    4. I am a Speedway employee, I agree we do not get paid enough for what is required of us. I do have a higher education but finding a position in my field is difficult in this area. I am raising two children on my own due to unfortunate circumstances. So some of us have to take what is readily available. This is to the ignorant person who judged the people that work for Speedway, Have you ever had to struggle? We're not all just uneducated low life's here to service you, we're people too. We have families and are doing the best we can with what we are given.

  5. The Park Ave. Speedway in Ironton, Ohio is one of the worst places to go. Their manager is rude and their co manager isn't much better. They will not let their older employees go to school, meaning they refuses to work with school schedules. They tell them they have 3 choices either quit school, go part time, or work 12 hrs weekends. Can you image a single mother or father doing that??? I think Tony Kenney is one of the worst human beings around for this!! He must not want people to better themselves!! Shame on you!!

  7. I put in an application about a month ago at one of the stores in Marietta Ohio and still have not herd anything back from them. When I called to see who I was suppose to contact to check on it, the gentle men on the other end of the phone acted as if it was a bother

I worked for speedway for 3 weeks and in that time I noticed that they had family members working for them and also a customer would come in on a nightly basis and work for lottery tickets when I brought it to the DM attention... I felt like I was back doored. The next day one of the employees scratched my car up...I couldn't believe how they treat there employees. I have contacted a lawyer.the store is in new Palestine Indiana....don't go there

Wow first of all you must be extremely bored to sit on a computer that long to disrespect like you are. THEY HAVE A JOB!!   9. Amy, the manager at the Speedway (#8608) in Dry Ridge, Ky, is the rudest manager I have ever encountered. I am a local customer and it is never a pleasant visit when she is there. At 10:30 this morning (Saturday, very busy), there was one cashier, and I counted at least 12 customers in line. Amy was in the cooler instead of running a register. The cashier had to send the "coffee" lady back 2 times to ask for change.

    Amy finally came up front and was so mad that she yelled out loud, "People need to start paying you with bills smaller than a 20. Start giving them back change in dollar bills and maybe that WILL TEACH THEM A LESSON!!" She opened her register and was not friendly to any of us. One customer yelled back that we are the customers who help pay her salary, but she didn't care.

    I have never heard her say anything positive. All she does is complain about customers, employees, and the corporation. Sounds like someone needs to go bye-bye!!

  10. I work for sppedway for 7 yrs now I love my job yeah we dont get paid much but I love my customers its like my extended family. I just wish we had more hours to work more then 2 people at a time its so hard to make all the customers happy and go the extra mile when you have a line a mile long and no help in sight. we get no breaks unless you smoke. i work hard everyday yes i am full time so i get 35 hours a week. never know when i am working because the schedual dont go up till tues or wen. the corp office need to give the stores more hours so we can clean and help customers, stock and that list of stuff that needs to be done daily. maybe if corp would do that list at a store for a week maybe it would be shorter with more hours. now we have food and pizza there should be 2 food specialist working till 7 pm like you said there would be. instead of working with food and that dirty money.

  11. My grandson recently started at a local Speedway in Kettering, Ohio. He was hired on as "part-time/on call". He has worked there now for one month and has always been on the job when scheduled and comes in when they call him. However, he was not on the schedule this past week and went to get his paycheck yesterday (Friday). The manager told him he was supposed to work that previous day (Thursday) and did not show up so, therefore, the manager, Jamie, fired him on the spot in front of the other employees and customers. He never gave my grandson a chance to speak. He came back to the car hurt and almost in tears and told me what happened. I think the manager named Jamie should be fired for treating his employees like shit. Maybe my grandson is better off NOT working for a horrible company like Speedway.

