I live at a Greystar property in the state of Washington in Issaquah at Lakemont Orchard Apt. I had a family emergency that I had to help out with a family member with a substantial amount of money. I asked the Management of Lakemont Orchard if she could take away the 75.00 late fee this one time. I have been here for almost 10 years. I am probably one of the longest here. I have always paid my rent on time and on some occasions a week early. All I asked was 2 extra days past the last day you could pay before you had to pay the late fee. Why am I going to be late if I did not have a certain circumstance that came up on a one time basis after all these years. I am moving out and certainly going to tell people to stay away.
I LIVE AT A GREYSTAR PROPERTY IN MEMPHIS,TN AND THINGS WERE A HELL OF A LOT BETTER BEFORE GREYSTAR TOOK OVER THE PROFESSIONALISM AND ETHICS OF THE MANAGING STAFF IS THE WORSE OF ANY BUSINESS I HAVE EVER HEARD OF OR SEEN. MY APARTMENT WAS CONTAMINATED WITH MOLD FOR SEVERAL MONTHS A MEMPHIS SHELBY COUNTY CODE ENFORCMENT OFFICER HAD TO COME OUT AND CITE THEM BEFORE ANYONE ATTEMPTED TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE.THE CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER ALSO WAS CALLED BY AT LEAST 10 OTHER TENANTS. I ALSO HAD TO RETAIN ANN ATTORNEY WHO CLEARLY STATED GOUNDS FOR LAWSUIT. NOW THE DISTRICT MANAGER COURTNEY JONES IS IN CLEAR RETALLIATION MODE TO FORCE ME TO MOVE BECAUSE THE NEWS CREW CAME OUT AND DISPLAYED SANITATION AND ENVIRONMENT ISSUES. THE SHELBY COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY OFFICE IS SUPPOSE TO BE INVESTIGATING AND FILING AND INJUNCTION DUE TO THE PROPERTY BEING A PUBLIC NUISANCE. GANGS DRUGS AND GUNFIRE IS A HUGE PROBLEM. MEMPHIS POLICE GANG TASK FORCE EVEN TRIED CONVINCING THE MANAGEMENT STAFF OF EVICTING KNOWN GANG MEMBERS TO AVAIL MY NEIGHBORS ARE STILL MY NEIGHBORS. I JUST WONDER WHEN WILL I GET SHOT DUE TO THEIR FAILURE TO PROVIDE A SAFE LIVING PLACE.
This is tenents from your Puyallup,Washington community there has been so many issues here,we are relly tired of this community. Pool does not work bikes in gym do not work managers say they will fix it but that has not happened. Have complaints on other tenents they say they will take care of it well that did not happen.We have been here awhile and do not think how much more we can take.We are dicussed with this place thought it would be what we wanted but we a really disapointed......
I currently live in Champions Park Apartments located in Thornton Colorado..I dont claim to know much about Greystar but I do know that the property manager here doesn't even know the corporate headquarters phone number or won't release it. This arrogant woman thinks she has the right or power to suppress people's first amendment rights and basic renter rights. Why would Greystar hire such an incompetent ignorant woman at all. I am a 55 year old male with severe diabetes and hypertension. A notice was put out to notify of paving and striping of parking lots. Certain areas were slated for certain dates. The paving was done one day earlier then scheduled causing significant noise etc. Even automobiles were being towed to other locations which I feel was improper and violated the owners' rights. I work nights so scheduled alternate sleeping arrangements for tonight when work was supposed to be done...but now I am wide awake due to this so called mistake. She was mainly concerned of one curse word to her thin skinned receptionist. I claim renters have rights to the Property they rent and certain laws and regulations be followed. They increase rent by 8.5 percent and then violate peoples rights..By the way is clearly posted above 713-953-7007...Thats the number I will be giving to my attorney during consultation...maybe Skye Elkins Community Manager should grab her crayon and scribble it on her lunchbox as well.property they rent that supercede those of the owners. .especially when not correctly scheduled or renters are not properly notified.
