  1. I was recently in your Chattanooga, Tn store where I was not allowed to use the restroom after buying several hundreds of dollars worth of clothes. There is not a restroom anywhere nearby because this is not in a mall. I will not return to this store. I consider this very rude and inconsiderate customer service.

  2. This is the most god awful shopping experience ever. It takes a month to get the items your purchase and over 6 weeks to return anything.. then they reimburse you for half of the items you return.. 100 calls later and they only reimburse you for 1/4 of the return. Customer service is the worst. This is the worst nightmare shopping experience in the history of online shopping. Shop anywhere else.. I could have flown to China to return these items in person and collected monies owed before JJiLL handles this.. STAY AWAY from this company

  5. I have mentioned this many times before, including to your marketing director (directly, by phone) more than a year ago. I want to go on record as saying that your policy of charging $10 more on any "women's" sizes is outrageous! No other company does this. They perhaps charge $2 or $5, but not $10. There is not much difference in the amount of fabric required in a size 1X or 2X or even 3X so that you would add that $10. If someone buys an XL for $89, and I am forced to pay $99, then I will shop elsewhere -- which is why I used to buy a lot from your company and now buy very little. In fact, I get so angry when I get your emails or catalogues, I am ready to ask you to stop sending them. I don't want to feel cheated by a company I buy from. There are too many choices out there.

  6. The manager or male employee at the store in the Christiana Mall J Jill in Delaware, is extremely rude and pushy. It makes me very uncomfortable to shop in that store because of him, which is sad because I enjoy your clothing.

  7. a complaint regarding your store at Crocker Parkin in Westlake Ohio. I stopped in yesterday morning Saturday June 23rd and the two sales women were very rude and condescending. Looks like it is a pattern with this chain. types". It made me feel very uncomfortable and I left the store feeling as though I was being profiled based on potential income level and or age.

  8. I love your clothing, but your shipping charges are just too high. I ordered a blouse made of a gossamer material and had to pay $10 for shipping, which keeps me from shopping with you as often as I'd like. My local store doesn't have a large selection of sale items, so I prefer to shop online, but that shipping charge can sometimes be close to the price of the item. Doesn't make sense!

    1. Shipping charges begin at $11.95 in my area but items ship free if you order from the store... which happens to be a 25-minute inconvenient drive from where I live. Ridiculous!!!

I shop at J Jill quite often and wanted to write to make a few suggestions. Although I like the style of the clothing in the store could you think about lowering the necklines to either scoop or v-neck? Most of the tops have very high necklines and can be very unflattering to someone like me who has a full bust. Also, since J Jill is streamlined to the middle to older professional woman, could you please offer cardigan sweaters with short sleeves or three quarter than can be used in the workplace, especially in the warmer months. Thank you!

  10. I have shopped at J Jill for years. I am happy with the quality of clothing. But, the management of the San Antonio stores is lacking and has been for a long time. I keep thinking it will change but every time I go into a J Jill the staff always seems irritable. Or, they are all talking over the customers about things they have to do or issues with the store. Usually poor attitudes and management start at the top, with the sales people following. I try not to go in the stores but sometimes I've exhausted all other choices and end up there, only to be reminded of why I try to avoid it.

  11. I shop at the J Jill store located at the Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough MA. I have been shopping there for several years and love the styles and quality of the merchandise. As much as I love the merchandise, the team at the store is so inviting. When entering the store everyone greets you with a smile, the sales staff are knowledgeable about the merchandise and are able to answer questions. I always look forward to visiting that store even if it is to check out the new merchandise. It is evident that the team truly enjoys working there and with each other. The store is always beautiful and well organized. It is obvious that Katherine promotes a positive work environment. I would like to thank everyone at the Solomon Pond J Jill store, You are the best. Thank you

  12. I am a fan of JJill clothing but I try to stay away from purchasing their clothing due to their increase cost for the plus sizes. I don't see JJill lowering the price on the smaller petite sizes.

When they make all sizes priced equally, I will be happy to support them once again.