  12. On Friday May 10, 2013 I walked into the Speedway located 29201 Euclid Ave, Wickliffe, OH. I was there around 5:30 when I came into the store after pumping gas @the pump, to purchase some scratch off tickets. Upon approaching the cash register I seen the clerk talking to a white male customer where he was gracefully engaging in a conversation. Once the customer left the register, I approached the clerk speaking to him saying, “Hi how are you?” The clerk never spoke back. I said okay whatever, “do you have any lottery tickets?” The clerks states, “yeah down there.” I began to look around the store and replied, “down there where!” The male clerk began to walk down there to the other end of the counter where he stands without even saying anything. I asked again “where are your tickets?” He says “right here.” I looked down to see that was pointing down on the counter where they had the tickets stored like under the cabinet but visible through top of counter. I say to the clerk, “okay I want to cash this $1 ticket for the same ticket”, I then hand him $5 dollars and say “can I five more Cash Explosion.” He says “so that makes what 6.” I then replied back “you do the math”, as I stand there literally in shock as he walked away because the clerk had sat my money there on the counter and walked away. Upon him coming back to the main register he scanned the ticket that I had already had. The clerk asked me “did you get your money?” I said “yeah I got my money.” The clerk takes my tickets and throws them across the counter to me. I said “did you just throw my tickets to me?” He laughed. I said “do you have a problem with me because you have been showing me nothing but attitude since I came walking in the door.” The man said I “didn’t throw them I sat them on the counter.” I replied back “no you didn’t because they would be tossed and not put into my hand.” He smiled and did a little sarcasm type of laugh. As I walked out the door I let him know that he was a “racist a**hole” and “my money is just as good as the next person to walk in.” I was extremely offended to I had to call my boyfriend who works straight up the street from them. I said “have to ever had or felt a racist vibe in that Speedway up from your job?” He says that he doesn’t go there because “they are very racist.” He asked what had happened and I told him. He says who it an older “Caucasian women” was, I said, “no” it was a “younger middle aged male.” He let me know to NEVER go back into that Gas station. So after that incident happened I went back to Glam Hair Salon that is across the street from Speedway. I asked the ladies in there including the salon owner has she or anyone in here “experienced any type of racist ways or felt that they had been discriminated against at that Speedway?” The salon owner asked “what happened.” I said, “have you”, she said she “felt it before it depends on who is in there.” That she doesn’t like to go there because they are “suspect.” I am a 31 year old Black Woman who has dealt with race since being a child, worked with people who were racist and I refuse to go and get some gas or Lottery tickets and have to deal with it. I love all people, thou people don’t have to love back they will respect me as a women and a woman of GOD. I was wondering where I should go from here because I honestly want and plan on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and taking this a step farther. So I guess my step farther would be me contacting Corporate Office. I hope that this will not be taking lightly. Being racist or showing racist tendency should not be tolerated at any place of business.

  13. I avoid the speedway at 2619 sunset blvd in steubenville OH because every experience is bad. I live a few blocks away so it's convenient. The clerks are rude and have no customer service experience. I went there today 6//11/13 to buy my wife gatorade before she went to work. The clerk coughed in his hand then grabbed to beverages with the same hand and scanned them. The manager was standing right next to him and never even looked up to speak also never corrected the clerk for touching edibles with germy hands. I used to sales cars in the area and I know hundreds of people in the area. If speedway does not deal with it's employees, I promise to contact every person I've ever sold cars to or come in contact with to boycott all speedways accross the country. These are the days of social media, I can reach out to 1200 people without leaving my couch. Wake up speedway or be prepared for a national boycott!

Being rude or not nice or not helpful, i go to my local speedway almost every day, and what i see alot of is customers that think the world owes them everything!! People that think they are the only ones in the store!! People with attitudes so bad that you just want to kick them in there ass!! I dont blame some of these speedway workers for there attitudes somtimes. The workers are human , not robots! Im sorry but the customer is not always right!! Yes there are some bad workers, but not all of them. So next time someone might not be up to the standards you think you deserve, take a minute and think about what they have to put up with every day.

I have been in customer service my entire life and people abuse the hell out of the customer is always right. its a gas station not a concierge desk and someone working hard for low pay with all tje stresses in their life that the people complaining have are put down for not making them feel special?!   18. We have been customers at the Speedway in Bremen, IN for the last 10 yrs. plus and have been happy with the service and employees up until the new manager took over. This station has lost two (2) of the best employees and another has given her 2 week notice. The new employees are not being trained correctly, i.e. Saturday neither of the 2 employees on duty could work the Lotto machine. I guess its time to move on to Marathon.

