HTC customer service is the worst in United States. Even though US relies on BBB for grading quality of products and services, HTC folks do not care for their products nor for customer satisfaction. I have been dealing for PHONE REPLACEMENT, which is under warranty and it has been over 6 months and about 100 phone calls, and still not resolved.

I was on chat with Tatiana she blew me off and the the supervisor Diego came on and told me to pretty much get lost and disconnected the chat so I could not save it to show their Corporate headquarters. I am now seeking to replace this htc phone with an lg or something. I now remember why I stopped purchasing htc in the past
htc customer service hasn't improved since these comments were posted in 2016. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Tried to cancel my order within one hour after placing it, shipped out anyway after they assured me it had been cancelled, was told they would contact FedEx and have it returned to them without delivering AND that due to their error would credit me the entire amount (including the expedited shipping I''d paid for.) Took an entire month to get the refund, only to have the shipping deducted. Now, their online customer support number says select 0 for English, advises you that calls may be recorded, then says "you've reached a non-working number - DH5." Tried US corporate which disconnects calls after saying "you're being transferred to our representative." All dead ends or flat out lies, so a completely frustrating experience. Will not EVER, EVER recommend or purchase a HTC product again.

TOTALLY agree with what EVERYONE has said. WORST customer service i have had to deal with... and i have dealt with a lot. Brand new phone stopped working within 2 months. Been dealing with them A**HATS for over 2 months now. JUST trying to activate the damned thing. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HTC PRODUCT AGAIN. HTC is close to THE WORST customer 'service/support' I have ever encountered, even as a comcast customer.
HTC not typically in the habit of breaching contracts but this time they have out done themselves. The corporate number above is valid (ty ty) and I was able to get my issue elevated (what ever that means)
Beware of buying an HTC product! I am now on my 5th phone in a year! The original and 4 "certified" replacements which have all come through Verizon's not HTC. HTC customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with! After many complaints my case was elevated only to have the customer service rep say they would repair my phone! I turned down that option when I started having major issues with my first phone before it was even a month old! Why would I want that now especially when I know first hand how poor their quality control is?! The last phone lasted less than 2 weeks! We bought 3 HTC ones at the same time and 2 have had no problems but I can't go anywhere without a spare phone. Every person who watches me trying to deal with these problems vows they will never buy an HTC! Not good advertising! Beware!

Ditto everything everybody above has said! As someone who I a UPS driver of 22 years who deals in customer service everyday it is unbelievable to me how poor there customer service is. They sent me a bad replacement phone that went bad instantly and its a month later and im still trying to get my replacement even after they took the 299 dollar hold instantly. First it was we cant open another ticket until we close the last one, which was classic since they had received my phone A MONTH AGO!!! I don't know how they stay in business. I will be telling everyone of my 150 t0 180 people that I see every day 5 days a week to NEVER BUY AN HTC PRODUCT. Do you think Sprint cares that my phone shuts down over 5 times a day and that it spends more time off unintentionally the on? I asked for a corporate number and they game me a disconnected number! CLASSIC!! I had to use the GOOGLE machine to get to this site. I left a message at the number above do you think anyone will call? DOUBT IT!!
I came this page to complain HTC support services (KVK) in Turkey, but what I see same things and seems no body from the HTC care about it! Then, No HTC any more!
There must be thousands of cell phone users out there, who would not mind at all if the phone would be a little thicker and heavier, because of additional batteries embedded in it, which could run the phone for a week without having to recharge it daily. I am one of them.

Worst ever!!! They told me they would repair my phone but I'll have to wait about 7 to 10 days before I get it back! Ok, who in their right mind would go without a phone for that long? Said they couldn't give me a loner phone , no replacement phone either.. smh..something has to be done!!

Is your phone with ATT ? My model is the Desire eye. HTC said it is the network and ATT said they would give me a "like new" phone. My friend got his and IT did not work she had Sprint.
HTC HAS HAD MY NEW PHONE FOR 3 MONTHS. THEY HAVE HAD IT LONGER THEN I HAD IT! WHEN I CALL DAILY (3 months straight) AND ALL IM TOLD IS " REST ASSURED WE WILL IT TAKEN CARE OF" WELL, IM STILL WITH NO PHONE! I HAD TO GO BUY A NEW ONE ... DEFINITELY NOT A HTC PHONE. What type of technology company has the worst customer service in all of the industry...or any industry...i would say that the Nazi's had a better customer service support than HTC. Sending broken products and getting a call within 5 hours of product delivery and the best you can do is a 2 week turn around? rediculous...no wonder you had to do layoffs...hope its the sign of things to come for this sad excuse for a company..you clearly dont know how to respect your customers
I have had the same experience (so far) as the people who have commented here. The WORST, most incompetent service ever!!!Still no phone and now I have not only bought it once but paid for the replacement pending return of the piece of crap they sold me..... but still no replacement....