Greystar just acquired Post Rice in Houston. They are planning to update apartment and raise rents. Therefore, they are not putting any money in the meantime to keep maintenance up to standard and keep the place livable. Dirty carpets stained carpet, vomit on stairwell for days before cleaning, hole in the wall outside my apartment which they were not going to fix but I raised hell, elevator broken, foul smell in hallway, walls need painting and chunks missing on corner walls from tenants moving in and out and the list goes on.I pay 2233 a month plus to live in a dump. New Management is horrible and I can't wait to the end of my lease..

There is no fire evacuation plan in the Urban Rice Lofts. We had a fire alarm on the 13th floor next door to me from a tenant who left a pizza in the oven. Most of the residents who evacuated assembled in the lobby of the building they were suppose to be evacuating. There are no practice drills or assembly area for residents in case of evacuation. The apartment that set off the incident must be vacant as the smoke smell is still pervasive outside my door. One of the firemen stated the ladders only go up to the 9th floor so I do not know how I will escape from the 13 th floor windows if I cannot exit my front door in case of another emergency. I am concerned for my safety as it should be. Are there fire ladders in the building with instructions as to how tenants should use?I did contact the Houston Fire Department and have left messages for Senior Fire Inspector Blackmon to return my call. Although Greystar Management does not value sanitary living conditions for its tenants, it should value safety above all else..
We live in the Sawgrass Resort Community Apartments in Corpus Christi, Texas. I would like to know if it has become the policy of the Greystar Corp to allow un tagged and out of date vehicles to remain on their property, as long as they pay the office a 25.00 parking space rental fee, there are vehicles on this property that don't run not tagged at all stickers way out of date but when they are brought to the office's attention they say as long as they are paying the company its legal, but yet others are towed away I don't see how it's legal or right

I live at the Eden Prairie, Minnesota property with my two children. For the last 2-3 years the staff at this location will not help, have no customer service or professionalism. The garage has been broken into several times, the maintenance if they come have said inappropriate comments to you. In the laundry room the driers and washers keep braking down and will not be fixed for months. Projects that get started never get finished for weeks. It is very hazardous having things in the middle of walk ways, stairs, and real trashy in the middle of the foyer not completed. When I call to speak to someone the manager is not around ever,( I did see her hiding and gossiping with the staff) then the assistant manager Jordan has the sales girl" Geri" hang up on me. The way they treat people is apprehensible!! I need to know who is the district supervisor who over sees this property? I have asked and always get the run around with them, so I want to have a name and email with phone number.Thanks,
I just moved in the Outlook Apartments in Graham, WA and I was treated very rude by the manager at the property.. She was very rude and didn't care much of the residents who is paying rent there. The property has charge me up the storm and has no respect regarding my concerns. She says it is my problem. What kind of a managers is she? Not a very good and has horrible people skills!!!

I live in Hidden Harbor apartments Royal Palm Beach, FL. This management is the worst ever!!! Upon moving in I was told by a staff member that the rental increases would be about $50, well I was slapped with a $167 increased which I fought down to $100. Now I come to find out MY apartment is the ONLY ONE NOT upgraded. Yes, this that were broken did get "rigged" back together, but not upgraded as I was told when my increase was issued...Since I have been her for about 3 years, I have had a fire and a flood and broken pies and electrical hazards. But still NO UPGRADES!I went and looked at another neighbors apartment and to my surprise he ad Ceiling Fans, Light Fixtures, Tile Floors, and beautiful Cabinetry. He must of looked at me so ridiculous for me to think that was heaven... When I asked for the email to the Head Quarters to write a letter, I was told I HAD to go through them. Something "fishy" going on...BEWARE

Called this number seems it was the wrong number...My rent went up last year $30 now again $45 rent going up cause economy yet no upgrades been here 10 yrs and for the most part things haven't changed much. Very not happy..
I live in Lynnwood, WA and applied at a community that said they accepted Section 8. Think they had to because it was originally built for low income. Then Greystar bought it. None of the other Greystar communities in my area accept Section 8. The manager told me I got denied because of an old misdemeanor charge. I don't believe it. I have never been denied because of a misdemeanor charge. Greystar doesn't want to accept Section 8 so used it as an excuse. Now, after reading the above comments I guess I should be glad I didn't get the place.
i live in ashford druid hills in atlanta, ga. which was newly taken over by graystar. i dont think anything can make this place worse. the manager refuses to return emails or calls. i am currently battling bugs in my bed and i have no resolve.