  19. On 8/21/2013 I stopped in 4900 Outer Loop, Louisville, Ky 40219. Store #9783. I had never been treated with so much disrespect in my life by one of your employees. At 4:15 I got in line purchased 2 kid juice drinks, cookies, Lays Chips and gas. I was in a hurry to pick my kids up from daycare so I stopped in like I do every other day. As I laid my items on the counter I was looking at the peanutbutter crackers. the clerk said hello. I was still looking but faintly said hello because I talk softly. She then stuck her head down in my face and said HELLOOO, USUALLY WHEN SOMEONE SAYS HELLO THEY SAY HELLO BACK!. I was shocked and said hello back. I'm mad but kept calm. Told her i need 10.00 on 2. She asked if I have a rewards card. I said yes but i'm not going to use it, I don't have time. She then said YOU THINK THAT HURTS MY FEELINGS?! I'm pissed. She gave me my receipt so I'm mad and just slid it off the counter and left without saying a word. I went to get my gas and it won't come on. I went back in and she gave me another receipt without the gas. She canceled my gas out. I used my debit card and it was taken out on the transaction. Now that screws up my whole bank account as I now have to wait before it's released back into our bank. I wanted to jerk her ass over the counter for this so I left. I have never been so disrespected in my life at any gas station. She is a black woman and the only one working there yesterday. I have made a complaint to the BBB and every company I can because something needs to happen. I am a customer of that store for a long time now. I will never ever go to another Speedway again and my whole family will never either. My family and friends was shocked as they went there also but never again when she is working.

  21. I stop at Speedway 2 or 3 times a day. I can't believe the way the manager talks to the people that work there. Steve is the managers name. Speedway needs to do something about him. I have been in business for myself for over 30 years and I would never dream of talking to someone that works for me in that manner. People are always quiting because of him. Recently a elderly lady quit because of him and she had been there for a long time. He need to do some training on how to treat and talk to people. He yells at them and doesn't talk. Everyone deserves respect.
    This is the speedway that is on the corner of Manchester and Dixie Hwy in Middletown,Ohio.

  26. I purchased a $200.00 moneygram at Speedway #9358 in Hillview,Ky. The moneygram printed out blank. I mailed the mmoneygram,without noticing that it was blank. It was returned to me and I returned to Speedway #9358. I was treated as if I were a thief and an idiot. I was told to "take the blank moneygram to my bank & see if they will cash or refund it". I was told there was "no way to verify if I really did pay $200.00 for it or not". My first phone call was to Moneygram and within 2 minutes the date of purchase, the time of purchase and amount that should have been printed on the money order was verified. Moneygram customer service dept was very helpful and has already made arangements to rectify this unfortunate situation. I then called the Speedway customer service # ( 1-800-643-1948 ) and spoke with "Alex" who was incredibly rude and very poorly spoken. I was told that "there is "nutin" that we can do about it" . I asked for the first letter of his last name and he refused. I asked to speak with his supervisor. After several minutes he returned to the line and informed me that his supervisor "don't wanna talk to you " I asked Alex if he was refusing to allow me to speak with that supervisor and if so could I please speak with someone in charge. He said "no". I asked for her name and he replied Tiffany. As a professional I am very aware that customer service agents often have the option to not give their full name and I explained this to Alex and assured him that I respected his privacy and clarified that I would just like the first letter of the last name for conversation verification purposes. Of course he would not give me the first letter of her last name either. He made it quite clear that employee names were "none of my buisness ". As a professional buisness woman I am quite shocked to be treated in this manor. My opinion of Speedway has been damaged beyond repair. I will NEVER take one penny of my money to Speedway again and I will inform everyone that I come into contact with of the bad buisness practice of Speedway Corp. I will also use my experience with this company as a training device to teach employees how NOT to treat customers. I believe that Speedway should make their employees very aware of the fact that customers ARE the reason for employment in this field. No customers=no job.

