  1. If their food is as phony and stupid as the program "Castle" they are sponsoring, spare me! That guy Castle must be one of the worst actors I have ever witnessed.

I travel to Europe often, especially Italy, Austria and Belgium.

The pasta and white Italian bread, etc., in the US made me sick with pain and bloating for 3 days, while the pasta and white bread in Italy is just delicious and causes no harm. I wonder what chemicals and false (like the actor in Castle) ingredients the pasta in the US has?

    2. My family & I have eaten at Carrabbas many times & have had excellent food & service but this past weekend was not the Carrabbas that we knew & loved. Our server was not attentive to our table at all. She never brought bread on time. We ordered drinks that took forever to get to us. Then she finally gets back to us takes our order still brings no bread or water. Salads & soups were ordered by my family but not all of our family got them. The soup came with no spoons and some soups didn't come with the rest of our salads & soups. When the soup finally did come our dinners were then served. Our waitress was clearly overwhelmed & was constantly blaming everyone else for things that she should've been responsible for. My uncle then went to talk to the manager of the restaurant the hostess finally sent him over. When he did come over he listened to what we had to say but didn't do anything to try to make this nightmare meal right. He was not very professional at all. I do feel that if he would've at least tried to do something to make up for this poor service I wouldn't have to resort to writing this complaint. It is sad to see that such a great restaurant has lowered its standards with poor servers & managers representing them. We probably won't be thinking of them as a first choice again the next time.

    3. I just had a great experience at a carrabba's at the Springfield Mall in Springfield Pennsylvania. Ive never had a bad meal at any carrabba's ever. This time my girlfriend and i had one of the best waitresses ive 3ver had in any establishment. No i dont know her personally. She is not friend nor family. She was extremely nice and very personable. She made the whole carrabba's experience that much better. Her name is Darelle G. Thats all i know. If you get to that carrabba's, ask for her. She'll make your experience good also.

    4. I have to say my past couple of experiences at the Carrabbas on Harbison in Columbia, SC have been very poor :( use to love coming to eat here at least once a week but recently things have changed for the WORST sadly.... I'm not sure if it has to do with new management or maybe everybody was in a down mood BUT SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE !!!

    5. Carrabbas in Kennesaw, GA has been a fav restaurant for our fam for years. They are changing for the worst! Their portion sizes keep getting smaller and smaller, but prices bigger and bigger. My complaints have fallen on deaf ears. The mgr responded to me like a spouse, not a customer. I just left a second msg w/ corp to see if we can get this resolved. I'd just like the old Carrabbas I know back!

  2. very upset I ate at Carraba's and I ordered a cranberry juice with my meal for my drink of choice. The waitress never came by to refill nor did she offer, when the waitress came back by after our dinner was serve about 20 minutes later. She aske how was everything and she reached over and refilled my friends glass and walked away. The waitress came back about 15 minutes later I then asked for a refill and she then stated that she never asked because it cost for refills. I am an African american. I was offended and felt so degraded. She made me fill as if I couldn't afford to purchase another glass. Poor,Poor service I use to eat there every day but never again.

    1. what was your friend drinking because I bet you she was getting free refills because of that. Cranberry juice isn't a free refill ANYWHERE. Don't make this about race, are you directly from Africa? if you aren't, then you are a black American..

    3. sad but very true it is about race and its a problem in every resturant ive worked in im a white server and its an issue that needs to be delt with on so many side of the table frm tips to why this table sits longer or is treated just under the 100% mark a change i would love to see. by my point of veiw the real difference is how hard the money spent is worked for. or was it at all... i work damn hard i dont want to spend my hard erned money for less than its worth

      from
      hope someone gets it...

    4. No reason to make this about race. Do you have a mouth?? If the server didn't ask you speak up and ask for a refill. I was in a restaurant the other day and they continued to fill up my husbands water but not my flavored tea because it wasn't free refills. But it must have been the color of my skin. Get over yourself!! Stop blaming everything that happens to you on the color of your skin.

      Delete
    5. Seriously, I'm a server myself, and it has nothing to do with race. most people don't want refills if it's not free. And I like what some one had said earlier, do you not have a mouth? I'm sure you could have said something. It's not rocket science. I bet you only tipped her ten percent too.

