  1. I guess excellent customer service has went out the door. I had a service tech come to house to inspect my mattress which I purchased in 2009, spent $1900 and its sinking. The technician was an rude unprofessional jerk (Casey). I have shopped at Value City Furniture since 1998 and never had any complaints.

    1. I prepaid $100 on the Uber app to ensure that I had no problems while travelling. On 7/30/17 I attempted to prearrange a pickup for the following day at 0700 for a 0900 class that was essential to upgrade my professional license. I was unable to schedule a pick up and received the message
      request failed, please enter new payment method.  I contacted UBER help who assured me that they were having trouble with prearranged services and should have no problem the following morning. The following morning I received the same error messages (it was also linked to my credit card and PayPal.) Despite being told over and over again that they had fixed the problem, I missed my class and to this day it hasn't been rectified. I ended up missing day 1 of  my course and it cost me an additional $200 dollars to make it up. I have been attempting to obtain a refund and UBER has continuously failed to refund my account despite almost daily communication  via email and the help application.  This company is absolutely horrible and  customer service is non-existent. Lyft is a much better and reliable service.

As a very satisfied former Uber driver I have come with an idea that I feel would/could behoove your already amazing company and the Rider Sharing drivers alike. I am attempting to put together a program within our company that extends a wonderful discount on the auto services specifically for Uber drivers. These cars do go through difficult times. When these cars have issues, drivers are taken off the road and the expense can be stressfull. We will offer Uber automobile buy-backs with discounts on newer models as well as Oil changes for life, Va. State inspections complimentary, and handsome powertrain warranties. This is not a sales pitch, guys. It's a pragmatic solution to the barrage of drivers that has hit a demanding market of alternative transportation. A market that Uber has addressed very well. I would love to share my thoughts and hear yours...if you are interested. I'm asking because we are interested in attaining whatever permissions are necessary to pursue a marketing campaign specifically designed towards Uber drivers that may face auto difficulties that may be addressed at a considerable discount. Thanks for your time and I look forward to your ideas.

    1) As Uber drivers cars age they will eventually start failing the Uber auto requirements. We will purchase Uber specific autos for trade on newer used/new models.

    2) We will offer Uber specific discounts on alignments/brake service/ and a variety of service needs to keep your drivers on the road safely and profitably.

    3) On any purchases/trades, we will offer 5yr/100K mile powertrain Warranty, Oil/oil filter service for life, and complimentary Va. State inspections for life.

    4) We will offer a discount on any new Uber specific vehicle trades/purchases as well as perhaps, (for example) "first monthly payment on us" for used Uber Specific vehicle trades/purchases.

    **we are a Virginia based company and have been in business for 63 years***

  4. Just drove home from what I had hoped to be the beginning of my partnership with Uber. Only to be let down by a snotty kid running the Uber 101 seminar in West Haven CT. I was all signed up and ready to drive. I had a few things to take care of before starting so about 3 weeks went by. I attempted to access my account and found I would need to load everything again. Well, I wanted to go to the seminar and be sure this is what I wanted to do. It turned out that my car is one year too old. If this is the case. What was I told 3 weeks ago that my account was active and I can start "making money"? My 2003 Dodge has only 68,000 miles and was good enough 3 weeks ago but not now??? What a shame. I was going to make us both so much money. Sadly I will look elsewhere. Oh your CareerBuilder ad said 2003 just one month ago. Might want to fix that.
    I took a day off from my full time job and rode in bumper to bumper traffic for 45 minutes to attend this seminar. Lost a quarter tank of gas as well.

  5. Absolutely atrocious customer service/customer experience...no one answers the Corporate Phone Number: 1-415-986-2104 not even an automated phone system? The Customer Service Number: 1-866-576-1039 has a recorded message that directs you to an email address then disconnects. The Uber Support Email address: [email protected] starts a huge time wasting back & forth email dialogue with no results other than frustration. I asked repeatedly for a call from a representative and was ignored. Warning: If you have ANY issues (BIG or SMALL or Administrative) with Uber you will not be able to get in touch with a live human, and that is a concern. Will close my account and go back to yellow cabs & car services.

