Corporate phone clarification: 1-610-779-2000 is Boscov’s current corporate switchboard. Customers with an online order, return, refund, gift card, website, store, delivery, or merchandise complaint should normally begin with Shopper Services at 1-800-284-8155.

Boscov's corporate office headquarters address and phone number in Reading, Pennsylvania
Boscov’s corporate headquarters is located at 4500 Perkiomen Avenue in Reading, Pennsylvania. Its corporate switchboard is 1-610-779-2000.

Where Is Boscov’s Headquarters?

Boscov’s corporate headquarters is located at:

Boscov’s Department Store, LLC
4500 Perkiomen Avenue
Reading, PA 19606

The headquarters is in the Reading and Exeter Township area of Berks County. Some directories therefore describe Boscov’s headquarters as being in Reading, while others identify Exeter Township. Both generally refer to the same Perkiomen Avenue corporate location.

The address is associated with Boscov’s corporate offices, executive leadership, merchandising, buying, vendor relations, transportation, accounts payable, risk management, marketing, store operations, Human Resources, and other company functions.

The Perkiomen Avenue property is also associated with a Boscov’s retail location. Customers seeking store-specific assistance should clarify whether they need the Exeter store or the corporate office when calling.

Do not automatically mail merchandise returns, credit-card payments, gift cards, delivery claims, warranty products, employment records, vendor invoices, or time-sensitive legal notices to the headquarters address. Use the address supplied on the packing slip, card statement, delivery document, vendor instructions, or official correspondence when it differs.

What Is Boscov’s Corporate Phone Number?

Boscov’s corporate switchboard is:

1-610-779-2000

Boscov’s current vendor documentation identifies this as the company’s corporate switchboard, including for routing calls to buyers and other corporate departments.

The number may be useful for:

  • General corporate routing
  • Vendor and buyer inquiries
  • Corporate-office correspondence questions
  • Administrative departments
  • Company-level business inquiries
  • Requests involving an unresolved corporate complaint

Calling the corporate switchboard does not guarantee direct access to Jim Boscov, another executive, the legal department, Human Resources, a regional manager, or a particular store decision-maker.

Routine customer issues should generally begin with the responsible store, Shopper Services, Comenity Capital Bank, the delivery department, or the department identified on the customer’s receipt or order documents.

Who Owns Boscov’s?

Boscov’s is a privately held, family-owned department-store company.

It does not have a publicly traded parent company, stock symbol, or outside corporate owner listed as controlling the retail chain.

The company traces its origins to Solomon Boscov, who arrived in the Reading area and began selling household merchandise in 1914. The business later developed into a neighborhood store and expanded into a regional department-store chain.

Boscov’s remains under family leadership and describes itself as the largest family-owned department-store company in the United States.

Who Is the CEO of Boscov’s?

Jim Boscov is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Boscov’s.

He is a member of the Boscov family and continued the company’s family leadership following longtime Chairman Albert Boscov.

Jim Boscov and other corporate leaders regularly visit stores to meet employees, review operations, reinforce the company’s culture, and hear customer feedback.

Executive roles can change. Vendors, journalists, applicants, property owners, and other corporate correspondents should verify current leadership before directing a time-sensitive communication to a named executive.

How to Escalate a Boscov’s Complaint

  1. Start with the responsible department. Contact the store, Shopper Services, Comenity Capital Bank, gift-card department, delivery department, or other team connected with the issue.
  2. Ask for a manager. For a store complaint, request the department manager or store manager while the transaction or event can still be reviewed.
  3. Request a reference number. Record the date, time, department, representative’s name if provided, and expected response date.
  4. Preserve supporting records. Keep receipts, packing slips, order confirmations, return tracking, photographs, delivery records, account messages, and previous correspondence.
  5. State the requested resolution. Examples include a refund, exchange, return review, billing correction, delivery repair, merchandise credit, store callback, or written explanation.
  6. Ask for supervisory review. Request escalation to a Shopper Services supervisor, store manager, regional leader, returns team, delivery department, gift-card team, or another appropriate specialist.
  7. Send a written corporate complaint. If ordinary support does not resolve the matter, mail a concise timeline to Boscov’s corporate office in Reading.
  8. Protect payment-dispute deadlines. Contact the bank, card issuer, PayPal, or another payment provider promptly when an unauthorized, duplicate, undelivered, or unresolved charge remains.

Mail copies rather than original receipts or documents. Use a trackable mailing method for important correspondence and retain proof of delivery.

