On Sept. 13th my account was banned because of an iphone cash hack. I do not own an iphone but have yet to receive my farm back. Zynga has done this to several hundred players. We are hiring and attorney and going to the media

ReplyDeleteOh Yes, Zynga Poker found itself another sucker and after a week of battling with the NO SERVICE Customer Service I have yielded, BECAUSE my buddies keep sending me chips, challenges and expect me to respond.
ReplyDeleteI had 16M hard earned chips after playing the game for 2 years. I played a 1M SitNGo table for the first time and came in the top 3. I waited for the pop up stating I had won 1.8M chips. I exited to the lobby, looked at my chip count and it was 298M chips. Obviously an error so I IMMEDIATELY exited the game and shut down my computer. When I logged back on to Facebook and then Zynga Poker, I had 1 Chip. Friends' challenges started showing up and I had a couple thousand chips. I then contacted Zynga no-service-customer- service to find out what may have happened. Customer Service immediately deactivated my account and told me I had VIOLATED THE TERMS OF SERVICE. I have had a half dozen emails back and forth. Customer Service can not tell me what I did to VIOLATE the TOS or what TOS I violated. I was told if I accepted responsibility and admitted I violated Zynga TOS I could reactivate my account and I would have 10% of my chips reinstated. After 10 days of getting nowhere YES I have admitted Defeat, I have admitted fault and for all my trouble I have been given ZERO chips. My buddies had gifted 2700 chips that I will start with. Zynga NO SERVICE CUSTOMER SERVICE is a culture of bold faced, get out of our way, take no blame or fault liars.
Zynga Customer Service claims to have CAREFULLY reviewed my account and yet can not say what I was penalized for. I know they will slap me again one day and it will be permanent.
Zynga, your advertisers and shareholders will not be happy. Your clients will not be happy. I know I will probably play another week or 2 and then be a former player. So many buddies have disappeared off the tables in this past year. I now understand why.

DeleteI've been reading a lot of these comments and it's unbelievable to me how Zynga remains in business because of how they treat their players who keep them in business. I know its been going on since at least 2012, I'm one of their victims. I've had so many unresolved issues that they never fix, just throw a few little free gifts at you and tell you you're satisfied with how it was handled. I refuse to buy any more Farm Cash (I play Farmville 2) because it is taken from me every time, and I've been told by non-support to never contact them again regarding this. I have an ongoing issue now that they keep telling me didn't happen, but who is playing the game and is constantly aware there is a problem? I did like the game, now I only play because, being a member of a co-op group, I feel I would be letting the rest of the group down if I just walked away from the game. I have felt like leaving so many times because there are so many problems that they never fix, and are constantly adding more and more things to the game trying to appease the players. Now they go so far as telling you to reconfigure your computer if you want to play FV2, how crazy is that? They are constantly reversing their suggestions, such as telling you to disable your hardware acceleration and the next time you need help they tell you to enable it. Also they tell you to change browsers, I was using Chrome, was told to switch to Firefox because FV2 runs better in that browser. Now I'm told to try using Chrome to run the game better. And the biggie, its your computer, it's too old. The old standby, clear your cache and flash. I do this on a regular basis, I have a fairly new computer. Non-support has no idea what they are doing, each answer is taken from a list of response, it you 'say the magic word' in your contact submission to them, it triggers the 'correct' response from them. Any flunky can do it. At one point, unless you were a VIP member (paying $20 each month) you were not entitled to any support, they wouldn't respond to players playing for free. I support your sentiment and would like to help in any way I can.
DeleteWhen I tried to telephone Zynga via an 855 "area code" telephone number, and also via its 1-(800) telephone number, I was unsuccessful. The first one, the 1-(855) number, was, presumptively, a residential phone number; the 1-(800) number listed for Zynga "sent" me to a (possibly racy) company that, I suspect may not have had anything to do with Zynga. Both incidents lead me to wonder one thin: WHAT IS ZYNGA TRYING TO HIDE?

ReplyDeleteA week ago in FV2, I had accumulated enough coins to "expand". I hit the expand, Zynga took my 5,500,000 coins and still can't expand.
There is absolutely no way to get in touch with this company that isn't convoluted to the point of frustration.
I have sent several tweets to no avail. I have used some real money for these games, thankfully, not a lot and will never spend a cent on them again. I can't imagine spend hundreds of dollars only to hit no resolution.

Zynga states that on December 31, 2020 they are going to shutdown Farmville. They state the reason is because Adobe Flash is going away and the game will no longer work. Now I'm no lawyer but have enough common sense to know that since people have invested hours and lots of money playing the game...Zynga can be held liable and answerable to those who have spent millions of dollars purchasing farm dollars. I think players need to join together and bring a class action suit against them. I'm sure there must be a lawyer that would be willing to take a contingency case.