  6. my name is leon shackelford there has been two charges of 8 dollars and 35 charged to my account in the past two days from san fran ca....im located in the state of rhode island and i have fraud and ive been calling all the uber numbers in the area and can not reach anyone this horrible customer service and also identity theft i hope someone can contact me about these transactions at [email protected] asap this is unacceptable....

  8. I am having similar problems with Uber. Have never used the service in my life, but Uber ran 7 charges on my credit card. There is no way to get through to them to get this cleaned up. The concept is great, the customer service gets a big fat ZERO.

    We noticed that UBER does not have a person that can actually respond to any problems, when we call customer service no one ever answer and it is always a machine directing to send emails.
    As a driver disputing fair adjustments is a waist of time sending emails that no body responds and if someone responds takes a while to resolved the issue.
    I also have to point it out that if a driver continue disputing an issue, the driving privileges get suspended with out any warning or valid reason.
    Can someone look into this, this is happening frequently.

I wanted to complete my application to start driving while helping my friend who has been driving for uber only to be told I couldn't collect the $200 sign on fee and my friend couldn't collect her $500 bonus because I had 2 different sign on in the system...Then to go have my car checked but have to pay $20... I feel like I'm being scammed.How often is this happening to customers who are helping build your business?

  14. Uber is the worst company in the world, must be running by a bunch of pot heads in SF. their phones are -- Either busy or nobody answering it. Even in the middle of business day --- FRIDAY ---, WORST OF ALL NOBODY IS ANSWERING THE PHONES IN THEIR HEADQUARTER --- TELL ME TO USE EMAIL TO COMMULICATE, UNFORTUNATELY NOBODY EMAIL ME BACK AFTER 3 HRS. NO MORE UBER GO LIFT.

  16. I am attempting to drive with Uber. I have leased a vehicle but for over a week it has been sitting at Oursman Fairfax Toyota (Va) in a hold status so that Uber Xchange Leasing can clear the old tags. In the mean time the meter is running and I owe money for that vehicle. I have sent many e-mails to Uber, Uber Xchange Leasing and been on the phone with Oursman Toyota on a daily basis. All met with no help or e-mailed back telling me to go back to the web site where I started. If anyone at Corp does review these comments can you please help rectify this problem so that I can get on the road and start earning some money..??

  18. I am a very unhappy customer with your Uber service after being a long time customer. My bag, wallet and cellphone were left in an uber vehicle on Friday, Dec.17 at 6:53 in Orange county and have not got any response from your driver at all. My phone was abandoned and my very expensive purse and wallet, credit cards and cash were stolen. The driver has not bothered to respond at all, which is very suspicious. I need a call back immediately 310 666 9387.

  19. Am unhappy driver I was deactivated because of my ratings . Really sad when see all these unhappy comment that have been made about user. Would like fine out the real reason why deactivated. Did everything you ask and even taking the courses over and over and even asked for addition help and succession all you kept telling is same thing video said to do. Tried be best uber driver was nice to my rider. Also am very quiet person let the rider have there time if needed. Even started figure out that all have to is relax around them .Around the city of San Antonio. I was going through great deal of bad things when was driver for uber felt that had be out in those time to. Not sure why you deactivated me . How can you except a driver to improve on her ratings when don't tell them main reason rider would comment on

My name is Kenneth Riley and i have been a vip rider april 2016...When i first signed up for uber i linked my paypal mastercard to my account and have been paying by loading paypal my cash cards to my uber account or buying uber gift cards and loading them by promo code ....My balance on my account 9402308613 is 205.41 credit....i took a ride home tuesday evening ...When i tried to login to my account thursday morning it said my account was disabled ...i reached out to uber support and they ask me to take a picture of my state issued id to lift the hold on my account ...i dont take pictures of ids or passports thats cause for identity theft ....i ask them if they would lift the hold so i could contnue being a vip uber rider to no avail....I explained to them my paypal mastercard linked is proof of who i am and then they requested bank statemants to prove the credit card belonged to me once agin red flag to me i then asked them to delete my account and refund my gift card credit which i paid for cash and they replied gift card balances were non transferable and non refundable and they couldnt delete my account until it was proven it belonged to me.....Ive reached out for someone withuin uber to help me in this matter and have gotten nowhere.....Please Help...