Boscov’s Online Order and Missing-Package Complaints

Boscov’s online orders may be divided into separate shipments. Each shipment may have its own packing slip, return address, and tracking number.

Before reporting a missing item:

  • Review every shipping confirmation.
  • Compare the items with each packing slip.
  • Check whether another shipment is still in transit.
  • Confirm the complete delivery address.
  • Check porches, mailrooms, parcel lockers, side doors, and building offices.
  • Ask household members or neighbors whether they accepted the package.
  • Save screenshots of the tracking history.
  • Contact Shopper Services promptly.

For a wrong or damaged item, retain the product, packaging, shipping carton, tags, and packing slip until Boscov’s provides instructions.

Do not mail merchandise to corporate headquarters unless Boscov’s specifically directs you to do so.

Boscov’s Return and Refund Policy

Most qualifying merchandise purchased through Boscovs.com can generally be returned within 90 days of purchase.

The ordinary return requirements include:

  • The original packing slip
  • Merchandise tags still attached
  • Return within the applicable period
  • Compliance with product-specific restrictions
  • Use of the return address listed on the applicable packing slip when returning by mail

Eligible online purchases may generally be returned to a Boscov’s store or shipped to the return address shown on the packing slip.

Boscov’s says ordinary returns may take up to 10 days to process after receipt. Shipping charges generally are not refunded.

Review the current Boscov’s return policy.

Online-Only and Personalized Merchandise

Some online-only merchandise cannot be returned to a store or may not be returnable at all. Product descriptions should identify these restrictions.

Monogrammed merchandise generally cannot be returned. Damaged or defective monogrammed items may require direct vendor replacement.

Furniture Returns

Furniture generally has a seven-day return period beginning on the delivery date.

Non-defective furniture returns may carry pickup fees. Special-order furniture may also be subject to a cancellation fee, and fabric or leather treatment services are generally nonrefundable.

Customers should inspect furniture at delivery and note visible cosmetic or mechanical problems on the delivery receipt.

Mattresses and Box Springs

Mattresses and box springs generally are covered by manufacturer warranties rather than the ordinary merchandise-return policy.

Boscov’s also offers a limited 60-day mattress comfort program. The current terms generally require the customer to sleep on the mattress for at least 30 days, contact the appropriate department by the 60th day, and satisfy condition, fee, delivery, and replacement requirements.

The program generally applies to a one-time mattress exchange rather than a cash refund. Box springs and foundations are not covered by the ordinary comfort exchange.

Other Special Return Periods

Product-specific periods and restrictions include:

  • Patio Furniture: Generally 30 days, with the original receipt and packaging
  • Air Conditioners: Generally 14 days
  • Swimming Pools: Generally 30 days, with seasonal restrictions
  • Jewelry and Watches: Generally 30 days, in original condition with packaging and tags
  • Gift Cards: Generally nonreturnable and not redeemable for cash except where required by law

Clearance items, floor samples, as-is merchandise, commercial purchases, and merchandise damaged through misuse may not qualify under the standard policy.

PayPal Returns

Items paid through PayPal that are mailed to the return address on the packing slip may generally be refunded to the PayPal account.

PayPal purchases returned to a store may be limited to an exchange or Boscov’s merchandise credit under the current policy.

Boscov’s Credit Card Customer Service

The Boscov’s credit card is issued and serviced by Comenity Capital Bank.

Contact Comenity Capital Bank for:

  • Payments
  • Statements
  • Interest and late fees
  • Credit limits
  • Lost or stolen cards
  • Unauthorized card transactions
  • Replacement cards
  • Card-account closure
  • Credit reporting
  • Billing-error notices

Boscov’s Shopper Services may assist when the problem concerns the underlying retail purchase, return, refund, promotion, or store transaction. Comenity controls the credit account itself.

Boscov’s Gift Cards and Gift-Card Complaints

Boscov’s gift-card questions and balance inquiries can be directed to 1-888-850-9964.

Boscov’s states that its gift cards:

  • Do not expire
  • Do not have service fees
  • Can be used for eligible merchandise and services at Boscov’s stores and Boscovs.com
  • Cannot be used to buy another gift card
  • Cannot be applied to a Boscov’s credit-card balance
  • Generally cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash except where required by law

A lost or stolen gift card may be replaceable for the unused balance when the customer has the original proof of purchase.

Boscov’s Gift-Card Scam Warning

Gift cards are intended for purchases and gifts. They are not a legitimate payment method for taxes, government agencies, utility bills, technical support, legal settlements, police departments, prize fees, or account-security charges.