My daughter lives in a Greystone property in San Antonio. She was the victim of a violent crime, and has been advised for safety reasons, she should vacate the area. The manager of the property was very understanding, but told us that it would be up to corporate management to decide if they would let her out of her lease. (We provided a letter from her attorney and offered to get something sent from the DA,,,but they refused.) Ive been trying to get in touch with someone-but I cant seem to reach anyone in corporate. Its hard to imagine that even the most callous of people would not show a little compassion. I don't blame the staff at the apartment- the decision came from higher! Very disappointing!
I live in the Vinoy at Innovation Park Apartments in charlotte,nc.I whave been in this community a long time.Always paid my rent on time.Me and my wife lived in a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 years.My wife passed away on feburary 22nd of this year.I could not afford the 2 bedroom by myself any more.I asked to get out of my lease because of my wife passing and they said no to that.I had to move into a one bedroom that I still cannot really afford.I have made 4 complaints about the water stains in my bathroom ceiling.Nothing has been done yet.I really just want to move out and live somewhere else.U would think my wife passing on would be good enough reason to let me out of my lease.Nobody in the office cares about that.Its all about the money.
I applied at the apartment owned by Greystar Hidden Woods of Lithonia GA and they never called me back to give me back my 40.00 this was in April of 2015 and I have calling and they keep telling me I got to wait a month the check coming from Texas, some bull shit never again. Nothing good will come from them taking my money.

Greystar made their vendors accept direct deposit for their payments which was supposed to speed up payments. Not only did it not speed them up, it actually slowed them down. I tried to get their telephone number to find out what the problem was but the telephone number on their website is not even the correct number.
Atty General of Texas - Greystar property buy ups - need to end. They have made our city, an eyesore in Memorial, Galleria, Westoaks, Eldridge corridor. They are money gouging forcing long term residencies to split and be leaseholders and changing the utility billing to charge flat rates of $70+ to each individual, making water stormwater, etc costing 3x the amount of payment due to the community making it $210/month for water billing per one occupancy dwelling of 2 or 3 bdrm units. This is a for profit scheme, and they (Greystar) needs to be put on trial for their deceptive practices that have been going on for years.

I moved from a Graystar community in West Valley City, Utah. Everything was finalized November 28, 2015. Out of a $300.00 deposit I was supposed to get back $77.00. I left the place a lot cleaner than I found it. Cleaned everything, including under the fridge and stove. They charged me for a blind that had normal wear and tear. I had been there 3 years and the blind was such cheap plastic it was amazing it lasted 3 years. ***Haven't seen a check from them yet.*** Mary Carter Overlook Point WVC, Ut. formerly Apt 197.
Canyon Creek in Wilsonville, Oregon was ok until Greystar took over. It is an "uptight nervous" place. Residents are freaked out by the added fees and harassment by staff. I was walking my dog and the manager came out and yelled art a girl for walking the dog for a resident. She apparently lives somewhere else and walks dogs for a living. There is no parking space at Canyon Creek in Wilsonville. The trash situation is crazy. No one is friendly now because they are afraid of the neighbors saying something and staff retaliating against them. It is a stressful place to live! We all have to be "Anonymous" because Oregon is a "NO FAULT" eviction state. This means women and children get thrown to the cement for no reason! The police cannot help you here.
No repairs if you put the request in writing which is a legal necessity in Oregon. There is a "repair line" that is not made available by staff. We have lived without an oven, dryer, or drains that drain for three months now. We pay rent, but they want $400.00 for unexplained miscellaneous charges. This is a no fault eviction state, so we can't complain to the staff.
Stay away from Greystar and any property they manage. The managers of the complex I live in have treated me like crap since the apartment above me had a "loose hose" and my apartment got flooded because of it. I have been treated like garbage and ignored. I've been promised a phone call on three separate occasions and have never gotten called. Work has been pushed back, no notifications. It has been a major headache and no one provides any empathy for the situation at all. I pay my rent on time, I never cause problems. I cannot stand living here anymore. And my rent is not cheap.