  23. So I tried driving for UBER for 30 days. I got a tax form that says I made over $200 more than I did. Now, I can't reach anyone to help me correct it. UBER customer service for drivers is horrific! The customer service number tells you to send an email, then the email is returned as no good!

  24. Uber made MISTAKE somehow, called my husband that car was outside when he had NOT ordered one, then billed him. When he complained, they did NOT refund the whole charge!!! They kept $5 he could use as "credit." WTF? He NEVER USED THE SERVICE!!! Is that how they make $$$??? And there is NO WHERE to complain. They only give THEIR choices of situations and they didn't fit this. 0 in customer service!

  27. UBER is very dysfunctional. An easy elimination of your competition or disliked driver. All you have to do is text UBER that the driver is intoxicated. That is all it takes, regardless if they are intoxicated or not. Just tell UBER the driver is intoxicated and he will be bumped in 10 minutes. SHOUT OUT to taxi drivers, LYFT and everyone who dislikes the consumer rip offs perpetrated by this dysfunctional cheating organization.

  28. once again got ripped off after months of not driving w/ uber & also dropping my ubereats service....other drivers told me that there had been app issues that may have accounted for the non-payments of surge/boost fares....(I had sent in the rides that were applicable to the help screen on my phone only to be told by the local tech team of uber that I was incorrect & the correct fares were paid...then I reached out nicely to the uber f/b team & then agreed w/ me & compensated me for the differences...)...I realize how corrupt the policitians are here in New Orleans so I guess the apple doesn't fall far fromt he tree, b/c the uber team here must have come from the same tree....so yesterday I decided to give them one more chance & drove all day in the Essence Fest traffic mess that occurs here during the big events, & drove as best as I could on the back to back rides given to me, not noticing the fares (I was too busy doing my job of giving good service to the riders), while navigating as best as I could thru the traffic snafus to "rescue" all the riders from the heat & the crowds....only to notice at end of day that none of my fares were surge payments, but only $4 fees!!!!!!!!!!!...I was so upset that I gave up a good day of driving w/ Lyft that pays surge fees....then I responded thru my help screen only to be told by uber reps that there was no surging going on!!!!!...the whole city was red all day on the google map!!!!...that means surging!!!!!...so as I did the last time & complained to the CA f/b page, who also at the time told me I was correct & reimbursed me for the unpaid fares, I am now reaching out to this page, as I no longer can find the uber fb site....I need to be reimbursed for all of my efforts & drives in & from the city of New Orleans....

  29. I was out of town and had a dog sitter at my house. She hired an uber to pick her up one day and the driver hit my garage and dented it and never took care of it. I am trying to get a hold of corporate UBER so someone will pay for this. Does anyone know how I get a hold of them

I had a schedule pickup 5am to get to the airport in Sandfor Fl., 5 min before there due to arrive i get a notice the credit card did not work and they cancelled., i immediately called the Bank and they told me UBER declined the payment and my credit card was valid., i tried again, and again Uber declined the payment and again the bank confirmed it was uber that backed out., The cost was 76.00 to sandford, and my believe is that the driver decided it was not worth it and declined my payment with credit card., I missed my flight,i feel foolish i would trust uber showing up 5am in the mng, and have evidence that UBER on purpose declined my credit card. As everyone on this site confirms, they on purpose do not have customer service, and be warned if the decide to back out all they have to do is say your credit card does not work... they are a scam, maybe it works for most people but again be warned , dont rely on a company that no one can talk to directly., i had to pay for another ticket Sept 23 2017 M Mccue

  31. Wow, will not be using Uber again. My driver made up the route, miles, address and just added to my fair. It should have been $22 instead it was $55!! None of the information reflected my route! What a scam and waste of time and money. Uber and Uber drivers cannot be trusted.
