Where do I find Material Safety Data Sheets on your webpage. There is no link or any information of who supplies your cleaning products for the appliances that you offer
Over a year ago I purchase a Frigidaire dishwasher (SN-TH44838255). 4 months into having this product it displayed a UO error. I contacted Frigidaire to request service. during the space of 6 months, Frifidaire have replaced the Control Board (TWICE), the Vent Fans (TWICE), and the Warring Hoariness (TWICE). I have spoken to a manager (so called) by the name of Daniele L. who told me that there is no one higher in the company I can speak with to rectify this problem. I expressed my frustration to Danielle L and requested that the product be replaced. However, Daniele states their techs claimed the product can be fixed. 8 MONTHS lated after the warranty have expired, Hours lost from my job and I am left washing dishing by hand I am then talked into purchasing an extended warranty in which I can request for a replacement after one month if a service tech states the product cannot be repaired. Well, I am still having THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM and Frigidaire still refuses to replace the product even after the field service tech suggest the Product CANNOT BE FIXED and a tech on the phone gave a code to the field service tech to have the product replaced. CONGRATULATIONS Frigidaire. YOU SOLD ME A LEMON, LIED TO ME AND HAVE SUCCESSFUL WAITED ME OUT.I understand you are a large company with plenty of resources but I am not. I am simply a consumer who cannot afford to spent money without feeling and seeing the impact of it on my family. Your Company have truly left me with a lasting distaste for it.Ernest I.
I only wish I would have done a better job, of reviewing the reviews? Not everyone takes the time to post one. Frigidaire makes it sound like they are so concerned but, I never believe their Social Media people are employees. They act more like sub-contractors. We are glad this is our very last house and we will not have to hassle with an appliance, let down selection process again... D.R.H. / H.D.I. !
I have applied for a rebate. I have heard nothing. I called the number 800-374-4432, which gave me 706-860-4110. At this point they gave me this number 800-572-8045. Gabriella told me to fax all of the copies of my rebate to 866-964-1214. Two days later when I called Parago to make sure my rebate paperwork was received I was told they do not handle Frigidaire.I am EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED. I called 866-973-2970 who hung up on me because I have not waited 8 weeks. It has been 4 weeks. If I am not assured paperwork has been received by may 30th, I lose my rebate. 8 weeks is 2 weeks after your final required received date.I did not track this mail, and am now very sorry I have not done so.I am now on the phone with 706-860-4110 and it has been a 25 minute hold.I am extremely unhappy with how I have been treated and the lack of professionalism in this process. I have now been given 866-226-7076.The automated service told me to check the web site listed on the form, but there is no web site listed on the form. I went through the automated service only to be told to leave a message.I was then hung up on, again.I called 866-226-7076 and was told Parago does handle Frigidaire and that I am to call them again. To say that I am presently seething would be an understatement. I EXPECT a remedy regarding this situation immediately.
I have a 3 year old refrigerator that has a crack on the side. The repairman put a piece of tape to cover it. Now there is no help from Frigidaire to help with cost of repair or no guarantee if it happens again. And don't take them to small claims court because there is no registered agent in Florida and you have to go to NC for court. I will never have another Frigidaire appliance in my house and I will tell everyone I know not to buy one either.
Same here! I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator and within a few months, the sealing gasket on my freezer became warped. It took me over TWO MONTHS to finally get a new freezer door and to top it off, the serviceman was going to put the BAD gasket seal back onto the freezer!! I too have told everyone I know to NEVER buy a Frigidaire product!
My parents purchased were forced to buy a new fridge and a stand alone freezer when theirs broke at the same time. They made the MISTAKE of purchasing Frigidare for both. When I say mistake!!!! I mean NEVER EVER will I purchase a Frigidare product after what they have been through and I will make sure that anyone I know doesn't either! From day one nothing but problems with both! The freezer seal is not sealing and everything is frozen over, the same with the fridge. They have been told that they needed to use service men that they referred, but that the item could not be returned. They service men have been out a total of over 8 times and the products are worse now than when they started. My parents are both elderly. My father suffers from heart disease, and my mother has cancer and also going in for surgery for her heart. Should she seriously be dealing with this crap?! She purchased two new items, and has had nothing but a headache! NEVER EVER AGAIN ANYTHING FRIGIDARE!
your site sucks big time!!!
