Earlier tonight I bought 3 glass & crystal jewelry boxes (gifts) at the Burlington in Oxford Valley PA a few hours ago. The check-out associate tried to squeeze all 3 items into a small, flimsy plastic bag without wrapping them. She said Burlington doesn’t wrap breakable purchases & the store was too low on plastic bags to even provide one for each jewelry box! The associate had a bad, resentful attitude. If this is Burlington’s checkout policy, the store has no business selling crystal & glass products.

Burlington Only One Cashier

I had a bad experience at your store because only one cash register was open, and the manager was rude when I called to complain. The policy of opening another line when there are five or more customers waiting is not effective because cashiers cannot see the line. I decided to take my business elsewhere because I value my time and did not appreciate the lack of professionalism and respect at the Granada Hills, CA location on Zelzah.

Wanted to let you know about my experience last night at your Bradenton, FL store. I got off of work early so I looked up the store hours for your Bradenton store online which said the store would close at 11 p.m., so I drove 30 minutes away to get there in which I arrived at 9:45. When I arrived the doors were locked. I was confused as well as 3 other cars that pulled in around the same time. The security guy said through the glass door they were closed. There was no sign on the door or anything so I decided to call in which the recorded message stated again they were open until 11. So I decided to talk to a real person in which I asked what was going on? She said they were closing an hour early because they were short staff and this was coming from corporate. I then said well its only 9:45 and you said you were closing an hour early then why are the doors already locked? They stated they always lock the doors 15 mins before close. I said really and then asked what’s the name of the person I was speaking with? Then the employee hung up the phone! This is some great customer service you have at the Bradenton store. You guys should be proud of the great leadership you have running that store. Maybe eventually it will close down for good and you wont have to worry about being short staffed since you guys are turning multiple customers away. GOOD JOB HERE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
