased through Apple, Google Play, Roku, T-Mobile, Supporting Cast, or another billing provider generally must be canceled through that provider.

SiriusXM may be unable to cancel or refund a subscription when another company processed and collected the payment.

Check the bank or credit-card statement when it is unclear which company is billing the subscription.

Deleting the App Does Not Cancel

Uninstalling the SiriusXM app does not cancel a subscription.

Unfollowing a podcast, removing a vehicle from a mobile app, selling a vehicle, trading in a vehicle, or no longer listening also does not automatically cancel a paid direct-billed subscription.

Canceling Multiple SiriusXM Subscriptions

An account may contain subscriptions for several radios, vehicles, devices, or services.

Canceling one subscription does not necessarily cancel every subscription on the account. Review each active radio and plan and obtain confirmation for every subscription that should end.

SiriusXM Refund and Renewal Rules

SiriusXM paid subscriptions generally renew automatically until canceled.

The applicable plan, billing interval, offer terms, and cancellation date determine whether a refund is available.

Monthly Audio Plans

A new monthly subscription canceled within seven days of its initial start date may be eligible for a prorated refund when requested.

The seven-day right does not ordinarily apply to later monthly renewals. After the initial period, cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle without a partial-period refund.

Quarterly, Annual and Other Longer-Term Audio Plans

A non-monthly plan canceled within 30 days of its initial charge or a renewal charge may be eligible for a prorated refund when requested.

After that 30-day period, cancellation or a plan reduction generally becomes effective at the end of the current subscription period without a refund for unused time.

Promotional Offers

Promotional plans can renew at higher then-current rates after the introductory period ends.

Review:

  • The promotional price
  • The length of the promotional period
  • The normal renewal price
  • Additional fees and taxes
  • The billing interval
  • The cancellation deadline

Save the original offer details and renewal notice when the regular price or plan is later disputed.

SiriusXM Billing Disputes and Mailing Address

For a direct-billed SiriusXM account, begin with Customer Care or online chat.

SiriusXM’s Customer Agreement publishes the following mailing address for billing questions:

Sirius XM Care
P.O. Box 33174
Detroit, MI 48232
Attention: Listener Care

A written billing dispute should include:

  • The subscriber’s name
  • The service address
  • The SiriusXM account number
  • The disputed charge date and amount
  • The subscription or radio involved
  • The reason the charge is disputed
  • The requested correction
  • Copies of relevant records

SiriusXM’s agreement states that customers must contact the company about a disputed charge within 30 days of the charge date or risk waiving the contractual right to dispute it.

Do not mail original statements, legal documents, vehicle titles, or identification unless SiriusXM specifically requires them. Retain copies and proof of delivery.

SiriusXM Charges After Selling or Trading a Vehicle

Selling, trading, losing, or no longer using a vehicle does not necessarily cancel the SiriusXM subscription connected with that radio.

After selling or trading a vehicle:

  1. Sign in to the SiriusXM account.
  2. Review the vehicle and radio listed under each subscription.
  3. Transfer eligible service to the replacement vehicle or cancel it.
  4. Remove outdated contact or vehicle information when permitted.
  5. Confirm whether streaming access remains active.
  6. Save the transfer or cancellation confirmation.
  7. Review later statements for additional charges.

A vehicle trial supplied by an automaker may stop automatically, while a paid subscription selected by the customer may continue to renew. Verify the specific plan rather than assuming all vehicle service ends automatically.

Unknown Vehicles and Unwanted SiriusXM Emails

Some consumers report receiving SiriusXM marketing emails or subscription offers connected with vehicles they do not own.

This can result from:

  • An incorrect email address supplied by a vehicle purchaser
  • An old email address remaining on a previous owner’s account
  • Vehicle sales or registration data
  • Duplicate SiriusXM profiles
  • A dealer data-entry error
  • Marketing records associated with another person
  • A phishing message impersonating SiriusXM

Do not click an unexpected link. Instead, open SiriusXM.com directly or call Customer Care using a verified number.

Ask SiriusXM to identify whether the message is connected with a genuine account, trial, inactive radio, marketing record, or unrelated email campaign. Make clear that existing legitimate subscriptions must not be removed while the unknown vehicle is being investigated.

SiriusXM Radio Activation and Refresh Problems

If a vehicle radio is missing channels or displays an activation message:

  • Confirm that the subscription is active.
  • Park the vehicle outdoors with a clear view of the sky.
  • Turn the radio on.
  • Tune to channel 0 to locate the Radio ID when supported.
  • Use SiriusXM’s official refresh-signal tool.
  • Allow time for the signal to reach the radio.
  • Restart the radio or vehicle system when instructed.
  • Contact Customer Care if the radio remains inactive.

