CenturyLink Unacceptable Wait Time for Technician

CenturyLink, We had a technician out in November or December and the cable was broken half way between the house and the telephone box so he ran a cable on top of the ground because the ground was frozen. We called a couple of weeks ago to have someone to come out and bury the cable he said he would make an order out and left. Well a neighbor was mowing his grass and cut the cable so now we have no land line phone or computer. Now they said they are sending a technician out on Tuesday, and that’s not acceptable.

CenturyLink Disappointing Unresolved Billing Issue

CenturyLink, Billing Issues. My bill is always due around the 12th, and I paid it on May 9th at Fry’s Grocery store. Yet this month, I received a bill with an $18 late charge, which makes no sense. I’ve never missed a payment or been late, and I take my account seriously. What’s more frustrating is that a couple of years ago, during football bowl season, we were without service for two weeks; and there was no mention of a credit or rebate for the inconvenience. I’ve dealt with multiple customer service centers, and unfortunately, the experience hasn’t improved, regardless of location. It really feels like accountability and customer appreciation are lacking. I hope someone at CenturyLink will actually look into this and correct it. Long-term customers should be treated with more respect.

CenturyLink Disappointing Unresolved Customer Service

CenturyLink, Joe’s Auto Service Center Inc. My business phone line has been down since May 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM, and no technician has come out to fix the issue. I’ve contacted customer service multiple times, and they claim a technician has already been on-site—but that is simply not true. Our video surveillance system clearly shows the cable box (which is visible on camera) has not even been opened. No one has been out to inspect or repair anything. We’ve been told now it could take up to 14 days, which is completely unacceptable for a business that relies on phone communication with customers. Your service and communication have been incredibly disappointing. If this issue is not resolved by the end of the day, I will be forced to switch providers. My customers—and my business—deserve better.

CenturyLink, Poor service! My mother’s phone has been out for 21 days and they insist that it is a cable outage. Really??? And reaching someone is impossible. If you can avoid using them, please do!!

CenturyLink Disappointing Experience

CenturyLink, Unacceptable delay to fix my broken fiber internet service. On Monday 21 2025 my CenturyLink fiber 940 stopped working. After all of the usual technically unhelpful hoops were hopped through, it was determined that my line was dead and a repair truck needed to be sent out. An appointment was set for the earliest possible time of Saturday the 26th. Without Internet for 5 days is way out of bounds. I’ve been a premium service paying customer for over a decade, one of the first customers in my neighborhood, never a late payment. I have also never had any maintenance done on my line, which speaks volumes. Is it possible that emphasis was made on gaining customers and not on service of said customers? I asked for an escalation for the repair ticket, to no avail. This is not the level of quality of service I have become accustomed to over the decade plus of payments, and I’d like to lodge a complaint to the executive staff for what is likely a serious problem.
