The Green Bay location on Oneida St, has the worst employee's, very cocky, unprofessional dead beats, You ask them something over the phone, and all you get is "Yep..."yep, like your bothering them I was very dissatisfied this time going there with my wife, both getting exams and glasses, we will not be going back there again!

  2. my wife had been an employee in good standing with this company for two years . she had repeatedly been promised raises but all she got were " atta boys " !! I got promoted and had to move . she was told that if she didn't stay and train a replacement for her position , she would be let go with no chance for a transfer to where we were moving too . wow !! by the way my wife is a minority and this store is in Trussville Alabama !! I will not be recommending anyone there or any of there stores here either . I will let everyone know how they treat there minority employees , especially the good , loyal , hard working ones . look for more comments on all social sites , everyone needs to know about how this company treats customers and employees !!

I totally agree with your comments about this company, I worked for this company over 10 years and always had good things to say about them..but when I needed their support"open door policies" I was told that the company chose to cut ties with me.I'm not even allowed to rehire anywhere with this company.so sorry to hear how your wife was treated.

  3. Went to the Trussville store paid my money,was told I would have my Saturday-March 12 at 4:03 was called 10 minutes before that time and told that my glasses wouldn't be ready. Told because they had broken 2sets of blanks, I would not get a refund. I told them it wasn't my fault they got broken. So I went to the store and was told they had broken yet another set of blanks. I had brought a different set of frames to see if that would help matters. Well it didn't work and I had to get loud with the my opinion so called manager just to get a refund. He still act like I was at fault for their inability for the people that worked for him and his self to do their jobs.
    My opinion and comment is to tell everyone that would like my opinion, to stay away from there.

  4. I recently visited the Eyemart express in Florence, KY office over the past week for an eye exam and to purchase glasses. I called my vision insurance provider, and they informed me that I did not receive a good deal. I would receive a better rate at an in network provider. I called on 4/18/16 at around 9:30 to cancel the order and wanted a refund. I was informed that I needed to come in for the refund. I was not able to come in until later in the week and asked that they call the insurance company to have the authorization taken off of my insurance so that I can go to another company. I went in today 4/23 at around 2:30PM and spoke with a worker at the front counter. I told her the reason why I was there, and she went to get the manager. I overheard her say "the black guy from the other day called about getting a refund on his glasses and he is here. Can you help him out?" I was VERY UPSET and asked her did she say "the black guy". She immediately apologized and said I didn't remember your name and that’s why I called you the black guy. I told her I did not think that was appropriate and she should have used other things to describe me to her boss. I thought it was very rude and comments such as that should not be tolerated in a place of business. My skin color had nothing to do with it, and she was not even remorseful. The manager did nothing about it since I was upset. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone and refuse to bring my business here ever. Some things you don't do. My skin color has nothing to do with me getting a refund, and someone needs to be reprimanded for their actions. There should be diversity training for employees. I don’t care if you do no remember a name, but refer to me as a gentleman, sir, guy, or something nothing the black guy. Also my ordered was not cancelled as I requested. They still billed the insurance company, and I had to call the insurance company to get this mess figured out. Never again will I come to this company. Very unprofessional and don’t value individuals as customers. When I say cancel an order, don’t bill my insurance company anyways.

  5. Oh wow!! This was sad to hear and it's unfortunate that great businesses happen to hire people who don't value their employment statuses. Some forget that they are a reflection of the office/ building on up to the company in itself. I'm quite sure or at least hoping that they will make immediate and necessary changes to their staff in order to keep & build their brand. It's a shame that we can not ignore the facts that sometimes service is different as a minority. I can say that as a minority & blind as a bat customer - I have received nothing but excellent service at the store located in Fayetteville,NC on Skibo next to Walmart. I have always been treated w/importance. Great prices and friendly & professional staff. It would be nice if people would not take jobs that they do not like. Deeper than that, if you do not like a certain race, gender or religion (that's your right) so don't become employees at establishments that have a mixture of such. It's easier said than done ( I know ). Just a thought... Good customer service is very hard to come by these days. So if you are in a customer oriented field - offer the best service & let's see if we can start a new trend lol. Have a great day!!