I lived at Bella Vista IN Elk Grove, CA. and terminated my lease early due to job loss, high rent, high vacancy rates, lower renting standards for new residents. I paid rent on time and was a good resident of the community. Upon leaving, I paid my rent penalty of $2300 and appropriate charges. Mgt. then decided to remodel my apt and charge me an added $60.00 to help clean it up after a total remodel even though I was instructed to only clean windows and vacuum carpet. The office girls just cannot find it in them to walk down the asphalt in their high heels and due the inspections they are required to. Had to deal with homeless coming through the complex several nights a week and ravaging the dumpsters to get bottles and cans to return and, exit gates not working properly so residents can have more than one place to enter/exit the facility (fire concern here?????) What a place. So glad to be out after 8 months. Although it was just painted, the complex is still run down with raised concrete sidewalks, cracked asphalt driveways, poor exterior lighting and very high turnover and high vacancy rates. Not a place to feel safe or free to be yourself.
What a horrible place to live. I currently stay at Station at MacArthur in Irving. This property has changed owners again. The front leasing office Manager does not know how nor chooses to deal with complaints properly. I've paid my high rent faithfully every month. I've had to contend with 5 mice, resident who overcrowd the parking lot with 4 and 5 cars, where paying residents have to risk their lives in the dark when coming in late. NO SECURITY!!!!. I live next door to a NYMPHOMANIAC. All times of night can't sleep due to her at nigh activities. When I complain to management to address it they just sit around looking at each other searching on how to address it. A simple pen to the paper and stick it inside her mailbox would suffice. They sit in that office all glammed up and can't do the simple thing, write a note. This has gone on for at least 4 months. I've loss days of work due to a lack of sleep. Now had it been front of family or loved ones experiencing this it might had a different outcome. When i ask for a credit for missing work they simple ignore it and says just suck it up and deal with it. I advised management today that someone will get hurt on this property because maintenance walks into units without proper notification. I've seen many times and have notified some guys to be careful when entering these units. I've been walked in several times and this is frightful. There gonna try it on the wrong tenant and take them for a robber. They'll just cover it up, like they do everything else. I've tried reaching out to Corporate and their just as incompetent as the manager they hire. Businesses don't keep good tenant by mistreating them and not responding to complaint. They just receive bad blogs about how horrible the properties are ran. Mold infested and old apartment complex.
It seems ridiculous that if you live in a apartment complex for 8 yrs that you move to another unit you have to pay another deposit and market rate. I f could have found another place to live I would have. They make promises and don't keep them.

I am a resident at the Pinnacle at Union Hills in Phoenix, Arizona and have been for almost 3 years. There are some major issues with my unit that have not been fixed and are health issues. The Windows in my eat-in area let large amounts of water in every time it rains. I have pictures and videos of exactly how much comes in. The Windows themselves are severely damaged and the areas around them show water damage and mold. I first informed the manager of this issue early in my lease. She sent out maintenance, window specialists and a roofer to see why they are leaking. None of them fixed the issue or did anything for that matter. After numerous emails about the problem, I was told by an office manager that Windows are going to leak when there is blowing rain. I find this completely unacceptable. Monsoon season is coming and I need new Windows and they need to be sealed properly. I also need the issues caused by the water in surrounding areas fixed. In my first 3 months at the residence, my shower in the master bathroom was leaking into the wall that it shared with my closet. Every time I would take a shower, the carpet in my closet would puddle with water and I could hear the water dripping in the wall. Maintenance fixed the leak, and they had someone come replace the baseboards that were water damaged, but the carpet is still there and there is mold inside the wall. They had the wall cut open and I took pictures of the mold. The office tells me it isn't mold, but it is very clearly black mold. My closet still smells musty. My toddler is allergic to mold and she has reactions whenever she is in my bedroom. The last person that came to look at the closet said they were going to get something from their truck and then return, but left and never came back. I emailed the apartment manager to inform them and all she said was, "That is strange. I will see what I can do. ". Haven't heard anything since. The net issue is roaches. The office has been great about getting me on the spray list regularly. Unfortunately, spraying is not taking care of the issue. I have large roaches on walls and ceilings frequently. I have taken pictures of every roach I have found in the unit and I have over 80 pictures. I cannot have massive amounts of roaches in an apartment that my daughter lives in. I need to speak with someone who can help me remedy these issues immediately.

