  5. what is the since in having a phone number if you never going to contact anybody back it does not make any since to me. I have at least 6 messages to contact me with a phone number and my name. If I had to rate Backpage service 1 to 10, I would rate -10.

    1. I've been a bp client for over ten years and never seen nor heard of any of the issues you describe. Maybe YOU'RE only dealing with scumbags because YOU'RE a scumbag. I've always had a great experience with bp so most likely, you're the problem.

      BP merely provides (generously,I might add!)
      you and I with a platform on which to host our advertising.
      YOUR ADS, and YOUR screening, and YOUR selfworth are what determines the type of patrons you attract. If you are a better quality provider, you'll have no problem attracting better quality clients and weeding out the creeps.
      All backpage does is give you the freedom to conduct your business the way YOU want, so don't blame them if you're screwing it up.
      And trust me babe; you DO NOT want Backpage taken down because without BP your only other option is to deal with the wannabe-pimps at eccie, and you don't want that.
      You'll figure it out.

  11. Ripped off by backpages! be very careful as they overcharge then claim that because you didn't 'unselect' a so called 'default' option (that was never the default before) that it is your fault and then refuse to refund

  14. Backpage really sucks. Keep getting an "OPPS" when trying to renew ad. Have already sent $20 to posting solutions. Been sending emails and using their response form for the last 4 months with no reply..so I've lost $20 and bit coin is a total rip off.

I'm not sure what is going on but as of 2pm yesterday I have been reposting my ad and have received emails stating that it had been posted to find out that I can not be found anywhere on backpage. If I Google my phone number NONE of the ads I've ever posted show and I have been using BP for 2yrs? I have contact support via email and am waiting for a response. Has anyone else had this happen?

    2. I am going through the exact same thing right now. Posted 7 ads yesterday and they show as live on my account page but are not actually on the site. This happened last week for as full day but then the next day all was back to normal. Are your ads still not posting?

  21. I added funds to my acct 24hrs ago and they still have processed or posted to my acct. This is very frustrating, and there is no 24hr customer support solutions phone ## I NEED ANSWERS TODAY, y'all causing me to loose $$

  22. Customer Service is Nasty, Uncooperative and Stupid. Help is non-existent. Been Posting 110+ individual Ads for 110+ individual items or Group of items once every 60 days in 1 city for 3.5 years. For that, last month, I was designated as a Spammer by those imbeciles at Backpage, had my ads removed and my Account Closed. According to Backpage's own TOU my postings are not a TOU volation (Post an Ad only in 1 City. Post an Ad only once every 7+ days). According to the imbeciles at Customer Service TOU is irrelevant as I mass posted 110 Ads over 5 days last month. Forget that each Ad is for an individual item or Group of items posted once in 1 city. Forget that I last posted each individual Ad 60 days earlier in 1 City. Backpage views me as Spamming with 110+ Ads. What morons!

    1. Had similar experience on Backpage Richmond. Been posting 30-40 individual ads each for a separate item once every 30-45 Days only in one city for 2+ years. 2 months ago Ads were removed by Backpage. Account Closed. Told I was a multiple Spammer by Customer Support. Then, Amanda Fields, a Dallas Based National Accounts Manager, solicited me to become a Paid Ad subscriber, which according to her, would resolve all my posting problems. When I told her I was not a Spammer according to the Backpage TOU, which Anonymous correctly states, and I wanted my current problem satisfactorily resolved first before I'd even consider a Paid Subscription, she became Nasty, Angry, Argumentative and told me, "Never contact me Again". And she solicited me! Talk about having Brains up your Rectum.

  24. I tried to post 6 hours of ads through my celium wallet for bitcoin. Backpage shows a Qr code for me to scan.they accept the funds and my ads never show even though it confirms payment and gives me confirmation codes on my phone.. I keep emailing them and they wont reply. If they dont correct this I cant post again as IO am scared I will get more of my funds taken without my ads posting. I have other friends telling me this is happening to them to and back page wont answer them.

    if they genuinely gave a damn about keeping women& girls safe, there are so much worse websites they could be targeting.
    but because it's nothing but an asset-forfeiture moneygrab, those sites are safe while bp takes all the bad publicity.
    they are presenting every cautionary measure bp uses to try to maintain safety as a threat against us/kids, and it's sickening to see such vile hypocrisy masquerading as "law-enforcement".
    dear carl, hope the jail food wasn't too awful. thank you for taking a hit for us, even if it was only to protect your profit-margin; we love you anyway.