Service problems may involve the subscription, Radio ID, vehicle infotainment system, antenna, satellite reception, app login, or vehicle software. Confirm whether the problem affects satellite listening, streaming, or both.

SiriusXM App and Streaming Complaints

Streaming complaints may involve:

  • An incorrect username or password
  • A subscription without streaming access
  • A duplicate account
  • An app update
  • Device compatibility
  • Playback interruptions
  • Missing favorites or library content
  • CarPlay or Android Auto problems
  • Smart-speaker or television connections
  • Simultaneous-stream limitations

Before contacting support:

  • Confirm that the plan includes app listening.
  • Sign out and sign back in.
  • Reset the password through the official SiriusXM site.
  • Update the app and device operating system.
  • Restart the device.
  • Test another internet connection.
  • Check whether the same account is streaming elsewhere.
  • Save screenshots of error messages.

Do not post login information, device identifiers, or account-recovery codes publicly.

SiriusXM Programming and Channel Complaints

Programming complaints may concern explicit lyrics, host commentary, DJ conversation, channel changes, removed programs, sports coverage, news content, repeated songs, advertising, or programming that a listener considers unsuitable for work or family settings.

SiriusXM provides a feedback route through its Contact Us page for comments about channels, shows, hosts, programming, and the overall listening experience.

When submitting programming feedback, identify:

  • The channel name and number
  • The program, host, artist, or song
  • The approximate date and time
  • Whether listening occurred by satellite or through the app
  • The specific concern
  • The requested change

Some channels include explicit language or mature programming. Listeners seeking more restricted content can ask Listener Care at 1-800-967-2346 about Family Friendly plans.

A plan described as having commercial-free or ad-free music does not necessarily mean that every channel contains only uninterrupted music. Hosts, DJs, interviews, station identification, promotions, talk segments, and non-music programming may still be included depending on the channel.

SiriusXM Music for Business

Personal SiriusXM subscriptions are intended for personal, non-commercial use and generally should not be used as background music in a business or public commercial location.

SiriusXM Music for Business provides commercial accounts for locations such as:

  • Retail stores
  • Restaurants
  • Offices
  • Hotels
  • Medical and professional offices
  • Fitness facilities
  • Salons
  • Other public-facing businesses

Music for Business Listener Care can be reached at 1-888-539-7474.

Business subscriptions can have separate equipment, billing, commercial-use, and music-licensing terms. Identify whether the account is personal or commercial before requesting support.

About SiriusXM

SiriusXM developed from two separate satellite-radio businesses: Sirius Satellite Radio and XM Satellite Radio.

The Federal Communications Commission approved the companies’ merger in July 2008. The combined business subsequently expanded beyond satellite radio into streaming audio, podcasts, advertising technology, connected-vehicle services, and other audio products.

SiriusXM currently provides:

  • Satellite radio in compatible vehicles and radios
  • Streaming through the SiriusXM app
  • Music channels
  • Live sports and sports talk
  • News and political programming
  • Talk, comedy, and entertainment
  • Podcasts and on-demand programs
  • Traffic and connected-vehicle information
  • Aviation and marine data services
  • Commercial music services
  • Digital audio advertising through SiriusXM Media

SiriusXM reported approximately 32.9 million U.S. SiriusXM subscribers at the end of 2025.

Does SiriusXM Own Pandora?

Yes. Pandora Media, LLC and the Pandora streaming business are wholly owned by SiriusXM.

Pandora offers:

  • Free ad-supported personalized radio
  • Pandora Plus
  • Pandora Premium
  • Personalized stations and playlists
  • On-demand music
  • Podcasts
  • Advertising inventory sold through SiriusXM Media

Pandora should therefore be described as a related SiriusXM business rather than a separately owned competitor.

Account, billing, and subscription support may still differ between SiriusXM and Pandora. Customers should identify which service appears on the receipt or payment statement before seeking help.

SiriusXM Phishing and Impersonation Warning

Scammers may impersonate SiriusXM through emails, text messages, calls, search advertisements, fake support websites, and social-media messages.

Common claims include:

  • A subscription is about to expire
  • A payment failed
  • A refund is waiting
  • A vehicle trial requires immediate activation
  • An account is suspended
  • A discounted renewal is available
  • The listener must verify a password or payment card

SiriusXM says it will not request passwords, Social Security numbers, or Tax ID numbers through suspicious communications.

