  3. had a trible experience at parthmark New Castle about the cute fruit, and how long they place dates on the cute up fruit it for 7day and time the customer buy the fruit it is bad. before it was only for a 3day to expire date and then they would sell it 1/2 price, it is very costly for a 20.00 or 19.00 for fruit after 3 day watermelon is bad at the bottom and why can't customer get a change to get a deal at a lower price, if they keep it a a 3day expire date.

    Talk to the Ass Manager Scott said that the day was change frome 3 days to 5day for expire date, That is not a good health rule for fruit to be set out that long and then went to sell it to the public.
    This is not good at all , amybe the Public Health need to be their to determine expire date of fresh fruit.

    1. BETHPAGE STORE # 653 BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF THE STORE IS OPEN 24 HRS. THEY SHOULD HAVE A REGISTER OPEN . NO EVERYONE LIKE OR USE THE SELF CHECK OUT . THERE SHOULD
      BE A SIGN , NO REGISTER OPEN AFTER 10:PM ONLY SELF.
      HOW CAN THEY HAVE 2 PEOPLE TALKING TO EACH OTHER STEAD OF TRYING TO GET THE CUSTOMERS OUT . NOW I SEE WHY PATHMARK IS GOING DOWN. CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD THE PRIORITY IN EVERY BUSINESS . I AM A CUSTOMER SINCE 1968 NOT SURE IF I WILL CONTINUE.

Bergenfield, NJ store- Complaint: On a Saturday morning recently,One of the store managers (Shannon) was repremanding a employee (male)right in front of the produce section.Which is located at the main entrance of the store. Pointing her finger in his face and speaking loudly that she needs to know or be informed about a certain situation. The gentlemen was spanish speaking and you could not understand him very well but he was trying to get his point across but she would not give him a chance. I went to the customer service desk and asked for Jim or Lamont but they were not there. She surely was not acting like a professional.

  6. Thank you to your amazing staff at the Fairless Hills, Pa pharmacy! They are an amazing group of people, who have cared for my parents for over 20 years starting at the Bristol store n continuing their great service at Fairless. My father has a very complex medical history n has had as many as 19 different scripts at one time. With Keystone 65 n Pace their has been a lot of red tape to get thru to lower the cost and your staff has hand walked us thru every step. They are kind, knowledgable and respectful. Ron n Maria in particular have work miracles for us n taken my tirades in stride when I have become frustrated with the system. Thank you again for these wonderful people!

    I dropped money at the Uscan on monday. Today I saw her and SHE ACTUALLY TURNED THE MONEY IN. Nice to know that people like AKEEYAH in Montclair pathmark stilll exist.

  10. I have had a few really bad experenices with the Pathmark located on Central Ave, Yonkers,NY The store manager there is so unprofessional. Her name is Vikki she is so rude to her workers and the lauguage that she uses horrible.I stop going there because of this. When you have a manager that treats people like that I won't give her store my money. BYE!!!!!

  11. As i was checking out of Pathmark in Ozone Park NY I forgot to give the cashier my senior discount coupon so i had to go to "customer service". I gave the clerk the coupon and ID and then she handed me the money which they owed i quickly put in my purse and waited for her to give back my receipt. As she was busy yapping away with another associate she hands me more money which i didn't accept because she already gave me money back. Shortly after i get home a security guard shows up at my door with the clerk from Pathmark claiming she gave me another customers money. I looked in my purse to find the money she gave me was $54. I am very UPSET they showed up at my house to make me look like a thief for a mistake she's done. I FEEL HUMILIATED AND THEY HAD TO NERVE TO LOOK UP MY ADDRESS IN THE SYSTEM AND MADE IT LOOK AS IF I STOLED THE MONEY. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't of done that to me if they owed me money. Is this customarily done sending a security guard to your house?

  12. As I was shopping at my local Pathmark in Kinnelon NJ today I noticed a refrigerated case in the frozen food aisle and it was filled with 5 pound blocks of Land O Lakes American cheese. The sign hanging from the case said (in very big numbers) $3.98. I picked one up and took it to the courtesy counter because it was to good to be true. The guy there checked the price and said it is $3.98 per pound making the entire block $19.90. I told him I did not see anything saying per pound so he and I walked back to the case where the cheese was displayed and he even had to look it over to see where it did say "per pound" in TINY print. I told him he should take a Magic Marker and make the "per pound" in just as big letters as the $3.98 is. He told me he is not allowed to touch it as per corporate headquarters. I had good eyesight and did not see the "per pound" I don't know how anyone with not so good eyesight would ever see it. Talk about (almost) false advertising!!! Now I know why, even though Pathmark is only one mile from my house and Shoprite is almost 9 miles, I go to Shoprite for my big food orders and shop at Pathmark only when I need a few things or want to pick up their sale items.

    1. I too have found that the Pathmark in Kinnelon,NJ is misrepresenting items in the Meat Department. Some examples are Top Round London Broils Twin Pack being put out for Sirloin Tip London Broils and Bone In Country Styles being put out as Boneless. Amongst other things.

