I have been buying sandwiches since 1971. I live in Utah now and have had sandwiches flown in from California a few time the last 25 years. I am so disappointed that Corporate America can't figure out how to keep their long term customer base by allowing then local stores to furnish fresh bread instead of bringing it in frozen. All In can say is get a clue. Just saying they are made fresh doesn't mean customers don't realize the flattened out second rate bread. I feel het I am somewhat of an expert on this subject as I used to by the hot #7 at least 6 times a week, for lunches dinner and occasionally leftovers for breakfast. Between the terrible bread and somewhat the price of $9.95 I give up on you (sorry to say) This isn't California. I can get a steak sandwich, fries, salad for the same price. I would rather have Togo's. So for now wake up and I will be back.

  2. I have a complaint that needs to be addressed. I visit Togo's at 2620 Gateway Oaks Drive, #110 in Sacramento, CA. 95833. The manager in that store needs to be replaced, she is a very rude, horrible person. She talks to the employees like they are dirt right in front of customers. I have felt like reaching across the counter, grabbing her, shaking her until she can't see straight. I would like to know who trained her to become a manager. I have worked as a Manager and also as a Customer Service Rep and if I was to talk to one of my employees or customers the way that she does, I would have been fired. There are times when I have gone into the store and she looks like she is half loaded, and a smelled alcohol. I am friends with some of the employees and several of the former employees and she has been doing all kinds of things that are against Togo's regulations like instead of using products from Togo's she will go down the street to the grocery store and buy the spring mix and if she runs out of Baskin Robbins ice cream she will replace it with Raley's ice cream, which is cheating the customer. I have also spoke with a homeless lady that comes into the store, that the ladies family buys her gift cards for Togo's and I have heard this manager Tell her to get out of the store and she will turn around and tell the employees that if any of them service this lady they will be fired. This is not to way to run a store. The managers name is Debra Cole. I will not return to that store which is right down the street from me. She needs to be replaced. She knows nothing about managing and I have noticed that there are fewer customers coming in, the store is lossing ;business because of Debra.

    1. I agree 100%. I came on this website to find a way to contact corporate to tell them how horrible she is. She does smell like weed and alcohol and screams at the employees and cusses at them using the "f-word" in front of customers, and threatening to fire them as they are making my sandwich. She is a disgrace of a human being. My favorite sandwich maker that is super nice to customers and makes the best sandwiches and takes precautions to be very clean seems to take the brunt of her harassing. I have even seen that employee out of the store and asked about it. She seemed afraid to speak about the incident for fear of being fired. It makes me so angry to have a manager sully the name of a great sandwich shop. Please send someone to interview the employees there and you will see that she NEEDS to be fired. I will never step foot in that place again, until she is gone.

  3. I went to the Togo's on Stevenson Blvd in Newark CA and was so disappointed I had to try to contact corporate. I don't even know if this will get read or if they even care. I ordered 2 asian chicken salads. The person that took the order didn't know how to make them! It's a salad!! You're not splitting the atom! He did ask for help but was ignored by the crew. After 10 minutes and no salads someone came and gave him a hand. Got home to find 2 completely different salads and 1 had 5 - no kidding - of chicken! Took them back to the store ans asked for a manager only to be told there was NO ONE IN CHARGE! How can you run a store with no one in charge?!? A vendor needed a signature and none of the crew would sign anything because they were not in charge! How unprofessional on the part of Togos. What if there is an emergency, the crew gets hurt, customer complaints or something as simple as a delivery?!? I finally got my salads but not even offered any type of compensation for my troubles! Panera here I come!!!

  5. We are a business located next to the TOGO's in Oxnard. The owner has lost his proprietary license. The place has since been overrun, with the help of disgruntled ex-employees, by homeless, drug use and people sleeping in there overnight. The owner who is too cheap to change the lock(s) on the doors simply put a "padlock" on the front door. Problem is the back door has the same key as the front but the door set up is not accepting of a chain and padlock, so this door remains a point of entry thanks to the employees that feel compelled to unlock and leave open for whomever wishes to enter to do whatever they want. Shame on you TOGO's Corporate for not giving patrons and EX-patrons a viable option to contact you with complaints and concerns. Option "8" on the phone menu gets you a fast busy signal. I can only imagine that Corporate is BUSY trying to put out all the fires that seem to be blazing out of control at a majority of their locations, that is IF they even bother to take the time to read these comments. Which is doubtful. SHAME ON YOU!!!!

  6. Worst sandwich I've ever had here. I would rather go to subway and it was to expensive to eat here. Long Beach California

  7. Just ordered a sandwich in Tracy, CA. I noticed they keep the knife they cut sandwiches in between two condiment bins when they are not using it. I don't know if this is the norm in all the TOGO'S restaurants but it made me ill to think of what bacteria is growing between those bins and how absolutely unsanitary it is. It is better left on the counter than having a practice like that. Will be checking the next time we go and if that's the norm we will not be eating at TOGO's again and will definitely spread the word.

  8. Just the Facts: Fri, Jul 29, 2016 I placed an online order #469325 to pick up @ the store in Colorado Springs, Co. I gave the sandwich to my wife & she advised me there isn't any meat in it. So, I got back to the store approx. 1950 with the music playing very loud. Well, I have sensitive ears account for years working on the railroad, the engine's noise & blowing of the train whistle diminished my hearing. I told sandwich maker Tucker Burnum there wasn't any meat in the sandwich. He replied closing in ten minutes.. I asked him to credit my cc. He advised me they would need to look @ the film. That was discomforting, so I asked him to open the sandwich to view & he did. Reason for Tucker to look @ the sandwich, for him to see there was no remnants of meat lift on the vegetables, mayo, & the bread. He gave me Sam's ph#, contact him 1030-1900 Mon-Thu for my moneys $9.12 included $1.00 tip. to be credited to my credit card. I am retired railroad & s.s. Please advise what I'm to do next.