  27. speedway needs to hire more employees for every shift your a huge business you can afford to give more hours to these stores employees are burnt out worn out give them help. you give them people to train what help is that. that takes away from customers. I love helping my customers but you wont give me the time to do it. I am a food person busy store and you want me to wait on customers, funny I am so busy its hard to even make coffee and the cashier yes 1 cashier cant keep up. the manager is getting vendors and doing other things why do you count her hours? I rather have 2 cashiers waiting on customers and making coffee. make customers happy with no lines and make us happy by less work. we get no breaks I work hard for you but its getting too hard to care when you don't. make these dms and higher people work in a store one day a month helping a store out. this guy you have going around qa what a joke come on spend money somewhere else

  29. My experience working at Speedway was HORRIBLE. I have never worked for a company that shows so much disrespect to their employees. They half train their employees, and the shit you go through isn't worth the money or your time. I worked at the SPEEDWAY in GENDER RD. and Refugee in OH, The manager Kyle is a horrible manager. He doesn't properly train his employees and treats them as if they are below him. He sits back and let others do his job while he goes on vacations mine you, his store has failed SEVERAL INSPECTIONS. They pretty much throw you out there and once they do your on your own and left helpless. They have many TURNOVERS and a lot of people have made several complaints.

    To future SPEEDWAY employees do not waste your time. SPEEDWAY is full of crap.

I have worked at a speedway in columbus ohio I was there for 7 months and I loved my job after a few months i was promoted to shift leader it got a little difficult but i managed to make it through ....My store had a wonderful kind hearted store manager and a great district manager..sometimes if ur store manager is an ass it will rub off on the other employees as well ....some customers act like their shit dont stink and the world owes them a living but there is still no reason for an employee to get out of control with their mouth and no employee should have to take abuse from a customer...the motto is the customer is always right but in some cases thats not true..if u have a problem with a customer then u get a manager involved and let him or her handle it and u move on to the next one...If i was still in ohio i would still be working with speedway like i said i loved my job and the people i worked with...dont let 1 bad apple spoil it for u there are great opportunities at speedway...

  34. we go though tons of co managers and shift leaders there set up to fail. they have to work every weekend and afternoons. they manage themselves because they work with 1 other person. I am done with you speedway Ive worked for you 8 yrs now in Michigan. and nothing has got better it even worse then ever. your upper management sit in the office and figure out how to piss your employees off. I wish you would do undercover boss to really see how it is come to our stores in Michigan but I hear there even better in ohio. please give us more hours per store how can we sell more if there walking out the door because of lines. here save money this way get rid of the qa guy and those people who count the store and the guy who dust the lights and the dm and a few more hire up people who do what? and give us hours that seem fit to the each store

  36. I stopped at the station in South Vienna and the front door was locked on one side. Fire code says it is to remain unlocked during normal business hours. 24-7. Corporate office will investigate but when I called the manager was a total jerk. I buy $80 in gas every 2 days at that store but not any longer. If I seen someone who works for me treat a customer like that I would immediately fire them.

  37. I have come to realize that many young people have no respect for veterans, especially those who served in combat, to protect their freedoms. Many businesses give these people positions and they have no experience building a team, rather they care about only paychecks, They cannot divide friendship and personal relationships with work ethics. One disagreement with one of their friends leads to a wrath of personal attacks , accusations and an impossible place to work in a comfortable work environment. They think this is really a joke, it is funny and the more they can do to you the more they can gossip. What they do not understand is that this type of behavior is not tolerable in the military, because when in combat you look to the left and right and those who are there, you count on to protect your life.   39. In reading the Dayton Daily News of 31 May 14 it stated that the recent gas price increase is due to “price cycling”. So we consumers have to pay more for a gallon of gas, due to the major players (i.e. Speedway, Shell, or BP) that control and set gas prices, not making enough profit in total due to not making enough money on convenient store items. The article says that this mainly happens in Ohio and sometime Kentucky and Indiana. Is this not price fixing and gouging? Maybe we should try “price cycling, on our employers, due to the fact that inflation has caused us consumers to not have the spending power as beforehand, but then again we would be fired or replaced. Maybe Speedway needs the added profit to fund their new acquisition, so they can greater leverage to control the market. Politicians will not do anything as they are getting their biggest contributions from oil companies directly or indirectly.

  40. Rich station in Owosso,MI. My kids and I caught an employee smoking marijuana behind the store. I went inside to ask to speak with the manager and they tell me she is the one outside. I confronted her and she told her worker I was lying and that my kids must be half retarded. Her name was Amy something. I am letting everyone I know not to use that place!!!!!

