Attn. Big Lots Corporate Headquarters CEO - No Common Sense by employees!

TO CEO Bruce Thorn, I recently visited Big Lots store #1789 in Carle Place, NY, and was disappointed with the checkout experience. With only two cashiers available, the line grew increasingly long. Despite the obvious need, no one seemed proactive about requesting additional assistance. It was only after several prompts from me that the Assistant Manager, Khadim Ishamel, arrived to address the situation. I’m perplexed as to why it falls on the customer to request help in such scenarios. This experience has left me questioning the operational standards of your stores. It’s essential for employees to demonstrate common sense and address customer needs promptly. The quality of service I received was far from what I expected from a renowned brand like Big Lots. I hope you take this feedback into account to improve the customer experience in the future.

I got on the chat line twice the first young lady was Angel she was courteous and wanted me to forward her a copy of the misprint. I informed her that I was not computer savvy and was unable to but I would try to print a copy and disengaged chat. I was able to print the misprint from my computer and got back on the chat line but I did not get Angel I got Kryzla She was indifferent and basically said it was a misprint from whomever and that they did not sell recliners for $2.99 I told her that I was retired from retail and that I was just letting Big Lots know that there was a mistake on the pricing and customers can be nasty at times. She replied can I help- you with anything else. Felt as though she really is not looking out for Big Lot’s