  6. San Antonio Tx ... been to the store 5 TIMES to get glasses replaced on WARRANTY .. WRONG glasses/ prescription EVERY SINGLE TIME .. this is unreal ..

  7. HAVE PURCHASED 3 PAIR OF GLASSES AND REFERED SEVERAL PEOPLE TO THE STORE AT NELSONS CROSSING, FAYETTEVILLE, AR. THIS PAIR WAS DEEPLY SCRATCHED ON BOTH LENSES WHEN THEY WERE BEING ADJUSTED. THEY ORDERED A REPLACEMENT AND I THOUGHT ALL WAS FINE. THEY PUT THE NEW LENSES IN AND WHILE ADJUSTING THEM SCRATCHED ONE OF THEM. THE STATEMENT WAS OUR TOOL IS BROKEN. THEY ORDERED ANOTHER LENSE AND I HAVE WAITED OVER THE TIME THEY SAID IT WOULD BE IN AND THEY WOULD TEXT ME. THE TEXT NEVER CAME. I CALLED THE STORE TODAY AND HAD TO HOLD A LONG TIME. THEN I ASK FOR THE DISTRICT MANAGERS NAME AND NUMBER, WAS TOLD TO HOLD AND THEN WAS DISCONNECTED. CALLED BACK AND THE MAN THAT ANSWERED SAID HE DID NOT KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT HE WAS THE ONLY PERSON THERE ?????? HE FINALLY TOLD ME THE DISTRICTS MANAGERS NAME AND I ASK FOR HER PHONE NUMBER AND WAS TOLD HE DID NOT KNOW IT. I WAS TOLD TO CALL 888DRBARNES (WRONG NUMBER TOO MANY DIGITS). I LOOKED UP THE CORPORATE OFFICE NUMBER AND I SPOKE WITH A LADY AT THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE NAMED MANDLENE (NOT SURE OF THE SPELLING) AND SHE WAS HELPFUL. SHE IS CONTACTING THE DISTRICT MANAGER. I PAID OVER $300.00 FOR THE FRAMES, LENSES AND COATINGS. I HAVE ASK A REFUND AND AM WAITING ON DISTRICT MANAGER TO RETURN MY CALL. FROM READING THE REVIEWS IT DOES NOT SOUND LIKE I WILL GET MUCH HELP GETTING A REFUND. DO NOT USE THIS STORE!!!!! I WILL WRITE MORE WHEN I HEAR FROM THE DISTRICT MANAGER.

  8. I bought new glasses a month or so ago for my 17 yr old daughter at the Eyemart Express in Champaign, Il. Today we went back in because the glasses kept loosening up and falling off her face. As we walked in an employee named Andrew approached with a smile and said, "Hello, welcome to Eyemart Express, what can I help you with today." I explained our problem. He said okay let me see what I can do. He took the glasses and was back with them in less than 5 minutes. He said that he changed the screws and also adjusted the frame so that they would be tighter. He told us that if there was anymore problems just to bring them back and if he couldn't get them to work, we could choose some different frames. She and I thanked him and left very happy. You've got a great employee in that young man!

  9. Rude clerk, was eating her lunch in Durham NC store. Would not listen to me and acted like I was bothering her. Refused to honor warranty on defective lens which were less than I year and should have been covered.
    She kept giving me different excuses. Second defective pair of glasses from this store. Reported to home office by phone and was told that the district manager was to call me back and never did. I am so disgusted.

  10. I would like to know how long it takes to get lenses ordered. I was told my Glasses would be ready 5-10 days this was on November 3rd. Today is the 14th and was told they aren't scheduled to be ready until 24th. That's a holiday so I'm sure they won't be ready then either. This is the second pair of glasses that I've gotten from Eyemart. This will be the last. Employer should say glass will be ready in two to four weeks instead of 5-10 days. Thanks for the horrible service. I won't be back.