    6. Did you walk a million miles to get that cranberry juice? Get your head out of your protruding butt & watch your kids! Look up to a person when they are talking to you; instead of playing the race card on your phone with cowling remarks upon hard working people. Shame!

  3. I went to the Carrabba's in Morrow, Georgia two weeks ago and ordered carry out for my family. It was three meals and three deserts. When I arrived home we ate our dinner and then everyone ate their desserts at their leisure. I was watching tv and eating my Derosa. I took the first bite and when I looked down to cut into it for a second bite, out came a long black hair. I was angry, disgusted and immediately called the manager. She apologized and asked for my email address and offered "a free Derosa" for my next visit!!!!! All I could think of was lice, unclean hair and just how unsanitary this was. I went on to mention how poor the customer service was from ONE of the servers on duty for to go orders. She was more concerned with the rude employee and didn't seem to find hair in my food as a major problem, especially since to date I have received NO COUPONS FOR A FREE DESERT, so I decided to post this and then I will contact corporate.

  4. I am a frequent customer at the Carrabbas in Morrow, Georgia. I eat at Carrabbas about twice sometimes three times a week. I always order my food via curbside service. I completed the online survey to receive a free appetizer for all of my receipts. Last week, I placed an order. My order was totally wrong. They did not apologize nor try to correct it. I started not to take it but I did. The food was horrible. It was not my normal dish. I was so disappointed. I decided to return today. I ordered my favorite dish, pasta weesie and calamari. I informed the person taking my order via phone about my code for the free appetizer. I went to pick up my order via curbside (which is rarely available for curbside customers anymore), the young lady informed me I could not use the code for my free appetizer. I had a copy of the receipt. She told me I need the bottom of the receipt. Now the week my order was completely wrong, the same lady accepted a print out of the code from the website. I called the manager. He confirmed he would not accept the code with a copy of the receipt. Where is it written I can not receive the appetizer without the original receipt. I provided a copy because I keep all of my original receipts. My issue is the lack of consistency and the rule changing from week to week. The free appetizer is a Carrabbas promotion. I had no problem previously receiving my appetizer, but today it was a problem. He did not care about the staff getting my order wrong nor that he lost business today. Apparently the rules change from week to week. The manager did not care about my complaint. Needless to say, I did take the order. I work exactly too hard and too many long hours to give my money to a company who does not value my business. What happened to customer service? I am so done eating at the Morrow Carrabbas. The manager does not care about certain customers. Well we will see how long Carrabbas last in the Morrow area. We have seen popular chains fail in the Morrow are due to poor sales. I am definitely writing the corporate office. The restaurant has surely changed over the years. As any business owner and manager knows, without customers the doors close.

    1. Carrabbas has not offered the appetizer promotion since December. It also has at most a 30 day expiration for you to receive your appetizer. The promotion that is now going on is a drawing for one of thirty $50 gift cards, or a $1,000 cash money. In retrospect to the customer service, the servers that give good service actually haven't worked there in many years. Over the past 5 years, due to a "cause and effect" of "bad tippers", the good servers either left and got a job in Atlanta or stopped giving TERRIFIC service and just picked up more tables to make up for the tip they know they won't make on one table. With all being said and the surrounding area already losing businesses (target, goodys, etc.) the southlake store should be moved to McDonough.

  6. I ORDERED A CURB SIDE TO GO ORDER FROM THE CARABBAS LOCATION IN POLAND OHIO ON BOARDMAN POLAND ROAD. I ARRIVED 5 MINUTES EARLY TO PICK UP MY ORDER. I WATCHED AS THE WAITRESS CAME TO BRING OUT ORDERS TO 3 DIFFERENT VECHILES. AFTER 25 MINUTES I TRIED TO GET HER ATTENTION TO ASK HOW MUCH LONGER IT WOULD BE, SHE BASICALLY IGNORED ME. I LEFT AFTER WAITING FOR 30 MINUTES. I THEN GOT A CALL 1 HOUR LATER ASKING ME IF I WILL BE COMING TO PICK UP MY ORDER. I CALLED AND SPOKE TO THE MANAGER WHO STATED "WELL IT WAS A MISCOMMUNICATION, SHE MUST OF HAD THE WRONG CAR; WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?." THE MANAGER WAS BASICALLY USELESS, UNPROFESSIONAL AND POSSESSES A POOR WORK ETHIC. WHICH MAY EXPLAIN WHY THE WAITRESS IS INCOMPETENT AND POORLY TRAINED. NEEDLESS TO SAY CARABBAS WILL NOT BE A RESTAURANT WE WILL CHOOSE IN THE FUTURE.

