  1. You have the rudest people working at your location in Willowbrook, IL. I called three times and each time someone put me on hold without speaking. The fourth time I got thru, but whoever answered the phone has very rude customer service skills. I will not be eating there today because of this problem. Just thought you should know.l

  3. Went to the Giordanos that opened up in Matteson, IL on Cicero Ave. and Rt. 30. We were a party of six and to make a long story short, left with no pizza after waiting for an hour and 45 minutes. We were told when we were seated that the stuffed pizza could take up to an hour, because their oven is very small. We ordered a large stuffed and a medium thin, plus a salad and drinks. The salad was good, but gave us only 6 pieces of bread. After an hour we were told about 10 more minutes on the stuffed pizza. We asked for our thin pizza to be brought out. A half hour later we didn't receive our thin pizza and couldn't even see our waitress. We walked out. Other people sitting around us were not getting pizzas either, but it seemed the carry our business was moving along. We were dissatisfied and would not recommend your restaurant.

  4. This has to be the MOST over priced tasteless pizza I ever had! REALLY!!!?? $31.48 for a pizza I ordered by phone and PICKED UP!!??? It was a large sausage, onion, mushroom, & green pepper. The sausage was absolutely bland and the sauce tasted liked watered down tomato paste. They certainly charged enough per ingredient but the pizza barely had any of it on there. Hardly no mushrooms or green peppers. The crust was terrible as well!! It actually tasted like pastry dough or a very light barely sweet cookie. By the time I got to the crusted edge it crumbled like powder or saw dust!! Sorry Giordano's.......NEVER AGAIN!!! The person I shared this garbage with said the frozen pizza at 7eleven is 10 times better and less expensive. I AGREE! We each had about 2 to three pieces of this mess and threw the rest in the garbage!! I think I'll give corporate a call and see what they say. This review didn't even deserve ONE STAR!! But you had to leave at least one.

  5. I have always had great service at the Giordano's in Rockford, IL until last week. I had received a credit for 2 large pizzas because two previous orders were screwed up. I had ordered half baked pizzas to pick up and take with me into Beach Park. Both occasions I arrived to pick up my pizza and they were fully baked. I did not have time to wait on another half baked pizza being made. After it happened the second time I simply asked what I needed to do to ensure it did not happen in the future, at which time a manager told me my next 2 large pizzas would be free and that she'd enter it into the computer. About a month ago I ordered 1 of my free pizzas half baked. And then last Friday I ordered my 2nd free pizza half baked and was told I had no free pizza coming and they gave me the manager. The manager who then came on the phone was very rude. AND, he proceeded to tell me that he was the OWNER and the manager who I claimed gave me the 2 free pizzas was his wife as she was the only female manager they had and that she would not have offered me 2 free pizzas. Every time I attempted to voice my situation the OWNER RUDELY CUT ME OFF AND WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO TALK. He insulted my integrity. I have done business with the ROCKFORD GIORDANO'S for years both personally and professionally. I have given them a great deal of business. I am a person of integrity and I refuse to allow the OWNER of the Rockford Giordano's to insult my integrity. I did not ask for the free pizzas, I never raised my voice or demanded anything. The offer was simply made to me when I inquired about what I needed to do in the future to ensure my pizza's were half baked instead of fully baked when THE MANAGER MADE THE OFFER TO ME. OWNER OF ROCKFORD GIORDANO'S...YOU NEED MUCH TRAINING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BUSINESS INTEGRITY!