  • Do not provide a gift-card number or PIN to an unexpected caller.
  • Do not email photographs of a gift card.
  • Do not purchase cards because someone threatens arrest, disconnection, or financial loss.
  • Keep the original purchase receipt.
  • Contact Boscov’s promptly if a balance disappears unexpectedly.
  • Contact the appropriate authorities when fraud is suspected.

Boscov’s Furniture Delivery Complaints

To schedule or reschedule furniture delivery, call 1-888-696-8199.

Current published delivery scheduling hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

For a post-delivery issue involving furniture or a mattress, call 1-888-267-2687.

Post-delivery problems may include:

  • Visible damage
  • Missing furniture pieces
  • Incorrect merchandise
  • Mechanical defects
  • Assembly concerns
  • Mattress or foundation damage
  • Failure to complete an authorized haul-away
  • Property damage allegedly caused during delivery

Inspect the merchandise before signing the delivery receipt. Photograph visible damage and make sure the problem is noted on the delivery document.

Keep the sales receipt, delivery receipt, photographs, model information, and all communications with the delivery department.

Boscov’s Store and Employee Complaints

For a complaint involving a cashier, salesperson, department employee, fitting room, return desk, store condition, accessibility concern, or local manager, begin with the store manager.

Document:

  • The store location
  • The date and approximate time
  • The department involved
  • The general transaction
  • The conduct or condition being reported
  • Whether a manager responded
  • The requested resolution

It is generally unnecessary to publish the full name of a cashier, salesperson, or other local employee in a public review. Identify the person by role and allow Boscov’s to use scheduling and transaction records to determine who was involved.

If the complaint concerns the store manager or remains unresolved, call Shopper Services and request further store-operations or regional review.

Boscov’s Marketing Email Complaints

Customers who no longer want promotional emails should use the unsubscribe link provided in a Boscov’s marketing message.

If messages continue after the preference change has had a reasonable time to process:

  • Confirm that the email is genuinely from Boscov’s.
  • Save an example showing the sender and date.
  • Review the marketing preferences in the Boscovs.com account.
  • Contact Shopper Services at 1-800-284-8155.
  • Do not click links in suspicious messages.

Transactional messages concerning an order, return, credit account, gift card, or account-security event may continue even after promotional marketing is disabled.

Boscov’s Product Recalls and Safety Complaints

Boscov’s sells merchandise from many manufacturers. A safety issue may need to be addressed by Boscov’s, the manufacturer, or both.

If a product may be recalled or dangerous:

  • Stop using it when continued use could present a hazard.
  • Keep the product, packaging, tags, receipt, model number, serial number, and lot code.
  • Take clear photographs.
  • Check Boscov’s official recall information.
  • Check the manufacturer’s website.
  • Search the appropriate federal product-safety database.
  • Seek appropriate medical or emergency assistance when an injury has occurred.

Do not discard a potentially defective product before confirming whether it must be photographed, inspected, returned, or preserved as evidence.

  • The department or service involved
  • The general problem
  • The support route used
  • Whether a manager or supervisor responded
  • The resolution requested
  • Whether the concern was ultimately resolved

Boscov's Binghamton NY Disappointing Experience

July 7, 2025

Boscov’s, Binghamton, NY 7/7/25, Hot hot hot store. NO air conditioning in the store! It was most uncomfortable and very unpleasant! I felt bad for employees!! I can’t imagine a 6-8 hr shift in that oven! That store also needs a solid vacuuming! So dirty. Even the fitting rooms. Bathroom was good but floor needs good scrubbing. I love Boscov’s but the Binghamton store is old and needs improvements. Parking is much better and validating is appreciated. Love the Providence RI store! Great staff there.

Boscov's Disappointing Experience

March 11, 2025

Boscov’s, I came in with my husband to purchase a new pair of jeans for him. While shopping and when he was in the fitting room trying a couple of pairs of jeans on, the sales women were hovering without really doing anything except watching us to see if we were shoplifting. We picked one pair out and I folded and returned the second pair where it was originally. We asked for pricing on sneakers because there was no pricing on most of them. The response was to bring them up to a register. We weren’t about to pull every single box out and do that. When I walked up to the register, I smiled and the saleswoman gave me a very haughty look. I handed her two $20 bills and she shorted me by $5 when she handed me the change. When I looked at the receipt, it said I’d given her $30. Someone came over to audit the drawer. They said it was even. It wasn’t an actual audit. I’d know because I work in a bank. I was standing there patiently waiting and they started repeatedly telling me to “stop shouting” when I wasn’t even speaking. I feel they were attempting to get some type of rise or reaction from me, which they didn’t. I’m a professional and a very decent and educated person and this is not how I conduct myself. I returned the jeans at that moment and left the store and will Never make a purchase in there Ever again. I will also speak to all of the ladies in my neighborhood and around town about my shopping “experience” there.

