Koons Ford Baltimore Terrible Customer Service

The battery died in my 2016 Ford Edge. The keys in the keyfobs were not keyed to the doors. It’s been a month since I had it towed to them and they still haven’t been able to get into my SUV. All I have heard from the service advisor Justin has been a bunch of bull…. This guy has no clue what to do and apparently neither does anyone else in the service department. It’s cost me over $1000.00 to take UBERS back and forth to work for the past month not to mention the time I have missed from work because of this crap. I have been a loyal customer of this place for over 20 years and I have bought 2 cars from them. I won’t buy another Ford or car from this place.

Koons Kia of Woodbridge is the worst service department I have ever encountered. I check engine light had it towed in and they did a fuel injection cleaning and spark plugs. claiming that would fix it. got there to pick it up and it wouldn’t start. they then claimed battery. I drove it for 2 months before it was doing same thing after paying $1,141.00. I had them tow it in . I was told by one that it was a engine recall and it would take 4 weeks. next business day service manager called and said Kia won’t cover because of code given. so mgr decides to do the same fuel injection cleaning and spark plugs. after having several words with him about how that makes no since to do the same thing find out what it is. He wanted to make sure it got done because he was a new service mgr. I expressed if you have no faith in your mechanic how can your customers. he expressed this would get it back on the road but it looks like it’s the engine but Kia won’t cover it so it got done again to get it running. A BANDAID… he then said drive it and bring it back if I have issues. the third time they express the engine code is saying catalyst converter and conveniently it went over warranty. 2,000 miles. but the first 2 times I brought it in for the same problem when it was under miles… the invoices given for each visit the first two had incorrect mileage information didn’t state the engine code found meanwhile the last one has correct mileage and engine code found. the entire experience was disrespectful, unproductive, and costly. From August 2022 to April 2023. the professional mechanics can’t fix a car that they are trained to do.

RUN THE OTHER WAY TAKE IT TO GET SERVICE ANYWHERE BUT THERE. THE SERVICE MANAGEMENT IS THE WORST.. DISRESPECTFUL AND FULL OF LIES

NEVER USE KOONS KIA OF WOODBRIDGE SERVICE DEPARTMENT… ESPECIALLY IF YOU WANT YOUR CAR FIXED.

Koons Ford at Security BLVD, Baltimore MD is a bad dealership to go to. They sold me a Ford Escape with a bad transmission and the car was overheating. World don’t buy a car with only a 30-day warranty because it’s robbery if something goes wrong and you don’t take it back. I tried to take the car back in 30 days for issues of overheating and acceleration problems and no one checked the acceleration problems they said they fixed my car that was still overheating.Yr later my transmission went up and now they want to act like it’s not their problem and told me about some 8000 bill when we already paid 17000 for a piece of crap car.
