Kaiser Permanente Question

Rated 3.0 out of 5
January 14, 2024

I have been trying to work for Kaiser Permanente since 1999. I do admit I stopped when my Mom took ill. Now I was offered a job, but it was in San Francisco. I couldn’t take it at the time, due to the fact my Father had taken ill. I know the first time the person in charge of hiring was Ms. Lawson. She was married to my Friend’s husband and she let it be known she wasn’t going to hire me. the rest, I have been trying since 2015.

Kaiser - No Charge For Light Therapy Then Suddenly They Made A Mistake Now I Owe $450.00

Rated 1.0 out of 5
January 9, 2024

I was told no charge for light therapy then suddenly they made a mistake and wanted to charge but waited to let me know this after I owed for 9 visits. So, I then owed $450.00 I went for almost two years being told at the window and office no charge then suddenly they did this. I understand they want to start charging me but tell me, so I have the decision to stop going. If I went 3 times a week, I would have to pay them $7020.00 a year. It would be cheaper to take a pill or do light therapy at home. They say I can use one of their light machines at home for free I don’t know If they may change their minds and charge me. I don’t know If I can trust what they say to me. They say in my claim they made a mistake but making me pay the $450.00 is like them saying I owe for two years which would be $14000.00. all I ask is to not charge me up until you let me know you made the mistake. at that time, I stop going to therapy…….I’m retired on a fixed income don’t charge me for your mistake. Is anyone listening? I didn’t make the mistake and they admit they did in my dispute claim in Gwinnett Georgia.

Attn. Kaiser Home Office - I Can't See A Specialist?

Rated 1.0 out of 5

I can’t see a specialist for over a month or call my primary physician?!! I have a complex health problem and am not able to find anyone in the network aside from urgent care or ER! Kaiser has been only offering rudimentary care that might be great for screenings but not for me. I have terrible pain and comorbid conditions that need a specialist and carefully applied knowledge and experience. I can’t explain it over and over to nurses and non-specialists. It’s hard to state and they don’t understand. I paid for medical care I’m not getting to use it. I am losing mobility!

Attn. Kaiser Corporate Headquarters - Why don't you have the RSV Vaccine until the end of Sept.?

Rated 4.0 out of 5

Grocery store pharmacy has RSV vaccine but Kaiser does not until the end of September/early October I have always been impressed with Kaiser and how Kaiser has always been proactive in preventive care until now…I am in my 70s, diabetic, and had a heart attack last year…TV commercials for the RSV vaccine are continual, but Kaiser doesn’t have it…The cost of care for someone who gets RSV is a lot more than a vaccine which by the way is $400 at my grocery store pharmacy…I would have given Kaiser 5 stars, but I am extremely disappointed in Kaiser at this time.

Complaint Department Kaiser Permanente

Rated 3.0 out of 5
May 26, 2023

To the CEO of Kaiser!

I am sick and tired of the failed attempts by Member Services to get things right!!! I have complained and filed grievances with this department over trying to get PT for my shoulder on which I had surgery last August 2022, with surgery conducted by Arrowhead Orthopedics in Redlands, CA. I have spoken top numerous individuals at Kaiser, in Fontana, Ontario and Baldwin Park, about this issue of trying to get clear that I DO NOT WANT PT DONE AT KAISER, OR ANY OF IT’S FACILITIES. I want to keep seeing the same surgeons who did my surgery and started my physical therapy in 2022. I need Arrowhead Orthopedics in Redlands and Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

I just received a letter by Email from Mr. Alberto H, who stated that my complaint about not getting PT at Kaiser would be fixed…And I responded with a nasty message that this is NOT what the grievance was about. here is what I stated on May 2, 2023; Time Submitted: 12:30:05 PM

“I have tried several times to get a straightened-out Referral from my Doctor at Arrowhead Orthopedics to Kaiser to get PT for my shoulder where surgery was done. Since December of last year, I still have not received any referrals to Arrowhead Orthopedics Dept of PT. My doctor at the Arrowhead facility has diligently followed through with protocol to get such services, but it has been screwed up by Kaiser over and over again! And it is delaying my healing process!”

Does this sound like I am complaining about getting services at Kaiser, or is it from Arrowhead Orthopedics? You be the judge! I am tired of the missteps and mistakes made by Member Services. They are a bunch of incompetent individuals who do not read well or are fully ignorant of the complaint!!! Or just don’t give a damn!