Boscov's Easton PA Disappointing Service

February 3, 2025

Boscov’s, An employee Boscov’s would be better off without. On Sunday, February 2, 2025, my wife and I visited the Boscov’s at the Palmer Park Mall in Easton, PA to look for a purse for my wife’s birthday. After finding a purse that she liked, we walked over to look at some dress suit separates in the women’s department. As she was trying to make her selections, store closing announcements began, alerting us to the fact that the store would be closing in 15 minutes. She tried on the two or three jackets she found in her size and the “10-minute” store closing announcement was made so I took the items she wanted to purchase and headed to the register that was 20 feet around the corner. A friendly young lady helped me to purchase the three items totaling $174.97 (From my receipt: 278346 02/02/2025 17:51 REG SALE STORE 65 REG 2178 TRANS 41280 V18.10.08). I poked my head around the corner from the register to let my wife know that I had completed the transaction and she asked me if I had purchased both blouses that she had been looking at from the rack. Realizing that I had misunderstood, I told her that I had only purchased one style of blouse so she turned around to take the other blouse off the rack.

While I was confirming which blouse I had paid for already, a clerk who didn’t know the circumstances, yelled at my wife in a shocking tone that she needed to take her purchase to the register immediately. Shocked by how she was treated, my wife froze and I could see how upset she was by the treatment. I took the additional blouse to the same register that I had just been at a minute earlier and the bully employee came over to process the transaction aside of the lovely young lady who had just assisted me. The cashier who I was so unfortunate to encounter on Sunday evening sighed as she violently punched the register keys. I swiped my Boscov’s credit card and to get me to authorize the amount on the credit card device, she barked, “It’s waiting for you!” I authorized the amount and almost immediately she again barked to have me sign, “It’s waiting for you!” I don’t recall her thanking me (From my receipt: 256392 02/02/2025 17:53 REG SALE STORE 65 REG 2178 TRANS 41298 V18.10.09). My immediate reaction was that if this employee is so unappreciative that I am a Boscov’s customer, then perhaps she shouldn’t be employed by Boscov’s. I was so upset by how this angry woman had treated my wife and me that I asked my wife to wait for me in the car as I headed upstairs to Customer Service to request to speak with a store manager. I was told that “Heather” would be on her way to speak with me. Heather (department manager?) came up to speak with me and was extremely apologetic for the actions of the employee and how my wife and I had been treated. She assured me that she knew which employee had been involved and would follow up to report the behavior. Heather and the first cashier I worked with are employees that Boscov’s should be very proud to employ. In my opinion, any employee who treats two people the way that my wife and I were treated by second employee really doesn’t appreciate Boscov’s customers or being employed by Boscov’s. If I were not purchasing items that my wife had selected as part of her birthday gift, I would have immediately returned the nearly $300 worth of merchandise that I had purchased in the preceding 15 minutes. I hope that store management or the corporate office will follow up with this employee. I know that it is difficult to find good employees in today’s labor market but this is well beyond a bad employee. There is no doubt in my mind that she will continue to harm the Boscov’s brand. Please contact me if you need any further information.

seller couldn't find my credit card in the system for refund

November 19, 2023

complaint is regarding customer service at the Shoe Department at Erie Local Boscov’s store. On Nov.18th2023 at 9:15 ET sales person, Lou /she didn’t have a store ID on her, but I think I spelled her name right/, couldn’t assist me with the return, order #62116279 and complained she couldn’t find my credit card in Boscov’s system!?…… She asked me a few times to show the receipt, and I did. She told me multiple times to enter my cc to all Boscov’s machines on the twp ends of the desk. I did. And it still didn’t go through…..Finally, she left a line of people behind and said she couldn’t credit my card! And maybe I used a different card!!!………… I have never in my life experienced such nonexistent customer service for a store selling shoes because of seller Lou! When I asked for a Manager to help, she said there was nobody yet at the store and I could go to the front doors!!!….. Well, finally I found a real customer service associate at Man’s Clothing department and she credited my credit card within a minute. I always loved Boscovs”s. I think Boscov’s business is 5+ /five plus/ stars. But because of Lou, I rated it today minus 1 star. Hopefully, the Management of Boscovs LLC will find it helpful for the best of the business. Thanks