  7. Now that you folks have reduced the size of your dinner caesar salad over the years to now what is the size of a side salad I am done with your restaurant. How much does lettuce cost wholesale you cheap asses? 12 dollars for a handful of lettuce and not even a half of a chicken breast. After 12 years I will no longer be visiting and of your declining establishments.

  8. Now that you have reduces the size of your dinner Caesar Salad to the size of a side salad we won't be back anymore after 13 years. Damned fools. Your saving 35 cents on lettuce on a 12 dollar entree and losing longtime customers. Typical corporate BS.

  9. I have been dining at Carrabba’s with my family and employees for the past ten years in Houston and in Woodlands. In the past the food and service was also great.

On Saturday, June 1, I invited family and employees to my daughter’s surprise Graduation Dinner at Carrabba’s on 7540 Hwy. 6 N, Houston TX 77095 (Copperfield Location).

We had reservations for 8:30pm. Our party arrived on time and our table was ready for our party near the front of restaurant in the bar area. I went to the restroom and when I came back from the restroom my family and friends were seated in the very back of the restaurant near the back door and renovation. I was furious. There was a hole in the wall. There was plastic on the ceiling. The area where we were sitting should have been closed to the public. I did not complain because I did not want to ruin my daughter’s special day. Around 9:00pm, two waitresses walked over to take our drink order. We later ordered our entrees at 9:15pm. Thirty-five minutes later, the waitresses finally brought the soups and salads to our table. We waited another thirty minutes for the entrees. The wait time for the food was so long. Two of the entrees were sent back because they were undercooked and the other was the wrong. The manager walked over to our table and offered dessert and later brought over a dessert to my daughter.

As we were eating the dessert a HUGE roach crawled across the back of our seat and to the wall of the restaurant. We were sitting along the wall on a bench. I have never seen a roach that big. My five year old niece was horrified and screamed. At that point, I was ready to go and never visit Carrabba’s again. The manager offered us a discount on our meal and two gift cards. There was a table of 12 people and he offered us two gift cards. I thought that was a slap in the face. Our meal should have been complimentary and all of the adults should have received a gift card.

Saturday, June 1, 2013, was my worst experience ever at Carrabba’s Italian Restaurant

My husband and I ordered food from Carrabba's in Palm Harbor, FL. We have always ate there in thre past and sometimes use their carry-out service. The staff there are usually very friendly, but are totaly confused. They could use a little more help. My husband and I were very upset about the portions of food we ordered. They were smaller than usual. We ordered the Pork Chop Marsala with Smashed Garlic Potatoes, Chicken Cutlet Parm/Ziti and Fried Calamari for an App. The Pork Chops were way over seasoned, WAY TOO MUCH SALT; and about 2 tablespoons full of potatoes were in the plate cost $20.00. The cheese that topped the Chicken Parm, was burned, not a good taste and the 15 pieces of ziti, I won't go there right now, (undercooked)$16.20. It's a damn shame when you pay $9.90 for Fried Calamari and recieve about 25 tiny pieces for your money. When I called back and spoke to one of the managers, she pointed out that these are the potions you get when you do jnot eat in the restuarant, I believe she said it best like this ," IF YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND WERE SERVED HERE YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN ENOUGH FOOD, THAN DINNING OUT. " Then she asked if there was anything else she could do for me and ended the phone call. Not a happy customer at all, think I'll take my business to the Olive Garden from now on.

  12. Our Family decided to celebrate our daughters 35th birthday at Carrabba's Italian Grill in Sarasota Florida on Stickney Point Road, August 2nd 2013. There were 9 of us, 7 adults and 2 children. Two waitress's were assigned because the party was 8 or more and we are told this is Company policy. Everyone's dinner arrived timely except the children, which arrived 40 minutes later because one waitress didn't know the other didn't get the children's order eventhough the order for Alfredo Pasta with chicken was given. The Manager apologized and the order was delivered 40 minutes later. Note: The Manager came to the table to ask us how our meal was and was advised we had waited an additional 20 minutes alredy for the childrens chicken alfredo, he opined he would get right on it and that he was sorry for the missed order. The adults, as you can imagine, waited for the chidren to be served, the chicken alfredo arrived a total of 40 minutes after the adults had been served. All of our meals were cold and it took all of the fun out of our evening. The Manager comp'd the chicken alfredo and caesar salad but it left us all with a feeling that we will probably not celebrate another event with the Carrabbas Family. Sad for this family in Sarasota Florida.

