Key Food Amazing Customer Service

Rated 3.0 out of 5
April 17, 2023

This letter is long overdue and also odd in nature. Quite a while ago I lost a set of car key at Key Food Marketplace on Aguilar Avenue in Flushing. I had always had

old used cars and never realized how expensive car keys have become (even though mine is a 2000 Toyota).

I went back to the store to speak to customer service and was told that yes they have my keys in a small cardboard box of keys. They could not retrieve them.

Because the manager was not in. This took place in December and in January when I went back I was told that that box had been thrown out. From time to time I wanted to resolve this issue. I was given a phone number to call. I did call this number and asked if they could even just give me a gift card for my trouble. I was told that “no there wasn’t any department for this”

Last week my purse was stolen and as I now only had ONE key-it is now a hardship to replace my items.

I will enclose my police report and ask if Key Food could assist me as a goodwill gesture. I am a senior citizen on a small fixed income. This in no way reflects on my relationship with your store. They have AMAZING customer service and the most wonderful produce in town!!