My Htc one M9 broke after only a few months they told me they would send me a box in 1-2 days, to send it in for a replacement it never came so I called back for over a month every couple of days; finally after a month they said they had to close out ticket and wait 48 hours I spoke to many people for many hours more than 48 hours more like a week saying it would be closed out monday morning by a supervisor I said how can I be sure she said she promised she would personally call me by 10 am and she never did. Its been over a month and still no replacement so I call back and they said you still havent received a box thats unbelievable then puts me on hold supposedly speaks to a supervisor at my insistance and then says you dont receive a box from us just use a shoebox! after over a month of them telling me lies. Oh and at the very beginning they said I could receive it 2 days quicker if they put a 500.00 charge on my credit card until they receive phone, which I chose not to as I still owe 700.00 for the broken phone, then this guy tells me I can do you a favor and get it to you quicker, if I charge 500.00 on your credit card. They are horrible liars. I called to speak to president at corporate number and a lady calls me the next day leaves a message to contact the same number that I had been calling for over a month after I left her 2 messages saying I was upset and no one at that phone number was helping me, its been nonstop lies horrible service and no phone
Wish I had read all this before purchasing an HTC phone. My problem is a little different in that they sent my replacement phone to the wrong address! They keep telling me that they are waiting to get the mis-addressed phone back before they'll send me a replacement. Why I am being made to suffer for their mistakes?Can't get anyone on the phone (including a supervisor who is never there) with any authority to send me a new phone. I asked for the corporate number to call. Call it and you get a message to "LEAVE A MESSAGE"???? They'll never get my business again...
I bought an HTC One M8 and I loved it. Ran fine for a good year then finally started to slow down after I'd loaded it full of pictures and games and apps. Would have bought an HTC M9 or even the A9 if I hadn't already gotten an iPhone (which is even better than HTC but my HTC is a close second to Apple with no questions.)
I can only agree with all the customers griping. My 3 month old HTC got stuck in airplane mode ( a known issue across all HTCs ) online help could not solve the issue but they refused to fix it under warranty. Awful service.
I will never buy HTC again if they charge me and I have Uh Oh protection.
What an unbelievable nightmare. Memphis has the phone since mid February. Claims ups responsible BUT service center signed for phone 5 weeks ago. Still no phone, promised return calls for past week and all they can say is the supervisor will call you back by end of business day. That is now 4 end of business days. I think the phone is lost. Whoever woran supervisor of repairs is, deserves to lose his job as he is totally incompetent and worthless. Nice to have a job with no accountability. At this point I just want the broken phone shipped back to me. Apparently can't do it...imagine they lost it. So replace it. This goes to mentally ill young man who also should carry a phone in his possession. It is plain lies and bull rap.

I want to know why HTC promised to keep our M8 Devices updates with Windows, yet after the release of Windows 10, decides to break that promise?
I bought HTC M8 well over a year ago at a Tmobile store. I paid over $700. Just last week, I was using the phone and it suddenly went dead. I tried all my best to turn it back on but it went into a system failure mode. I called Tmobile and they said there is nothing they could do since the phone warranty expired just this past MAY. "I would have to buy another phone". I contacted HTC and was asked to send the phone back for repair. I was provided a ticket # 116343621630. I was asked to pay another $290 after I just finished paying off the phone. I am totally disappointed in HTC. I had to buy another LG T-Mobile phone costing me $350. I already spent over a thousand dollars on phone. This is modern day robbery. Stay away from HTC.
I have never had a significant problem with HTC, all of my phones have been great. All of my phones have been htc with the exception of one Samsung. The one thing I do not like is that you guys won't replace the supercharger and neither will sprint since it is not under warranty. Boooo
They can't even tell me where my phone is because they send it to a repair contractor whose computer system doesn't communicate with theirs. I have been told next week my phone should be ready several times and still no phone a month later for a repair that was only supposed to take 3-5 business days. This is an awful company that is flushing itself down the toilet by not meeting its commitments or caring about the satisfaction of its customers. Time to switch to Apple.

I bought brand new HTC m8 with 1 year warranty from Amazon. Everything was ok for a month, and than it stopped working. I sent it to HTC for repairs and it took them almost a month to fix it. When I got it back it was not working properly so it took a few more weeks to get replacement phone from HTC. It was working ok for a few month and then just stopped. nightmare begun. I called HTC and they told me it is still on the warranty and they were going to fix it so I paid to ship it to them. For some reason HTC was changing repair ticket number for 3 times, than they asked me to provide proof of purchase 2 times. Even though it was less than a year since I bought the phone they decided to charge me $190 to fix their own replacement junk phone. They were calling me every day asking stupid questions so I told them to send it back without any repairs. I will make sure everybody knows How HTC does business. Will also post video on Youtube and Facebook. No more HTC ever. Enough is enough.