SiriusXM also says it does not accept subscription payments through PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, or cryptocurrency.

If a message appears suspicious:

  • Do not click the link.
  • Do not open an attachment.
  • Do not reply.
  • Do not provide a password or verification code.
  • Open SiriusXM.com directly.
  • Review the account through the official Account Center.
  • Forward suspicious emails or URLs to re************@******xm.com.
  • Contact the financial institution if payment information was disclosed.

SiriusXM Corporate Office Reviews and Complaints

The five current visible reviews on CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com describe individual experiences involving programming, marketing, account records, and Customer Service.

  • Workplace Programming: A listener objected to allegedly explicit lyrics played on The Spectrum while the service was being streamed in an office.
  • Unknown Vehicles: A reviewer reported receiving subscription marketing connected with vehicles they said they never owned and expressed concern that Customer Service might affect legitimate vehicle subscriptions, including a lifetime subscription.
  • General Customer Service: One brief review expressed disappointment but did not describe a specific transaction or first-hand event.
  • DJs and Channel Programming: A listener complained that some DJs spoke too much and objected to the music selected for the Spa channel during morning hours.
  • Renewal and Support: A reviewer described extended telephone calls, communication difficulties, repeated scripts, website problems, and a decision not to renew.

These reviews represent individual, unverified experiences. They do not establish that every SiriusXM subscriber, channel, radio, streaming account, vehicle, promotion, representative, or cancellation will produce the same result.

When leaving a SiriusXM review, consider including:

  • The general subscription type
  • Whether the service was in a vehicle, app, home radio, or business
  • The approximate date
  • The issue involved
  • The support route used
  • Whether a case or cancellation number was provided
  • The requested resolution
  • Whether SiriusXM resolved the concern

Privacy Warning for SiriusXM Reviews

SiriusXM complaints can involve account, vehicle, subscription, payment, location, and device information.

Do not post:

  • A complete SiriusXM account number
  • A Radio ID, ESN, or RID
  • A complete VIN
  • A payment-card or bank-account number
  • A password, PIN, or verification code
  • A billing or home address
  • A personal telephone number or private email address
  • A full cancellation, case, or transaction number
  • An unredacted statement, invoice, vehicle document, or account screenshot
  • Private information about a SiriusXM employee or another subscriber

Use SiriusXM.com, the SiriusXM app, the official Account Center, or the telephone numbers listed on current official support pages before sharing account or payment information.

Sirius XM Remove Spaceman In Tulsa Not Office Appropriate

May 21, 2025

Sirius XM, Spaceman In Tulsa. Remove this song because of its raunchy lyrics. It caused quite a scene by fellow leaders that were in my office while this song was on and I had not present to turn it off. Now, I cannot stream music in my office because the Spectrum plays this song many times a day. How can you advertise to listen at work when it contains raunchy lyrics? Please think before you play!

Sirius XM Frustrating Customer Service Issue

February 6, 2025

Sirius XM, Customer Service can’t help. I have 2 emails to be about vehicles I do not own to sign up for a subscription. When I talked to customer service they tried selling me a subscription for these vehicles. The problem is I never owned them plus they were a brand I have never owned or would purchase. After talking to someone I could not always understand they finally told me they could not help me, but they sure tried selling me a plan for these vehicles. The representative was willing to go into my account and delete my plans on 2 vehicles I own, and one of them is a life time subscription. I can’t imagine if he deleted it you would restore it. In my opinion, customer service is simply a selling agent, not a helpful representative.

Sirius XM, it seems your company is unaware of the issues and questionable practices happening. Overall, the service experience is very disappointing.

Sirius XM Frustrating Issues

December 11, 2024

Sirius XM, DJs talk to much. All except Grant Random and Earl Bailey. I pay ad free and that includes not having to listen to these others talk about their personal life and likes and what to watch! I just want to hear the music! Plus your Spa Channel shouldn’t play any drums and party sounds from 6:30 am to to 8:00am! If I wanted to wake up I would tune into the 34. Learn from Apple Spa Channel!

Sirius XM now has Zero Customer Service

The countless hours I have spent attempting to communicate with foreign customer service representatives have brought me to the point of not renewing my subscription to Sirius XM. I am blown away by the utter lack of professionalism, the inability to understand my simple request to renew, the apparent reading from a script over and over, and the unacceptable amount of time it takes on the phone. The website is full of bugs and forces you to re-input your data to the point of picking up the phone and calling Sirius XM customer support, which, as I stated, is a nightmare.
