  1. If you are a company do not purchase workman comp insurance with them. They are the worst company out there. They do not return calls from employees or lawyers and they lie to everyone. You will not get what you pay for. It would be a waist of money to use this insurance company. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THEM AS YOU CAN.

  2. They are equally bad on handling auto claims. Had this company for over 20 years and just dropped them due to their inexperienced staff and terrible service.

  3. I absolutely hate having to say this. Travelers Insurance is a nightmare.

Just an absolutely callous, uncaring, miserable company who has no compassion for animals, respect for the law or sense of responsibility towards their insured.

  4. They hired a company to remove asbestos in my house, and they scraped asbestos tile right next to my bed. They didn't even vacuum the floor. Travelers has refused to have any swipe or air testing done to make sure it is safe in the house. It's been quite a ride and now they want to point a finger at me and say they are investigating me for various reasons.....looking for a way out of paying for the claims. Eat shit, Travelers!!

  5. Please DON'T waste your time or money with this insurance company. They never respond to ANYTHING. Today I called and asked for an update on my auto claim and HEATHER who was really rude hung up in my face because I asked for the status of my claim and what was the hold up. She then went on to cut me off while I was talking and after i asked her NOT to cut me off while I'm talking, all i heard was CLICK!! (She hung up in my face)! How rude and unprofessional!! I called to cancel my policy with them and will be reporting them to the BBB!! What a waste of my hard earned money!! Oh and I have yet to receive a phone call back from the supervisor Jim Gordon!!

  6. i just cancelled homeowners and all car insurance. they are not competitive. I had one request for a claim on my home in eight years and they turned it down and last year they jacked up my rate 20%. I hope they have a lot of smart people who can calculate how much money they will make off me next year. I would tell anyone that this company sucks.

  7. Our boat has been in the repair shop for five years, getting close to six, because the claim adjustor does not communicate and when he does, it's as if he's out to deny any repairs needed as deemed by the repair shop, This has been a virtual nightmare. I have paid for all the repairs personally and have not cashed any of their checks. My patience is wearing thin and am ready to turn this fiasco over to a lawyer. I've had it and would not recommend anyone to insure with Travelers.

  8. My five phone requests resulted in as many promises, but not the requested paperwork. Waiting over a month for Mr. Kelschenbach to provide same.

  9. Please I am in total distress over Travelers treatment of me after my husband was killed. I can't begin to tell you the drama involved in my life regarding travelers. I need to talk to someone in the executive office, I have been through H--- and he keeps getting worse. I have talked to at least 20 different customer support people, and have received no relief. I am at the end of my rope. I will sit down today and write out an entire outline since October 9th, 2015 regarding my experience with Travelers. This is truly a very sad and disturbing experience.

  10. My recent experience was not only disappointing to myself and the many that followed it but a nightmare. There is no question these people are not a"people" company. From the field rep not even interested in knowing what the damage was caused by, to calls from reps stating they would call in a couple days and not calling, to a company I find now does not accept partial claims....I was willing to split claim due to maybe a grey area and did some of the work to reduce the cost and none of that had any value to them. We could not help thing, "what are they thinking". Now I know why so many often act in a punitive manner and it taught me many lessons. They loose because three of those who followed this story will not renew. Worst part is, this was at $2,000 claim that could have turned into a win/win but being there communication skills are so poor and they are not a "People" company, they will never get my support and this rather stupid decision will be shared by many.