  13. Just writing to give some feedback in my experience with carrabbas. On Sunday the 3rd of august I went to carrabbas on Oviedo after church with a party of 12 people. I have always like Carrabas a lot but never been on this one specifically. Our experience was not great at all like it always been. The forgot to bring the bread in the beginning and after I ask for it then one of the server bring the bread. The bread was really cold. Again complain to the server and bring some fresh hot bread. Then the food came and to my surprise the food was also cold. The server were nice, but the food was bad to my surprise. I have eat on the Carrabbas in Altamonte Spring and never had any complains especially with the food. I will never never go to the Carrabbas at tuscawilla and Red bug lake in Oviedo. The need some kind of wake up in the kitchen. The only thing we enjoy was our desert! Thanks

  14. We first visited this new Sanford, FL store on July 31st. The first thing we noticed was a new menu which lacked my favorite Carrabba's meal, the Linguine Pescatore. When I asked the waitress why, she told me that it was available on their secret menu. There seemed to be no problem and I was served the Pescatore as ordered with extra scallops in lieu of mussels and it was excellent and tasted just as the item tastes at any other Carrabba's store.
We went to this store again on August 8th. When I asked the waitress (Alicia) for the Linguine Pescatore, she said she didn't know if she could do that because the staff wasn't trained on that but she would ask. Shortly after that, an Asst. Manager came to the table and said they weren't set up to serve that meal but that she would do it this one time but after that she would not be able to serve it. She said that the new stores will have this new menu and that the old menu would be phased out at all of the old stores in the future. In the future, I will not patronize this store for this reason. I prefer the old menu which is the menu at every other store from Daytona Beach to Orlando, FL. I must say that, again the meal was excellent as was the server, Alicia. It's a shame we have to drive twice as far in the future to eat at the Daytona store.

  19. Tonight, November 3 2013, My husband and 3 of our children decided to go to Carraba's in Asheville N.C next to the Air port, We have been once before and was pleased (that was about 3 years ago). Tonight as we went in we were told it would be about 30 to 40 minutes before we could get a table. We sat on the benches among several other people prepared to have a long wait. To our surprise less then 5 minutes later our little buzzer thing was vibrating. We were lead to a table sitting against the exit door in the back right next to the bar! It was extremely out of place and very small for a family of 5! since they were so busy we let it go and made it work. We ordered an appetizer and it was delicious!! Then we placed our order. My husband ordered the lobster ravioli $17.95 I had the scallop and shrimp linguini $15.00, the children had childs order of chicken and mashed potatoes $5.50. Our order came out. They placed out meals in front of us. I Almost laughed when I saw my husbands lobster ravioli!! I asked is that all of his meal? The waitress made a "I am sorry face" and replied, "yes, we have had to cut back on portions. I then asked "are you sure it is $17.95? she said "yes" Are you serious? I asked and she nodded her head.. I looked back at his plate were the nine pieces of 1.5"x1.5" raviolis lay on his tiny little plate and then I asked "He is paying $17.95 for this nine of these .... things... She said yes. she finished handing out the plates. My shrimp and scallops were very tasty but why are there only 3 pieces of shrimp and two scallops? Of course they had to "cut back on portions" A few minutes later the manager came out and asked if every thing was ok. I told him no, I didn't not understand what we were paying for. "Is this really all he gets for this $17.95 meal? He replied "yes it is, I can bring him a couple more out, but you do need to know that next time this is what you will get" Astonished I asked again "are you sure this is right?" He said yes... I said well.. ok.. about twenty minutes later FOUR more lobster raviolis were brought to my husband! The waitress came back, I asked her if I had got her into trouble. she said no. I apologized for making a big deal out of it but that I also worked in a high end restaurant and serve lobster full, halves, raviolis, etc.. several times a day, I know what the prices of Lobsters are at market price in this area and that was a rip off! She never talked bad but you could tell that she understood! I could not believe we just spent $63.84 on this pitiful dinner! Our waitress was wonderful! But.. We will NEVER EVER spend our money on such a weak, rude place like this again!! We are so disappointed!!!! Waist of money, time, taste buds, and patience!!!!!! I would rather eat at the stincking huddle house!!!!!!