    1. I was also at that store that night. I stayed in my truck when I saw the "manager" pointing her fingers in these kids faces. I yelled to her that she was very unprofessional and she flipped me off and shook her head. I left and went to Shell. Nice to know the caliber of employees that Speedway is hiring. Maybe random drug tests would help!

I am in there everyday fueling my truck and it is nothing for me to have to call back in there to get the pumps turned. Yes, this happens so much I got there phone number so I would not have to make five trips into the store in one visit.

  42. I recently went to the speedway in Grand Rapids, Mi on The East Beltline and 28th street. There was an girl named Kylie and she was very rude and disrespectful towards myself and her co workers, I was standing in line for at least 15 minutes while she stood and talked to another customer who had already been rung up! There was an gentleman named Charles who tried to move as fast as he could to handle customers and also asked for help but she ignored him and continued to talk to a customer. This is not the only time I have witnessed this employee give people a hard time and its not fair to the customers! I have been going to this speedway for years and I love the company and rewards program, but I will no longer Be a faithful goer if I have to keep dealing with this Kylie girl.

    1. It is actually a health code violation to reuse Styrofoam cups and you shouldn't have ever been allowed to do it. I would guess upper management found out they were allowing it and enforced the policy. My opinion has always been some of the reusable mugs (coffee, mostly) don't get washed enough and are nastier than reusing the Styrofoam until you can't and throwing it out. Rules are rules though.

  44. Speedway is shady as hell - don't patronize this place!! The word around here is that they water down their gas. Can't confirm that, but I do know that they only employ hood rats. One time I went to one in Cincinnati and I had to wait at the counter for awhile while the cashier was outside making out with a guy. And I even spoke to a "supervisor" on their customer service line that was rude as hell. It trickles down... if the management are disgusting, the employees won't ever be any better if that attitude is the example.

  45. I frequent Speedway on a regular basis. Matter fact I work for Speedway Corp. My only complaint is that there is always multiple employees working in the store and only 1 running a cash register. The Speedway on Derr Rd. Springfield OH is notorious for doing this. To me this is unacceptable. It makes the company look bad and I know that is not how they train.

  46. I usually go to Kroger because of the discount I receive when I get gas. Whenever, I do go to a Speedway, it is the one on Dayton Yellow Springs Rd in Fairborn. I get so annoyed because their pumps are ALWAYS out of receipt paper. So it tells me to "see cashier for a receipt". The purpose for pay at the pump is convenience (or so I thought) and not to have to go into the store to wait in line for a receipt. I think I'll just stick with Kroger only.

  47. I usually go to the speedway in Youngstown, Ohio on Midlothian Blvd. I have been going to this store for over 20 years and never have I seen a place of business operate the way it has now. The management sucks! I go in this store and have to end up making my own coffee because there are not any fresh pots brewing. When I mention this to the assistant manager which I believe her name is Melissa she just looks like oh its been so busy and turn away. But she has time to talk to customers about employees and how she hates her crew she has now. Complain complain complain about everything. Can't make sure coffee is made or attend to a customers issue but can take food to the back to throw away then eat it. This is a disgrace! I limit myself from this store now and have began to go to Sheetz or Shells gas station because I refuse to deal with a company that conducts business this way. There is a time for work and there is a time for discussing your personal complaints about employees to customers. So unethical!

  48. I worked for Speedway for 6 months. It was nice at first but for the most part, they seriously take advantage of you, especially third shift employees. I was on third shift and was expected to clean and organize and stock EVERYTHING in our large store, as well as take care of customers through a damn window. They always said it was too slow at night to have a second person there, but having that extra person until the local bars closed would have been good enough, as the crowd you get is awful and BIG during that time. I was constantly running through that store, having panic attacks every time I set foot on the premises, because of how stressful it was to keep up, trying not to get in trouble with the boss because the entire list of tasks may not be completed by two or three things. I was also constantly promised to be moved onto second shift, but was continuously let down as new hires would be given the position instead. They also expected me to unload a truck order of over 10 grand by myself, and let me tell you something. The crates containing stock for the store were NEVER organized, but strewn about so that you had to sift through and run around the store to put in the correct spot. You have to DATE EVERYTHING that is food or drink and you have to fill the cooler with new product that you had been out of. I am ONE person, one small girl, and I could not have done that alone, yet on the Sunday truck of only 10 crates they would have THREE people working on it as if it were a heavy load! Needless to say, getting paid only minimum wage as third shift employee was not enough to keep me there and do everyone's bidding. Speedway can go fuck themselves.

