Im furious with this company, I went in to buy 2400 sq ft of tile from my local store in pembroke pines last week tuesday. they didnt have the same shade so i wasn't going to purchase the tile, i figured id go somewhere where they would have the same tile. the sales person spoke to his manager and told me that if i bought the tile now they would have it ready for me MAYBE by thursday the 13th of august yet if not the GUARANTEED it would be in by friday for sure coming from what they called "port". Sunday and no call so i contact them before i drive up there with my trailer to pick up the 4 pallets of tile and they keep me on hold for 28 minutes which i took screen shots of it while being asked 4 times in-between if i could get helped and transferred each time to no one. at this point I'm fuming, i finally get on the phone with there warehouse at the location for them to tell me they're not sure when it will come and that i shouldn't have been promised anything.
      now its monday i have 5 tile settlers leaving my home, no tile installed and lost 750.00 because i have to pay the workers by contract because i was told the tile will be ready, #2 i spent all sunday pissed off and on hold #3 now my job gets pushed back till god knows when !
      i may NEVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM THESE PEOPLE AGAIN....

  2. My credit card number was stolen from your pompano store. Used it on November 25th, 2014 and then it was used online Thanksgiving Day by someone !!!!!!!!!! FRAUD ALERT!!! Just giving you a headsup

  3. Charges were inflated on online order. Called 800 customer numbers and corporate. Recording says number not in service and no one picks up at corporate office. Local market stores answered after 30 min of trying. They don't have a clue. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

  4. Promote people with no experience over 4 employees with qualified experience. Unsafe work environment. They have you lifting tile and flooring with no steel toe requirement. Can you say lawsuit.

  7. BEWARE!!! They overcharge people all the time and will not refund.
    I bought tile at the Sugar land Texas store and the manager will not talk to me and refused to refund my money. They have the the wrong price tags and won't give a refund.

  8. Do not ask to speak to a manager at the Atlanta location. I was on hold the first day for 45 minutes and on the second day, I hung up after an hour. I looked up the CEO's number in the corporate office and the lady who answered the phone there was very helpful. I do not understand how they operate a business without answering the calls...so unprofessional! I was calling because of a mistake they made with incorrect inventory listed in the system.

  9. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE STORES!! The salespeople are not knowledgeable about the products, and will steer you in the wrong direction and no signs exist explaining the products. Example: if you have pets or children, this is not the floor for you - it is a soft wood and scratches easily. The store has NO customer service and will tell you to hire their inspection team (which they claim is independent), who will tell you the floor meets all the specifications. "The reason the company asks the customers to pay for the inspectors is that the company cannot afford to pay for these inspections". Where many stores will work with customers, especially if they make a mistake, THIS COMPANY WILL NOT. It is not a place to do business with and you do so at YOUR OWN RISK!

  12. Was looking at floors online, added to cart, noticed a 169.00 shipping charge. Called the store and when the floor would be in stock, about a week, awesome. Closed out my account, didn't process the order. Two days later I get a shipment confirmation email, but I didn't order anything. Called customer service to cancel the ghost order but it already shipped and I would not be refunded the 169.00 shipping charge. Logged back online to find the items still in my cart because it was never processed by me and no order history. I think floor and decor make their living by ripping people off
    Their customer service is horrid, their philosophy is the customer is always wrong and find any excuse to not refund their money.