Ok, where to start??? First off, JILL IS AWESOME and by far the most professional and respectful associate in the whole office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The apartments here are nice on the inside, but make sure you do a thorough walk-through! When I initially moved in, there was a massive amount of mold outside of the front door; on the floor to the side of the door and going up the wall. When I notified the office, hot water was all that was used! When I went to give my daughter a bath, I bent down and the rims under the wall part of the tub were filled with red grime and so dirty that I had to spend about an hour or so to thoroughly clean the tub. I had to have the carpets throughout the home shampooed twice prior to my move in and that still didn't make them any better; the dark spots in the carpet where heavy traffic was is still very prevalent and they were hard feeling to the touch! The breezeways are completely dirty at all times and could be blown out at least twice a week to get rid of the debris that blows in daily, but I see that is not on the top of the priority list with all of the maintenance men riding around on their little golf carts all day; even to pick up trash on the grass as they drive on the grass and sidewalks; who does that?!?!?!?!The steps are HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! There is spit or cigarette buts on them and lets not mention the massive amounts of webs & bugs in them! Its hard to get my daughter outside the door sometimes because she's so afraid of bugs and they are all over the breezeways and stuck on the steps.I digress, another thing that has to be noted is that I've only been here for 4 months and I have already seen 3 people in my building (1 couple was only here for maybe a month) move out and at least 1-2 weeks later, someone else was moving in; there is no way that these apartments could have been properly cleaned and disinfected for the next tenant in that small amount of time! Ok, here's more, the staff is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! They lack professionalism, they are very young, and you can forget trying to get someone on the phone to discuss something; you're better off going into the office and waiting about 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge you and actually try to help you maybe about 10-15 minutes later! The grounds of the apartment complex are nice, but for some reason, they have 2 pools (one is almost always out of service), a doggie park and NO PLAYGROUND FOR CHILDREN!!!!!! I am at a complete loss with that one!!If you ever are told something from someone in the office regarding your financial account, or your stay here at all, make sure you record it, date, time and person with whom you spoke with because they are quick to say, nope, I didn't say that!!!!!!!!!! My rental account was messed up (a mistake made on the office personnel's part) and I am now forced to rectify that mistake oh and one more thing........no one called me regarding said mistake; THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The walls are paper thin, as I can hear my next door neighbors close their kitchen cabinets and I can hear my downstairs neighbor's music; living room and bedroom; I can even hear their bathroom fan on and smell anything that they may be cooking. The trash is a WHOLE different story....we pay for trash (well it shows up on my bill every month so I guess I pay for it, not sure for what though) but there seems to be a heap of trash built up at the only trash receptacle in the whole complex for months at a time, not sure why there's only one either!! There are mattresses, box springs, couches and so many other large items just sitting there with this very tiny sign that says "no dumping" which I promise you NO ONE SEES THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Drivers FLY through the parking lots paying no mind to the signs posted & never mind the fact that a child may be playing nearby or riding their bicycle; even the UPS man comes flying through here in his box box truck.