  20. I am writing this to ask for help with a situation with my wife and her employer, Carrabba's. She got hired a week ago saturday. She went through necessary training with a "trainer" and took her menu and wine test. She confided in a girl who was having a bad day that told her both of her parents had recently passed. My wife and I just suffered a tragic loss, our 3 month old baby girl passed away from SIDS 3 months ago. This is my wifes first attempt to return to work. She is working with a group of girls that are almost half her age. There is about 5 of them that are basically bullying an adult and they are the majority so the managment doesn't want to get involved because it's a lot easier to replace one girl than 5. They have called her a "baby killer" to her face; they make comments about "dead babies" around her frequently! They put up a $100 bounty to see who COULD be the first to make her cry and walk out. This is completely outrageous that the managment WILL NOT stick up for what is right here!!! The emotional damage that HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE is uncomprehensable!! Today is only her 8th day of work, second being alone on the floor. They told her that it takes $1500 to train a new employee; she spent almost $200 on uniform and spent about 40 unpaid hours studying for their menu test. Minimum wage rates would bring that to about $300; with a total investment in one employee at roughly $2000 it is sad to see there is nowhere to turn for help. The managment cut her four tables that she is to get in haIf two two because she is having problems remembering where the tables are because she cannot think straight with all of the verbal abuse. I would appreciate any feedback or help that someone can offer. Today we looked in the handbook together and there is a clause stating "harrassment is against company policy and will not be tolerated! This is exactly what is going on and to complete dismay, managment is not doing anything to rectify the situation because that would just add more stress for them! I recently read an article online about two teenage girls being charged with another girls death that commited suicide from them bullying her online and were subsequently charged as adults, this is the kind of harrassment that people commit suicide over and I am worried for my wifes emotional health right now! Please help us! If someone reads this that has the ability to just put us in touch with someone that actually CARES, I would be more than greatful!

    1. Those lowlife scum bullies should be reprimanded and fired for harrassment. SIDs (sudden infant death syndrome) happens suddenly and without warning, often from sleeping on their chests. I raised 4 children (all grown now) and I never ever thought about SIDS, but I always placed them either on their backs or sides as infants with a rolled up blanket behind them. I knew a young lady who's 7 month old baby died from SIDs. It was horrible for the family. If Carrabas continues to allow this type of harrassment to continue they could be sued by the man and woman for pain and suffering. Bullies need to be punished asap anytime it happens.

I orderd grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. Carrots were hard as rocks and cold for being "roasted" i dont think so. My boyfriend ordered a steak med well. came out Raw the cook pretty much just browned the outsid. we are very teasonanable and patient people we waited for our waitress. Manager came up to us first asked how everything was we explain what we werent pleased with he said "oh okay can i throw that sirloin back on the grill for you" DIDNT apologize didnt ask if we wanted anything else my boyfriend lost his appetite. and so he said No. the manager kept saying are you sure are you sure?? kept prying instead of usually asking to get a new one or anything else or taking it off the bill. I ate half my plate. my boyfriend took 2 bites of steak and we got charged for our whole meal with no help whatsoever with the manager taller thicker guy. very uncomfortable frusterating expensive first time experience, i work at wingers. definatly not as nice fancy as carrabas. i definatly take care of my customers better and do what i can so they enjoy there night. You lost our service.