  13. This company has no respect for people. They are about to open up a new location in Fort Myers, Fl.
    I was interviewed three times for a so called "outside sale pro" job they told me we will call you back.
    No call, no respect, not upset that I did not get the job, it was the lie and the lack of respect that made me feels bad. And the kicker was this bunch of jerks cannot even speak clear English and they request I took a three hour computer assessment test with questions that were made for a math and science professor at a top tier collage for a job at Floor decor. These people are not just jerks but very rude and nasty. Well, I say to them the respect goes both ways. Now I can use my true talent to tell everyone I know in the trade about this group of for better words the place never to buy anything unless those skilled tradesmen want to buy from dishonest people. I never in my life met people with the behavior of pigs. They all should just go back to where they came from. I can't wait to tell every person I know who knows two more about this group of A-holes who just think they are god’s gift to the world. The big boy came in from Georgia to interview me for my third meeting. Can you believe after three interviews they did not have the class to even call me and inform me the job was taken? I think that also is a lie. Anybody who buys any product from this company should have their head examined. I am not saying this because I did not get this job, I can deal with that, the fact they have no respect for people and treat them with total lack of respect only makes me want to go out of my way to inform people how bad this bunch is. I am not gaining anything by this note except to do the reader a favor and be honest and upfront. They are planning a huge open house event in Oct. 2015 at this store, a former K mart on Cleveland Ave. in Fort Myers, Fl. I will do my part in letting all the people I know not to go there and more importantly not to ever do business with Floor decor unless they want to deal with class-less people. Can you think about buying a product from people who are?

Not one of their staff can speak clear English. An example, I called in follow up to my second interview, it went like this. Floor Decor how I can help you, holds line Floor Decor oh, wait a five minutes and then its Floor Decor I can help you what you need. Very bright people. The guy from Georgia was saying how the company started in a parking lot selling product from the trunk of a car, Floor Decor go back to the trunk of the car and as far as Fort Myers, Fl. you do not have a friend in me and or all the people I know and have connections with in the trade. Do better, or better yet, don't even open up. We have enough good people here we really do not need another outfit that will only take advantage of people as you did to me. The door swings both ways.

      My husband and I are building our house, went into the Broadway and Kolb store in Tucson Arizona and was treated so rude by a cashier. Then I asked for a manager and while I was speaking to the manager about the complaint I had in regards to the cashier a customer came over and started chewing me out. The store manager just stood there and let it all happen, did not say a word. The store has horrible, disrespectful employees and and inexperienced managers. I would never buy anything from any of the Floor and Decor stores!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It's better than spitting on the side walk in front of the store. It is justice and my way of trying to protect the public from mistakes all in my opinion.

    Unprofessional Management, Payment Authorizations (Unsecured), Unprofessional phone service from staff. This company location is the worst I have ever worked with. Staff does not like to follow security measures when it comes to taking payments for purchases, or the pick up of purchases made from the online store. Failure to stand by their documented "Both the purchaser's valid US ID and purchasing credit card must be presented before any product is released", ended up costing my company $3600.00 for a fraudulent purchase made at their store. Store location allowed a random patron to use a CC# that was written on a piece of paper to pay for a very costly purchase with NO ID and NO CREDIT CARD IN HAND! Staff does not check systems or identification before giving out product or collecting payment. Management refuses to take responsibility and does not work well with customers or companies when an issue arises. Staff seems to be held unaccountable for numerous unlawful authorizations for purchases. When ordering online you must print out the order and take it with you. If they do not have all the quantity in stock or advise you to go to another location DOCUMENT IT! This store does not keep any type of documentation of products not in stock until you arrive at the store (Even when already paid for online and order indicates to pick up at store location). One incident the store was short 390 pieces of Bright White Wall Tile which was already ordered and paid for online. The manager "Naymia" stated we had to go to the Clearwater store to pick up the remaining wall tile. Which Clearwater stated they were never notified by the Brandon store and had no indication we were owed any merchandise. This company location is nothing but unprofessional, unsecured payment collections and a promise of problems with almost every purchase.

    I met up with their supervisors a the Reno Location for a design consultant job, they interviewed me for the 1st round and set up a date and time for the 2nd round of interview on the phone.
    On the day of the interview I called them to confirm the interview and to my disappointment I realized the position has been already filled. They had no curtesy to call and let me know about this. and when I tried to talk to them and explain that it was not fair, the supervisor spoke very rudely to me.