Apparently I am not the only person disappointed with a Frigidaire appliance and treatment by the warranty company. My new Frigidaire refrigerator was installed two weeks ago. Apparently there is a defect (blockage, not ice or debris) in the hose drain which is not repairable by the serviceman. The solution recommended by the official tech (Electrolux Major Appliances) is to install an external drain on the back of the appliance. Obviously, I am very disappointed in this "fix" which will add more space to the back of the fridge and does not repair the original defect! In the meantime, water drainage has damaged my new wood floor! Shame on Fridgidaire for not replacing this new appliance in which I invested a lot of money. Needless to say, I will never buy another Frigidaire!!
Buyers BEWARE of not just the Frigidaire products but the extended warranties. I accepted an offer for an extended warranty that said, "..by adding 3 years coverage for the price of 2, you'll be protected through March 31, 2015.." So I paid the amount then Frigidaire claims it was computer error and I'm covered only through March 31, 2014. I say it's BLATANT FRAUDULENT PRACTICES!!!!! Someone at Frigidaire MUST be held accountable!
Another unsatisfied customer. 2 month old Fridgidaire -Top freezer refrigerator. Repairman says freezer liner shrunk, not repairable, must be replaced. Took me 3 weeks of constant phone calls, hours on hold, being called a liar, told I was wasting their time, and threatening to report them to the Attorney General's office to finally get them to issue a return authorization number. When the retailer offered me the option of switching to another brand for an even exchange, I ran, not walked to Maytag! Will never again buy Frigidaire, or Electrolux and am telling everyone I know NOT to buy their products.
They are amazingly horrible.harass them as much as possible. The only way you can get a response . After calling corporate and pestering their service company , which is a seperate company, I finally got it fixed only because they wanted to shut me up. Also with the brand new fridge the ice maker wasn't working. They told me several times that it has to be the filter and I told them I have already changed it. After multiple visits and bullshit excuses that I wouldn't stand for they replaced it with a brand new one and did all installing shit as I told them they were doing. Kick their ass. You paid them. Now fix it. Keep at them. Throw how it gets done. Remember, harass corporate.
The gas range, which I bought 2 years ago, got electrical fire and require more then $700 in repair. The fire was obviously caused by faulty equipment. The technician I called for repair, said we were lucky that the house was not burned down and nobody was hurt! I have pictures and report.I am pretty disturbed how my problem was handled by customer service. They said the range is not under warranty anymore (only 1 year warranty) and there is no recall. Electrical wire fire was obviously not wear and tear problem! I asked maybe it should be recalled - THIS IS DANGEROUS! NOT OK to deal with leaking gas and burning wires even after warranty expires! I was told the company is not going to help - not their problem after 1 year warranty!
Another dis-satisfied customer - with a washer - I purchased a new washer/dryer in July - so far I'm having to re-wash loads 3x's - have tripled my laundry water use, tripled my hot water bill, tripled my laundry detergent use - oh and over quadtripled my amount of laundry - since I can only wash 3 pair of jeans, 2 sweatshirts and 3 t-shirts at a time - in order to be able to re-wash them...I have contacted customer service who just told me to use hot water - DUH!!!! Oh and have their service people come out, yet I purchased it from a place who sells fridigaire. Tech service said nothing was wrong. I challenge the corporate president, vice president to come to my home and watch this washer wash clothes and then tell me there is nothing wrong. I have videos and pictures of clothes that have gone through a wash cycle up to 3 times - still dirty. Oh the lid also falls on your head - it fell on my head, on my mother-in-law cutting her head open. This is getting closer to a lawsuit as the days go on and they don't seem to care. Better Business Bureau next, local tv stations next if I don't get some type of answer. I want the washer/dryer removed and replaced!!! Dis-Satisfied in Ohio!!!!