  13. Store #622 has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. An employee by the name of Kumiko is so rude and not informative at all. Every time I've needed assistance she has treated me in a condescending manner by being short with me, rolling her eyes at my questions instead of answering them and cutting me short, every time I asked a question. When reporting her to the Manager Eugene; he was non chalant, acted as if he didn't hear me, and I felt rushed reporting her. He also gave a half assed apology that I hardly heard and I had to go to the dairy section myself and he had no remorse. I feel action should be taken because I frequent that location and Pathmark gets a majority of my business to fulfill my shopping needs. Every customer should feel good about spending their money in an establishment; and Miss Kumiko has gave me good reason to boycott. Also Eugene was not very effective. This happened at 11:56 am and the express lane associate Jagdev has witnessed this whole thing.

  15. what a shame on how you deceive customers into thinking that their shopping reward for doing their Thanksgiving shopping at Pathmark in NYC. What was Advertised: when a customer spends $150.00 they receive a $15 for their next shopping visit, only to realize later that a customer must spend another $150 before month's end 11/28/13
    You people at corporate should be ashamed of your DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING. I am going to re-consider my future shopping at you Whitestone store. No one likes to be Deceived.

  16. I have been a loyal Pathmark customers for years. I shop at the South Philly Pathmark on Oregon ave. However today I found BLACK MOLD inside an America's Choice half and half creamer! The product did not expire until December 2nd. (Today is 11-27)I put some creamer in my coffee, took a sip and felt a "blob" in my mouth and spit it across the room! So I dumped out the container and found a nickel size amount of BLACK MOLD, a SLIME like substance on the side and two small gummy like deposits on the bottom of the container! The "blob" I suspect to be mold. I am literally sick to my stomach! I have pictures of the inside and outside of the container. I will absolutely never set foot inside pathmark again!

  17. I have been shopping at Pathmark for many years and have noticed as of late (last 2-3 years), the quality of produce has drastically and significantly been terrible! A perfect example, I purchased a large container of salad greens this past Sunday with the expiration date of 12/5. When i opened the container the very next day, i noticed an odor and observed slimy greens at the bottom of the container. This is unacceptable. Additionally, the cucumbers are ALWAYS in super poor condition, soft and on their death bed. With the amount of money i spend weekly at Pathmark, I expect better produce as well as service. a couple of weeks ago, a cashier failed to hand over my $20 in change. when i pointed this out to her, she called over a supervisor who was extremely rude, argumentative and out of line. I'd just spent over $200 so why would I lie about the store owing me $20? This was resolved the next day when the account confirmed my missing change.

  20. Went last week to South Philly Pathmark on Oregon ave.. They told me i would have to wait a week
    went back a week later they told me they did not order it but they could give me 8 two days worth.
    What ever happened o the great store this used to be? Ifor one am done with them.

  23. Just called customer service in regards to the Bergenfield N. J. store. Why is the store always freezing? Today the store was unbearably cold. The poor store personnel had gloves, long sleeves and sweatshirts on. There are some OSHA rules I believe that are certainly not being followed here. This store is always on the cold side but today it was not tolerable. Too cold for a young child to be in there. I actually felt like I was just being brushed off with the gentleman who answered at customer service. Maybe OSHA needs to be involved.

I work for pathmark for almost 30 years and I am appalled by what I am reading, does corporate do anything about these employees especially management to correct them and the problems customers are complaining about me and my fellow employees who care about the customer feel complaints fall on deaf ears also we need corporate to listen

  25. I had the worse and most embarrassing experience at Pathmark Elmwook Park NJ.The disrespectful person was the "Manager" Rich Stanel. I currently live approx 2 mins walking distance from that location but will now drive for 5 mins to shoprite because of him.... Discrimination is alive people!!!!!!!!! I have a choice though!!!!!!!!

  26. Parhmark in Bergenfield has an unprofessional customer service person who is unhappy at her job but there are alot of unemployed people who would love to have her job. She is very arrogant and unhelpful and she represents Pathmark. Is this what Pathmark is about? poor customer service?

  28. June 2013 the doors at Pathmark in Walnutport, Pa malfunctioned and slammed shut on my 3 year old daughter, I took her to the ER and they did xrays and checked her out. I am now receiving almost $2,000.00 in medical bills and they are refusing to pay the medical bills caused by their malfunctioning doors. I have been in contact with their "Business Insurance Company" and but have not heard from him in months and cannot get into contact with Sal LaSala from the company. Although my daughter is still terrified to go through automatic doors I was only requesting that they pay the medical bills but yet I still have not heard from him in months. This is very unprofessional, I will never shop in this store again even though it is directly on my way home from work, I will definitely be driving the extra 5 miles past my house just to go to the grocery store. UNBELIEVABLE!!

Prices false labeling of items : This hasn't be the first time it's happen to me at this Pathmark Store in Montclair, Nj # 280 .the store is very convenient to where i live .and I'm a budget ..This has gone on for much to long ..that it's almost makes it impossible to shop there ..I check about 80 -100 worth of food every week ..to see mistake after mistake on my recipient ..I spoken to the store manager about and he looks at the problem , see the problem and tell me to go the costumer service .. Which I spend a good 10 to 15 mins to straight it out..* Items that label for Discount are NOT showing discount a checkout ...also this a Corp Management problem thatt has been going for years ..I've been also to the Pathmark at Lodi , Nj on Rt. 17 south had this problem also . But not as bad as Montclair's Store.
