Brio’s Role in the Restaurant Industry

Brio stands out in the restaurant industry for its dedication to providing a genuine Italian dining experience, complete with a diverse menu of traditional and contemporary dishes, fine wines, and a sophisticated ambiance.

The Competitive Landscape of Italian Casual Dining Restaurants

In the competitive Italian casual dining market, Brio faces challenges from both large and smaller competitors. Major national chains such as Olive Garden, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and Maggiano’s Little Italy are key competitors, offering Italian cuisine in a similar casual dining setting. Additionally, Brio competes with smaller, regional Italian restaurants and local trattorias, which provide a more intimate and often authentic Italian dining experience.

Brio Disappointed Menu Issue

Rated 3.0 out of 5
February 9, 2024

Went to out local Brio. After dinner look at the dessert menu and ordered a vanilla Gelato that clearly had 3 scoops in a large bowl. What came to the table was a tiny single scoop in a cup. Really? Did you think I wouldn’t notice. Brio must do better. Upscale ambiance with low budget practices. Disappointed.

Brio HQ - Incorrect order to go, poor general manager of lying for credit and gift card!

Rated 1.0 out of 5

I have dined at Brio Tuscan Grill in Frontenac, MO many times over many years, always receiving good service and food. 10/17/23 I went there and ordered a Pasta Primavera to go. I was told 15 minutes. It was about 4:30 and there was no crowd dining at that time! My order took 45 – 50 minutes!

Not only was it a bit of a drive there (gas isn’t cheap) I hit lots of traffic on my way home! To my great disappointment, my dinner was not pasta Primavera! The sauce is basil, oil, pine nuts, etc. There was no basil, no pine nuts, no asparagus. I tried calling Brio for 45 minutes from my home phone and cell phone to no avail. The recording kept saying sorry for the delay, we’ll get to you. Very disappointed and starving from lack of time to eat that day, I tried one bite. The pepper and pepper sauce burned my acid reflex something awful with one bite. The next day I traveled back to Brio with the full meal, bread, fork, and napkin and asked for the manager. A guy in a white chef jacket came over. Managers usually don’t work in a kitchen, they wear a sport coat. He wasn’t overly interested and a general manager came out. He was a sharply dressed (working date 1017/23, 4:30ish). He said a credit would be issued from the main office and would show up in a day or two. He made a copy of my receipt, the food, and asked for my email address, and said a gift card would be sent. I didn’t understand that as my friends have gone there for gift cards which were issued right then and there! I thanked him, we shook hands and I said he looked sharp as he had on a nice spot coat and scarf in the pocket.

I called my credit card company a few minutes ago 10/25/23, 8 days after my returned pasta and visit with the general manager. There was NEVER a credit issued, and no email gift card. You can’t email a gift card. NOTHING WAS DONE!!! Why would he do that and why should I pay for something I didn’t eat and was not what I ordered? The manager must not be too bright as he said it was Pasta Primavera. I explained there was no GREEN basil, pine nuts asparagus, etc.

I want a credit for the meal, and a decent gift card as promised, for a wrong order, driving there twice, and the incompetence and lying of the general manager.

Brio Unprofessional Manager Las Vegas

Very unhappy with the General Manager at Brio it Las Vegas. She is very unprofessional, she will act cold towards employees with no exploration. She is hard to go to when you have a problem. She will push everything onto her other management team to take care of. She will openly bully employees to other employees. She should not be in the position she is in.

Local Brio did not honor the advertised offer

To whom it may concern: I’d like to tell you how offensive your ad is to me! A few weeks ago this ad popped up on my iPad, caught my eye (as it was designed to do), and I told my husband this appealed to me (being seniors, we do not often venture out without an attractive offer) I proceeded to call some friends describing this offer and they readily set up a date with us! We went to our local brio, looking forward to a pleasant evening out, and were very embarrassed to be told their

The restaurant did not honor this offer. When I returned home and revisited the advertisement, I noticed, in very small print, that my “local” brio restaurant is located in rancho cucamonga. Are you kidding me? Have you any idea where this city is located? Would I drive there to save ten dollars….At today’s gas prices, I think not!

Shame on you for trying to deceive the public…..Catching their attention with your catchy ad, to find it is only valid at one location, but then capturing folks to remain at that location and order off the menu at regular prices. This should be classified as false advertising.

Brio Las Vegas

First of all, I would like to say I am a professional server with over 25 years of fine dining. Needed to support my family trying to work two jobs so I had an interview with a new GM at Brio in Las Vegas NV last week for the day shift she gave me the job hands down. And says welcome aboard! Three days later I was wondering why I didn’t receive the email or phone call she said to wait until I heard from her. So I ended up calling her she told me I cannot use you. I was shocked to hear this. So I went on to ask why she said to me we were no longer hiring. I said to her but you did hire me and now no other reasons as to why her name is a reseller. She also stated to me that she was just promoted to GM. shame on her my opinion she is very unprofessional and her demeanor is poor just for the record I used to work for Bravo Brio..back in 2014. In Chicago Illinois.