  13. I usually buy on-line because I live in a very rural part of Massachusetts. The closest J Jill “brick and mortar” store is over an hour away. But when I’m in civilization, I try to visit your stores because it’s such a treat. Recently I purchased at J Jill at Evergreen Walk in South Windsor, CT. I was very happy with my choices and the friendliness of staff. However, I needed to return an item that I thought would fit better in a petite size. I then visited Natick Mall in Natick, MA, which is over two hours from me. I want to tell you the two salespersons were indifferent, and rude. I was not greeted, I was made to wait while they had a conversation. Nor was I treated as though I was a customer; I was a nuisance. I asked for assistance to return the skirt, which didn’t make them happy. And I also wanted to look at pants. They were so off putting, that I didn’t want to ask for their help. I found the pants on my own. I made my returns, cashed out and left feeling angry. There were no other customers in the store at that time. I am happy to say I will continue to be a good customer. I recently ordered more clothing, on-line because of my location predicament, and I will try to visit the stores. But I want to say, those two salespersons are not helping your store.

  15. I love the Jjill store in Indianapolis, IN. My girlfriend and I have shopping trips a couple times a month. All employees are friendly and very helpful. If they do not have my size they order it for me. In fact today I had the pleasure of meeting the district and regional managers. They were in town to congratulate the folks on being number one in the country. JJill in Indianapolis, IN.is the best. Come visit, you will enjoy!

  16. Dear J. Jill, Recently started doing business with you as you have great quality clothes and very classic styling. It would be a shame for J.Jill to make any political opinion at this time as the babyboomers that have $$$ to spend might resent your politics. Would hate to see you take sides. I inscribe to 2nd Vote app before making many of my purchases that are in line with my political views. Please just sell clothes not politics. Virginia RN.

  17. I am a jjill sales associate at the South Hills village store in Bethel Park, PA. I wish to ask you to please consider the wide leg girks when it comes to spring and summer wear. You have offered many slim leg options and no options, for the wide keg wearer. I find this very disheartening. Please remedy this in future. There are many of us out here who need lighter fabrics for spribg and summer.(not linen or crops)

  18. Just ordered 4 items from Spring catalog. Since I've shopped in store, I was relatively comfortable ordering my sizes online without trying them on. I just got my merchandise and was extremely pleased with the fit and quality of the items. I absolutely LOVE your styles, the fit and the quality. Seriously, half my closet is JJill. One thing. Pricing. While the quality is superb, the pricing of some items is really high. I never buy clothes in store or online without a coupon or other promotion. 5% savings on the credit card is really not an incentive. I'm sooo happy with what I purchased this last time, the fit and style make me happy, but again, without my promotional coupons, I would have never purchased them.

  19. Dear J Jill,
Upon visiting your outlet store in Bluffton, SC today, I learned it will be closing on July 26, 2017. I am extremely upset and distressed with this news. J Jill is my favorite source for comfortable , stylish clothing. You won me over from Chicos and now my favorite store will be closing. Your closest store is an hour away in Savannah,GA. This is not convenient for me and I will not shop there! I have been to your outlet in Kittery and it isn't newrly as nice as the Bluffton store. Please do not close this store!!! I shop there frequently and I do not like to catalog shop. The store is usually busy and I believe they do well with their sales numbers. Please reconsider this closing. Don't assume I will shop at your regular retail store as frequently as I do at theoutlet. I will not!
I have been a devoted JJill customer for many years!

I was at your Deer Park IL store on Rand road this morning to return many, many items I had ordered on line. Cindy greeted me and helped sort through all the items. She then proceeded to ask me what she could help me find.

I hate shopping for clothes and avoid it as much as possible. I was joking around with Cindy and she was fun, promising me chocolate if I cooperated! Ha! We filled a dressing room and then Robin also started helping me.
Both these ladies were awesome and made the drudgery of trying on clothes actually fun and productive.

I appreciated their positive attitudes even more than normal, as I had just come from visiting a friend who is seriously ill. I thanked them for their cheerful as well as skillful help and attention.

In this age of declining sales at retail stores, you should absolutely recognize the competency, expertise and kindness these women exhibited while doing their job today. They will be the reason I will continue to patronize the Deer Park JJill store.

    Sincerely,
    Sue Ellen
