      if THEY ARE WILLING TO LIE ABOUT A NUMBER IMAGINE WHAT ELSE THEY WOULD DO. WE FOUND OUT THEY LEASE THE EQUIPMENT SUBSEQUENTLY THEY DO NO OWN IT. THE EQUIPMENT IS L;EASED WITHG A MAINTENANCE CLAUS. THAT MEANS THEY AREE DOUBLE DIPPING. THAT IN AND OF ITSELF IS ILLEGAL.......

    3. Horrible gym. I just paid 84 to cancel. I have never had such a horrible experience with any other gym. When i signed up i paid first and last. Well i canceled today and tried to use my last month payment and they wouldnt honor it because im too close to the billing date! What! So they received and extra payment because i had to pay it in order to cancel. These people are a joke! I would never recommend this gym to anyone.

    5. I have been going here since April. I started with a personal trainer in May. i only wanted 3 months and no more. I was not even reminded on my last training session to cancel well, 90.00 a month is still coming out of my checkbook. 270.00 and they will not refund. I called my bank to see if they can help so i filed a claim. The best part about this, i tore my rotator cuff while working under a personal trainer. It was minor but it has been since July and is now October and i have a while to go yet. I had someone helping me rebuild the muscle. now, that the money has not been returned, i am going gung ho. Thanks for the idea of the BBB. I will call them Monday morning.

    6. worst gym ever had a membership with them and they never took my payment from my bank account of $10.00 a month and now they have an attorney call me for collections of $170.00 when they broke the contract and didn't take the money from my account the people at the gym were ASSHOLES about it and you can never talk to anyone well maybe I will contact an attorney and sue them for breaking their contractual obligation of taking the money from my account and having an attorney harass me. Trust me I have nothing good to say about this place and will be voicing my opinion to the property managers and ever other community program that is within 5 miles of the gym

    7. Youfit advertised month to month ,they lied and charge you an extra month for late fee that they don't explain.After I cancelled they said they still have to charge me me for another month. This gym is a rip off with a bunch of hidden fees,.I live in new Orleans ans and the manager Steve was oh so very rude when I told him i wanted to cancel my membership.I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW IT IS A RIP OFF !!!!

    9. I am a member at the UFIT Gym on Military Trail,Florida.
      HALF of the treadmills are NOT working properly. They don't work at all or heartrate, etc., do not work. Or the TV or speed buttons. After a year of complaining, nothing has been done. Even the clock on the wall needs a new battery. Now quitting the membership I have to pay $10.00 termination fee. Why??? I am quitting because YOU HAVEN'T FULFILLED YOUR PART OF THE MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT.

    10. I signed up for a personal trainer on 4-14-16 then canceled the next day on 4-15-16 gave them a written letter bc I was told I can cancel within 3 days for a full refund . They been giving me the run around saying they mailed my check out . They still charged me in May $45.00 I still have not received anything and its 6-10-16. I will never go back to the gym again . The staff is not helpful when I first went for a meeting for an assessment I was supposed to be there at 6pm the lady never once acknowledge me I sat there waiting until 6:30 and thats when I said something . They are not helpful at all they answer the phone polite that about it . I DO NOT RECOMMEND .

      My daughter wanted to bring her 17 year old sister to the club as a guest. I went there to sign for her. Instead some idiot tells me that I have to write a letter to allow her to go to the club with her sister. What kind of operation are they running?

      Now I will make sure that we cancel membership that her sister does not join when she is 18. I will also not join and will make sure to tell everyone I know not to join.

    12. I joined, then quickly dropped my You Fit membership, due to the unbelievably rude behavior of the St. Pete, FL, 9TH Ave N. gym Manager. The fact that You Fit would use FAKE information for their corporate address & phone number says it all....run AWAY from You Fit as fast as you can! Reading the reviews makes it obvious that They are slick con artists!

  2. I have a very bad experience with You Fit, they lay to me from the beggining and today they pass the line in bad customer service and my name is Ivan Curra from Miami i'll not recommend this organization to anybody....cheapness can be very expensive at the end.

  4. BBB has 133 complaints so far. If a lawyer takes this case now, i am sure they will find many more abuse, Billing irregularities, false advertisement,lies told to sign you up.

Well they told me on several occasions that they waived a month due to me having my friends from the fire dept join and i only found out they were not doing it because one month the funds were not there and i had an over draft fee and this has happened three times this year so it cost me 105 dollars more due to there negligence

    6. Someone seriously needs to file a class action suit! Before I moved, I was told in store that I was cancel; they never said anything about needing to file paperwork. Only to find out later that I wasn't cancelled and had to come back into the store to fill it out. I now live 5 hours away and asked for an alternative method which they gave me none. I had been paying without stepping foot in their gym since I moved and they wouldn't even consider waving the cancellation fee. I have called several times and the manager is never available. I finally got an alternative method; mailing them a letter to state I wish to cancel - but I don't trust them not to "accidentally losing it in the mail". I think I will send it certified mail and require a signature so I have proof. They are a SCAM! IF the corporate office email provided above is correct, then they will have also lied to me about corporate's email. Every single time I get an employee on the phone they are rude and do everything possible to avoid aiding in cancellation. I am a very patient consumer so the fact that it has gotten this bad shows just how horrible my experience was. This is beyond unprofessional, I will NEVER recommend them to anyone!