  22. I tried to go have lunch at the Mt. Zion location after I got out of church yesterday. I noticed that the restaurant was pretty empty with maybe 5 or 6 tables being occupied. When I walked in, there were no hosts there to greet me. After a few minutes of standing there, a waiter saw that no one had assisted me and greeted me himself. I told him that I had a party of 7. He said he will let the host know and will seat me in a few minutes. A few minutes later, two hosts came to the front. Never acknowledging me, they greeted and sat several small parties. After about ten minutes, I asked if the waiter told them about my party of 7. One of the host replied, yes they know about my party of7, but they won't seat me until majority of my party is here. Mind you 3 is there with me already. No big deal since that's what most restaurant's policy is. As I'm waiting patiently, several more parties are seated. Then a white lady that likes well groomed maybe I'm her 60's came in by herself said she has a party of 6, one less than my party. She informed the host that she's the only one there. The rest of her party should be arriving shortly. The host then checked on her table then seated her immediately. I was shocked at how fast they seated her. I was so upset I asked the host why are they seating this lady that just came in over me that have been waiting the longest! Not only that, I asked why is it that I had to wait until most of my party is here before seating me but the lady that just walked in had a party of 6, which she was the only one there, but got seated immediately. I asked why with no response. They couldn't even answer my question. I then asked for the manager. I told the manager the entire situation and he replied by saying in such an insincere way, sorry are you ready to be seated now? Really are you serious?!?! I told him no thanks, that he sucked as the manager and left. I want to let you know that I'm asian and have never felt so discriminated by the color of my skin! I will no longer enter this Carrabbas restaurant and I have shared this all over my social media via Facebook! I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!

  23. We the staff at the State Attorneys Office, will like to give Carrabbas Italian Grill in Daytona Beach Florida, a hand of applause for having Mr. Charles Paxcel back as an employee. We are regular customer at your establishment.
We the staff at the State Attorney’s Office has noticed for a “Fact” since Mr. Charles Paxcel have been missing from your restaurant, that the appearance of the food has been sloppy, taste of food over cooked and even under cooked by myself and other employees, the chiefs usually hold brief conversation with you while you sit at the bar, these are the Fact that we have noticed and can be held self-evidence.
Facts! Sitting at the bar like we always due, we noticed that every plate that left the kitchen cook line Mr. Paxcel investigate the food on the plate, he made sure that it is neat, by wiping off the plate, (that I witness was not done by any other employee) Mr. Paxcel not only acknowledges us, but other customers at the bar! I held a conversation with other guest that was sitting at the bar the same examples that I am giving you. This is what make people come back and continue to come to you restaurant Customer Service by all workers, appearance, taste and cleanness,

  24. Watch out for the gift card scam. My wife and I went into eat at our Carrabas in Gainesville, Florida and we decided to order a $100 gift card to pay for our dinner (knowing that we would receive a $20 bonus card to be used at a later date. We ordered and paid cash for the card had a wonderful meal with two of our friends. When the bill was brought I put in the gift card to pay for it. A few minutes later a manager came with our card and said it could'nt be used that evening. I mentioned that we were frequent diners at Carrabas and that we had done this in the past with no problems. Needless to say I had to charge dinner on my credit card. We were told by the manager that earlier that evening a physician had purchased $500 in cards and also wasn't allowed to use any of them that night. So here's my take on this. You purchase gift cards whci you are'nt allowed to use that night so they can get you to pay for an additional meal that evening. In other words, instead of paying $100 for a card and using that, I ended up paying the $100 plus the $81 for our meal that night. Nice way to embezile extra money from your guests. I should ad that no one stated that we could'ne use the gift card that night when we purchased it. Boyd Rasmussen 12/7/2013

    1. Why would you buy a gift card just a means of payment? Just to get your $20 bonus? Why can't you all stop trying to work the system. Just pay for your meal and be done with it!

  25. Today, Saturday December 28, 2013.

Went to Carrabba's in Boynton Beach Fl. My first experience at a Carrabba's. It was 3PM so I asked the hostess (Who was super grumpy) if there was a lunch special. She grumbled no and told us to follow her to a table. When we sat down we were handed dinner menus. I asked the waitress that came by for lunch menus and she said "There's only dinner on Saturday." Then a different waitress came up and said she was our waitress. We ordered our food, then we were told that if you sat at the bar there was a happy hour. I said "Oh, thats what we came here for, the other ladies told us there was no such thing." Then our waitress said the other ladies were really dumb. So I said oh I want to cancel our orders and sit at the bar, and our waitress says "No, I'll just bring you extra bread." and she walked away. At this point I was ready to walk out, but I was on a date so I stayed put. Then we were brought out our food. My date ordered a nasty Caprese Panini that was almost 80% nasty cold bread. I ordered a Harvest Salad. My salad had 1) No chicken 2) No beets 3) hardly any salad 4) All fatty bacon and 5) It tasted like there was particles of dirt in it. I was super upset at our meal. It took us almost an hour to get our food too, so before our meals came out i asked for the check to make sure they knew I was disappointed, but nobody seemed to notice or care. I was charged the price of the salad with chicken which I felt was unreasonable. Then the waitress told me how to put a tip on the bill, which I felt was very degrading... I felt like I shouldn't have even left a tip at this point I was so angry. If someone from headquarters can refund me my bill, that would be very nice. I promise to never go back to a Carrabba's again. I never go out to eat and this is precisely the type of situation I try to avoid.

