    2. Nope I worked for Vans for over three years, employees will come in drunk, high, even tripping. Its not drug free and they don't do drug tests. very uncomfortable

  3. I bought a pair of Van's that started falling apart about a month later. I tried to contact their offices to complain, left message, and got NO response whatsoever. Van's quality stinks and it is a pale image of it's former self when quality meant something.

    1. I bought my grandson three pairs of Vans for school. He wears the same pair every three days. After a little over a month, they were falling apart too. This is not the first time this has happened. I tried to return them with a receipt and I was told that there is only a 30 day warranty on them. I am UPSET and will call the corporate office on Monday. Don't buy VANS, they fall apart.

  5. I placed an order by the posted deadline on their website for an arrival prior to Christmas! They said place by 12/21 midnight PST and using Fed Ex 2 day it would arrive by 12/24 BULL CRAP! I place it the order at 1:30pm (12:30 PST) an they didn't print the order for pick up until late 12/22 so it didn't get picked up until the 23rd Needless to say the package is supposed to arrive 12/26! I call and the customer service person said " Print the paper and wrap it up and give it to your daughter" ARE YOU KIDDING GIVE A PIECE OF PAPER TO A CHILD for Christmas! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WILL NEVER EVER GET ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN EVER!

    1. sad but true but van's use to be not just a trend to be left id the past I am sure if u can give then a little time that can revamp vans back to where it all started from with quality and not just quantity .
      I know there are several politics at play .The question will remain in the big wigs hands of wether or not they want to become a high priced 99 cent store with there shoes and products or recreate and vring back the quality many of us know and respected and the reason we purchased thee product in the first place

  8. I bought my teenage child a pair of Van's women's shoes and after a month of occasional use they fell apart, clearly Van's quality has gone downhill since the 80's when I was a kid. Too bad I will never buy Van's shoes again.

I guess we aren't the only ones having this problem. vans used to be good quality shoes...guess I will be changing to something else for my family. it sounds like they aren't interested in making it right. im gonna try it though.

  10. I wonder where Vans find the people they hire for events? Or, if they even screen and perform background checks. My son was assulted by 3 event staff members at the US open in Huntington beach Ca, these thugs were using gang terminology and kicked and choked him while being held face down. They threatened his life and got away with it for now. The police didn't even arrest any of them.

  11. WENT IN TO VANS TO BUY MY LITTLE SISTER A PAIR OF SHOES FOR HER BIRTHDAY AND RECIEVED THE MOST UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE. THE MANAGER CONTINUOSLY HARRASSED US ABOUT SIZING, SO WHEN WE FINALLY CAME TO A DECISION ON WHICH SIZE TO TRY FOR HER, THE MANAGER BECAME PISSY ON US. SO WE WALKED AWAY AND TRIED ANOTHER STORE. WE COULDN'T FIND THOSE SPECIFIC PAIR OF VANS ANYWHERE ELSE, SO I ASKED MY FAMILY WHY NOT GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE. ONCE WE GOT BACK INTO VANS THE MANAGER TOLD OTHER EMPLOYEES NOT TO ASSIST US (BASICALLY REFUSED OUR SERVICE) AND ALSO ATTEMPTED TO BRING IN OTHER CONSUMERS. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL IS THAT??? IF THIS IS REALLY THE CORPORATE WEBSITE, THEN THEY NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE INCOMPETENT MOODY MANAGERS. WHY WOULD YOU TURN YOUR CONSUMERS AWAY IF THEY ARE SUPPORTING YOU?! TRULY, WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT STORE AGAIN.

  12. Vans is the best! I use to get my shoes from the Vandorens when I was a kid living in Orange. The store was attached to their house and the shoes only came in two colors blue and white and they would last forever... Bruce MArtinez

  13. Vans SUCK at the highest level now. Last pair lasted 45 days with just normal walking. Had pairs last over 5 years before. Shitty job guys. Used to be a quality brand. Now just crap. Sad

  14. This company went down the drain in the matter of a few months. I first got hired and worked with amazing managers and coworkers. Felt happy and excited to work but once they left, the managers that were at the store started to act very fake. They gave us no hours, I literally worked once a week for four hours. They would cut my shift and say that we made no money but we made the goal that day. They show favorites and very obviously. They give more hours to the same three people and the rest of the employees do not work. WE NEED TO RESOLVE THIS. Make sure to see reviews on the store you work at before applying heads up.

  15. I don't know if you read any of these comments, but you really should.

    I bought a pair of shoes online and was sent the wrong size. I took them to the Capitola, CA store for replacement and was subjected to the most unprofessional "customer service" from a young "manager" I have ever experienced. After almost five minutes of arguing, he finally decided to approve my refund, slapped it down in front of me and walked away.

    It took all of my will to contain myself. I came so close to breaking his little face in front of his co-workers. I will NEVER buy another pair of Vans because of this.

    You people need to revamp your training program and think again before promoting some snot-nosed kid to the role of manager. What a joke!