  7. I really just don't understand why nobody can read their agreement. Yes you SHOULD be told about everything but it is still your responsibility to read the agreement and if you don't agree with everything in there you have 3 days to cancel and get a full refund. So apparently everyone here complaining agreed to everything.

    1. You think they would refund you in 3 days of cancellation. Try cancelling and paying like the agreement says and they still deduct fees, and annual fees! No where in the contract does it say they can deduct after you pay and cancel. They need to get their shit right!

    2. Dear "person". Not one of us is going to take the time to read page after page of their agreement. Do you know how many agreements are put in front of us in a single year? Too many to read. Every time I get a new debit card or open an ebay account I get dozen of pages of legal jibber-jabber to review. We just simply hope that the company is legitimate, and that the terms are reasonably acceptable. After all, are they in the business to make money running a health club? or are they in the business of tricking people out of money when they try to cancel their membership?

I AGREE, THEY HAVCE CURCUIT TRAINING WITH THE GREEN AND RED LIGHT WHICH IS GREAT, HOWEVER EVERYN TIME I WENT TO USE IT THERE WERE MANY PEOPLE ON MANY MACHINES NEEDING TO DO 5 TO 10 SETS, THUS HOLDING YOU UP. YOU LOSWE YOUR BLOOD RAte. wWHEN I CALLED THE MANAGER HE AGREDD I AM RIGHT HOWEVER MANY PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THAT IS. I TOLD HIM EDUCATE THEM! iT IS NOT MY JOB TO DO SO. HE TOLD ME HE WILL HAVE HIS EMPLOYEES ENFORCE IT. i went back to the gym and no one had the spine except the manager to enforce the circuit training rules. I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO LEAVE THE GYM BECAUSE I WAS DENIED THE SERVICES I PAID FOR AND CHARGED A THREE HUNDRED DOLLAR FINE. NOW I READ EVERY PART OF THE CONTRACT AND NO WHERE DID IT STATE ANYONE WOULD ENFORCE THE CURCUIT TRAINING PROTOCOL.i UNDERSTAND THAT HOWEVER THAT SHOULD BE STANDARD. NO ONE SHOULD BE FORCED TO BE TOLD BY OTHGER MEMBERS THAT THEY WILL KICK YOUR ASS IF YOU DO NOT GO AWAY. i ONLY ASKED THEM POLITELY TO MOVE BECAUSE MANY OTHERS WERE WAITING ALONG WITH ME TO TRAIN ON THE CURCUIT WITH THE LIGHT SYSTEM.   10. I started a membership with YouFit and they made it very clear that I had to maintain the membership for a year or I would be charged to cancel it. So I used it for a year and a couple of months before I got into a car accident. Then I was unable to afford the membership as I tried to get my life back together and I visited their location to request that it be cancelled. They then stated that I would have to pay a $25.00 fee to cancel and I notified them that:
    a) my year contract had ended
    b) if I couldn't afford to pay the monthly membership then there was no way that I was going to be able to afford to pay them $25.00 to cancel the membership
    Apparently, although I kept my membership for the year that I agreed to, I still waited too long to cancel the membership and still had to pay to cancel the membership despite fulfilling my contract and now they are harassing me for the money.

    1. The same thing happened to me. We were paying 9.99 and they uped to 15.99 when it clearly stated in the contract 9.99 and they are still selling memberships at 9.99. We have been down to a one income family for a year now due to job loss and they are not willing to cancel without paying the 25.00 fee and when you ask to speak to a manager, they either hangup or the manager never calls you back. This is no way to run a business nor is there any compansion or customer service skills in their employees.

  11. I canceled my membership $25 ok, I knew that. They have an annual fee that they charge once a year and I was told at the end of Dec. Nope Dec 1st. Anyway I "could have avoided" the fee if I canceled within 10 days, today is the 21 of Nov....Nov 30th makes 10 days BUT! I still have to pay the annual fee because its 10 business days!!!!!! They aren't closed on weekends why 10 business days that makes no effing sense! Youfit is a joke. I would never recommend this gym to anybody even if they are "affordable" terrible service by employees when trying to cancel and very unknowledgable. They just pass you down to the next lemming to tell you to read the policy because they don't even know their polocy apparently!

  12. Was told that half of membership was cancelled BY ORIGINAL MANAGER and no one still worked there from original cancellation to stop additional billing. Have been charging me for last 3 months. Parkland manager jared unwilling to help and offers no resolution. BEWARE!

  13. Do not be fooled! This gym is a joke- they deduct fees when they want. They deducted two annual fees from my account never refunded us. The deduct double memberships- they want us to pay $25 to cancel never gave us paperwork up front stating anything about a cancellation fee. Called manager from Wellington gym never returns call. I have to change my whole bank account so the CROOKS can stop deducting money from my account. I feel like obtaining an attorney and SUING the crap out of this place!

  20. I read the above comments and have to agree. I hate to be a hater but YouFit is not a dishonest and they take your money!!! I and my daughter signed up the same day with different contracts, and credit cards and when her card expired instead of contacting her to let her know they started charging my card for her fee's, without my authorization! My credit got messed up because of their irresponsibility and negligence! This experience has left me not wanting to be with any gym.

  21. I am shocked to read all this. Been a satisfied customer since 2011. I have used multiple locations in FL and GA. Never had any problems. Machines are well-maintained. I could tell you worse stories about Bally's.