I'm at 4 months w/o my HTC bolt or a suitable replacement. Was just informed today that the HTC repair center in Houston does NOT have my phone (despite the fact it was transferred there by HTC from their former DFW repair facility) and they do NOT know when or if the phone will be repaired. This is after I was informed they were "waiting on parts" or "recovering from the hurricane". Uh-huh, sure!
I purchased one of the HTC phones after being extremely loyal to another device. This was the first phone that I actually had to pay over $600.00 for. I can not believe how i'm being treated. I'm on my third phone and just purchased the phone 6 months ago. I have spent a ton of time with this horrible device. I have requested a refund and questioned why HTC would stand behind their product. I can not believe that considering the issues with this phone in on their end they refuse to offer me any type of resolution. I would never recommend using HTC the customer service is the worst. I know that they realize this because they never want you to talk to a real person they want you to do everything online. I can truly cannot believe how i'm being treated after spending this amount of money.

The same can be said for my HTC Bolt also . With in 4 months the screen went out and provider game me new phone but with in 4 months again the screen went out again. Then made big mistake of sending to HTC repair (cost $35) they rec'd it on June 5th. After not hearing from them by June 21st called about the repair. Was told they where waiting for parts and they would be in soon. Called back June 28th was told the same thing. I then talked to supervisor and asked for phone to be sent back even if not repaired. Told I would receive confirmation number in 24-48 hrs. Did not receive this confirmation number by the evening of June 29th so called again and was told again 24-48 hrs. ON July 1st called again and was told same thing. And again on July 3, July 5th and again on July 7th.Was then told to call corporate which goes to voice mail and then never get back to you. Really think their product and service is the worst and will not ever buy one of their products again and just hope to get my phone back soon.

Worst phone ever! Purchased a htc bolt and within a month it stopped charging correctly. Had good customer service then but after my phone caught fire they want me to send it back and its going to take up to 4 weeks before i will know anything. When i took it originally to the store i bought it from they wouldnt do anything and said i had to contact htc. That was when it wasnt charging properly. Did i mention they ask if i wanted them to repair the phone. Duhhh it caught fire and they think i want that phone back in my house. Lucky for them its just a phone they are replacing and not my house! No phone for a month or more! Pathetic... I have posted the issue on facebook hoping to alert others to not purchase a htc phone.

Waiting three weeks for replacement HTC 10. Paid $599 credit card hold for replacement but none available to send me. This is unacceptable. Bought it from HTC on their website at Christmas. Eight months old and touch screen unresponsive. Can manipulate text screen with mouse but can't take calls. Customer not good. Escalated to case owner then supervisor but no response other than shortage beyond our control. Wait another week.

This is ridiculous!!! I sent my HTC to be repaired by the company (Ticket 217298840000898). They received my phone, according to a signature given to the USPS, the 20th of July and I still haven't received it back. They keep saying they are going to elevate the case. It should be elevated almost to the moon right now. Their system didn't even show they had received it until the 29th of August. Each time I call them "case handler" gives me a different story. It ranges from "it's repaired and we are waiting on a shipping label" to "they are repairing the phone".It has been almost 2 months since they received it. I am a psychotherapist and use the phone for crisis calls. I have tried to contact the US Corporation headquarters, but just get an answering machine and no one returns my calls. Ugh!

I as well have been waiting OVER 2 months to get my phone back. I have called twice a day for TWO MONTHS AND NOTHING!!! They dont return phone calls. Im now getying my lawyer on this . I work for an attorney and he paid $500 for my phone that was poorly made. HTC has had my phone LONGER THEN I HAD IT IN MY POSSESSION.
HTC is hands down the worse company to purchase from. NOTHING BUT LIES! I sent them my phone 6 months ago and all I keep getting is excuses - someone is always starting a ticket or escalating the issues - ITS BEEN 6 MONTHS! At this point I am eligible for a HTC U11 - at the very least. All they have is excuse after excuse - for being a mobile device company they sure dont take care of their customers. I paid for my device in full and they cant simply give me a new one? WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AND MANAGEMENT. I AM POSTING NEXT ON FTC, BBB and Attorney General. You brought this on your self HTC!
I had terrible experience with HTC. They lie about their delivery times. If you pay for next or 2nd day delivery, you will NOT receive the item on the next/2nd day. According to their customer service rep, next/2nd day delivery does NOT mean you will receive your item on the next/2nd business day, because next/2nd day delivery does not include order processing time.Following their logic, if it takes them a week to process your order, and then it arrives a day/2 days after it is shipped, it will still be considered next/2nd day delivery. When I asked why it is not clearly explained on their web-site that next/2nd day delivery excludes processing time, the rep said that not all info is posted on the web-site because of some “privacy and fraud-related concerns.” What?! What does privacy and fraud have to do with it? Unless they suggest that deceiving customers and charging them for services they do not receive has something to do with fraud… And, obviously, they do not reimburse for late shipment and delivery. I paid for expedited delivery, did not receive my order when promised because it was only shipped on the day when it was supposed to be delivered, and, of course, or course, did not get reimbursed.