Three people I know are having and have had problems with their Frigidaire appliances. One had a dishwasher and wound up throwing it out and buying a new dishwasher. She told me she'll buy any brand except Frigidaire. And my niece wrote letters to the company about her defective Frigidaire refrigerator abut got nowhere. Word of advice: Do Not buy FRIGIDAIRE products!
I most certainly agree with all of you. We purchased a refrigerator almost 4 months ago and still are fighting for a new one. The 1st week we had it we knew something was wrong. The 4th service company Frigidaire told ME to call, found the problem when no one else could. It has a bad compressor. Still Frigidaire would not stand behind it. The best way we found to deal with this if you financed the product call the finance company, explain what is going on and stop payment. This will not hurt your credit. We will never buy Frigidaire again nor recommend the brand to ANYONE!
Talk about disappointed! I just purchased a frigidaire side by side fridge. Two weeks and it breaksdown. I have to wait one week for it to be serviced meanwhile myu friggin food is spoiling. WTF I will NEVER NEVER NEVER buy another Frigidaire product AGAIN!!!!!!
This is not right they get away with this! We too purchased a frigidaire -washer. Bought in Feb 2014 and only worked correctly until Oct 2014. After an exhausting 2 months of getting the run around from even their so called Corporate Managers we have been forced to purchase another washer or go without one. Can't use their piece of junk or will risk it pulling the water hoses out of the wall and possibly causing major water damage. Washer just started out of the blue not walking but bouncing out into the hall way or into wall to the point wasn't sure which would come first a whole in the floor, it's on a second floor, or pull water hoses off wall. Their solution was sending us an electronic version of the owners manual and for us to level it HAHAHA like we hadn't tried that yet. Then it was for us to load it up and haul it to the nearest service WE could find, that would be 2 hrs away and for US to pay them and we could try to get reimbursed. Explained to them day 1 my husband and I are older and not physically able to get washer out of the house let alone take it on a 2 hr trip and I don't believe we would get reimbursed after the run around they have given us for over 2 months and then if not able to fix I would still have to buy a washer. I have personally phoned the 2 service repair business they kept telling me were coming and were not. 1 flat out told me he nor anyone in the area would repair for frigidaire because they do not pay their bills! Wow I had to believe him after having been lied to by them over and over. I hope their is something I can do legally to at least recoup part of the money of cost of their piece of junk. I too am yelling as loud as I can to anyone who will listen Do Not Buy a Frigidaire/Electrolux products. They only sell you a pretend warranty and products "As Is" and their condition is J"JUNK"
Any advice on getting a hold of someone at the corp office? We had a 14 month old fridge compressor ignite and almost set the house ablaze. Their customer service team told me it was out of warranty, regardless of a potential defect. I've been unable to get anyone outside of a CS rep on the phone. Any advice?
I purchase a 30" Frigidaire single wall electric oven in 2014. From the very 1st day it was not working. We call your company and upon till this day the oven is still not working. If I need to bake something I have to ask my neighbor. WHAT AM I TO DO?
I was very satisfied with a Frigidaire Washing Machine I purchased. I purchased the top of the line. Originally there was a problem with the mother board but I called them and they took care of it efficiently. After many years of use and still paying the warranty...it died. They immediately put in a order for a contractor to come out. The contractor was my problem. Once the contractor came out, he declared it dead. I went back to Lowe's to find a new Frigidaire Washing Machine and they didn't have any and Frigidaire will not give you a credit card so you can go out and buy a machine somewhere else. They had to ship me a washing machine to another location. I had to choose one off the internet and the selection was slim to none. I made a mistake and chose one that was not up to par with the great one I had previously purchased. I had never seen this machine. When I got it home and unboxed it, I immediately said OH NO!...this machine is not up to the standards of my dead machine. I did not use the machine. I called them and explained my situation and they would not exchange the machine. I did not use the machine for 2 weeks thinking they would come to their senses, but they didn't Now I am stuck with a machine of less quality than the one I had. I despise it. I have been complaining for over a year now. I have sent out letters to anyone I could come up with who had some clout. No one has ever contacted me. I am still receiving letters in the mail to renew my warranty. In the mean time, I needed a new refrigerator and I was not about to buy or even look at the Frigidaire because of the cruel, awful, lowdown, shameful, greedy, upsetting, painful, unpleasant (and any other unkind word one can think of) treatment I received. Yes, I accidentally picked out the wrong machine, but they could have and I believe still should give me another high quality machine. There was no reason they could not have exchanged the machine. They just don't care is all I can come up with. Debra Purvis, Milton, NC Dissatisfied Customer still after a year.
