Reach Meijer Corporate Office 

Bought Meijer brand oatmeal! When I opened the box oatmeal went all over my floor only to find a package of my peaches and cream side package not sealed which spilled all over in the box. I am so disappointed because it wasted not only food but also money I spent to buy it. Regardless of the cost it was my money spent and I do not waste money or food. My kids are taught the same thing. I would like to know what can be done to keep this from happening again?

Hwy 26 Location in Lafayette, IN. I would give a five star rating, except that some of your gas pumps want us to prepay. First, we don’t know until we get up to the pump and ready to pump gas that it is prepay. Second, we are Meijer credit card customers. We always use our Meijer credit card when we get gas and most of the time for purchases in the store and at the pharmacy.

Personally, I think that the use of a Meijer credit card should override prepay. I really don’t think it fair that your Meijer credit card customers should be inconvenienced by initially having to go into the attached convenience store to give them a guess as to how much gas we will need and then go out and pump our gas and finally to go back in to get the unused guess credited to our card. Basically, your Meijer credit card customers should not be required to prepay. I hope that you can find an alternative to this for the convenience of your faithful customers. Also, before you renovated this station, we had occasional issues with the pumps not recognizing our cards. Yes, the cards are good with no problems. We had to go into the attached convenience store in order to use it. This was apparently a software glitch, at least according to one of your register clerks. I hope this was fixed with the renovation. So far we have not noticed it. Other than that, we are very pleased with Meijer. Thank you.

The customer service counter at the Grand Haven Store is deplorable. I went in with a Flat Rate box to mail. Not knowing there is a set rate. The lady behind the counter, did not ask if I was happy with $26 charge, I told her I did not want to pay $26 to ship a $10 item. In which time she told me that it was my fault and issue not hers and the charge is $26. So I go to pay with reluctance, and the computer went down, so now she it really upset, rips the postage off and throws the box on the counter and with a red face and anger says ” take it to the post office next time”. This appears to be common at the Grand Haven Meijer, bad attitudes, inconsiderate when asked a question, like we are imposing on them, with questions about a service or where to find or if they have a product.

Meijer Springfield Ohio has the Worst Management. Communication there is terrible. A lot of favoritism goes on in this store. As long as you keep your mouth shut there will be no retaliation. How ever if you say something things tend to happen to your hours, and your position.

Ed Staigers is a HORRIBLE man.. He does stuff on his own with out the company knowing. This man should not be in the position that he is in. I could go on.

Parking lot at “Home” door at Gull Rd store in Kalamazoo, MI! When I went to do my weekly shopping yesterday, I found that the first row of parking outside of the “Home” door does not have any cart racks anymore. I talked to an employee who said that upper management (from GR) had been there and took those racks away for the WHOLE row – didn’t know why they did it. As a retiree, I use that row to park every week so I can just drive out into the two-lane drive to get out of the lot – it’s much easier than backing out. Where are we supposed to put our carts when we unload – walk it over to another completely different row – trying to get the cart through without scratching parked cars? Luckily, this employee took mine, but I will start leaving them in the parking space before I try to maneuver thru parked cars. This makes no sense at all! Please put them back. The 1 star rating is only for the parking – overall, I love Meijers and will always shop there – but I’m not moving carts all over the lot so that upper management can add 3 new spaces to that row.