  26. To whom it may concern,
I found out about Carrabba's 10 Yrs. ago through a close Sicilian friend, named Frank. My wife and I eat their at least twice a month now. I usually get various pasta dishes, or the “Chicken Trio”, and my wife likes your sea food and pasta dishes.
We went to Carrabba's on Southern Blvd. in Royal Palm Beach last night, Jan. 11th, and ordered take out, our waitress was Lisa, who was very pleasant and professional, and because of that experience, I tipped her $10.00. My wife ordered "Spiedfino Di Mare, Alfredo" with a salad, at $18.50 + $1.50 Take out charge = $20.00, and I ordered a (medium rare) "Filet Florentino Marsala" with Minestrone soup, at $26.50 + $1.50 take out charge = $28.00. We also ordered (2) “Tiramisu” deserts at $7.50 Ea.
When we arrived home and examined the food, my wife's meal had -7- scallops, and -1- shrimp. My plastic soup container was filled 1/2 way, (-6- ounces of soup after measuring). The little plastic container with parmesan cheese contained -1- teaspoon of shaker cheese. The steak I ordered appeared to have been O.K. until later when I cut into the center of it, and found it to be filled with FAT, and cooked RARE, but by then I had already called Casey the manager (owner) of the restaurant, and complained prior to discovering this. The two deserts where "Chocolate Dreams" instead of "Tiramisu'.
I am not usually a complainer, unless of course when my wife is not happy, then I'm not happy, if you know what I mean!! This take out meal experience at Carrabba's was a disaster, and a great loss of hard earned money $76.78 (includes tip) to be exact. I am writing to you for a request of credit for the monies rendered for a food experience at Carrabba's Restaurant that was a total [email protected]#%, as we use to say in the Marines, or now as a civilian, a food experience catastrophe.
So now the question is, will I ever eat at Carrabba's again, I would like too, but first I would like to see how the Carrabba family, and the Carrabba’s Restaurant Franchise handles compensation to a customer who has paid monies out in exchange for Carrabba's food products, that were NOT what the customer ordered, wanted, expected, and/ or should have received.

    1. I posted this complaint last week on Sunday, after having a bad take out experience as described in my feedback.

The very next day (Monday) I received a phone call from the Manager/Owner, (Casey) in less than 24 hours after posting this complaint. He was incredibly apologetic for what happened, and was extremely generous about how he wanted to change things around for the better. I told him it just wasn't the food issue, but the hard earned money wasted on a horrible eating experience. He fully understood my frustration, and immediately offered to make the next experience memorable in a good way. I told him that my inside dining experiences have always been pleasurable, and one bad experience won't drive me away, but he still insisted on taking care of my wife and me the next time we ate their, so he sent me all of my money spent their that Saturday last week in a coupon. I can't say enough about, 1) How we are allowed to post our anger on this site, 2) How quickly we received a response to our posted complaint, 3) How nice and generous the Manager/Owner Casey was, 4) How generous the Manager/Owner was, and 5) How quickly he sent over the refund in a food coupon.

I told him that I would submit a thank you reply back onto this site, in regards to what I wrote above, and Casey if your reading this, please except my apology for getting this reply posted so late, I have been juggling a lot of stuff on my plate, this week and last week, but I kept my word as gentleman, just as you did my friend.

Bottom Line: Carrabba cares as much about their food, as they care about their customers. But what makes that happen, is a good Manager and/or Owner, I was fortunate enough to have Casey to deal with, and fortunate is just the tip of the iceberg when working with Casey, because he answers the phone, he listens, and he responds to correct the situation. My wife and I are still happy Carrabba customers, and want to just say, thanks for turning a frown upside down!!!!!

    2. Casey Martini is The Best!!! Totally professional at all times, and he genuinely cares about the satisfaction of his customers! ...Vero Beach Carrabba's on the other hand; is a totally different story! Love Carrabba's food in general, but you can't compare the management... Vero is poor at best.

