Hampton Inn Rock Hill SC Best Customer Service Ever

Best customer service I have ever received! I called the 800 number to do a reservation for December 28, 2023 for one night. I spoke to a representative who is in another country. I had some concerns and also some requests, and I did not feel comfortable after speaking with them and hanging up that these issues were addressed. So I called the number for the hotel directly, which was Hampton Inn at 2111 Tabor Dr, Rock Hill, SC 29730. I spoke to Alice at the front desk she was fabulous! Alice not only checked the reservation, but then corrected all of the concerns that the prior one did not do correctly. She went so far as to help me to make a reservation in Brunswick Georgia for the next evening, and was again fabulous. We were traveling for the first time with our dog and she made sure that we received a room that was close to an exit door on the first floor. She had additional pillows that I had requested there and additional coffee for me. We are now returning to Ohio and going to be staying again at that location I called and I spoke to Alice again I requested her because she had been so helpful. The first time I requested the same room that we had stayed in , and she felt that that would be OK. However, I received a phone call from her two days later to tell me that that room was going to be booked by the gentleman who was staying he had extended his stay for two more weeks she assured me that she put me in the room next to it, and I would still have the same exit and it would be convenient to the back door. Alice is a asset to the Hilton all companies need more employees like Alice she goes above and beyond to service the clients. But there is anyway to reward Alice for her exemplary customer service. I’m in hope that that will be done by her superiors.

Hampton Inn Kindest Receptionists

Making sure we were taken care of during our time with my sister in the hospital! Hampton Inn on NW Expressway in OKC employs the kindest receptionists. I arrived from out of state to sit with my very ill sister at Integris Baptist Hospital a few blocks away. We got a discount because of these circumstances. Three different times myself, my sister, and my dad. Made the 5-hour trip at all times of the day or night to sit with our loved one. We always had a clean place to shower, grab a nap, sleep, grab a quick breakfast, or get away from the sounds of the hospital. Our bill was always correct with the discount included. We were there a lot!! The girls at the desk always asked how my sister was and if we needed anything. They helped me find a laundry mat, restaurants, Target, etc.. whatever we needed. I will always make sure Hampton Inn is my hotel of choice. Unfortunately, my sister passed and I will not be making the trip to OKC for a very long time.

Hampton Extremely Disappointed

Hampton by Branson-Branson Hills really ruined my whole trip! I have never been so disappointed with a hotel in my life. I haven’t seen my family in about 10 years. So I make a trip down to see my family for my daughter’s birthday and was told my family had to leave and I couldn’t have 3 children swimming with us. We have always been respectful and never once had issue. When did Hampton go away from being a family hotel? I have rented a room for two nights and only wanted one hour of pool play for the children. Not to mention the level of dust and dirt and trash in the room I overlooked. The poor service I had today was awful. We weren’t sneaking in. We paid for a hotel to visit family we haven’t seen for years just to be told the hotel doesn’t allow visitors? In what world does someone go out of town hours away to see family and not want to see them? My child’s birthday was ruined and so was my stay. I’m extremely disappointed.

Hampton is an Absolutely Disaster - Overland Park South KS, DO NOT BOOK

Booked with a third-party travel site, and called to change the reservation – A third party site called the hotel while I was on the line, and the hotel staff advised things had changed and were fine, i heard this with my ears. Arrived to check in and the same staff member first pretended not to know about the change, then later admitted she knew and had talked to a third-party travel site about the changes. Refused to give us the room we paid for stating the third-party site (the largest travel site on the planet) had not handled things correctly. Emails, a new itinerary, paid bill all in hand proved the site had done its part. The hotel staff is intentionally dishonest. Ruined family birthday trip. No responsibility was taken at any level at all, blame-shifting and finger-pointing. Will avoid this entire brand and family of hotels from now on. During this check-in ordeal, staff joked with other guests about having nearly 50 empty rooms that night – but wouldn’t change our reservation.

Was trying to book a weekend at the Boot Hill Casino in Dodge City, Ks. for our 43rd anniversary but couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone! Waited 30 mn and tried again, let ring for oh, a good 3 mnts. Still nothing. Staying home!