  6. OMG i just went to your resterant on pulaski rd.My son just granduated and it was late we wanted to take him out to eat ... Waitress DARCIA came after 12 min after sitting waitting for a menu we ask for a beer my husband didnt have a ID she didnt sever us beer we ask to speak with a manager she never told the manager to come to our table we seen the manager and ask him he se if you order a a beer and i see him drinking am going to chare you double and take it away from you so we waited and till she brought us our drinks then didnt give us straws i had to get up to ask for them them ...waited 55 min for the pizza to come while watching her bring out the pizza to other costumers who had just came 10 to 15 min after me WTF i called her ask were is my pizza she said it just got out ok .....it was cold this was a stuff pizza and the thin one was hot as a mother ????? call the manager over oncer again WOW ....No since complaning to the manager OSCAR wow this was like a big misstake he laught and stated that we are getting to be annoing and if we keep it up he we will have to leave and he will call the police .......two men had came in and ask for beer no ID were asked the waitress sat down next to them and was telling them our problem then the manager shakes there hand and brings them there drinks and stated on the house hahahaha wtf.... then we waitted and waited for waittress to come with bill or ask us how was everthing she just put the pizza on the table and left i thought it was to be cut for us we call manager and again we ask i we can get the check ......So he was mad and said we are trouble and we need to pay for food and get out he said he was going to call the police ok cool but give me my recipt ...... but insted another manager by the name of JOE came and said pay your bill and get out .......WHO are you Im the ower get out now but let us explan what happen no the only coustomer service is you paying my bill pay and get out ?????????? so we were going out to pay but he wanted id with my card once again i dont have one no payment so i said call the police ???? cause you are refussing to take my payment the police came manager stated that we didnt want to pay police ask what the problem and i explaned here is my card he refussed the payment i told the police look i have a party of 8 and the service was very very very bad pizza cold but we did ay 85.94 never never will i go i back with my husband bank card that didnt have a signture on the back plus he didnt have a ID but you needed one for a beer & to pay ..............TOP STORY IS LOOK AT YOUR CAMERAS SEE WHAT REALLY HAPPEN my 4 yr.old and 11yr old are very affected by this your staff ...your company are in deeded learning of customer service i will continue to spread the word around on you bad service ........................................

  7. Funny, I'm seeing no replys on this site on how they are possibally resolving these issues. Put in an order this evening so me and my daughter could have a pizza and warch a movie. Put the order in before 8:35 P.M. for delivery at your Oswego location. I know this becuase the confermation E-mail is time stamped.Called at about 10:17 P.M. and was told they never recieved an order. Samantha was the one I spoke to and told me that the order was bumped to the next day becuase it was done less than an hour and a half before closing. Time stamp on E-mail showed I had done the order well before the cut .

  8. Before the cut time and was told they had already shut down for the evening and they could not get me a pizza for this evening. Samantha rhen said she would then make sure that the order was cancelled and that the charges would not appear on my card. Had to go somewhere else for my dinner that evening. Happened on the 24th of October, 2015. Will give you guys one more chance, otherwise no more.

  9. I tried to contact the Willowbrook location... via phone and then email... emails bounce back and I no longer want to speak to any of them... This was my email sent... "I want to say I was very disappointed... I order the pizza off my phone... never once did I see anything asking when I wanted it to be delivered. I started calling the store at 9:30pm looking for status on the pizza... no one answered, but yet the message on the phone on online showed that the store was opened until 10pm. I called up until 10pm. The pizza then was delivered on Thursday at 11am, while I was at a funeral. I am not happy at all and will never use Giorganos again. My advice to you... adjust the online ordering so when people order from their phones, it doesn't show up at some add day and time. Thank you, your Ex-customer." *** If you would like to contact me to rectify the situation, Order No. 1330908 Dated 10/27 but was delivered 10/29.

    I had to send you a letter commenting on how disappointed I was with the quality of the Pizza I had delivered the evening of 12/12/2015. I have frequented many Giordano’s Locations and other Pizza Making Establishments and have never been given a Pizza that was made like the one that I received last night. I’m guessing that the regular Pizza Maker was not the person who made mine ? It’s no secret that what keeps customers coming back is Consistency of how the Pizza is made. Each bite and each piece should be consistent with the last one. The one that I received had chucks of Green Pepper under the Cheese that varied in size from that of a half dollar to strips two inches long ? The Onions were the same way. Talk about giving your taste buds a workout. One bite you could taste only Green Pepper and the next piece it was Onions. Maybe, I’m wrong and this is the “New” way that you now make Pizzas without chopping the ingredients up ? It certainly was my last one from you. CDB Pizza in Florida puts full Onion Circles and full Green Pepper Circles on their Pizzas, but they are equally spread over the whole thing. My Pizza was also lacking a consistent amount of Sausage too. I haven’t ordered or stopped into your location ever since I retired because of your current prices. Your location is only four blocks away from my home. My Order Taker and Delivery Driver were more than helpful. I suggest that you order a Pizza from Falcos on Cermak Road and see how a Carbon Copy Pizza is made the same every time. I’ve been eating them for over 30 years and never had a bad one. Jimmy’s in Forest Park is another place that has it together too. Every Pizza is made the same and tastes the same every time. Too bad they don’t deliver anymore.

