  2. Fremont CA Hub CENTER, employees call and continue making call, wanting to know all your business - and then they threaten you with "the Sheriff is coming to deliver papers" I would watch who you do business with before you sign up.
    They are not willing to work with you!!!

  3. I've never been late on my payments to Spring Leaf. This month I had a medical emergency which makes it impossible to make my payment this Month, and received a collection call from some little girl who was harassing, wanted all my personal information, and basically gave a new description of Bitc#. Is this how they operate? I'm not even a week past due and am starting to get harassing phone calls from these yahoos? For all I care, they can come get the Tractor I borrowed money to buy.

  4. My son obtained a loan from Spring Leaf In Dickson Tn. and was laid off his job the very next day. He explained this to "Donna" the manager of the store. Her response was " How unfortunate" He has not had the money to make a full payment but has been making partial payments. This is not acceptable to Miss Donna, I am a cosigner on this loan so she has called me 3 to 4 times a day, sometimes more. She has even called my place of employment, each time it was explained about his lay off and she was told that as soon as he is back to work he will begin making full payments once more. She doesn't care and has threatened both of us with legal action. Every time she calls she says she is going to turn the account over to her attorney. Guess they have never heard of the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act. I would not suggest anyone go there for help.

  5. I applied for a loan after Credit Karma suggested calling.. I did and received a message to call and said I was approved and went over monthly payment. Guess what I called back and spoke with Cynthia she was very rude and said we can not help you..Excuse me! Don't apply with this company at ANY LOCATION!!!!!!!!!

  6. wow I should have read this before we received a loan from them. The whole process has been a big joke. We decide not to buy the motorcycle we originally thought we were going to get so we said we would keep looking and let them know. They hounded us at least 2x a week to see if we had found a motorcycle yet. When we did find one through a private party it was nothing but hassle. Buyer and seller both were there and did the paperwork they didn't write the check out for seller but to us to pay the seller. Then after that hassle was done they called us 2 weeks later to say they forgot to have us sign a piece of paper that we had to come sign it (we live 150 miles one way from the office) but we had to come sign it. Now after 4 months they tell us that we have to go pay dmv fees of 500 dollars because they cannot receive the title till then. wow what an incompetent company. All this was suppose to be taken care of. This has been the worse experience I have ever had.

Wow--i dealt with the office in Waukegan Illinois, there was a gentleman there that ran it well with Claudia under him, I paid it back right away with in 2 months--now i try again and they are horrible, never call me back, claudia has taken over the branch so this really surprises me, however i called 3 different times, all they say oh Laura will call you back, i never recv calls, they are the worst, and now they want my life story, i have given them everything, along with looking at my past paying off a loan in 2 months of 12 grand now they wont even talk to me, are you better than me, you can at least have your staff return thier calls, or get personnel that will, is it because of race, I sure dont see any other persons working besides Mexican decent. I am really taken back by this company that i thought was good, however to receive this and have this kind of treatment has left a horrible taste with me and believe me i will make it known.

  8. Spring leaf never requested the title for our car. Now we need to get a Alabama Tag and they need a copy of the title. No one knows where it is. REALLY!! Is spring leaf going to pay the fines and fees since our tag is now expired??

  9. I received a loan through them, we used a 25,000 5th wheel as collateral on a 5,000 loan. They state we did not make our first payment even though we have provided them proof of it over and over again. I have made every payment and made it on time.

    They are now attempting to reposes our 5th wheel because they claim we are so far behind and they keep adding on late fees.

    Worse decision ever to go with this company

  10. I contacted Springleaf Services in Baton Rouge, LA to discuss a demand letter I received. I spoke with the manager, John who was not very helpful. I explained to him that my account was being taken care of through Consumers Debit Councilor and they were sending the payments to them. He was a very confused young man with little or no understanding. I started with them July of last year and an agreement was made between CDC and Springleaf to accept a reduced payment. Now he telling me they are not in agreement with payment. I thought the cooperate office should know about the incompetent representation in the field offices.

My loan was approved and after they requested my check stubs and my personal information, they did called me back and said we are going to need a car on this loan and sorry we did not tell you this before. I advised that I would not have allowed them to do a credit check on me and this should have never happened. All she said was she was sorry. My personal information is in the Morrow, GA office and I do not like this matter at all. I have filed a BBB complaint against them and hope they learn not to mess with people personal information.

  13. I applied for a loan with Springleaf and approved with a vehicle collateral. I declined the loan at the time and re-applied 2 months later and was denied even with a vehicle collateral. I asked the manager why even though my credit score went up from the last time of applying and he stated "things changed we just can't approve you" VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!

  14. I applied for a loan online with Spring leaf and it was approved. I have an existing loan with them, all I needed to bring them was a driver's license, check stub and vehicle collateral. I told them I would call them back, when I did the lady Lynn that was helping was just coming back from break I guess. I spoke to her she said she couldn't get me the loan.. now I have an email where they sent me that I was approved for 4,000.00 with vehicle collateral, driver's license and check stub and she told me that. It don't make sense,that is bad business and when I pay this remaining loan I have with them I will never get a loan again. I will tell my friends not to do business with them also.

  16. SpringLeaf Financial in Garner NC Timber Drive has the rudest most disrespectful and ignorant employee named Anna that needs to be fired. She works for SpringLeaf and is not the owner or CEO. She gives the company a bad rep and that country attitude should be given better customer service training. Please do not speak with this employee you will get no help nor will you be treated with good customer service that represents the company.
