  1. ANY REASON THE PEEBLES STORE IN SIDNEY NY IS ABSOLUTELY FREEZING? CUSTOMERS COMPLAIN... I THINK WE EITHER NEED TO PROTEST IN FRONT OF THE STORE AND CALL IN THE PRESS OR START A CHANGE.ORG PETITION AND CALL CNN. WHICH WOULD PEEBLES PREFER?

  3. I know it is not Peebles that has anything to do with this but if I was a representative of your company, I would be livid. The Peebles store in Chestertown Maryland is a wonderful store and I for one am an avid shopper there. Currently the shopping center in which the store is located is rented. I understand this from a sales manager. As we speak, there are major renovations being done on the local supermarket located in the same shopping center. I went to shop today at Peebles and much to my surprise the entire shopping center parking lot is being re-asphalted! This is a ludicrous at the height of your Christmas shopping season. I am certain it will have an impact on your sales. A call to your corporate office was no help. Although the young lady answering was polite, she said oh we just rent that store. I understand that, I guess I am too concerned about the impact this will have on your sales. Perhaps someone in corporate should call your property management company and check how long this job will take etc. I would be very angry if this were my business. There is only one holiday season! While I have your ear I would like to commend two outstanding employees who work at your store in Chestertown. Donna Lins and Robin (not sure of her last name). Robin is absolutely the backbone of that store. I think she is an assistant manager but she runs the show. The store has not had a manager for sometime. You would never know it, Robin makes everyone want to come back. She goes out of her way for her customers, me included. Donna is also very good but not management material. I know most people are the first to complain but when something is outstanding it should be noted. Bravo on your Chestertown store! Keep up the excellent work! PS. Quit the magazine program I am sick of Robin and the rest of the staff of continually soliciting me to buy magazine's. I do not fault the staff but I do fault the head honchos for coming up with this demeaning program. Your store is so much more than that. Get rid of that program!

  5. I was shopping in your Kennett Suqare store and upon checkout was asked if we would like a store credit card, my response"no".Your associate then responded"please,please,pretty please". My response "no".She then said "even with 30 40 50 % off". I said "not even with 100% off,no". I should have just walked out(and i will be returning the purchase) but instead called your store manager Fran Shortell, who informed me that it was corporate policy.Now if a company such as yours needs to resort to such tactics to stay in business then we may all be better if you were not in business.

PEBBLES ASSOCIATION WITH MAGAZINE RIP OFF SCAMS IS WELL DOCUMENTED AND AFTER THEIR REPEATED "CANCELLATIONS" THEY NOW THREATEN US WITH OUR CREDIT, I AM NOT JUST UPSET, I AM LIVID. pEBBLES OUGHT TO CORRECT THIS HARRASMENT "NOW", NOT LATER. WE WERE CALLED ON A SATURDAY, BUT SUNDAY MORNING AT 8:16 AM FOR A SCAM MAGAZINE DEBT AND A THREAT TO OUR CREDIT IS NOTHING SHORT OF HARRASSMENT!!! PEEBLES PAY ATTENTION PLEASE... ROBERT ELLIS

  7. My mother died in April, 2014. We immediately cancelled her Peebles credit card. In January, 2015 we received a bill showing a purchase had been made. Customer service was very apologetic and said account was never canceled on their end but they would do so immediately. We have documentation of both of our calls and provided a death certificate. Fast forward to today...received another bill with a late charge added!!!!! Now, they want ANOTHER death certificate. We are out of death certificates and would have to pay to obtain another one. Why is this such a hard task? Why haven't they gone after the person who fraudulently used the card? The customer service representative said it was a mail order purchase...there must be an address that it was sent to. This is extremely poor service and is completely uncalled for. Why can't the account be closed?!? Had they closed it when we first requested it closed, no one could have used the credit card number. I think it is time to raise the bar on your employees work standards and I hope someone from corporate will take action on this type of service. When trying to close an estate and then dealing with companies that have no interest servicing customers makes life very frustrating. I would love for a REAL corporate person to reply and advise what we can do to resolve Peebles' mistake.