  49. I live in Ohio and have gone to several Speedway locations. I have to say Ohio laws suck for employee's. Work 8 hours with No break WTH. Speedway has alot of turn over. Why you need to put a plan in place to have a trainer one on one. Have classes to teach what your company rules are.Your company has to much turn over how much money you have lost do to no training the right way.There just put in there well here you go. Then there gone in a few weeks if that.

  50. Its sad that store mgrs and DMS threatened their employees if they dnt show up in inclement weather they are fired. I'm sorry the south is different from the north. We dnt know how to drive in snow or ice like the northern ppl. It was already and incident with a co mgr wrecking in the snow trying to get to work. She spent most of the day at the emergency room. Its sad rather than closing they would rather see someone get and still can't make it to work. If I was her that would have been a law suit!!!!

  52. my wife was injured injured over a month ago a big wind came up hit her in back when she was pumping gas.the straps broke off sign we sent medical bills to them hoping to settle but you cant get them to call you back looks like its time for a lawyer which will cost a lot more how stupid is that when you call they say its still in reveiw well time is up dont take that long all we wanted was medical paid guess now lawyer will decide what to do

  53. I have read through these numerous comments and wonder if the company has taken concern in correcting any of these issues. As a former employee of Speedway (co Manager), if a customer expressed their concern for anything I would try to make it right, regardless of any backlash from corporate. With extenuating circumstances, such as gift card refunds, cigarette refunds, and any others governed by these laws. I hold the customer with respect when respect is due. Yes, I have encountered many rude people but it is retail, they are a dime a dozen. I have been called explicit names and even once have been called a cracker in which all I could do is laugh.The job is stressful, long hours, and unrewarding. At times I would do the job as the manager, which really got my goat since a year prior I was given an interview for advancement into a store manager position then told a year down the road I was not promotable. I just recently quit Speedway because of the amount of stress I was having. I was constantly picking up the slack of the new store manager they brought in. I was even beginning to take it out on my family.
    Sure, the pay is reasonable and the benefits are great but towards the end I said no amount of money will keep me in Speedway. As with any corporation all you are is a number. I was tired of that. I found a new job with a family owned company that saw my skill to be a store manager and has even hired other Speedway co managers for store managers. They pay well above Speedway and respect the employee and value family. I feel Speedway should revisit some of their practices and evaluate those that have more of a demand in the stores. This is why Speedway has a high turnover rate. Their expectations are unrealistic and the hours they give make it impossible to achieve what corporate wants done. Change management should be their first priority if they want to decrease their amount of turnover. On average most retail companies spend 2-6% off gross profit for training employees per year. That is a lot of money to have such a high turnover rate. I am sure though as with many of these comments this one will too be over looked.

  55. Indiana store 3136 has the worst customer service! When trying to get this resolved was told " you don't have to shop at speedway". Really? last I checked they're a convenience store and their main priority is suppost to be provide good customer service conveniently. Clearly the day the customer maytered has passed.

  56. could someone please explain to me how a 28 year old female is allowed to hold the position of a store manager without the experience she hires her friends and if you don't drink or smoke weed you are not in the best friends club she treats her older employees that have the experience like crap she removes money from the till and attack for her own expenses and then replaces it after her rent is paid she takes hours away from the main employees that do all the work so that she gets the hours because she's pregnant she threatens her employees with termination on a daily basis she steals food from the store yet tells everybody else that works there that if they take anything they're firedshe tells her employees that their family members are not allowed in the store yet her boyfriend is in the store everydayshe drinks alcohol while working although she's pregnant she comes in late leaves early yet schedules herself 7 to 5 everyday. she has no respect for anyone over the age of 50 as far as employees she allows her friends to come into the store and take whatever they want without paying for it she has her friends come to the store and trash the parking lot so that the nighttime associates have extra work. she allows drug deals in the parking lot and does nothing about itchillout panhandling as well as the homeless drinking on the property and the only time she takes pride in the stores when upper management is going to be there the next day. and any employee that wants to move up and forward into management is held back because she wants to be the only authority in the storeand the saddest part about all this I'm a customer and this is what I see on a daily basis everytime I go into the storethe only resteelshe is a manager of the Malabar store is because she is young and pretty she does not have the experience for the knowledge for the job at hand however there are associates that work there that do and why they are overlooked is beyond me as well as a lot of other customers