This Frigidaire refrigerator is by far the worst appliance that I have ever purchase. I have been having issues with the parts on this refrigerator since it was delivered to my house before I even put anything in it. I had to replace so many parts on this appliance since I purchased it that it is absolutely ridiculous. Every time I call they tell me the same thing, it's a functioning refrigerator because it actually works. How can a refrigerator be considered functioning if I can't even put things on the door without the door guard breaking. How can they say that the refrigerator can hold a gallon container on the door but the guard can't hold the gallon without everything falling out. This is just crazy. Now I have to get the door handle replaced for the second time. That means that if I don't put in for an extended warranty, I will be paying out of pocket every time something breaks, which apparently it will, on this refrigerator. I have had way too many issues within the first year of having this appliance that it's not even funny. I'm not surprised to see all of these other complaints. I have definitely learned my lesson. I will not ever purchase another one of their appliances again. They have definitely lost my business and anyone I know who is thinking about purchasing something from them.
i purchased a gas range.. and had to pay 200.00 to a plumber to connect it. the thing is a piece of junk!!! the entire stove gets hot when u use the oven... it is made like back in the 1970's.... i am stuck with it as i cannot afford another plumbers trip to disconnect and reconnect etc..... i cannot believe the poor quality of this thing..... i am so disgusted.
I purchased this fridge in February and was delivered on May 12, 2014, Immediately upon my wife arriving home, she noticed that the french doors weren't evenly flush. We immediately called the number provided to us in the event there was a problem. We called and scheduled someone to come out and take a look, They came out two days later and tried to adjust the doors, but to no avail. The technician determined that the door was defective. I called Home Depot on the third day and was told that "48 hours has passed and I have to call the manufacturer" Home Depot simply turned their back, and washed their hands of us after the sale. They should have replaced the unit.To make this complaint as short as possible, I will only say that the communications with Frigidaire was the most painful and frustrating thing I've ever experienced, After numerous calls, five technician visits, and wasted hours of vacation time, they finally came to the same conclusion that the initial technician did that it was defective and decided to replace the unit. That was determined in April. Today is July 7th and my replacement just arrived. I can't begin to tell you how difficult the process was. I received a call from them to say that the unit was on back order and that they would update me weekly on the status. They only contacted me once after the initial call only to tell me that the replacement unit was damaged and they would update me when the new one ships. That was the last I heard from them until June 15th. I received an email stating that the unit was shipped and the email provided a link to track it. The link provided information for a delivery for someone in Chicago. After numerous calls to Frigidaire, it was finally determined that my unit was shipped to a local delivery company that doesn't do home deliveries until they have enough merchandise to deliver to a specific area. When I contacted that company, they had no record of the shipment and instructed me to call Frigidaire again. After 45 minutes on the phone with them, the support person found the unit at the warehouse of the local company I contacted. He assured me that I would have the unit by the end of the week and would be in touch with me to setup a delivery time. I never heard from him again. When I called back the following week and spoke to a different support person, she told me that she couldn't understand his notes and that she emailed him for clarification and that someone would call me back. That never happened as well. I finally called the local company and made arrangements for them to delivery the unit and place it in my garage because they don't typically do home deliveries and can't set it up. He scheduled the delivery for Monday, June 29th. I never received a call from them. I called the next day and told them that I would pick it up. On June 7th, at 1:30 pm I received a call from a delivery guy sitting in my driveway with a delivery. I had no idea they were coming. Again I had to leave work to take delivery. The fridge sat in a warehouse of a company that doesn't do home deliveries since 6/8/15."DEFINITION of 'Customer Service'The process of ensuring customer satisfaction with a product or service. Often, customer service takes place while performing a transaction for the customer, such as making a sale or returning an item. Customer service can take the form of an in-person interaction, a phone call, self-service systems, or by other means."Apparently Frigidaire didn't explain this to their people during the hiring process.