Greetings, September 5, 2016 My Mom and I have been residents of a Greystar property in Port Orange, Fl. for almost two year and have been very pleased with every aspect of the townhome living facility. Unfortunately, we recently received some unexpected news that would require us to break our lease and move out of state . At which time I approached “Diana” ( leasing assoc. ) and explained our quandary. She was extremely professional and assisted with every aspect of terminating our lease. She did all off this with a smile and couldn’t have been nicer. Three weeks before our move, my Mom was diagnosed with an illness that would require immediate treatment. We decided that the best road of recovery would be right here in Florida with an already established medical team we trusted. With the new health crisis still fresh in our minds I was reminded that our current apartment had been promised to a new tenant. What were we going to do…? I said a prayer and located Eric ( property manager ) and informed him of Mom’s medical situation and our need to stay at our current address. He understood our urgency, and agreed to assist in any way he could. By the end of that business day Eric called and informed us that “our” apartment was still “OUR” apartment..!!!We were both over-joyed and thanked Eric for the “mini” miracle he performed. He humbly informed me that “Diana” had assisted with this miraculous event as well.. Eric & Diana human kindness .With our wonderful apartment secured, we can now channel all of our energy on getting better…GREAT JOB, Eric & Diana….Human kindness goes a loooooooooong way..!GOD Bless,Kevin
I am a Resident at Waterbrook Apartments in California and have only been here 2 weeks. The 2nd day I was here I went onto my patio and there were maggots in a empty plastic storage container that was on a Sunday. We threw everything away. There was nothing on our patio. Then the next day I opened patio door and there were more maggots. I spent half the day killing them. When I called and told the landlords they said the Pest guy would be out on Tuesday afternoon. He only comes out one day a week. So he sprayed and the next morning on our patio more maggots and some other half dead half alive bugs. Finally after about week and a half the maggots seem to have gone but now there were dead flies. On Tuesday, October 25th when i opened patio door the whole patio floor is covered in maggots and found some outside front door and along walkway. I spoke to Management and she just said it would be taken care of. It has been almost an hour since I spoke to them and all they Maggots are now coming into my house
I have been trying to contact the Property Manager, Krista Contras. for 2 weeks to no avail. My 83rd year mother was told that her lease would not be renewed due to payment history & mind you, the payments have been late because my family experienced a death in our family, My Brother died unexpectantly & my Mother is still dealing with the depression of it all. She has been in and out of the hospital suffering with not only a broken heart but heart problems, pneumonia, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. I only wanted to know since Clover Creek will not be renewing her lease & the lease is up 3/27/17, if we find her an apartment to move in by February 27, 2017, will Clover Creek & GreyStar let her out of her lease? It would only be 1 month early since her lease is up 3/27/17. My 83year old mother can not afford to pay an extra month's lease & also rent at another location also. Could someone please help us???? I live at Atlantic at Parkridge in Irmo SC and I was late on my rent for April due to oversight. Two days earlier I had call spoken to management and did not mention my rent was late nor any email concerning this. I came home last night to a note saying rent was late and $150 late fee. I tired to go on line and pay my rent but my account was disabled. I then tried to send comments to the apartment concerning this issue but profile was disabled as well. I think it was very unprofessional not to put a note on the door, call or email concerning rent being late. Most of the complex is filled with nuclear contractors and our business and needs are not met satisfactory word gets out quick.I will not recommend your apartments from any of the staff at the VC Summer Nuclear Site due to this issue. Thank you.
The staff at Lauren Ridge, Lexington,SC, are not much better.This does NOT include maintenance. If it weren't for Joe and Terrell, this place would be REALLY bad.
We live at Merritt on 3rd in Oakland CA. There are a great many tenants who are consistently breaking the rules of the lease agreements that they all signed yet marijuana and cigarette smoke and stench infiltrates my unit on a daily basis. Management gives us the run around when we meet stating that they are working on finding the offending tenants. This has been going on since we moved in 4 months ago. I called a lawyer and was told that Greystar has breached its own contract/lease agreement by not enforcing their own rules and we can file a civil case against them, and all tenants who are smoking in their units that causes a breach of our right to "peaceful enjoyment of our home" (paraphrasing). The lease states there is no smoking anywhere in or out of the building. We are getting sick from it so we also found out that we can file a personal injury lawsuit due to second hand smoke. We are going to present this information today: CCP Nuisance code violations 1161(3), 8.22.350, 8.22.360, 8.22.360A.4, 8.22.360A.5., and 8.22.360A.6. We have also filed a complaint with the city council for our district. To all of you: you have to come out swinging before these so-called "people" will do anything. They are in for a huge lawsuit if this issue is not remedied immediately.
My family and I live at Mountain view casisa in Phoenix. This place is being very unsafe.Our roof is slowly breaking apart,one burnt out complex caving in.Making us all sick. My flat has issues with the water pipes breaking.g due to neighbors drilling into the ceiling.drug dealing and human trafficking in the parking lot this is twisted. I have had enough of this, we have no choice but to move out fyi you do choose to let the office know you will be kicked out my advice don't move in here
