Hello,,I have to say that your manager at your bowling green ohio location on main street is very RUDE..think his name is chase?? I dont know how many times that this has happened/a lot.. but I think you need someone that can go out of the way to help costomers and be kind to them,,realy.. thank you for your time...
ReplyDeleteI paid for a new, unopened copy of SUPER SMASH BROTHERS for a gift and was delivered a VEEEEERy used and battered copy of the game. Thinking this was simply a mistake, I asked for either a partial refund or a replacement. They want me to send back, at my expense, the old game first. WTF. Keep in mind it was only a small part of a much larger order. For the difference of probably $10, they have lost my business forever. I have 17 grandchildren and will advise all of them that if they cannot select games available other than at GS, then they not expect them as gifts from me.

ReplyDeleteI went into the gamestop in Toledo, OH at the franklin park mall this evening. I was going to buy a 3DS XL and some games. I walk in, 3 employees, 2 customers (including myself). I started browsing by the 3ds accessories, no one said "hi" or "can I help you?". So, I proceed to the counter and stand there, patiently for someone to at LEAST acknowledge that there is a human being standing in a place of business by the cash register... NOTHING! 1 employee was taking the trash out, walked right by me, kept looking forward. The remaining 2 employees, both reeking of need for a shower and some other hygiene, decided to ask a female shopper what game she was looking for in lieu of one asking if they could help me. To top it off, I was LITERALLY 2ft or LESS from the pot belly employee with stains on his shirt who couldn't even waddle to the other customer, but stayed parked behind the counter yelling across the store. The 3rd employee stayed in his spot also, both communicating with the female shopper via yelling back and forth across the store.

GAMESTOP SANTA MONICA RIPPED ME OFF. PURCHASED NINTENDO 3DS SUPER MARIO BROS ON 09NOV12 ONLY AFTER ASKED THE QUESTION'WILL IT WORK IN AUSTRALIA?' TO WHICH THE PINK HAIRED FEMALE SAID 'YES'. WELL, IT DOESN'T WORK AND SO I SENT 4 EMAILS OFF TO GAMESTOP AND NOW THEY ARE GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND. THEY ARE SCAMMING TOURISTS BY SELLING PRODUCTS THEY KNOW WON'T WORK IN AUSTRALIA AS PRODUCTS I HAVE SINCE FOUND OUT, ARE REGION RESTRICTED WHICH THEY SHOOULD HAVE/WOULD HAVE KNOWN BUT THEY SOLD IT TO ME ANYWAY. My son 12 years old had got 2 downloads online and they did not work the capacity of this computer just could not handle it at all. And 90.00 later no refund to a 12 year old who spent all his birthday money on air. Because that is all he got I am very upset and we live in the U.S. they are rip off artist.
DeleteI Called the Taylor Gamestop on Telegraph Road in Taylor, MI tonight to find out how much I have left on a game I reserved. First they just placed me on hold as soon as they picked up. I waited and after about 17 minutes of being on hold they picked up the phone and hung up. They didn't say anything. Just hung up on me. I called back and no one answered the phone. I know it's two days before Christmas but come on. I hope I can get my money back because I'll be going elsewhere to purchase my game. Also I can not find a useful customer complaint number anywhere online.

First they picked up and put me on hold without me even saying anything which I thought was very rude. Then after about 17 minutes on hold they ended up hanging up on me. I then called back and they would not answer the phone. Very bad customer service. I understand it is 2 days before Christmas but my business is just as good as anyone else. I was going to go up there and pay it off but now I'm wanting my money back and I'll just wait on the game.

I HAVE BEEN DIRESPECTED AND MISTREATED AND TAKING ADVANTAGE ON FOR THE LAST TIME I AM IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING A HOLD OF SOMEONE IN THE CORPORATE DEPARTMENT IF I CANT GET A HOLD OF SOMEONE I WILL BE SUEING GAMESTOP FOR WHAT IM TRYING TO GET RESOLVED. ReplyDeletewaiting to talk to game stop is terrible. my grandson worked hard to buy is own game, he paid extra to over night it. IT doesn't work, tried another system and cleaned his, still doesn't work. He called, game stop and was told after a long wait to call tomorrow and then they hung up. Finally today I GOT A HOLD OF SOMONE AFTER A LONG WAIT AND THEY ARE SENDING A NEW GAME, IT WILL BE HERE FRIDAY. we will shop some where else next time. Game stop you need more help answering the phones.

ReplyDeleteI am from new york city where there are record breakig weather conditions right now and i was told by an union square sales associate to arrive the night of the release for the dragonball xenoverse game only to get there and it be closed as well as no way to communicate with any type of customer service. I travelled in unhealthy weather conditions to recieve a game i was told was going to be there, I am calling not only human resources in the morning but i am also speaking to their general manager and district manager. i am disgusted.
ReplyDeleteGamestop overall sucks now smh I use to love gamestop but now you trade a game that's $65.00 and only get a trade value of 10.00 back, that's so wrong, and then you guys will sell it use for about 59.99 but only give us 10.00 back I highly disagree with that!!! something has to change or I will definitely stop shopping at gamestop!!

Your Gamestop in Summerville South Carolina has the worst associates in the planet! Everytime I go in to make a trade they roll their eyes and I have been accused of stealing items that were unopened that I brought in myself! (not stolen). I also have been accused of not scratching the playstation cards right and the manager there always looks stoned. Get your crap together Gamestop and stop treating people like crap and ripping the public off! I am getting my stuff online now because what you are doing should be illegal. By the way YOU SUCK! and your employees don't know crap about games, just a bunch of sissy stoners that hire only their friends.
ReplyDeleteSounds like many GameStop employees at many different locations are awful. My husband went to return a preowned PS4 today that we just bought less than 24 hours ago, and the (I believe) manager at the Parkesburg location was extremely rude and made my husband feel as if returning anything was a huge inconvenience to him! He also tried giving back LESS than what we paid, which was right on the receipt!
