No communication and stuck with a bill

Hello someone hit my car and I had to take my car to the shop. I took my car to a place that they suggested. I was happy with everything until I was charged 200 plus dollars for a rental. I was not happy with the situation. When I took my car in on DEC 1 they told me I could keep the car a little longer if I changed the SUV to a cheaper car. When I went to Enterprise no one said that the car should be turned in by Dec 6. No one said Ms. Keith you are close to your $1500 limit. When I went to turn the car in after having to pay for 8 days. I can not afford to pay extra money, I am a single mother of 3 and it was Xmas time. I had to pay close to $300 for rental plus $500 for deductible. If I would have known I need to turn the car in, I would have. The place that Pedro (agent) told me that Travelers had down for repairs. The last email I received from Travelers was 11/30/23 stating if I was to change the car out I could keep it for extra days. Enterprise called and I set up a time and date which was 12/1/23 to change cars. I have a voicemail with Enterprise stating I need to change out cars at 140ish on 12/1/23. I called back and stated I spoke with someone and they knew that I was coming at 3 pm 12/1. When I got there I changed cars and they sent me on my way. NOBODY stated I was close to my $1500 or that the car needed to be returned on 12/6. I spoke with Patrick the manager he was very nice. Pedro was rude and stated it was my fault that I did not ask “How close am I to my $1500 for my rental car? When I spoke with Patrick he stated 12/8 was my due date. Turning in the car would have given me two days. I would have just turned the car in If I had known I was going to be stuck with A bill.

A man on the top floor of my condo ran a bathtub and forgot to turn it off when he went to the bar. The tub overflowed and nobody was home at the unit above mine, so the water damaged all three of the units below the top floor – including mine. This happened almost a year ago. I’ve been getting letters from Brad Nygren at Traveler’s stating that I’m somehow to blame for all of this and demanding that I reimburse them for the repairs to my upstairs neighbor’s unit for $17,787.33. I’d just like to know what part of gravity Mr. Nygren doesn’t understand??