  13. Tried ordering a pizza online today but the system wasn't working properly (from what they said) so I called my order in for pick up. When I got there they hadn't even printed out my order to make it. I sat there for 45 mins until they made our pizza. The manager said he will give me a free drink for the inconvenience. When my pizza was done I told the girl I would take a lemonade. This girl....with major attitude...said, "Soooo he's just giving it to you for free?" I said yes since my order wasn't even printed out. She just laughed and said okay. I've never met such disrespectful servers/cashiers.
    When I got home with the pizza we cut it since they didn't and it was raw dough inside and the crust was far from the buttery flaky crust your company is know for.
    This hasn't been the first time the Algonquin location has messed up not only our order but many of my neighbors as well. I passed by 6 pizza places while driving to this location. I'll be ordering from one of those places from now on.

  14. I LOVE Giadornos....on vacatuon in Orlando/Kissimmee we ordered a large pepperoni and a medium pepperoni for pick up. 47.00 and it was cold upon pick up.

    That's not the worst.

    My husband checked his credit card and saw a 57.00 charge. ..so I contacted the store and spoke with a nanager. I explained, he said he'd get back to me. Well I had to call again, the next night. He said he is refunding the difference, but at this moment I am concerned why my card was over charged in this day and age of so much fraud and credit card theft.

    As nice as the manager was to refund, I feel as I deserve an answer. I feel like my card is not safe after use there. Plus, I'm told my refund will take 7 to 10 business days.....why????

    This has left me unhappy with one of my most favorite restaurants, and it will be hard to get hubby back in.

    47.00 for 2 cold pizzas and someone getting a bonus? Unacceptable.

  16. I wanted to take this time and say a special thank you to Nicky at the Matteson location. Nicky was wonderful. I had an issue with the pizza sauce and she explained what was going on and assisted with making me and my son happy. She also went above and beyond and assisted me with some crushed ice. She saw that I was eating ice and she said I have something for you. We had a good laugh about it. I thank her for taking the time to pay attention to her customers and having patience. I am sending a letter to corporate to inform them about a valued employee.

  18. Recently went to Giordanos on Lincoln Ave for a tiramisu cake. I was given a tiramisu with fuzz. Called Giordanos immediately and spoke with the manager Jennifer. Her first response to me was, it was impossible to have fuzz and had to be ice. WRONG! It was old and when I had a piece the tiramisu, it tasted sour and the side of it looked grey. The manager Jennifer did not apologize and made it seem something like this could never happen. I felt as is if she was accusing me of lying. I went back to Giordanos to confront Jennifer about her terrible customer service and to show her the disgusting fuzzed tiramisu. She grabbed it and said it looks like an ice crystal and said she would take a picture and disappeared to the back without any apology or remorse for serving unsafe food. Long story short, I was very disappointed in this new location. As a result of the poor customer service and because of the incompetence of this manager and her clear disregard for food safety, I will be contacting the FDA so that other patrons do not have to go through something like this.

  19. We have been in Oakbrook for 2 years and have been told horror stories about the location near us. Well, we were dumb enough to try. We called our order in at 11:07 and it is 1PM now and still no pizza. We have called 3 times where we were placed on hold for 15 minutes and they were so rude. I always went to the one in Naperville and will never again. I do 100 of conferences a year to discuss customer service and this will be the one I mention over and over again. I will never give them a cent of our money again

  20. We have just finished reading these comments and I have to say our experience was the same, BAD SERVICE! The manager was just as rude and unresposive as the 2 dozen employees just standing around. All we wanted was to pick up a thin crust pizza, first was told it would take 75 min, we ordered at 3:00. We said forget it. Then they called back and said 20 min, we said ok. We waited for 30 more minutes than the quoted time and everyone was lazy and unresponsive. When we finally got our pizza, the receipt was for someone else's order! Really terrible service at the Schaumburg location. I'm sure no one cares, but still had to share my bad experience.