  18. I just want to make sure one of your employees named Tammy Mitchell in the Floor and Décor store in Arlington , TX is recognized for all of her hard work. This lady goes above and beyond her duties in helping the customers. She really knows what she is doing. I went into the store clueless on where to start remodeling my kitchen and bathroom and she helped me to turn my house into something that belongs in a magazine. Tammy deserves to be recognized for her talents-she has an answer to every question you may have and puts your wants and needs first. She does not blink and eye when you tell her that your budget is limited. This lady just works her magic and really does a WONDERFUL job and is always so happy to greet everyone. Thank you Tammy Mitchell for all of your help- I will tell everyone I know to come see you!!

  19. I've purchased so much tile from Floor and Decor with great results. Sometimes you have to hunt down staff for help, but you have to do that at any Lowe's or Home Depot...Prices are excellent and the quality is always very good.

    This store is absolutely horrible! Great selection, however the employees could care less and there is obviously no management or supervision. Every employee there acts as if they could care less! Seriously, you get better service from teen agers at a Dairy Queen. Go to Floor and Décor and you'll leave with paying for disappointment and frustration.

  22. Went to store in Jacksonville, Florida brought 583 sq ft tile, 25 lf bullnose, 12 lf decorative tile which they had staged and we had already paid for and had not picked up yet. Also bought 583 sq ft laminate flooring and 600 sq ft underlayment which they show had in stock but could not find the floor in the store but they said they could get it from the port. Called Thursday evening to see if it was there and they said yes, hooked trailer to go pick it up at 7 AM before the rain, when we got there they said it was not there. Asked to speak to manager and he looked at us like we had robbed him and did not say a word even the lady at the cash register said I don't know why we asked to speak to him it was useless. All we want him to say was he was sorry and lets see what we can do. His loss we asked for a refund on all we had bought over $1500.00. How does that make you feel JACKSONVILLE MANAGER?

  24. Purchase some tile samples for my kitchen. One sample was on clearance for $4.98, when we cam bac kto purchase a few days later the clearance tile was marked up to $10.89. We spoke with manager the on duty at the presenttime, Charles Taylor he was useless and rude. The associate there by the the name of Derrell has an offensive ordor on him and acts as if he owns the Floor & Decor. After going around with them for quite sometime about the price we still did not get the tile for the price we orignal purchased the sample for. They have away of over charging customers.....Stay away from the Jacksonville, FL store...

  27. I just read about an employee at your Highland Park, CO store verbally assaulting a customer with homophobic slurs. Such behavior should result in immediate termination and not be tolerated on ANY level. In addition, this victim was further attacked by a customer with no intervention to help the victim. This all happened in front of the victim's small son. Coincidently, my husband and I picked out tiles for our shower at your Santa Ana, CA location. I will be letting my contractor know that we will no longer be purchasing your tile. In addition, I will never be a customer of any of your stores. The only way this will change is if you offer the public and the victim a public apology and fire the employee who committed this grievous act. I hope you do the right thing....the moral thing.

You should have zero tolerance for such behavior on the part of your employees, who should represent your company to your customers and the community. It's in your business interest to deal with this employee swiftly and appropriately, to avoid hostile environment claims by current employees and boycotts from your customers.

  29. I have spent a lot of money in your Highlands Ranch, CO store, but I read a story about a manager that used a homophobic slur and was verbally abusive to customer. This has made me realize that for future flooring needs I will be using another company. This employee needs to be terminated immediately and other employees need to be trained better.

I'm an HR professional and the speech used against a patron of your establishment in Highlands Ranch, CO store demonstrates the kind of environment you encourage and the way you approach your clients. I would hope that you would hold your employees to the same standards required by law in their interactions with fellow employees to apply to client interactions. Across my years it's been clear that your handling of complaints of this sort is a clear reflection of the value you place on your clients. I hope that you would address this swiftly with the appropriate ramifications. If someone will speak this way in front of a child can you imagine how they would approach any other protected class that frequents your establishment.