I have spent hours upon hours regarding a refigerator less than 1 yr. old..bottom line..only because iam so frustrated with this company....with broken parts, poorest customer service, letters to corporate headquarters board members, president, etc., certified, without even a response..and latest..waitng for an apt only to find out the company doesn't even exist!!!! Another day's pay!!already reported to BBB and Atlantic commerce..NOTHING,! HOW CAN THIS COMPANY CONTINUE TO GETVAWAY WITH THIS DIS SERVICE?
You are so right Jill. Just today, one of my neighbors was telling me she is going to upgrade her appliances and was looking at a Frigidaire refrigerator. I stopped her and told her never to buy any of their products. Their appliances are made out of tissue paper and the don't stand behind any of them.
Still on hold...1 hr...and forty minutes..and that just for today! Was given a direct line and extension..and the phone has been ringing for the past twenty minutes..no one even picks up.....was given an apt for repair..and the phone number..nor company doesn't even exist...run away from frigidaire as fast as you can...customer service is what it's all about, and they don't have a clue! 1-707-651-1751. Ext.7480...; lots if luck!
I to have a 2 month old fridge that the repair man has fixed 3 times.Oh ya, he will be back on Tuesday because it's still not fixed. On the bright side my garbage is getting richer hauling all my food away.Thank s cooperate for not letting him fix it right the first time. But know this it will be the last product of theirs that I or my 9 brothers and sisters will ever buy.
bought a new house w/Frigidaire appliances. first day of possession the refrigerator makes noise like it's vibrating apart. try to call all the recommended service centers & get no answer won't come to my area etc. call the corporate office they finally get someone to service the product, the tech says need a new compressor. i'm disappointed try to climb the ladder of corporate managers for a replacement & told they will only repair. now it's been 2 months the customer service office calls weekly to tell me they still can't contact the technician & asks if they have contacted me. I have written to the CEO w/no response. if you buy Frigidaire/Electrolux product beware, customer service is not part of their culture or practice.
Have called Frigidaire many times and still my frig. acts the same. My Frigidaire appliance, refrigerator makes loud noise, like vibrating, must keep freezer at only one temperature setting otherwise ice cream melts, items don't stay cold as they should. Wish I had never bought this Frigidaire. This is the first time I have EVER had such BAD service. And my frig. isn't even a year old!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have been dealing with Frigidaire for 3 weeks. My frig stopped working Oct. 9. I have had no less than 30 calls to Frigidaire, the Servicer (who has been great), with still no luck. The compressor is bad and Frigidaire's OWN parts department is telling me that all replacement compressors are also bad so they have to manufacture new ones, which will take months. But Frigidaire keeps telling me they will just send one that is close and it should fit!!! The unit is less than a year old, under warranty, yet Frigidaire refuses to replace it. I have no refrigerator and no hope of having it repaired, or replaced. I hate Frigidaire and will never buy their products again. I Does anyone with Frigidaire even look at this site? Do they even care about their consumers?
Why doesn't Frigidaire just go OUT OF BUSINESS! And since they still insist on being in business, why do people buy their products? You would think a reputable firm like P.C. Richards would stop carrying their products knowing how sleazy they are. They should be boycotted! (Frigidaire, not P.C. Richards!)
EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED with Frigidaire too! I bought a brand new, expensive, "Professional" fridge in July 2015. Since day one, we had several problems, which were reported to Frigidaire right away. The kick-toe board at the bottom of the freezer is crooked, there is a water leak between the fridge and the freezer section, it's freezing inside the lower part of the fridge, the door alarm doesn't work, the doors are squeaking badly, and the door handles are rusting! We are mid November 2015, and we still have the same problems. Frigidaire sent 3 "repairmen" in these last 3 ½ months and all told us they don't know how to fix all these issues. However, Frigidaire is still doing nothing and refuses to replace this defective "lemon" piece of junk. I am seriously thinking about hiring an attorney to sue them. They are making poor quality fridges (made in Mexico, which explains part of the problem) and THEY HAVE NO WARRANTY AND DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!I am sorry that I didn't check all these bad reviews before I purchased this fridge for over $3,000! And by the way, I wrote a bad (but accurate) review about my Frigidaire fridge on their website; however, they NEVER published it! They only publish "good" reviews, which are all possibly fabricated.SHAME ON YOU FRIGIDAIRE FOR TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS THE WAY YOU DO IT!!!!!!
Feel your frustration! purchased a Professional fridge in June 2015. Water dispenser dripped 45 min. after dispensing water. Frigidaire didn't know how to fix it so they gave us another new Professional. The delivery people were suppose to level it but did not and just left. When someone did come out they couldn't get it leveled. the French doors wouldn't match up. Well it end up that the whole fridge was out of Square by 5/8 of an inch. My husband had to shim in right rear corner to get it leveled. That was just the beginning of our problems. We have had a repair guy come out 15 different times to try and fix the top ice maker from melting ice and the water dispenser from dripping water, and still no solution. They won't refund you your money they just want to try and fix, fix, fix. They should HANG the CEO of FRIGIDAIRE!! So sick of them and their policies.Their nothing but Cowards and afraid to face the consumer.
I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator at best 2 years ago. At 4am Sunday morning my husband smelled something burning. He woke me up because the smell was getting worse. The smell was not only getting worse but, we could hear crackling and sizzling. The Fire Dept was called, we had to vacate the house. The Fire Dept could not find where the smell was coming until the thermal sensors were brought in. Some part in the back of the refrigerator was the culprit. We called customer service who said the best they could do was 50% off a part that the technician we hired and paid for would need to order. There was no apology. There was no regard for the fact that had my husband awaken, that the Fire Dept would have been recovering 6 dead bodies. There was no regard for the fact we were days after Thanksgiving so food was abundant in the refrigerators. No apology or regard for the fact my kids were traumatized being awaken in the wee hours of the morning, told to get dressed because we have to leave the house immediately. No regard for the anxiety my family wondering what was happening inside the house. Would we be homeless in a matter of minutes? How would we pick up the pieces. We didn't pick up the refrigerator and it broke. We didn't look at the refrigerator with our laser eyes and the part burnt. The fact that there was no empathy or sympathy from Frigidaire's customer service makes me wonder if this is status pro quo and they're so used to malfunctions or defects that this is the resolution for a common issue. We are without a refrigerator and customer service could have cared less that their product could have caused tragic ending. I am thoroughly disappointed.
Never expect Frigidaire to ever do anything to help you. They are the world's WORST COMPANY and produce the world's worst products. I would never buy anything from Frigidaire ever again. I wish I could spread the word of warning to anyone considering a Frigidaire purchase. They should have gone out of business a decade ago.
I have never been so dissatisfied with a product, I purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher 16 MONTHS ago and I am on my 4th service call, 2 major parts have been replaced. Customer service agents are rude and misleading. I would NEVER purchase another Frigidaire appliance. They do not care one bit about customer satisfaction and do not stand by their products, buyers beware, do not purchase a Frigidaire appliance.