    I understand Speedway is a convenience store I should be able to get in and get out with in a timely manner.

    when I go in in the mornings there is about three associates working all the employees are standing in the office talking all of them are wearing black shirts so I'm assuming all of them are you the management or assistant management one day I walked in the store and didn't say anything and I let them stand in the office and talk they noticed me standing there they left me standing there I stood there for over 30 minutes before one of the employees came out of that office to help me. so I asked come to find out it was the store manager Ashley and two leads Debra and Peggy. very unprofessional! I have been coming to this location for over 20 years and I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect and all my life the store manager piggy who has no respect for any customer and apparently Deborah who just sits on her butt all need to be removed from that store and sent to stores in other locations to learn how to be a proper Speedway associate. I think the most friendliest associate that works at that store is probably Jenniferthere are two people that work as a store they probably have the most experience in retail and they both work nightshowever I'm just a customer what do I knowbut it really bothers me that certain employees are allowed to sit in the office and gossip all day and allowed to ignore their customers on a daily basi. peggy is the rudest associate I have ever met not only is she rude to customers and she threatens other associates that she works with and it is beyond me why they got rid of her and then brought her back to the store she should have been removed a long time ago. I think Speedway is a great company and most of their locations that I have had the opportunity to shop at are friendly and warm but I cannot understand beyond my wildest imagination why the store is allowed to be ran the way it is by this manager who does nothing but threaten her employees with terminationover on a daily basis. I was in this location about a week ago and overheard the manager telling one of the best associates in that store that he was a piece of shitas well as a few other choice words and if he didn't like it he could leave makes me wonder if it's not discrimination because he's the only male that works at this location. if I owned a business this is the kind of man I would want running my company he is customer friendly he goes out of his way for the customers he probably knows half of his customers by name he knows a lot of his customers what products they want and has it ready before they even get to the register. there's another associate at this location a female she's probably in her mid sixties who is treated like crap on a daily basisthere was many a times that she needed a bathroom break but no one would come up front and reliever because they were too busy sitting in the office gossiping and thinking it was funny that she was running the store by herself not only did she have to run the register but she had to go over to Quiznos and make the subs while three other people sit in the office and did nothing it's truly amazing what you can learn if you just sit back and watchthis location needs to be restructured with a manager that doesn't know anybody in this storeor with a manager the treats their employees with respect that they deserve

I visit the same gas station (Speedway) on Lancaster/Columbus ,Ohio twice to three times a week and have noticed the last couple visits that the gas pump reads .04 / cents even before I pump my gas. Today again it is reading .04 cents before I pumped my gas. I told the store manager again and she acted as if it was no big thing. This time I took a photo of the gas pump and I will be contacting our local news station to get this resolved. THIS IS NOT RIGHT. THEY ARE RIPPING OFF GOOD CUSTOMERS.

  61. I work and live in Indiana. I was recently in your stores and noticed that Speedway Gas Stations do not sell Red Gold products. In Indiana, we are very loyal to our brands, especially those of tomato products. With Red Gold being an American made business, which is family owned and now in the 4th generation, they have become very popular in the North and Middle East areas. I believe Red Gold products would bring in a lot of traffic for Speedway gas stations. With your headquarters being in Ohio, I think Red Gold would benefit your company for the fact that our tomatoes come from Indiana and surrounding states. In Indiana most of our local c-stores and gas stations have switched to Red Gold products within the past couple of years. Ricker's now sells Red Gold products and where I live, Speedway and Ricker's are close in location, personally I prefer Speedway because I love to use my Speedy Rewards card. McClure's should look into Red Gold products because I would hate to see Speedway lose customers, like myself, because I am unable to purchase Red Gold products, while I am getting gas and picking up other essential food items.