  27. Today, we went to Carrabba's for lunch. It was a nightmare!!!! I was given the wrong entrée, twice. Even though I asked it to be on the side, the salad came swimming with dressing. The food was cold. Everything had pepper in it...carrots, fish, potatoes, and even the salad. In fact, the roasted carrots were buried in coarse pepper to the point the vegetable looked like it had been blackened. I know this restaurant can do better than this. I talked to the manager and told him that not everyone likes their food to be buried under pepper. His flippant "sorry about that" didn't sit well with me. It will be a long time, if ever, before we return.

  28. On Feb 12 2014 at 4:20 pm my wife and I stopped at Carrabbas at 27220 Bay Landing Dr Bonita Springs Florida. The Carrabas at this location opens at 4:00pm. I entered the Carrabbas and was advised by the employee it would be a 15 to 20 minute wait. I ask why the booths were full but all the tables were empty the employee advised that there were not enough servers to service the tables and I can sit at the bar. I said I will wait and the employee put me in the computers wate list and gave me a pager. I observed seven servers come in the front door between 4:30pm and 5:00pm and I hoped the pager would go off and my wife and I could eat but it never went off. I walked over to the employee at 5:20pm and ask when we could be seated she advised she had no tables or booths but we were number four on the list I ask to be taken off the wait list and gave the employee the page. My wife and I drove home. When the incompetent and liar management team at this Carrabbas is replaced with a new management I will try this Carrabbas one more time

  29. My wife and I went to Carrabba's on Thursday night March 6, 2014. Our server was Ashley W and the ticket number was0338. We have been a Carrabba's customer here in Ft Myers since the 1st year that you opened this store. That was when the Carrabba family still owned 45%, Outback Corp owned 45% and the managers owned 10%. We always loved our experience at Carrabba's and many times would eat back at the counter where you could watch the cooks preparing the meals. Tonight we had an unbelievable bad meal experience at Carrabba's. I am not sure if we will ever go back to this establishment. We came into the restaurant around 7:30 and decided to eat in the new booths in the bar area. Our waitress came over and ask us what we wanted to drink and we placed our drink order. It took quite some time for our drink order to arrive. As we were sitting having our drinks and watching TV the bartenders and waiters started taking all of the bottles off of the shelves behind the bar and passing them over the bar and placing them on the empty tables beside of us. They were putting many of the bottles on the bar itself and bringing out large sheets of plastic and covering all of these bottles. This was going on while we were trying to enjoy our meal. It was quite disturbing and distracting from our enjoying our meal. We finally ask our waitress when she finally came back to check on us, what in the world was going on with the bar area. She said that they were emptying the bar shelves so that they could spray for insects and roaches. This was told to us while we were trying to enjoy our meal. I ordered a second draft beer and the bartender set in on the bar for our waitress to bring to me. After several minutes of watching the draft sit there I finally went to the bar and picked up the draft before it became warm. I ordered a house Italian salad and it had very little dressing on it and only had 1 Italian olive in it. The minestrone soup was very good. I can't believe that they would start such a distracting and unappealing bar cleaning while customers we still in the bar area trying to enjoy a nice evening. My wife went to the front desk and ask for a manager and complained about our experience and the manager never said a word of explanation or apology. We live at The Landings Golf Tennis and Yacht Club and have constantly taken our friends and family to the Ft Myers Carrabba's. Not sure if we will be able to bring ourselves to go back to this location. This is sent to you from a very loyal but disappointed customer. James Drury 4140 Steamboat Bend East Unit 504, Ft Myers Fl. 33919. My email is [email protected] I don't expect anything from your company I just think you should be aware of our experience The waitress told us they do this once a month. I think it should be done after the store is closed.

  30. I have never been so disgusted in the poor management at the Columbiana/ Columbia, SC location. The managing partner there has horrible customer service skills. I am writing corporate and letting everyone know. My three times a week has gone to zero! Way to lose a great customer!

  31. Mr. Tom Boettger , Managing partner for the Columbiana location in Columbia, SC has the poorest management skills I have ever encountered. It's not wise to curse your customers behind their back when they can hear you. You have turned a twice a week customer into a NEVER AGAIN customer. Way to go, Tom!