My experience with Frigidaire has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased a brand new refrigerator for my condominium which is being rented to a very nice family. From the start there were problems with the refrigerator and Frigidaire has replaced all but about two parts on the unit over the past year. On Wednesday they will replace the last two parts....I am really not kidding!! They have even replaced the doors. In the meantime, my tenants have been suffering through the job of having a brand new refrigerator that is broken more than it works. In January and so far, February...the unit has not worked more than it has worked. Ever tried to raise 3 children without a refrigerator? Ever been the landlord on the other end of that problem?Does Frigidaire care? That would be a BIG NO. All I hear from customer service is that they have a "process" that they must follow which is driven by the well kept secret of the "tech" department. As a successful business person I must ask...is there not someone at Frigidaire who can step outside the "process" and see that Frigidaire is throwing good money after bad by continuing the try to repair the unrepairable??? Not to mention totally alienating me as a consumer.....and my network of 1000's of people. Everybody is losing...Frigidaire is not winning..they could have given me two new refrigerators for the money they've spent "repairing" this one.....and real live people are having to live without refrigeration....so they're losing. Lowes, who sold me the unit is losing....they haven't helped me a bit...the store manager at Battleground Ave. location won't even talk to me...think I'll ever buy anything there again? Absolutely not. I've been patient, hoping every time that the "service technicians" have fixed the problem...only to be disappointed every single time. Why wouldn't Frigidaire do the right thing for everybody and replace the refrigerator so we can all move on. Frigidaire!!!!!! Evidently they simply do not care whether their products work or not, nor to they care about their customers. Great formula for success Frigidaire! Let's see how that formula for success is working for you 10 years from now.
After reading all these COMPLAINTS I dont feel ALONE!!! My mother, years ago, always bought Frigidaire appliances. They lasted for YEARS!!! I purchased a frigidaire refrigerator about 2 yrs ago and have had nothing but problems (particularly ice maker). Last year tech came and installed a new ice maker. Still have problems and now doesnt even make ice!!!!! Im just venting because, by the looks of complaints you all did nothing! Your people, whether its ones putting these appliances together, salesmen, techs, installers, or whomever, you all took a much reputable LONGLASTING product and made them into JUNK! I or my family will NEVER buy a frigidaire product again! You need to sweep all dirt out of the company! Lets not forget that by people purchasi g your products makes ALL your jobs safe. If we dont purchase frigidaire products YOU ALL DONT have a job!!!!!!!
Frigidaire also make the Kenmore Pro gas range I have just purchased from Sears, $2700. The one that was delivered came with all the knobs slightly bent down so they don't look great, and the center long burner is mounted at an angle, again not looking great. I had Sear tech in today to look at it and the two poor manufacturing area I talk of above are exactly that, they can not be adjusted. If I had spent $500 on this product I would expect some cheep build issues but now when I get a product that retails at $2700.I can't find anyone to talk to in their quality control department and the only number I can find get me customer support which cannot help.Oh Well, no more products made by Frigidaire will make it into my house. This is a good site to work out who really makes your product, http://www.appliance411.com/parts/sears.shtml.ThanksJulian
The people that run the extended warranty part of frigidaire are horrible! I've been trying to get a in the wall air conditioner fixed for 3 weeks. Every time I call I get hung up on or get read a blanket statement. I will never ever purchase anything appliance by this company or an extended warranty. What kind of place just hangs up on you when you ask to talk to a supervisor? Horrible horrible horrible. Never again.
And for what it's worth, the guy that hung up on us twice! Was named Henry.
Don't hold your breath waiting for anyone from Frididaire to help you. Just boycott all their products.
I do get helped when I call, however the suggested help never comes to fruition. They say in order to replace the appliance a contracted repair service has to come to your home and call the technical department for a walk through of how to diagnose the problem. So, most repairmen don't want to sit on the phone for 30 minutes plus to wait for them to answer and then go through the repair steps. It makes the job take far too long and then if they do show up, the wont return because.......they only get paid to come to your house ONCE!. So then you have to start all over again. Why should some repairman that does not know you go out of his way when he is trying to make a living by not wasting his own time.
After looking up corporate headquarters number to call re' a problem with my cook top, I am extremely skeptical that I will have resolution to my problem after reading all of the above comments. To this point, I have only dealt with customer service and have been dissatisfied. I am really not looking forward to dealing with corporate, but I will be calling them to see if someone can help me. Thank you for all the comments.
